Hi everyone.Just received my first Sonos Amp which I have connected to my LG C8 OLED TV (on HDMI port 2). The TV registered the connection to the Amp and enabled something called "Simplink".I also have an Apple TV 4K which I use for everything (connected to HDMI port 1).I use a pair of ATC speakers.My problem: everything seems to work except that every 10-15 seconds the sounds does a very brief skip which is very noticeable and frankly super annoying.The Sonos Amp is updated to newest firmware. I have searched through the Sonos Community to no avail.What should I do?

I recently acquired a Playbar and have added it to my Sonos setup (1x Move, 2x Symfonisk bookshelves, 1x Symfonisk lamp)After installation I noticed that its sound was often cutting out when listening to music streamed over the WiFi (whether from my router or in a wired network).After several hours of problem-solving I realized this is happening only when the optical cable is plugged in at both ends (source + Playbar) - even if no data should be flowing in the cable (the source is off).If I unplug the optical cable at the source end and leave it plugged in the Playbar, the sound is never cut.“TV Autoplay” is disabled in the App.Cuts come randomly (so far at intervals ranging from 40s to 4 mins) and always last about 11 seconds before music resumes. No other Sonos product is interrupted.This is pretty annoying. I wouldn’t like to have to unplug/plug the optical cable each time I switch the audio source. Just checking to see if anyone else is having issues with Netflix not showing atmos logo (just 5.1) so no atmos playing. This occurs when using Appletv and Firestick. The Sony a90j oled apps shows the atmos logo on Netflix. What is strange is that no atmos on Netflix but HBO max and Apple TV+ have atmos via Apple TV and Firestick. This may be another reason to drop Netflix since I am paying for the enhanced level of Netflix and not getting what I pay for.  Does anyone have a fix?

Sonos continues to drop, skip or fail to play. Router is Google wifi, netgear modem. I have 4 stereo pairs of speakers, one single speaker. All other wireless devices in the house have no issue running flawlessly-iPad, phones, tablet, etc. latest feedback from Sonos is that I have a multicast packet issue. Moved my router to another central location but still no improvement. Any suggestions? Something else to try?

I’m connecting some turntables to my system and I’m wondering whether I use a second hand Connect or whether I actually get a Playbase and use the input on that. With the Playbase at least I get another speaker close to my turntables but I’m unsure about what the quality of input is like compared to the Connect.

Hi there. I would playback music from my audio player (e.g. CD player) to Sonos MOVE over a WIFi network. May I know if the following configuration is possible? analog player (audio output) → Sonos Port (audio in) → Sonos Port (Ethernet) → network switch → WiFi AP → Sonos MOVE x2 I can’t stream the music from WiFi of Sonos Port directly because the MOVE are located away from it (different room and different floor), and I have a WiFi network on the premises already. See if it is possible to stream through the wired network then to the MOVE via the nearby AP. Kindly advise, thank you very much.

Hi guys, I’m new to the sonos ecosystem. I bought 2 Symfonisk speakers (gen 1) and the only way I use them is through my apple TV and Airplay.I wanted to add more speakers, but I am lost here, I dont really know if I can add 2 more Symfonisk and have them as sorround.I wanted to buy a Beam (gen 1) and have it as the main channel and the 2 Symfonisk as rear speakers, but I cannot really understand if the beam gen 1 is capable of being paired with the 2 Symfonisk using airplay.I also entertained the idea of having a Play 5 (gen 1) paired but I don’t think it has airplay capabilities.Can you guys halp me out please?

We are doing renovations to our lounge room and will be getting a new TV unit specially made by a joiner. my question is whether the Sonos Arc has to sit on top of the unit under the TV or can i get a recessed space built into the TV unit that will hold the Sonos ARC. This recess will still be directly under the TV. If it is recessed into a cavity, will this affect the sound quality

The app stopped connecting to my Sonos speakers yesterday, don’t think I performed any updates. It just goes to “Not responding” immediately. I tried resetting the app and when I hit “Connect to existing speakers” it again locks up “not responding”.When you reopen the app, if you click on any button, it stops responding.It generates a report to send to Apple which doesn’t make any sense to me.the iOS Phone app and iPod app works just fine on the same network.Any ideas? It’s unfortunate that these Sonos devices continue to have problems, I really like them. But for the price I would think they could perform at least as well as an Echo device which pretty much works seamlessly.

Hi! So i just got a new TV with eARC and i have now set the eARC to “auto” in the TV.But does my Sonos Amp gen2 even support it? Will there be any benefits enabling e-arc in the TV, or will my system automatically just use the regular ARC?

My roam stopped being connected to the wifi two days ago. I could connect via bluetooth fine. I checked it was all on same network etc and just couldn't work it out.Today I have done a factory reset so its flashing green. I have the roam as a device on my sonos s2 app but i cant seem to connect the two.App says searching foi nearby products and to make sure powered on but just doesnt find it.Help please. What am i doing wrong?

Hi, I was wondering best way to get this done, Moving from UK to US with my Sonos Arc,  what would be the best solution?1.I checked with Shipping companies and the measurement seem to be to big for shipping.2. Doesnt seem possible to get on to a flight unless a purchase an extra seat which is not worth it.3. Should i sell in Uk and purchase new one in the US? any advice on this would be appreciated. 

Random tracks/artists are not showing up on my Sonos system, so I’m wondering if I’m at/over the library limit. May I submit a diagnostic to find out?

