Yes, I realize that this has been asked before, but with macOS losing Rosetta 2 with macOS 28, coming out in 2027, is there any chance of the desktop Sonos app being ported to Apple silicon?I primarily use the macOS app, and am not really looking forward to relying on the web app, since I live in an area with poor internet availability.

I would like to have 2 sonos ace headphones connected to my system when my wife and I watch a movie,  whilst my daughter is studying in the other room. I would like to know if that is possible before I purchase a second ace. I have a simple set up with my arc ultra to my TV and sub. I believe this was not possible a year ago when I got the system. Has this changed? Thank you for any feedback. 

I have a new (~3 weeks) Sonos Era 100 that has developed a digital ‘scratch’ sound when waking up the voice assistant. Whenever I say “Alexa…” I’ll get the chime and what sounds like a short scratch/static sound. The rest of audio playback is fine, music is unaffected, and I’ve not heard this same sound aside from using the wake word.Restarting the speaker didn’t do anything and I’m not sure if this is something I should initiate a return for, or if its a known issue with a fix.Ideas are welcome.

Hi there, I'm having issues with TuneIn lately. Says "Couldn't Play Content. Try Again." I also can't remove/re-add Tunein, when I Remove Accounts it says "Accounts not removed. Something went wrong when removing your accounts". So I'm stuck really. Tried rebooting router, unplugging speakers, clearing cache of the app, uninstalling app, etc. Any help would be appreciated. 

Followed the steps to installing my music library in Sonos. The library is now visible in the controller app but is empty of content.Suggestions? 

Suddenly the SONOS S2 app on MAC OS Sequoia 15.7.3 when it starts it spends 5 - 6 seconds searching for the sonos network. Then announces my Firewall settings need changing. Funny as the firewall is turned off on this particular laptop. Anyway it eventually gets past this and then announces the app needs an update. Hit the search for updates button, funny as there are no updates. What the hell is going on with this piece of junk? Maybe unrelated but when playing across multiple devices, some devices go quiet for upto a minute then continues. No indication of issues and at least one device continues playing without issue.  

The issue with sound cutting out is specific to Teams. It can happen while the other person is speaking. If I open the app on my phone, I can tell the speaker to start playing the line-in signal again; but it seems to cut out again as soon as my phone locks.Audio Delay is set to minimum. Pretty much a requirement for PC sound and essential for Teams, or the other person will hear an echo of their voice. At the suggestion of the support chatbot, I set the line in sound to compressed, rather than automatic. Did not fix it - may even have made it worse. Source level is set to high, which gives better volume control; but had the same problem at 8 (Portable Player, PC). Happens with and without an Autoplay volume set. Turning off Teams noise suppression does not help.The speaker is connected via the headphone output of a dock. The dock is used by multiple laptops, so Bluetooth is not an option. The Project T2 turntable, sold by Sonos as if it is a Sonos turntable (it isn’t), doesn’t integrate well with my Sonos system. I am using a Move 2 to support the line-in from the turntable.The problem is this: whenever I flip a record from A to B side, Sonos loses the audio connection. Sometimes the sound comes on later by itself after a delay of some tens of seconds (so we don't hear the beginning of the record). Sometimes I have to hit the "play" button on the app for the sound to come through (more audio missed). Sometimes some speakers play the music but another speaker starts to play some tens of seconds later. If I change which speakers are grouped to play, the sound disappears. The app keeps showing the "apply" button for the speaker grouping, but then nothing happens. Repeat.In short, the integration with Sonos is absolutely horrible and Sonos should not be selling it as an integrated product. A Sonos problem has cropped up today that I need your assistance with. My music files are stored on a Synology NAS and at present Sonos (as operated from both my Imac and my Iphone) has lost some of its contact with the NAS.  I can play NAS-contained files that are already in one of my playlists (by accessing the playlist and adding to the queue), but I can't scroll through my whole Music Library collection -- if I try to do this (Music Library -> click on Artists, Genres, Albums, etc.) , I get "No selections are available".  Also, in displaying a listing for a file (via the above-mentioned playlist method) instead of displaying the stored metadata title of the file, it displays the filename-plus-extension. Any assistance with these problems will be much appreciated!  -- Alan Rosenthal (Sonos user since 2005) 

I’m moving to a new house and trying to figure out the best placement for my Era 300 speakers in the living room. I have an arc ultra, 2 era 300s, and a gen 4 sub.  The TV will be mounted above the mantle and the sound bar would sit on that. The room will have couch and large rug. I’ve gone through the various placement options through other reddits/sonos community and it seems like the best choice was mount the 300s under the vents on the wall above the kitchen (behind that wall is the attic so there’s easy access). Then possibly inverting those 300s.I realize that vaulted ceiling means you’re not going to get perfect theater quality and that’s okay. I just want the sound to make sense is at all possible and what I mean is that I don’t want a sound that’s supposed to be behind me to be heard from the ceiling. Hello, I have passive speakers that I use to listen to stereo music and for television. I want to integrate them completely into my Sonos ecosystem. (voice control using my Sonos Era 100 for switching on, off, volume adjustment...) I want to buy an amplifier connected to a Sonos Port that my system appears in the sonos application as a real Sonos speaker. I read in the instructions that it was possible to use the Sonos Port to adjust the volume of the amplifier using the "pass-Trough" function. I see on many forums that many people have problems with this function.  Do you have a list of amplifiers compatible with the "pass-Trough" function of the Sonos port?Thanks

