Why do you make it so hard?With two taps I should be able to change the input of a specific group of speakers. With three taps I should be able to add/remove speakers from a group.Instead I find myself using OTHER APPS to control media and absolutely ignoring the Sonos app because I can’t figure out how the [hell] it’s supposed to work. I’m paying a premium to buy your speakers and honestly using the hardware buttons over the software to control most aspects.  What speakers even is this group? How am I supposed to be able to change what speakers this input is connected to?? I’m having an issue with my headphones when using them with my Sonos setup. The headphones initially connect and play audio normally, but after switching between different audio sources, the headphone connection sometimes drops and the audio stops. Reconnecting the headphones usually brings the audio back, but the problem can happen again after another source change.A few things I’ve noticed:Headphones work normally when first connected. The problem appears after changing the audio source. Audio may stop even though the Sonos system still appears connected. Reconnecting the headphones usually restores playback. The issue is intermittent rather than happening every time. Other Sonos playback continues normally when the headphones disconnect.I’ve tried restarting the headphones and reconnecting them, but I’m still seeing the same behavior occasionally. I have a niche that measures as above; it’s a wooden built in media cabinet with TV mounting space that measures as above in the image (66 x 41) in inches. Claude says it will fit, but it is not exactly 4 inches below.  It says I can get up to 3 inches if I reduce the distance at the top. My question is, will this work appropriately? The Frame Pro TV is what I’m using, so it’s flush mount to the wall and shouldn’t interfere with the 4 inch protruding soundbar, but I don’t know enough to say yay or nay. Thanks for your help!

SUGGESTION:I just found an inconsistency between the mobile app and the web app that possibly needs attention, to be aligned. The new iOS app is great in that if you tap the volume slider, you get a + and - to allow you to increase and decrease the volume. BUT if you click the volume slider on the web app, it immediately jumps to where you clicked! I just clicked the slider, expecting to see a + and - like i get on my phone, but instead instantly turned the speaker up from 2 to 51 (which can’t be good for the speaker), and gave myself and my family a fright until I could turn it down again…!If improvements are being implemented on the iOS app, can that intuitiveness be carried over to the web app for consistency and ease of UX?

My wma files, are no longer playing any sound.I have check the bit rate and Khz of my files 192kbps and 44.1KHz, which conform to Sonos guidelines but still wont play.I think this has happened since the last update.Is any one else having this problem again, I know it was any issue a while back.  

I know this has bene suggested before, but I don’t recall this particular use case mentioned just yet.  This is not about setting up a PC to act as a Sonos room, or really to be able to play games or watches moves through your PC with Sonos speakers.  It’s more about being able to use Sonos in a home office more practically.A problem I run into whenever I need to work from home is that I can listen to Sonos speakers, but I must regularly pause the audio due to a Teams call, or some audio from the PC I need to listen to.  This is really the issue I wish to resolve.Ace headphones actually resolve this issue pretty well with bluetooth multipoint.  Ace can be connected to my phone to play music, and to the PC for Teams calls. It automatically switches as needed, and switches back when a teams call ends.  I would consider this for home use, but I would rather listen to speakers, and don’t need headphones/headset for teams while at home.  It would be ideal if speakers had some sort of multip

Hi community,I used to be able to play my whole music library through SONOS - however, this is no longer working and I cannot reconnect to the library - I get various error messages. I have tried the connection methods suggested online but to no avail.  Any ideas? 

Google Assistant timers on Beam are created and count down correctly but make no completion sound. Google Assistant alarms on the same Beam sound normally. Issue persists after removing and re-adding Google Assistant. Is there a bug? It was working fine until a few weeks ago, I haven’t touched any settings. 

All of a sudden my Sonos will no longer play WMA files from my WD NAS Drive.I can navigate to the folder/track etc.Song starts, i get approx 1 second audio and then nothing, track still shows as still playing.Leave it running i get sporadic audio for about a second every now and then.There is no changes to NAS, Router in terms of setup / config. Rebooted both, still the same.Have updated teh music library several times.Its the same fro all speakers, play 1, One, Roam, 300 etc.System quite happy to play FLAC Files, no change there.Any ideas, greatly appreciated.

I have a Sonos beam and a Sonos Arc. It's been pretty useless lately. Sure it plays music, and integrates with Sirius XM. But when I ask it things like what football games are playing today? Or what is the score of this particular football game? It just gives me answers from last year and then I asked what games are playing today and it says there are no games playing today. This used to work fine..

Subject: Arc Ultra mounted BELOW a 10-inch-deep fireplace mantel. How much sound quality will I lose?I’m building a custom media wall with a 65-inch TCL television, a Dimplex electric fireplace and a 10-inch-deep wooden mantel.I’m considering purchasing an Arc Ultra with a Sub 4. My preferred design is to wall-mount the Arc Ultra directly beneath the mantel, with the soundbar projecting approximately 4.5 inches from the finished wall.This would leave approximately 5.5 inches of mantel overhang beyond the front of the soundbar.I understand this would likely interfere with the upward-firing Dolby Atmos speakers, but my biggest priorities are dialogue clarity, music and overall sound quality. I also wear hearing aids and sometimes have difficulty understanding certain voices. I do not want to mount it on top of the mantel as my wife wants to use it for display items.My questions:If the upward-firing speakers are obstructed, will the Arc Ultra still provide better overall sound and dialogu

I’m unable to find my ikea symfonisk lamp in the app. I have updated my iOS on my phone, updated the app. Factory reset the lamp, and am able to find it, connect to it and update it, but it still doesn’t show up in the app or in my Spotify. Anyone got any tips? Have also tried connecting with Ethernet cable, but still unable to make it visible in the app 😫😫

I have a single Sonos One that, randomly stops reacting to volume adjustments from either the App or the Touch buttons on the speaker itself.  Re-powering the speaker works for a period of time but it fails again at some point.I have a boost which I have re-powered as well.  I have 13 devices in my system don’t seem to have issues with the others. Any ideas?

It is clear that Sonos will not be updating the controller to run on Apple silicon. That’s where we are. Using a web based app concerns me:Internet access is not universally good Privacy concerns and the value our choices of music etc have to Sonos to either use or sell on. Our “options” would be a zero sum game. Given that I am almost certainly not alone, there are folk who have third party apps that are more players than controllers, by which I mean many configuration aspects like adding speakers etc. aren’t an option. They just play stuff on Sonos hardware. So, where are we to go once Rosetta gets canned and using a web based app is either unattractive or technically unviable?  Recommendations please 🙂
