I open the app on Windows desktop. It says:“We need to get Sonos running on the latest software. Choose Check for Updates to get started.”I click Check For Updates. It says:“No update required. Your Sonos system is up to date.”I click Done.But then it goes back to “We need to get Sonos running on the latest software.”I click More Options. I click “Continue using the Sonos App.”It says “Some of your products aren’t registered to your Sonos account. Let’s register them now so you can use them.”I click Register Your Products. I have to sign in, I do.It says “No update required. Your Sonos system is up to date.”I click Done.I’m back at “Some of your products aren’t registered...” Now there isn’t any option to continue. Ok, so it’s stuck in a loop here. I close the app. I open the app again. It takes a minute, but it opens normally. Mind you, the system was playing music the whole time. This is only affecting the app. The kicker? Always when I change volume of tv by my tv remote control it appears text on tv: "the volume of the sound is constant" + warning sign.  It is just annoying 

hi everyone, i just upgraded my tv and unplugged my 2013 playbar. it was working perfectly before, but now that i've plugged it back in, there's no power.the only sign of life is a split-second flash of the three ethernet lights when i plug the cable into the back; after that, it goes completely dead. i’ve already ruled out the outlets and cables by testing them with other devices—the issue is definitely the bar itself.is this a known hardware failure, or is there a trick to bringing it back to life? thanks in advance!

Have seen numerous comments on setting up a record player but need to add a receiver to the mix for signal boost. I have Kenwood KD-3070 turntable with RCA jacks and a Onkyo TX-SV444 receiver with many input/output ports. See pictures. I am guessing I connect the turntable to receiver (RCA) then receiver to ? to connect to my SONOS 100 speakers. Looking for guidance please with clear non-audiophile description. what connects to what description. I would assume that the connection from the new SONOS device would connect to SONOS speakers via WiFi? Thank You very much for input. 

As of a couple days ago I can no longer connect to PLEX.   I get“Something went wrong. Try Again” when click on artists from my favoritesand“No content items available” when clicking on Plex iconI can cast to my sonos speakers from the Plex app (not plexamp) on my computer.If gone through all the suggested steps I could find from the internet.  I guess my question is to see if anyone else is experiencing it or if it's just me (and for how long).  If its everyone, then hopefully its (another) screw up and they’ll get around to fixing it eventually. super frustrating that something that has worked for years just stopped working especially when its the reason I went with Sonos.

Hi guys! I’m currently using 2 Era 100s paired with one another and 1 Play:1.I recently resubscribed to Tidal for its music quality, assuming that it would work seamlessly. To my surprise, I couldn’t seem to find Tidal in the list of music services on the Sonos platform. How to make this work?

I want to stream my husband’s music library (ripped CDs) to our Sonos Ray.  I do not want the PC on all the time.  I don’t want it in the cloud. I tried the USB flash drive but apparently misread my router capabilities.  I would like a good basic NAS that will stream a minimum of 28 GB of music to the Sonos Ray.  It must be turn key.  I have someone who will help me with set up if I run into difficulties, but I do not have the knowledge to build my own.  And I don’t have the patience to learn.  I was looking at the Synology Beestation but am seeing indications that it’s not a “true” NAS and might not be what I need.  Looking at a Linkstation but truly was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a good basic NAS for this purpose.  Many thanks.

Dear Sonos team,I love my 7 of my 9 Sonos speakers. Please help me love my Era 300s.I recently upgraded my surround setup with the Arc ultra and two Era 300s. I did this for two reasons:1 I wanted a better home cinema experience with Dolby Atmos. This is working great.  2 I wanted a better music listening experience. This was what convinced my wife that we should get the era 300s, and she is less than happy (I am sad also).The Era 300s are marketed as premium surround speakers, but when setup as surrounds their main driver is turned off. This would make perfect sense if you could seamlessly switch to a stereo pair for music with the main driver on. Unfortunately, you have to completely reconfigure and re-Trueplay the system to switch between music or watching a movie. Please please Sonos team, could you answers the following questions:1 Will it be possible (with a future update) to save two different configurations including the Trueplay information so that we can seamlessly switch bet

I am unable to play my Spotify “liked” songs through the Sonos ap to my Sonos speakers. I can play all other Spotify features.  I saw other posts on this - with no real answer. Is this just a bug?  Is it because my liked songs list is 400+ or something else?  Thanks 

I thought all the Apple Music playback issues are resolved since the meltdown. But apparently not. New install of Beam Gen2, when playing back from Apple Music playlist, every 4th song or so it will loose the connection be quiet for 10s and then reconnect and pickup the rest of the song or skip to the next one. Quiet annoying.Beam is connected to very good Enterprise WiFi network, and the TV it’s connected to has no network issues.Is this a latency issue, since I’m not US based? Maybe device trying to use US cloud back-end needlessly? Or something else that isn’t well engineered.Quit disappointed.

