Connecting YouTube video to AirPlay/Blutooth doesnt work anymore

I’ve upgrade my IPad Pro M4 to latest iPadOS 26. When trying to stream music from YouTube to Sonos system via AirPlay/Blutooth, it  get the message “Something went wrong. Tap to retry”. Tap but still doesn’t work. But if I switch back to iPad speaker, works just fine.

Force updates

Can someone point me to the statement with Sonos says they don’t force updates because without updating I can’t access my system to use any other functionality and updates are turned off if this is true that they don’t force updates. This is a miss representation and other actions need to be taken against Sonos

Sonos says I can not locate that. Please check your product names in Sonos app

So I checked the app and the speaker is listed. But the same is pretty much true for Alexa and Siri so why should I expect more from Sonos?

update to macOS Tahoe

Since the update to macOS Tahoe I have been unable to connect to the Mac Sonos app. I have re-installed the app but that has made no difference. I spoke with an agent on  Sonos chat and he said as the update had only just happened that might be the reason. I thought that’s why Apple released beta versions  so cos could sort out any problems prior to the general release. It’s working fine on my iphone that was updated at the same time

Starting to lose my patience with this now. I’ve had numerous phone calls and chats, read up on the site forums. Is it just me or does sonos and BT not work? I’ve tried disabling all security on all devices 🙄 Any help before I stick this lot on ebay and buy something that actually works? Is it me or the product? 😔

Sonos play 1 not able to connect woth wifi and failed all rest options

Sonos play 1 unable to connect with wifi and unable to factory reset and continuously showing white light and checked with Sonos support they said product failed to connect and out of warranty. You can replace with 30% discount coupon. This is so frustrating as no solution provided to me. seems like never buying Sonos products again in future. atleast they should give some repair alternates etc instead of dumping the product. is there anyone who faced this issue and have any solution?

Connect:Amp Gen 2 and Sub Gen 3

I have the possibility of purchasing a secondhand Sub Gen 3.  Will it work with my Connect:Amp Gen 2 through the S2 app?  Much searching online and I know that the Connect:Amp Gen 1 definitely will NOT work, but unclear whether the Gen 2 will.  Thank you for any assistance.

Why does the app not ever work?

I can never get my app to work with my group or network. I’ve factory reset several times and i can’t even play one effing song on the porch without having to spend 2 hours to fix it all. which, only lasts a day.  Friends, romans, countrymen… how the EFF did you let this happen to an app that worked every time.  You guys literally had one job. Play music out of my speaker(s). If I owned the company, I’d FIRE YOU ALL.

what do you use for outdoor?

Hi, I'm looking for an option for my garden.The options would be two Move 2s, or two Era 100s, which I know aren't meant for outdoors.I like the Sonos Outdoor by Sonance, but I'm not willing to pay that much for the amp.What other options do you see as viable for outdoors?

i have  sonos Play5 and the bridge no longer works so i am unable to connect to both my speakers.   Is there a replacement for the bridge that would allow me to use the app to play music again.

speakers lose station setting when powered down.

I have Era100 speakers used primarily to listen to radio. When you wake up the speaker it resumes playing the station last set to, however, if the power is disconnected (e.g. a power cut)  it loses this connection and one needs to reconnect to the required station via the app. This is not a big deal but is inconvenient. Is there any way to configure the system so that the speaker will automatically reconnect to the source (radio station) last connected to prior to the power being disconnected?

Hey everyone - the time has come! Starting today, you can use Sonos Voice Control with Hue lights and smart plugs. Just speak to your voice-capable Sonos speakers to turn lights on or off, adjust brightness, change colors, or set a scene. The integration is supported in English (en-US) and French (fr-FR). From my own personal testing, there are a few things to call out for awareness. First - you’ll start this process in the Hue app, not the Sonos app. Equally important - make sure you have both apps first. Clicking the “Sonos Voice Control” button in the Hue app won’t open the Sonos app unless it has already been downloaded to your device. Both apps will also need to be up-to-date to proceed, and both systems will need up-to-date firmware as well. If you happen to use multiple Sonos or Hue accounts (as I occasionally do), make sure to log in to the correct account in both apps first.  Setup ProcessAfter updating, open the Hue app and go to Settings > Smart home > click the plus s

I’ve read through other posts on this, but no solutions are provided. Sonos: Get this fixed! It’s really frustrating to not be able to lower volume down to comfortable background music level.

TV works perfectly with Sonos playbar. want a simple command for Alexa to share that signal with a 2nd Sonos speaker. Same as ticking the box on the Sonos app.

APP UX REQUEST: Volume control panel up until dismissed

I REEEAAALLLYYY want the volume panel that pops up from the bottom of the app to STAY UP until it’s dismissed by the user. Or at least have a longer timer. I have multiple speakers in one room that each need to be at a different volume level for the middle of the room to feel balanced (I use the room in different ways so I’m often adjusting). Just as I’ve tuned in to which adjustments I want to make, the panel drops down. Tapping on the volume slider again and then finding the speaker I need can sometimes cause me to forget what the adjustment was bc my brain switched gears. I repeat the process over again with more focus and speed. This causes an unnecessary and negative emotional response every single time I need to adjust my system— from mild annoyance to momentary rage (if I’m being honest). I don’t want to feel a sense of urgency changing the volume of my speakers 😕. Sometimes I adjust them manually and walk around more.     Having the short timer on the volume panel being up is

Is there a bug starting track radio within Sonos app?

Hi…here‘s something I found today on DE community. A User was reporting the following.(translation used)„While a track (Spotify) is running, I can no longer access Song Radio. Always comes: Connection to Spotify was disconnected????I then have to switch to the Spotify app, the title Search there and then start the song Radio. Then it works.But it's cumbersome and it used to work via the Sonos app 🤔“ I have carried out further tests and can now say with a high probability that it is probably a current bug of the Sonos function "Title Radio", which is implemented by some services.I tested it with Deezer and Spotify each via the current versions of the Sonos app for iOS and Android.Result with Sonos App on iOS:- Title Radio works with Spotify- Title Radio does not work with DeezerResult with Sonos App on Android:- Title Radio does not work with Spotify- Title Radio does not work with Deezer With Spotify on Android I get the same error message as the user mentioned above.With Deezer, Andr

When I try and use AirPlay to listen to music on my Sonos Beam Gen 1 it is now asking for an on-screen code from my Beam. There is no code or screen of course! Any suggestions?

new phone, new issue with spotify kicking off speakers back to phone

I just upgraded from a Galaxy S23 Ultra to a Galaxy Fold 7.And doing the same thing, i've always done to play music, which is to open the spotify app, click the speaker button to connect to my sonos and then play music through the spotify app. With this new phone after about ten minutes or so the sonos stops playing and the music kicks back to playing on the spotify app on the phone.I can reconnect it and then ten minutes later, it does the same thing. This last time after I reconnected it by clicking the speaker button in the spotify app I turned off wifi on my phone. Thinking somehow that might do something.. But it didn't, it ended up kicking back to the phone anyways.I have about a dozen sonos speakers on my network. But I usually only play 3 to 4 at a time, which was the case this time. I have an eero 6 pro wifi mesh setup.I don't know if this is a spotify issue or a sonos issue but I figured I would ask here first, thanks!
