Can you connect to a Sonos amp headphones from another brand?

I’m having an issue with a Roam 2 I bought a few weeks ago. I bought it to use through Airplay and I have an iOS automation set in the mornings to play the radio through all of my Airplay speakers. The Roam’s living in a bathroom meaning I can’t keep it on a dock or plugged in so I’ve set a daily alarm on the Sonos app at 0% volume just before the automation runs just to wake the speaker up. This worked great the first time I tested it but every time since then the alarm’s chimed at pretty much full volume instead of playing silently as I've got set on the app. Does anyone know how I can fix that or another workaround I can use to get the Roam out of sleep mode so it’s reconnected to airplay by the time my automation runs? Thanks

I can't add Imported Playlists to the queue in the Android app from my Music Library.  This was working previously in the Android app.  Doing the same Imported Playlist in the Windows version of Sonos app is working without issue so it is not an issue with the Playlist.The Android app can see the tracks in the playlist, but if I click on the play or shuffle icon it just spins away doing nothing. If I try to add or replace the queue with the tracks from the playlist it just spins.If I click on the three dots next to.the track and select Play Now, the track plays.This is broken for even Imported Playlists with 1 track.Is this a known issue that's been broken in a recent app update? I have searched but can't see anything about imported playlists broken on Android recently.Android App Version:  83.01.9

It’s disappointing that SONOS acknowledges that you cannot select a Group for an Alarm and instead instructs you to pick a Room and select Include Grouped Rooms. What if that Room is part of more than one Group??  The easier, more intuitive option would be to allow you to choose a Group for the Alarm, right?  And here is an additional issue I’m having with Include Grouped Rooms - a speaker that is not “included” in a room that is selected for an Alarm, comes on with that Alarm intermittently..?  Worst part of the issue is - it’s a 6AM Alarm that comes on in the bedroom when it shouldn’t.  That only heightens my frustration with this lack of feature/function when that happens.  Thanks for considering this enhancement. 

Being a quadriplegic I used to use Alexa to run a routine to operate the callbell in the nursing home. Since Alexa plus became available it continually fails to run the routines correctly. I understand sonos and EWElink can be connected to run routines by that System… how?

Hi everyone,I’ve been experiencing a frustrating issue since updating my Sonos app. My speakers appear in the app initially, but after a few minutes they randomly disappear or show as disconnected even though they’re still connected to my Wi-Fi network.I’ve already tried:Restarting the router and all Sonos devices Reinstalling the app Resetting the speakers and setting them up again Ensuring all devices are on the same networkThe problem keeps coming back, especially when trying to group rooms or switch between music services.Has anyone else encountered this issue recently? I have 2 samsung TVs in the same room.  I want the option of mirroring video content.  One TV has an Arc Ultra (with 300 surround x2 and sub 4) . When mirroring, I want sound to come from the Arc Ultra/home theatre set up.  How do I accomplish this?  I am a novice and would appreciate guidance. 

I have a Beam Gen 2 connected to a Sony BRAVIA XR-48A90K. About 90% of the time when I turn the TV on it does not detect the Beam and reverts back to the built-in speakers. If I go into the TV settings and change the output to Audio System it starts working. Is there something I can do so the TV reliably detects the Beam when I turn it on?

I have a Xgimi Horizon 20pro projector, Sonos playbar, Ugreen wireless extender transmitter & receiver (CM506), Ugreen audio splitter HDMI to optical spdif convertor (CM677). As I don't want to run a long optical cable across the 5 meter floor, how do I set this up to wirelessly connect horizon 20pro to Sonos playbar? My projector doesn't seems to detect any device from HDMI ARC. Able to advise?

how to set up a used Sonos

I just recently set up my ArcEra3pairSub3 for the first time in 5 months. I swear, regardless of Netflix, HBO, Apple et al. app, the TV or Movie visual meta data showed up in the Sonos app play screen in the past. It certainly does now, when AirPlaying, but on from “TV Source”. There are many changes in the app from my last use, but I just can’t figure this out. Hi. Never had issues with connectivity. Didn’t change / replace / reconnected router or iPhone, but after newest firmware update, sonos app shows “not connected”. I can easily update network and add system to my WiFi, but then after couple minutes it shows again. Anyone experiencing this issue after update?

