Now you can only enable or disable status light for the speaker that played the right/left sound when doing the stereo setup.If you want to turn both steps light on or off you have to disable the stereo pair.Set each speaker status light on or off and then do the stereo pairing again. Still you can only control the speaker played the right/left sound.

I opened the S1 app on my phone (Pixel 9) to adjust the EQ on my old Play:5 and it was not seen in the app. Spotify was playing at the time, no issues.The Play:5 is connected to an ancient bridge (on its third power supply, lol)I factory reset and re-added the device but only succeeded via a wired connection after many tries. After that the device works on wired, including with the S1 app. But once I unplug from the ethernet the S1 app stops seeing it, while Spotify just keeps on working as before.If I attempt the “find missing product” procedure it responds immediately when I press the buttons on the Play:5 but fails to connect. In other words, it immediately detects the device when the pairing buttons are pressed then fails to find the device it just detected buttons being pressed on. 10/10, no notes, perfect user experience. ;-)S/N: 000E585F90202 (hopefully there’s some telemetry that can get this sorted.

Yes, I realize that this has been asked before, but with macOS losing Rosetta 2 with macOS 28, coming out in 2027, is there any chance of the desktop Sonos app being ported to Apple silicon?I primarily use the macOS app, and am not really looking forward to relying on the web app, since I live in an area with poor internet availability.

Factory reset instructions say to unplug the power cord and hold a certain button down while plugging it back in.Can we not just turn the speaker or whatever off at the wall socket and turn it back on while holding the button instead of actually unplugging the power cord. Wouldn't that do the exact same thing and be so much easier i mean if we can then why dont Sonos just say to turn the speaker off at the wall then turn it back on while holding the button down? seems extremely overkill to me to tell us to pull the power cable out. Some peoples cables are hard to get to.Out of curiosity i did actually test it and it seemed to work fine but i dunno just seems like they really overcomplicated the reset procedure and I cant think of a reason why they would do that. Which leads me to think unplugging the cable is actually important and my reset may not of actually wiped everything    

Hi all, I currently have a sonos arc (non ultra) paired with a sub gen 3 and two era 300 as surround. I also have a beam gen 2 and two ones in other rooms but my question is this…I want to turn off my 2.4g wifi signal and only use 5g and above on my router. My arc and sub gen 3 won't work on this band but the era 300 will.I am wondering if the setup will work if I hardwire the arc to a router (which the sub can join along with other older speakers via sonosnet) and also have the era 300 (and beam) connect via 5g?Will they still all work together and will the era 300s still work as rears to the arc, as the arc will he hardwired but the eras will be wifi 5g (I believe the eras will not use sonosnet as it is phased out on newer speakers)?I hope it am making sense. Any help is appreciated. P.s the reason I want 2.4g off is some other devices prioritise it but I need them to be on 5g for stable cloud gaming and they don't have manual selection.

Anyone else getting this? When you click the play triangle, it shows the square stop for a moment (which shows when it’s playing), and then goes back to the play triangle. The infinite mix channels are fine, but Live on 1 and Live on 2 are not working.

Apple has released a beta for Apple TV (tvOS 26.4)In this update: "It appears that Apple added this new setting (Continuous Audio Connection), in part, to address complaints from Apple TV users who use Sonos speakers paired with AV receivers. Some users have indicated they hear popping noises or awkwardly low volume levels on certain channels, specifically with 5.1-channel content."When I open my SONOS App it now shows that EVERYTHING I play from ATV is in Dolby Atmos, these are TV programs that I am 100% sure are not played in Atmos.It says: “Apple TV uses a Dolby MAT connection for glitch-free playback across formats. Can the Sonos amp be controlled by Bluetooth or WiFi without using the Sonos amp for anyone to control and connect through blue tooth 

I know it’s a TV setting, but since the TV hasn’t had firmware updates in a while, it makes me somewhat suspicious of a possible update to my Sonos Arc Ultra soundbar.For the past few days, even though I have the TV set to “DD+”, it randomly switches back to “PCM” on its own. Obviously, when I play something in Atmos or DD+, it stays in PCM until I manually change the TV settings again.It’s very annoying—every time I want to watch a new video, I have to go into the TV settings just to check if everything is correct.The TV is a few years old, but this didn’t happen before on my Samsung MU6100.