I have the latest version of the Sonos 1 Controller app running on my iMac Monterey version 12.7.6 with two Play 5 gen 1 speakers. The app cannot find the speakers although when going through the connection procedure it says “The Sonos app is now connected to your speakers”

I tried to find my exact issue but couldn't.I’m running a Samsung 4K TV, AppleTV 4k (1st gen), Sonos Beam 1 via arc hdmiMy main goal is to be able to adjust volume on the Beam with one of the remotes when the TV is off.  I’ve tried all options of IR/RF learning both TV and Apple TV remotes. Nothing is working.Currently when watching thru AppleTV the remote adjusts the Beam volume fine. Likewise when watching just the television alone (appleTV off) the Samsung remote adjusts the Beam fine. What I’d like to achieve is one of those remotes controlling the volume of the Beam while the TV is off and I’m just listening to the music, etc.I’d like to not have to open my phone for simple volume adjustments so please don't suggest. I currently use “Hey Sonos” which I find tedious as its idea of lower/higher volume is all over the place. I tend to have to throw multiple commands and volume numbers to get it right. I wanted to share this in case someone else runs into the same frustrating issue I did: TV: TCL P7K QLED Google TV (2025 model) Soundbar: Sonos Playbar (2015) Connection: Optical cable (no HDMI ARC) Remote: TCL stock remote (IR + Bluetooth hybrid) 🧨 The Problem:The Sonos S1 app wouldn’t complete remote pairing. Sometimes it would recognize the first Volume + press, sometimes not. If it did, it would fail on Volume - and say “volume control with optical is not supported” (which is nonsense — Playbar is designed for IR+optical). Disabling HDMI-CEC on the TV didn’t help. IR confirmed working via phone camera. Bluetooth turned off didn’t work. Factory reset on the bar made no difference. Universal remote wouldn't pair either (even though it had worked with the Playbar before). ✅ What Finally Worked:After all else failed, we just started mashing the requested buttons repeatedly during setup like we were speed-running a boss fight in a video game.Literally just kept pressing V

Hello, I was wondering if it’s possible to play sound through the Sonos Arc and the Sonos Ace at the same time. My friend likes louder sound so he’d like to listen using the headphones while I would listen using the soundbar.

Jeg har to Sonos one højtalere og en Sonos beam, koblet sammen med dem for at skabe surround sound. Dette virkede fint, indtil jeg købte et nyt Samsung fjernsyn, til at erstatte mit gamle Samsung med. Nu når jeg ser TV, så sker det indimellem at lyden bliver skruet 90%ned i ca 10sekunder og så vender den tilbage til normalen igen af sig selv. Hvis jeg piller Sonos beam stikket fra, så sker det ikke. Så hvad kan jeg gøre🤔? 

I recently Bought a used Sonos playbar on Facebook marketplace and am unable to connect to my PC. I bought optical to HDMI converter and the app doesn't seem to recognize it. I checked the cable and tried others ones regarding the optical and HDMI. I also provided the converter link I’m currently using down below. I also want to note that there is no light coming out of the optical when plugged into the play bar. It seems to be normal because I was able to get my hands a on another playbar and it did the same thing. So now I have no idea what the problem could be and would really appreciated some help on this. I have a Sonos One pair in my living room with GA installed and also a Nest speaker in my bedroom that has updated to Gemini. I use an iPhone 17PM. My entire house runs on google assistant.  Almost everything that can be plugged including all my lights, switches, LED’s curtains, climate, air filter, dishwasher and teapot.  GA was being really buggy so I thought I would reset the speakers and re-add the assistant. Bad Idea.  Obviously it was before I read anything on this forum about all the issues. I spent hours and hours working on it. I finally figured out that the only way I could re-enable GA was if the speaker pair had a new name, and they were in a new “room.” Once I got it installed, however, it refused to respond to “Hey Google.” Then I tried enabling the audio indicator which I always had tuned off and BAM, now everything is working mostly ok. It still often doesn’t work perfectly, but it’s working better than before. For almost 20 years, I have enjoyed the convenience and quality of a Sonos system.However I am now looking to play vinyl again  as I am now 65 and have a little time to properly savour the experience. I have a ATLP120USB deck purchased ten years ago for my wife to play her record collection and help her transfer her records to digital stoage. Unfortunately, she passed away before she was able to get much use out of it. I would like now to play her records (and a few of my own) giving as much audiophile justice as my 65-year-old ears will allow.Since I am so fully invested in the Sonos system, my initial plan was to play records using this deck with a FosiX2 preamp (bought to test signal path) and line in to Port or Sonos 5 speaker (as part of stereo pair.)The sound is good, but it doesn’t quite match up to my memory of the sound from my Rega Planar/NAD/Kef separates 40 years ago.So my questions areAm I fundamentally limited by the A2D conversion in Sonos? I have a solid HiFi system for my vinyl and CDs- NAD amp + Magnepans + RHLabs Sub but I am contemplating downsizing to getting a Sonos Port and running these audio sources through my Sonos system (Arc + Sub mini+ 2 Eras 100 surrounds). The audio sound space through the Sonos system (streaming) is so good that it is motivating me to downsize (and my wife would love to lose the gigantic Maggies from our living room). Would the best path be to get a Sonos Port and use the line outs from my NAD receiver to direct sources to the Port? Would I be able to direct a CD or TT source to my Sonos Arc+ Sub Mini+ Eras surrounds system? (I have an external Preamp for my TT). Thanks in advance.

Just unboxed an d the power cord will not stay connected. Seems to just fall out. 

Why is it not possible to see the battery left on the roam 2 on an android device when connected over bluetooth(without using the app or asking vc)? I feel like much cheaper speakers are able to do this, it shouldn’t be a problem.Also, it would be nice to have a battery health page, that shows the maximum available capacity compared to stock.Otherwise pretty satisfied.

We used to see album covers for our locally stored music library. I’ve been waiting for the Sonos app debacles to clear up. But it seems like there are still issues with album art showing up.  Some art/covers are shown, albeit slowly, after letting the app sit on the Music Library/Albums screen for awhile.  But not all.I should add, that in addition to that, on the Albums screen, I’m seeing quite a number of dupes. That is, the same album is listed multiple times.  I tap through and can verify that they are the exact same album just listed many times.Any information about that state of this?  I’ve done the “Scan for New Content” many times. That doesn’t seem to have any effect on either issue.