Seem to be having odd problems with streaming radio stations to a Beam. Started off with problems on a Google Mini speaker. Used it to leave Boom Radio or Greatest Hits for the dogs wile out. Stream started dropping out and not restarting. Tried it on the Beam using Alexa voice control. Boom Radio exactly the same, Greatest Hits still drops but reconnects and carries on. Suspected WiFi issues so hardwired Beam to router. Exactly the same. Tried streaming from Amazon Music as a test. Perfect, in terms of drop outs any way. Streaming video to LG TV or Sky Q box through same switch is fine.broadband is Gigaclear FTTP 500Mbps down.any ideas? Appears to be certain sources rather than a device or network issue, but might well be wrong.

I am not able to connect sub mini to arc . It sees sub mini but says I need to assign to room then says it's not connected. I've reboot everything, removed all devices and changed channels. Please advise, thanks 

I am looking to improve my current Sonos setup; I use the current setup within my games room for entertainment so I can stream music from YouTube, or Apple Music (I appreciate that the quality is dependent on the streaming service and the subscription/configuration).I currently have an Arc sound bar below my TV which is mounted on the wall and a Sonos amp driving two 8 inch ceiling speakers towards the rear of the room. I also have a Sonos subwoofer to one-side.I’ve been looking at the Sonos Era 100, or 300 although I don’t have an ideal place to position this speaker and not sure if I need Dolby Atmos! The other option that I was considering was the Sonos Five and placing them each side of the TV about 2 meters away. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions to improve and optimise the sound. I have a Sonos group setup with an arc soundbar, sub and 2 Sonos 3 speakers. The group is connected to my network and the soundbar is physically connected to my Sony 98” TV. I’m trying to disconnect the group from my TV and have just the soundbar connected to it. I have been unable to do that using the app. Any suggestions?

Un jour sans prévenir (je suppose depuis la MaJ) rien ne fonctionne correctement. Sur mon application Sonos je ne vois plus que 3 Roam alors que sur la version ordinateur je vois 5 Roam.J’ai racheté une nouvelle Roam car une est HS au bout de 1 an. Il m’est impossible de la configurer sur le réseau privé, erreur de configuration ou erreur de connection avec le serveur de mise à jour. J’ai redémarré mon système wifi mais toujours non fonctionnel. avez-vous une idée d’où cela pourrait venir ? Je trouve vraiment ce système nul, je m’arrache les cheveux. merci

Bonjour,J' ai une enceinte Sonos move et l'autre jour j' ai pris mon téléphone pour la déconnecté mais elle a émis plusieurs bruits de sons système ( sûrement de mon téléphone) alors que la manip est assez rapide à faire pour l'éteindre avec le téléphone , mon enceinte a émis au moins 8 ou 10 bruits de son système. Mon téléphone est toujours en sonnerie et le bruit des touches étaient sûrement activé. Et je ne crois pas avoir entendu la petite musique que l'enceinte fait quand elle s'éteint. Speakers not playing spotify or will start playing then stop. I have 15 speakers 12 are connected through ethernet. 3 on wifi. Same network I have had been using for years. Now either the speakers will not start playing or will only play the ones on the wired network. I have not made any changes to the network either or moved speakers around. 

Hi everyone,I'm hoping someone has seen this before because we've reached the point where we've exhausted most of the obvious troubleshooting.This is a commercial installation at a shop.System:4 x Era 100 Sonos S2 All speakers on the latest firmware All on the same WiFi network Cisco Meraki enterprise WiFi Same VLAN Same subnet Same APThe issue:Every speaker works perfectly on its own.Any combination of 2 speakers will group and play correctly.As soon as I add a third speaker to the group, the Sonos app shows all speakers grouped and playing, but only the first two actually output audio. The speaker added last is always silent.I've now installed a fourth speaker and the behaviour is identical. I can only ever get audio from two grouped speakers, regardless of which speakers I choose.Another symptom is that when the system is in this failed state, the two speakers that are playing will occasionally stutter or briefly stop and start.Things we've already checked:Factory reset all speakers

I have a Sonos Ray and a Samsung tv (with no optical port). I also watch TV through a Roku stick. I purchased an adapter to connect it all but when I turn my TV off for the night, then come back the next morning. I don’t get any sound from the soundbar. What can I do?
