I’m having issues whereby nothing in the Sonos Pocketcast plugin is syncing too or from my Pocketcast app / account. I see this was a problem previously but threads have been closed for comment, but a quick search of the internet shows this is still a problem for other users also. Is there a solution?

Hi Guys.I have about 8 Sonos speakers in various locations around the house. Of current concern is a Play1 in the Master bedroom. I set an alarm on this speaker with the S1 app before it was called the S1 app - probably about 10 years ago if not more. 6 days a week (I have Saturdays off) it streams a local radio station from 6:30 am for two and a half hours - so it shuts off at 9 when everyone has either gone to work, or should be up in the office if they are working from home that day. If I hear it stop, I know I’m late into my home office. For more than a decade it has worked like clockwork.2 or 3 months ago it started shutting off randomly. Its supposed to run for 150 minutes, but might go for 45, might go for 10, this morning it only went for about 2 minutes before cutting off. Sometimes it substitutes the stream for the chime when the radio cuts out (like this morning) but usually it doesn’t - just stops. I currently have two Sonance outdoor speakers connected in parallel to a single channel of a Sonos Amp. I’d like to add a third speaker for a patio space. I see that the Amp is approved to connect three Sonance speakers but I’m wondering if I can connect a third 8-ohm non-Sonance speaker in parallel to the system? I’d consider adding a third Sonance outdoor speaker but it appears they’re only available in pairs.

How will the two Sonos Play speakers behave in stereo mode, but connected by a USB-C/AUX adapter to TV?

One of the things that I really about Mac is being able to seamlessly select a Sonos speaker from Control Center to enjoy better audio than my MacBook Pro provides.  That has worked well until yesterday.Now when I select a Sonos speaker (in this case an Era 100), audio works for 1-2 seconds and then it stops.  The speaker still appears in Control Center and I can adjust the volume slider, but there’s no audio.I think I’ve narrowed down the issue.  Yesterday I installed a Sonnet 10GbE Thunderbolt adapter.  When that’s plugged in, I run into the issue with audio to the Sonos cutting off.  If I unplug the adapter, the audio works as expected.What’s the solution?

Hi All,Overall, I can’t complain. Physical hardware construction and delivery of sound is amazing. When it Works….! When it doesn’t, for whatever reason… cause considerable grief…. Upgrades another story… ! To put the cards on the table, I chose Apple,…. once hooked they reel you in… I chose Sonos,… and have spent more then AUD $100K on Sonos…. No issue.. when it works…  But when it doesn’t, well let me tell you… I’d put it all in a cardboard box and send it back…Kind regards, Matthew.  

Hi allafter a bit of advice. I have built a golf simulator in my garden in a tall log cabin.  currently I have a gaming pc and sky stream box connected to a projector via hdmi. (No eARC support) I output the sound from the projector via 3.5mm output and then into a cheap soundbar and sub from creative. It works but I want to upgrade the sound.so my question is, can I go from my projector using the 3.5mm aux cable into a era 100 using the adaptor, but also have a 2nd era 100 to create a Stereo pair? is there any lag / delay? also… could I then add a mini sub at some point?being standard stereo connection what’s the sound quality going to be like? thanks  

I have 7 sonos amps configured in a daisy chain to one switch port for ethernet right now. I have tried both 1 amp wired and no amps wired with the same results. The volume control slider on s2 app is about 20% of the time delayed about 1-2 seconds. Meaning I change the audio but the audio doesn't actually adjust for 1-2 seconds. I have many projects with the same config and I have never noticed this. Same exact equipment and gear.The only difference here is the router inf ront of the Bell Fiber GigaHub and configured with PPPOE which seems to have been working well. I downloaded teh desktop app and it works perfect. WiFi is very strong I am right beside an AP with full power.Spoke with Sonos and they saw nothing on their end. Anyone have any ideas, similar circumstance or anything ?I verified non of the amps is the root bridge in the matrix and they all just appear as secondary nodes which my understanding is good

App tells me that I keep needing to update network, even after I do it and it’s verified, it tells me I am not connected 

Out of the blue last month my Sonos one stopped playing music on YouTube music. I’ve tried unlinking and de authorising and nothing seems to work I swapped to Alexa and had no issues other than Alexa doesn’t let you use YouTube music and since that’s the service I use. effectively I’m left with a paperweight as it stands 

I have some ghost boxes (dimmed out, don’t do anything when touched, can’t be removed when editing the list) in my Sonos favourites in the iOS app. On the web player they are not visible.  anyone know how I can rid of them or can Sonos fix this bug? tia

I have 2 speakers, one in the office, the other in the family room. The office speaker Works just fine, the family speaker is not detectable.  I did the rest by unplugging from electrical but its still not detectable.  Its plugged directly into the router.