Since we cannot play youtube if we are not premium, i purchase the youtube premium specialy for sonos… Now why i cannot cast directly from youtube premium app like amazon music, spotify, tidal etc…  

Hey guys Today I bought a new tv, a Samsung Neo QLED 65QN92A. Before I had a Philips tv, and on it, I connected my Arc, sub and could use the 2 one SL to make a home cinema. On the Philips, I used a HDMI from the arc to the tv. Today I tried installing the Sonos system on the Samsung. The arc is again connected to the (e-)arc HDMI port. The settings are also set to use the arc port.The problem is that the Samsung tv only uses the arc and sub to produce the noise. The 2 one SLs I have to create the surround effect, are on, are connected, but don't make any sound. I have tried to remove and reinstall the whole Sonos system, it works completely when I use Spotify, but still not for the tv.I tried the typical unplug and replug the HDMI port.I reconnected the tv in the Sonos app, but in the app it only asks for the arc to connect.The 2 one SLs are, just like the sub and arc, part of my system according to the Sonos app. Edit: after using YouTube on the tv, the one SLs do work with the other

My ex boy friend’s security cameras still connect to my sonos and send alerts all the time. “Someone devoted one XXX Street side of the house”how can I remove his security cameras and stop these annoying alerts please?

Sonos port / Marantz amp / auto switchingI’ve recently purchased a port to provide a zone in my den. The den has a Marantz amp with 5.1 system (non sonos), port is plugged into CD input using rcas.Is it possible to have the input automatically switch to cd if I start using sonos? Currently I have to switch it from the tv input to cd each time?!The tv can automatically switch from cd to tv when I use the tv remote which I assume is due to hdmi / e arc?🤷🏼‍♂️🙏🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

My in-ceiling sonos speakers are connected to Arc through a Sonos Amp. It looks all OK and connected in the system but I can’t get any sound from the surround speakers. When I removed the in-ceiling speakers (and the amp) from the arc system and use them independently, they work perfectly so I know that there are not any issues with the speakers. But when I added them to the Arc system, they don’t work.Interestingly, they were working just fine last month. But I haven’t used them for a month or so and they are not working any more. Not sure if it is connection issue, because when I try to trueplay tuning, it tells me it can’t find the speakers. My amp is connected with an ethernet cable.Any ideas?

For months I’ve been using an Arc with my TV, an Amp powering 2 rear ceiling speakers as the rear surrounds, and sub. The whole thing has been running on Wi-Fi alone, but now all of a sudden the rear surrounds are not being recognized and lose connection. I would like to avoid connecting the an Ethernet cable to the Arc because there’s no clean way of doing it with the setup I have. I know an Ethernet cable will probably do the trick, but it’s frustrating that it suddenly won’t connect over Wi-Fi since that’s part of the reason I got Sonos in the first place. Was this something Sonos updated and now Ethernet is a requirement to have rear surrounds with the Arc? Let me know your thoughts, thanks!

I’ve a Vizio P75Q9-J01, an Arc soundbar, and an Xbox Series X. All are Atmos compatible, and the Arc is hooked up to the TV’s eARC, the Xbox is hooked up to the TV’s 4K/120Hz input, and I’ve all certified HDMI 2.1 cables. No receiver…Occasionally I get no sound w/ the XSX set to Atmos(TV set to auto), sometimes I get it w/ the sound cutting out continually for a split second, sometimes I can only get sound at all from rebooting the XSX a couple of times, and sometimes the XSX powers up and plays Atmos fine on the first attempt(Atmos verified thru the Sonos app). No idea why it’s always so unpredictable other than people posting that it’s a codec compatibility issue, but no one seem to know who has to adjust-Vizio, Microsoft, or Sonos.

I’ve just bought 6 Fives and set them up around my bar to do nothing else but stream Spotify..  Some days they’ll work fine all day - now that I think about it, that only happens when I’m there alone and we’re closed, so no other traffic on the router.Anyway what happens routinely is the music goes dead, even though the timeline is still indicating the track is playing.  If I pause-then-play, it comes back, but only on one speaker - strangely, the one furthest from the router.  The speaker list shows they’re all still connected.  To get the other speakers back I have to power them down to reset, wait a couple of minutes, then pull up the speaker list and reselect the ones I’ve reset.  At other times, some of the speakers will suddenly start playing a different track.  I haven’t quite figured out any consistency to that but it may be be a track I previously searched on Spotify.  This is another source of confusion.  I can launch Spotify directly as an app, or the Spotify app from within

I live in Sint Maarten in the Caribbean most of the year.  I would like to be able to stream Alexa through my Sonos Move, and bought it specifically because it was, “alexa enabled.” However, once I got it set up, I’ve found that Alexa does not work on the sonos in Sint Maarten.  My amazon devices work fine, but don’t have the cordless capabilities that the Move has.  Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Hey all,I installed two Sonos Ray sound bars on a wifi network named Pace generated by my cable modem. All was working great. Later I installed a mesh wifi network with the name Air, and connected my iPhone to it. When I open the Sonos 2 app, I get the alert of a network issue and tap “let’s fix it.” The next screen says “Your mobile device is connected to Air. Let’s update your Sonos devices to connect to it” (or something similar. So I follow the prompts, but during the process the status keeps saying “Connecting Ray to Pace.” So the app knows the Rays aren’t on Air, the same network my phone is on, and suggests that I change the Rays to connect to Air, but then it during the process it always reconnects to Pace. Any advice on how to fix this? I’ve followed the steps in the support articles and app prompts exactly, and I can’t seem to get the Rays to switch to Air. Thanks!

I am in a 2 bedroom apartment. Have fast internet arc,sub, 5,3x sonos 1,boost constantly in and out issues sick of the cutting in and out. What is the point in spending so much on a system that works sometimes really well no issues and other times like absolute shit!!! Should I just cut losses selland get some other system
