Hi Community,My old system (Arc&Sub, OneSL, Era100) used to auto shut off OneSL & Era100 whenever playing music (Everywhere) to then watching TV. Now I have added a Move2 the system plays all speakers when switching from music to TV which makes for really echoing sound. Any reason for this? Thanks 

I can't add Imported Playlists to the queue in the Android app from my Music Library.  This was working previously in the Android app.  Doing the same Imported Playlist in the Windows version of Sonos app is working without issue so it is not an issue with the Playlist.The Android app can see the tracks in the playlist, but if I click on the play or shuffle icon it just spins away doing nothing. If I try to add or replace the queue with the tracks from the playlist it just spins.If I click on the three dots next to.the track and select Play Now, the track plays.This is broken for even Imported Playlists with 1 track.Is this a known issue that's been broken in a recent app update? I have searched but can't see anything about imported playlists broken on Android recently.Android App Version:  83.01.9

Since the update to the app (April 2026), the Sonos app stays active on my phone after I close it in recent apps.  Before the update, I would open the app start some music and then I could close the app completelyid I didn't need it open.  Now it shows what is playing in the notifications even after closing.  If someone sends me a video or I'm watching something on Facebook or TikTok and I change the volume of a video I'm watching, it also changes the sound for my Sonos speakers which are playing music.I have to go into the system settings and force close the Sonos app to stop it from running and taking over the volume controls.I have a Samsung Ultra S23 and my husband has a regular S23 and both phones are doing the same thing. Anyone else having this problem or know the fix?  It's annoying to have to force stop the app every time.

I have the LG G3 tv, Sonos Arc and Sky Qall connections are Ethernet. Sonos is eArcwhen turning on sky q, the tv automatically turns on as well. This works fine once or twice, but then, all too frequently, sky q will turn on, the tv will turn on, but a message appears saying no connection.the easiest resolution is to pull the sky q hdmi cable out, immediately push it back in, and the connection is remade and sky q appears.If the Sonos hdmi cable is removed from the tv (so we only have tv sound) sky q works fine. Every time.any ideas?

I‘m thinking of getting 6 ceiling speakers in my open living/dining/kitchen rooms (total 60m2). However, I‘m not sure how to place them. We have no TV in the living room and generally my wife wants background music. However, I guess a stereo setup if possible would still sound more lively. Please find the layout below and excited to hear your input. my idea so far:- 2 speakers left/right of the sofa, to have nice stereo listening sound in living room- 2 speakers continuing left/right of the dining table (left matching left of living room zone)- 1 speaker (having stereo) in the kitchen (also possible to place 2, but such a small space)or should I put 4 speakers in living room?Many thanks  

Hello! I have an unusual issue with my Sonos speakers and Apple Music.I set separate alarms for each day of the week to wake me up to a different playlist. In the Sonos app, I specify that I want the playlist shuffled.This worked well with Spotify - each time the alarm started, it’d reshuffle the playlist in a different order. However, with Apple Music, I’ve noticed that the playlist is shuffled, but the order remains the same each time the alarm plays. For example, with a playlist of 50 items, each time it’ll start playing song 26, then 15, then 32, etc.Has anyone else noticed this? Is there anything I can do to change this behavior?Thanks!

I have several trhousand tracks which I converted from .wma to .flac, using the NCH Switch Sound File Converter app on Windows 11. The converted files appear to be playing on Sonos, but there is no sound.All ther files are within Sonos limits (44,100khz and 16-bit), and play perfectly well on my phone apps (Rocket Player and Pulsar), so are not corrupted.I have found that if I open one of the files in Audacity, then simpley export it back again, the file plays in Sonos.I have contacted the Sonos aupport team, and sent them a diagnostic while one of the tracks is playing, and they confirm multiple errors, so it appears that it is something to do with the Codec and how Sonos is interpreting it.I do not want to have to manually read and export every file via Audacity, so any suggestions using other software where I can perform a batch reconversion would be appreciated.

Hi everyone, I recently tried using my Sonos setup (Beam + two One SLs) as the main audio output while gaming on my console. The sound quality is great, but I’m noticing a slight delay between the on-screen action and the audio, especially in fast-paced games.I’m currently connected via HDMI ARC, and I’ve checked basic settings, but the lag is still noticeable. Is this a common limitation when using Sonos for gaming, or are there specific settings that can help reduce the delay? Would really appreciate any advice or setup tips.

Anyone else getting this? When you click the play triangle, it shows the square stop for a moment (which shows when it’s playing), and then goes back to the play triangle. The infinite mix channels are fine, but Live on 1 and Live on 2 are not working.