Hello! I have an unusual issue with my Sonos speakers and Apple Music.I set separate alarms for each day of the week to wake me up to a different playlist. In the Sonos app, I specify that I want the playlist shuffled.This worked well with Spotify - each time the alarm started, it’d reshuffle the playlist in a different order. However, with Apple Music, I’ve noticed that the playlist is shuffled, but the order remains the same each time the alarm plays. For example, with a playlist of 50 items, each time it’ll start playing song 26, then 15, then 32, etc.Has anyone else noticed this? Is there anything I can do to change this behavior?Thanks!

The pop-up menu in Apple music occasionally is missing the view artist and view album choices. Sometimes it shows and sometimes it does not. Anybody else for this issue?

I recently had issues with my Era 300 and Stands. The screws were worn out after 2 cycles of assembly and disassembly.  For a premium brand where 1 set of Speaker and Stand costs almost 1000€ the policy is super disappinting, a lot of non premium brands are way more consumer friendly. Sonos does not offer replacement parts to order (am I expected to buy the whole stand because a small part is broken?) Installation manual does not provide helpful specs “Black Screws” (say Phillips M5 28mm PH2 Bit) The support is closing the chat before you could ask all your questions

I have a Lenovo laptop that I want to wirelessly stream via transmitter all audio (not streaming services) from computer through wireless receiver connected to amp 2.1….my amp 2.1 has passive 3rd party speakers and 3rd party powered subwoofer. I also have a connect gen1 on my sonos system as well but is not currently doing anything….I have tried lenovo 3.5mm headphone output to wireless transmitter…..wireless receiver to rca phono inputs on amp 2.1….not working...ideas?Thanks..!!...Bill Lutz

Play 5 works fine on app, and i can get sound over headphones, but no sound true speakers. I replace some bad cups but still no sound. Then i notice one of the IC has a hole in it, Does any one know what will be the replace part markings. I have marked on  pictures, there is a five of them and they are all the same type of IC. Thank you 

Hello,I have trouble with my sonos system in my restaurant.The volume is changing by its own ! most of time reducing, i have same issue with sonos radio and spotify.I have 3 era 300, 2 era 100 and one sonos one, connected on unifi wifi system (no wire connection).I have contact the support many times bu no solution.Have you any idea ?Regards

Connecting laptop pc as an audio source via 3.5mm out on laptop to y’d rca phono ins on sonos amp 2.1...no sound coming out of sonos amp 2.1 system...laptop headphone audio meter shows strong signal. What am I doing wrong?..Thanks so much…!!!! Bill

A few night ago, I was getting the odd message of music not encoded, now I can start play but 5 secs in, audio is lost, the music is still counting down, the audio will pop in intermittently and then stop again. Mixcloud is the main app I use on the 8 Sonos speakers I have around the house. Can you help? I've reauthorised, removed it, added it back in. 

As my introduction into the Sonos ecosystem, I’ve had my Era 100 stereo pair for 4 months now. Starting about 1 month ago I’ve been experiencing constant issues surrounding connecting to my Apple TV via Airplay. I use an Apple TV 4K which is connected via Ethernet directly to my router, and I use the Sonos Era 100 pair as my primary audio output. For reasons I have not been able to figure out, they no longer connect and I get the “Could not connect to Airplay” error on my Apple TV. I have both my Sonos Era 100 pair and Apple TV 4K fully up to date and non of my network settings have been changed ever.  IMPORTANT - I am still able to use my Sonos Era 100 via Airplay with my iPhone, say with Spotify or other services, this problem is limited to my Apple TV. 

I have a Ray together with a sub connected to my Sonos system and it is also connected to my TV. On one of my devices the small circle does not show up so controlling volume is not possible, however on another device it works. Have tried to restart the app in the phone but did not help

Hello, I have a question in real life scenario, I couldn't mount the era300s as recommended in my lounge.  Hi,Due to a new sofa, (missus not me) I couldn't use the speaker stands anymore . Even worse I had to mount them 1.4m for for headroom clearance using sonos swivel mounts and locked  So, they're pretty high, I still got 2.5m clearance to the ceiling. The new sofa is right up against the back wall, the era speakers have 12 inches clearance from side walls which I understand is a requirement too. . Of course advanced trueplay has been done, i think the speakers are now a bit to high, and now they're mounted on the wall (a freshly reskimmed wall) I'll never be able to move them again  without death from the missus. I found the sound not to be quite as immersive since I was forced remove the stands & wall mount the era300s, would a slight angle on the speakers help, or will my ears just adjust over time? Again the ashetics would look a bit daft with the era300s slightly angled.  T
