Hi, Do you know if Sonos will support Qobuz Connect ? The Qobuz app has some features that the Sonos  app does not… Thanks.

I got a restaurant in the gothic district of Barcelona (Spain) since 2010 and I’ve gradually introduced Sonos in the bar and the main restaurant seating area back into 2016, with Sonos 1 speakers and two years later I’ve added the subwoofer. Sound always good until they introduced their disastrous app 2 years ago. Hardware is perfect, it was just a major software F…. Up and the perfect case study for failed corporate PR. I always had to justify to my employees why I was keeping Sonos. Bit by bit they improved the performance but 2 days ago I’ve checked for an update (I do it manually) and updated. The next thing is that I had never experienced such a STELLAR change in sound quality and moreover, the definition, details and 3D sound. All this with (still) 2 Sonos 1, subwoofer paired with them and a third independent Sonos era 100 behind the bar. So those 3 units create an incredibly more immersive sound. I’m a complete novice and not technically gifted!  I have a Sonos Era 100 and Amazon Prime unlimited.  I can’t link the two so that the playlist on Amazon plays on Sonos.  Help please.  Thanks 

Fgured out a weird bug with Alexa and Sonos: If using Alexa, you can group sonos speakers together, and using the correct setting in Alexa, saying “Alexa play music” will play on the correct group of speakers without having to name them. This feature is broken using Alexa+, and Alexa defaults to playing music on the Echo device. VERY annoying. Anyone figure out a solve? 

The "sound height" adjustment does not work on Tidal, unlike on Apple Music.

Will try to be as descriptive as possible without being confusing.  Need a little help and/or explanation.  In a vacation home I had 1 pair of Era 100, 1 pair of One SL, a Beam and mini sub.  I currently upgraded the vacation home to 1 pair of Fives, 1 pair of Era 300, the Arc Ultra and Gen 4 sub.  I kept the pairs of Era 100 and One SL in the vacation home and put them in 2 different rooms and have them set up and they are working.  I posted the question about speaker placement about a month ago but I haven’t had the chance to finish setting up everything else yet.  I ended up taking the Beam and the mini sub from the vacation home to my permanent home to use in the basement.  At my permanent home I use the Sonos S1 app while in the vacation home I use the Sonos app.  My question is, since the beam and mini sub were setup on the Sonos app can I set up them up for use in the basement on the Sonos app using my home network?  And by doing so will I screw up anything with on the Sonos S1

I wanted to gauge from the community as to whether or not people are experiencing bad sound quality through their arc ultra speakers as I have had two units and both have produced a slightly distorted/fuzzy sound specifically from the right side of the speaker. I don’t know if it’s bad luck or not but wanted to check with others to see if they’re also experiencing this and what they did to fix it? My arc ultra is connected to my Samsung tv through the eARC port with the cable provided and use my Apple TV 4K Gen 1 to watch content. The fuzzy noise is present when watching any kind of media through the Apple TV as well as when I’m streaming music through the Sonos app and even when adding the product to my system through the chime it plays as well as during the trueplay tuning. I have even changed the settings on the Samsung tv such that sound is output via pass through rather than automaticAny help would be much appreciated, I will try get the product replaced but wanted to see if this

Sonos peeps - can interested parties (of which there are many) get an update or timeline on when we can expect Sonos to add the option to see song lyrics in the app? I don’t like having to cheat on Sonos and use other apps to see lyrics when I channel my inner best singer ever fantasy!  Many thanks!

I have an Arc Ultra and 2 Era 300. What I want to do is 1) to get the home theatre setup, having the Era’s as surrounds - this is easy to do - and also 2) use the Era’s 300 as a stereo pair, using my turntable connected to one Era via line-in. This works easily, but it seems I cannot have options 1 and 2 configured through the app? If I configure the Era’s as surrounds, then it seems I lose the line-in for the turntable, and the stereo pair. I can’t understand this Sonos limitation (or perhaps I’m too clumsy?)

New Sky 500 max router, old ish Sonos one. All ok until i needed to connect to latest WIFI.It connects when wired no problem but will not work wireless. I have tried many times. Factory resets etc etc. I am not especially tech savvy but usually get by. Not this time. Tried Iphone and Samsung phones.

Hi AllI am converting a small single bedroom into a dedicated movie watching room and was hoping for some advice as to what would be the optimum setup for the room.TV Size - 65"Viewing distance - 2.0m (6' 6")Room width (minimum) - 2.4m (7' 11")Room width (maximum) - 2.7m (8' 10")Ceiling height - 2.4m (7' 11")Room length - 3.8m (12' 6")I am happy to spend the money on the setup below, but I was wondering if the small size of the room would make it massive overkill:Arc UltraSub Mini2 x Era 300Setup would be as per the image below.So I guess my question is, will I be able to see the full benefits of the Arc Ultra and Era 300s over a Beam Gen 2 and Era 100s in a room this size, or will the very small volume of the room mean that they won't have enough space to work to their full potential?I should also add that I'd happily upgrade to a Sub 4 (or 2 x Sub Minis) if that would be a big improvement, but am assuming that the small size of the room would make that unnecessary?Thanks  

Hi, Valued Community.I’ve connected my Technics 1210 to an Eros 100. This is by a phono cable to a usb-c via my preampHowever when I check for playback options in my sonos app everything is greyed out.. Please help, Thanks  