I recently upgraded my router, but now connection to speakers other than Move 2 falls off about every 24 hours. I have to unplug and re plug to get them working again

We have multiple Port players deployed throughout our building, and some of them are connected using point‑to‑point wireless links.When we contacted support about scheduling music, we were advised to use the alarm feature and were shown how to configure it. We understand this is currently a workaround and not true scheduling. While it’s not ideal—especially for commercial environments—it does generally work.However, we recently ran into a serious issue.One of our point‑to‑point links went down, and during the scheduled time, half of the building began beeping nonstop. This caused a major disruption and understandably upset many users throughout the building.In an alarm scenario, this behavior makes sense—if there’s no internet, the alarm should still sound to wake someone up. But in a music scheduling context, this becomes a real problem. My Sonos Beam is connected into the HDMI ARC port of my Samsung Frame TV.The remote has been working just fine for the first few months a I’ve had the TV. I am using the standard Samsung Smart Control remote that comes with the TV.As of about a week ago (4/14/2026) the volume on the TV has stopped working when I click the  “volume up/down button on the remote.The remote otherwise works fine, but the volume/mute features are not working anymore. Someone please help.

 When I load an Amazon Music Unlimited playlist I created that has 498 tracks, why are a different amount of tracks loaded when using two different apps?  When I use Sonos S2, 400 of 498 tracks are loaded.  When I use SonoPhone all 498 tracks are loaded. If I load the 498 track playlist using SonoPhone the queue on Sonos S2 shows all 498 tracks.  Weird!  

Since the firmware update on April 14 (player version 94.1-76070), CEC control between my Sony Bravia XR-55A90J and Arc Ultra is broken. Audio via eARC works fine, but:    1.    No volume OSD – changing volume with the TV remote adjusts the Arc Ultra volume, but the TV no longer shows the on-screen volume indicator. This works intermittently at best.    2.    No standby sync – when I turn off the TV, the Arc Ultra does not power down. Instead it stays on with a green LED (muted), rather than going into standby.Both features worked correctly before the update.What I’ve tried (none resolved the issue):    •    Factory reset of the Arc Ultra + full re-setup via Sonos app    •    New certified Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 cable    •    Cold restart of both TV and Arc Ultra (unplugged from power, 60+ seconds)    •    Toggling Bravia Sync (CEC) off/on with cold restart in between    •    Removing all other HDMI devices (PC on HDMI 4)    •    Toggling eARC and passthrough mode settings on the TV

This morning I received an email from Sonos indicating that I had purchased 2 amps.  They had my correct name, credit card number, and email address but wrong home/billing address.  I canceled my credit card and I think I was able to also cancel the purchase from Sonos.  I had recently (2 days ago) used that card to purchase an Andrew Bird substack subscription.  I know Andrew Bird has done some work for them.  I would like to know how this happened. I never made the purchase.

I have the arc and have the 2 ones and have 2 fives Is there a way to connect all 5 together to make a surround system all together?

I’ve added a ProJect turntable and preamp to my Sonos setup (two Play:5s and two Play:1s).  I get good sound quality by the volume is low. Here’s how I’ve set it up: I’ve routed the turntable through a pre-amp that’s connected to a Sonos Connect which connects wirelessly to my various speakers.  I’ve tried several amps, but the volume is always low, like a 3 or 4.  I’ve adjusted the volume levels on the turntable and the speakers to full volume, but still no luck.  Any suggestions?

Hi there! I am looking for easy to set up  speakers with easy streaming for a Yoga/Pilates Studio - with good and well balanced sound across the room. Ideally, the sound quality should be the same in the whole room and not sound “cheap”. The soundsytem doesnt have to be too loud, except maybe in the “power pilates” class i turn it up a little more, but still not like a “party” atmosphere, the instructors should still be heard over the music :)The room is ~45-50m2  (5,50 x 9m).  Height is around  2,70-2,80mOne of the longer side walls is glass. Should I go for 1 Era 300 or 2 Era 100s?(Or 2 Era 300s? But little out of budget tbh) And which placement would be ideal for the Era 300 vs 2 Era 100s?Thanks in advance, i dont know much about speaker system so anything helps at this point.  

Recently i upgraded my soundbar form a cheap generic to a beam 2 to use with my existing Era 300’s as surrounds.Initial set up seemed to go ok enjoyed a week of decent sound from my TV.Yesterday, my TV suddenly reset and I lost sound. When it started to work again, SONOS defaulted to playing music form spotify rather then the TV output. The only way i can get TV as default is to remove the surrounds from the set up (making them a different system). I now have only the beam connected to the TV, this isn’t ideal as i brought this to work alongside the Era 300’s.Sorry if this is rambling.SystemAmazon Fire series 4 TVSKY QBeam 2Era 300(pair)

Every few weeks my Sonos move needs a factory reset for it to work. It’s very annoying having to wait to reset it every time I want to use it. It stays on the charger when I’m not using it