Suddenly the SONOS S2 app on MAC OS Sequoia 15.7.3 when it starts it spends 5 - 6 seconds searching for the sonos network. Then announces my Firewall settings need changing. Funny as the firewall is turned off on this particular laptop. Anyway it eventually gets past this and then announces the app needs an update. Hit the search for updates button, funny as there are no updates. What the hell is going on with this piece of junk? Maybe unrelated but when playing across multiple devices, some devices go quiet for upto a minute then continues. No indication of issues and at least one device continues playing without issue.  

Why won’t my Play:1 and Play:3 connect after a short power cut? I have factory reset both products and also reset the S2 app…all to no avail. I cannot reconnect the Play speakers and this has been over a week now, but somehow my Beam seems miraculously immune to any issues whatsoever and has remained constantly connected! You couldn’t make it up. Why is Sonos so clunky and difficult to use? Has anyone had a similar issue or maybe help with any advice? 

Hello,I have a sonos arc ultra + sub mini + 2 era 100 as surrounds. I have a problem when I recalibrate the system if trueplay has already been done once. The sweeps are very loud and almost unbearable. I have to do a hard reset (and link the sub and the era 100) before performing trueplay again. By now it is the only way i found to perform trueplay at a bearable volume.Is it a normal behaviour for the arc ultra or do i miss something ? I use an iPhone se with advanced trueplay.Moreover, if i perform simple trueplay on my android Phone, the sweeps are also very loud and the switch on/off for trueplay does not appear, even if trueplay finished without error.

My Sonos system is getting along with my SMB NAS now. Except one album out of 2000 is showing up wrong! Below you can see that Sonos shows two copies of the same album, although of course there is only one. And (much worse!) that “album” only has one song listed, even though there are 20 on that album.  Looking at the tags there isn’t anything odd about that album. I have recently stopped using Napster as my music source and have started using Amazon Music . My subscription to Amazon Music is the Standard - Individual at £9.99 per month.Using the Sonos app I am unable to select artists or tunes I enter - no selections can be found. I can play generic music so I know my Sonos speakers are OK.My question is should I be able to select what I want to hear with my Amazon Music Standard - Individual subscription (as I could with Napster) or do I need to upgrade my Amazon subscription to a more expensive option.

I have a SL speaker in my garage I want to run 24/7/365 but that never works. After a couple days the music stops, I go the app and tap play and away it goes again. Why does it just quit playing music?

When playing a podcast in bbc sounds the queue is back to front so old episodes keep playing. Has anyone found a fix to this? 

Please allow a future integration with home assistant by allowing the sonos speakers to work as satalites for Home Assistant.  Or integrate sonos voice to communicate with home assistant. It just makes sense that this is on the pipeline for updates. I like many others are well invested in the sonos ecosystem, with speakers in every room. , its just annoying having to run sonos, alexa and have a separate satellite for HA.  With sonos voice being the most non-cloud friendly,I thought you would pair well with HA. I hope this gives food for thought and I hope to see some sort of improved integration with HA in the future. Help male smart homes smarter 😄 Thanks Dave

HiThere seems to be a lot of conflicting information about which Sonos speakers play lossless and also how to tell.  I have the following set up: Play:1 and One paired in one roomPlay:1 and One paired in second roomEra 100 in another room  Will any of these play lossless? If so, how do I make sure it happens or is it automatic?I always play directly from the Sonos app with integrated Apple Music thanks  

I am strongly considering purchasing the new Sonos Play. I first need to know if this speaker can be used in combination with the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) that is currently being used for my TV. Or can the Move 2 do this?