Question: How do I keep my line-in audio source playing to the entire house while flipping a record instead of having it disconnect from the Sonos group? I recently switched my turntable (AT-LP60XBT) from a Bluetooth connection to a line-in connection. (After adding a couple more speakers around the house the BT connection was starting to fail and drop speakers off, I assume due to the delay.)(With the line in 3.5 to USB-C)When I start a record, the music automatically comes out of my era 100 fine. I then go in the app and select the rest of the house, which plays fine. Almost 100% of the time, when the record stops and needs to be flipped, the audio reverts back to only the Era 100 that the line in is plugged into. This is complicated by the fact that in the app, the line in is still connected to the entire house (5 speakers) and does not update. So then I force quit the app to reset it, and when first opened, the app seems to come alive and connect to my system fine but does not show

Hi, Valued Community.If I connect my Technics 1210 deck to an Eros speaker will I then be able to play to stream  to my other Sonos speakers in the house e.g. my Play 5’s and Play 3’s via the Sonos app?Thanks!! 

I spent $2500 on a system that I deeply regret because of the app. The speakers aren’t the problem, it’s the app. Now I have system for sale on Marketplace for a 1/3 of what I paid and absolutely no interest. And why isn’t app an option in the subject drop down menu?I would not recommend.

The app seems to be getting progressively worse. I’ve now got the following issues. Alarm didn’t go off today Tried and failed to play music to the relevant speaker  if trying to interact with app, I need to close and restart as many as 4 times before it properly loads Can’t play music to several speakers  Almost impossible to play everywhere - always fails  My WiFi is good around the house is there an update coming any time soon to fix all of this? Terrible experience for a system so dependent on the app, especially if you have lots of devices.  Graeme 

Why won’t my Play:1 and Play:3 connect after a short power cut? I have factory reset both products and also reset the S2 app…all to no avail. I cannot reconnect the Play speakers and this has been over a week now, but somehow my Beam seems miraculously immune to any issues whatsoever and has remained constantly connected! You couldn’t make it up. Why is Sonos so clunky and difficult to use? Has anyone had a similar issue or maybe help with any advice?

Why is voice control unable to play podcasts from integrated services? Just curious. 

HiI have Sonos since around 2017. Since two weeks I have a new computer with Windows 11 and now I am unable to use the Sonos Music Library on the Windows App (Sonos Controller for PC). Error messages:Sonos was unable to add the music folder. Please check that the path to the folder, and the username and password if needed, are correct. Reason: Access to the shared folder "\\XY" is denied.or"\\XY" is no longer available. The device where the music files are stored may not be powered on, or the path may have changed.What I would like to achieve is to incorporate two folders in my Sonos Music Library (as was before):C:\Music\01-MusicC:\Music\02-MusicNewThe folders are 121 GB and 210 GB in size respectively and shared with a dedicated local Windows user account (no microsoft online account).I am able to access the paths via UNC (e.g. \\MyComputer\01-Music) in Windows Explorer locally as well as from a different computer in the network.The cable-based network is set to private. It has been mentioned a lot already but wanted to make a thread solely to say that all the remedies and work around offered by Sonos and Google do not work. My Sonos Move used to work flawlessly with Google Assistant. Recently it stopped allowing certain functionality like adding to shopping lists or find my phone stating that I had to set up voice match. The problem lies in that within my Google Home app, specifically the voice match setting, the Sonos speaker isn't found, even though it is part of my home and can be used for everything else. Then, 3 days ago, Spotify completely stopped working with Google Assistant and my Sonos. I can no longer control my music using voice controls, the speaker tells me "Sorry I can't do that on this device" I have unlinked and uninstalled all three apps (Sonos, Google Home and Spotify) re linked them and updated them multiple times. The Sonos speaker still isn't showing in the Google Assistant voice match setting so not allowing me to get personalis

Forbindelsen til DR LYD blev afbrudt.” Jeg modtager også somme tider fejlen “ Kan ikke afspille DR P3. Den er ikke kodet korrekt”  det virker derimod fint i TuneIn Player.  hvad går galt her? Er det DR der har problemer med appen eller er det Sonos der skal rette noget?  på forhånd tak.  

Hello,  I dont see any reason why the other Topic was closed. Refering to I will not accept the fact that this is just closed to say “Just put it in same VLAN”. This is far more like a F*** O*** statement towards your customers. The previous models, were pretty fine working, untill the ERA has been released. How hard is it to listen also to your customers who wants to secure their enviroment and put things in different VLANS?  If this is not being fixed in the coming months, our stores in the Netherlands (35+), will not be onboarded with SONOS setups. To be honest, I still want this to get to work, but if this will stay like this, there is no other choice to see other brands. This is not a threat or a warning, just the facts.  Hope that someone from SONOS reads this actually.

Hey everyone! 👋 As some of you may have noticed earlier this week, Spotify lossless is now available oncompatible Sonos devices.First, you need to enable lossless in the Spotify app. You can read how to do that here on Spotify's own page. Once that is done, connect to a Sonos speaker and activate lossless by adjusting the audio quality, once you are connected to a speaker that will enable it, as seen in the GIF below.   You now have lossless on Sonos! Keep in mind, as shown in the GIF, you will have to skip to the next song before lossless is enabled.Note: This setting is system wide. Once you have enabled it on one Sonos speaker, the rest will have lossless enabled as well. Enjoy, and let us know what you think! Mike H Quick note since a few people asked. As long as your speakers are running the latests software version Spotify lossless is supported. If they are on S1, then it sadly isn't supported.🎃 = M