Hi, Another update, another problem.  Not sure where the issue lies, but within the Desktop app today, I noticed that my playlists didn’t display all tracks (around 450).  I opened Amazon’s Music app, and matched it to around 220 showing in Sonos.“ah well”, I thought, “I’ll just use the Android app instead”.  Same in there too…I see the service status for the Amazon service is green, so ‘all good’ apparently, hence the ask. Is this a new known issue introduced?  Is there an ETA on a fix for this? Thanks

I can hardly believe I'm writing this, but the most recent app update has reintroduced a bug I complained about on here a year ago, and which was subsequently fixed.https://en.community.sonos.com/controllers-and-music-services-229131/mute-individual-products-6902079I have all my speakers grouped together and mute/unmute them as I move around the house, because it's easier than grouping/ungrouping them.  I don't want them all on all the time, as it disturbs my neighbours.Following the most recent app update, my speakers now all unmute themselves every time I change the group volume (even if I'm turning it down!)Why? How could anybody think this is a good idea? When will this unwanted functionality be removed (again)? More generally I am so sick of Sonos needlessly dicking about with things which work fine as they are. The sound on my Arc Ultra persistently drops out when I change channel (eg from Apple TV back to a TV channel. Also changing between something playing in Dolby Digital Plus back to non-DDP).I've tried all the suggested fixes that I can find both here and YouTube but it's still doing it. Does anybody have the magic fix? Arc Ultra/Sony 65xf8505 (ARC connection)/Virgin Media 360

IT performance is severely lacking for such a premium brand. Why is there no integration of computers through the desktop app? Surely it's connected through the WIFI mesh system exactly the same as the TV? This seems like a basic oversight for the gaming community. Why should I need workarounds?  

I’m getting a message on my MacBook that the Sonos app will soon need to be upgraded because support for apps built for the Intel processors are being phased out. I have Sonos app version 17.2 and MacOS 26.4.1. Is a newer version of the Sonos app available?

In my front room, I run the TV audio through a Fire Cube. I have two Sonos Amps connected by HDMI-eArc.  One of the Amps powers a pair of front L/R main speakers and the second Sonos Amp is connected to a pair of in-ceiling rear speakers.I have used this setup with no issues for over a year now until recently I started having issues with the Fire Cube losing internet connection sporadially.  To test whether or not it was the Fire Cube or if it was something else, I swapped out a different Fire Cube from my Master Bedroom (MBR).I took the Fire Cube from my MBR and connected it to my front room TV.  Everything works fine, the sound comes on through my Sonos Amps EXCEPT now I am not able to control the volume of the Sonos Amps using the little Fire Cube remote.  The volume is adjustable through the Sonos ap, but that is not ideal.Is there some setting on the Fire Cube that I need to adjust so that I can adjust the Sonos Amps volume using the Fire Cube’s remote?

I have a few questions regarding how Headphone Linking, TV Audio Swap, and app control are going to work  for Ace Ultra in a couple different situations.Say you have a Sonos System with the following rooms setup.Room 1 - Arc UltraRoom 2 - Era 100Room 3 - Era 300Room 4 - Ace Ultra Scenario 1 -Action - Room 1 is playing TV Audio.  While in room 1, with the  Ace Ultra, press (hold) the content key to transfer TV audio to the Ace Ultra.  Audio stops on Room 1 and plays on the Ace Ultra.    Press the content key again while still in room 1.Result  - Audio stops on Ace Ultra and returns to room 1.  Standard TV Swap scenario. Scenario 2 -Action - Room 1 is playing TV Audio.  While in room 1, with the  Ace Ultra, press (hold) the content key to transfer TV audio to the Ace Ultra.  Audio stops on Room 1 and plays on the Ace Ultra.    Move to room 2 and press the content key.Result  - Audio stops on Ace Ultra and returns to room 1? (or does TV audio transfer to room 2?) Scenario 3 -Action - Room

Will the new Sonos Ace Ultra headphone be just another room in the S2 app? Or does it require one of the compatible Sonos products?

I am experiencing an audio routing issue with my Sonos surround setup that only started happening recently after a recent software update. Up until recently, this setup worked perfectly.My Setup:Soundbar: Sonos Beam (Gen 2) connected via HDMI eARC. Surrounds: Stereo pair of Sonos Era 100s. TV: Sony W800F. Source: Apple TV 4K connected to the Sony TV via HDMI.Whenever I switch on my TV, I need to manually go into the apple audio output option, select Sonos setup, and everything works great—audio plays perfectly through the Beam and both Era 100 surrounds.However, the moment I press any button with the Apple TV remote (changing apps, volume controls, or pausing a video), the audio output automatically changes away from the Sonos system back to "Native/TV Speakers". Because the TV assumes the Beam is the native speaker, I still get front audio, but the Era 100 surround channels completely cut out, and I completely lose the ability to control the volume using my Apple TV remote.To get surr
