Hey, I’m not sure when this update passed, but in the last two weeks the circle at the end of the sound  that you would grab is gone. Now it’s a thin line that seems extremely hard to grab. I almost never am able to change the volume on the first or second try.

Since installing the MacOS Golden Gate Beta, the Sonos app will not find the system.Firewall is off, so the only help in the Sonos app about that is of no effect.I know the app is vintage anyway, but has anyone worked out how to get out working?I know everyone will say use the web app, but it’s crap. I want the app and its native experience with notifications etc. 

I used Apple Music in the Sonos app this morning just fine. Tried to use it again this evening and got the dreaded “Something went wrong” message (seems this has been going on for years). I tried removing Apple Music and re-adding/re-authorizing, still not working. Any ideas out there?

Hello. I’ve scoured this forum for hours trying to find an answer with no luck so far, so here goes with my post looking for help please from all you clever people…I’ve tried lots of different SMB settings etc, but in the end regardless of those settings it simply comes down to if I add my Synology NAS shared music folder path using a Synology administrator account all my NAS music shows and it works fine.  If I repeat adding the same folder with read only (or read/write) standard user account credentials (what I want to do to tighten security), it tries to add (I can see the SMB3 connection request in the Synology log centre) but quickly throws a “can’t find path\folder anymore it might have moved…” box.Any ideas to configure the standard user account? - I know this starts to blur across to a Synology topic otherwise and the admin account might be bypassing something or has a deeper permission allowing it to work??I’m running S2 on my 8 speakers, the newest being an Arc.  Everything e

For several years I've been enjoying my Sonos system at home and my cottage. When going to the cottage, I pack my two Roams and oncr I set them up originally on my cottage wifi, they would  connect upon power up. Lately, the Roams are not found on the cottage wifi and I have had to factory reset them and set them up. Then I have to do the same when I return them home. This is getting tiresome and I think it should be easier than this. Any ideas?

Even with the launch of the new Amp Multi, there still does not appear to be a way to power my 7.1 surround system without also buying an amp from another company such as Denon.  Am I missing something?  Seems like an obvious gap.  Please ship an Amp with HDMI eARC and Dolby ATMOS surround decoding for 8 channels plus a sub.  The Amp Multi could have been great to target multiple use cases.

It’s a “conversation”.Occasionally the Sonos App may not behave as you like or maybe a feature is missing such as the volume slider for example. Rather than push the panic button here are a few things you might try that don’t involve unplugging all Sonos and/or rebooting your router. Incidentally, if rebooting your router is necessary it’s a good idea to unplug ALL Sonos before doing so. OK…getting back to my original premise about trouble shooting the Sonos app…Step 1_Check for updates and install if available:App Store (iOS) Play Store (Android)Step 2_If no updates are available:Stop the app on your device and restart it. That’s essentially a reboot which can resolve a multitude of issues.Step 3_If Step 2 doesn’t’ resolve the issue:Delete the app Reboot your device and join your Wi-Fi Reinstall the app from the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android). Hello,this has been an ongoing issue for sometime and I’ve tried numerous things to rectify it but I’m still unable to save any thing to my favorites list. Any Sonos radio stations, XM radio stations, TuneIn Radio stations, playlists from Spotify or any other music service etc. My favorites list appears empty and nothing is on it and every time I try to save something to it it says “something went wrong, try again”. You can see the screen shots attached as well. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app on numerous devices. I’ve tried a step-by-step ownership refresh by transferring the system to different email and resetting things. I have tried a web only account sync flush and that has not worked either.I am beyond frustrated and at this point cannot seem to figure out a solution. Any advice would be appreciated.  

The RP content service works but does not show playing track artwork. Just the generic logo for the main mix, for example.However, if I remove the service while still listening the artwork will show up and stay working until such time as I quit to listen to something else.Obviously I can’t then return to RP because the service isn’t installed. So, reinstall the service and the problem returns. It doesn’t matter whether I login (authorise) the RP service anonymously or use my RP login.This feels like a bug. Any tips? I raised a case with Sonos and sent diagnostics but no responses.Thanks all. I’m bored of this view… 

Hello all, I hope someone can help me.I noticed the other day that a few albums in my library had suddenly split into multiple albums. At first I thought there may have been an update that had changed the way certain albums were tagged. I did some rudimentary checks on the album tags (I use Tag & Rename) but couldn't see any issues. However on further examination I noticed that the multiple of the albums had the same track in them see images below.Multiple of one album.Only one track (The same track) showing in both albumsYou can see that a look into the folder for this album shows 11 tracks. View into the folder for albumDoing a re-scan of the library does not fix the issue. But I have found that by adding a new album to my library fixes the issue after a re-scan. However I have noticed that adding a new album can correct one problem but then suddenly another suddenly is inflicted with the same issue.So I am very confused as why adding one album can suddenly cause this issue with

I’ve just replaced the soundbar in our RV with my Beam Gen but am having problems with the sound dropping out intermittently.  The TV that came with the RV isn’t great and too small anyway, so I’m thinking to just replace it rather than try to troubleshoot.What capabilities should I be looking for when researching a new TV so the Beam works properly.  I will not have WiFi so I cannot use the app.

I have multiple users on my system. Sonos says to log in to get the full experience.   Does another user need to set up their own account then log in on the app which is connected to my system or do the need to use my login credentials?

Hi,I currently have a great setup of an original Sonos Arc with a Sub Gen 2 and 2 x Sonos ones at the rear….would I be better upgrading to the Arc ultra or 2 x Era 300’s at the back??? Thanks 

Has anyone fiddled with the Apple Shortcuts automations for Sonos?  I created an automation to play every Sonos Room.  I know I could have just said “Hey Sonos. Play Everywhere”, but using that option plays the Rooms at whatever volume they were last set at.  The beauty using the Apple Shortcuts app is you can preset a volume for each room.  Unfortunately when I looked at what music can be played the choices were only radio stations in the Favorites list.  Has anyone been able to access Sonos Playlists as well as Radio stations?

Sometimes my Sonos App loses my Arc Ultra and I have to use the option inside the app to re-find my hardware.There is a button inside my Sonos app which cites the name of my home WiFi network and prompts me to look for Sonos hardware on the aforementioned home WiFi network.The search successfully identifies my Arc Ultra and goes through the reconnection process. OK, fine so far. But the problem which eventuates is that the Sonos App asks me to check to see that the < and > touch buttons on my Arc Ultra are flashing and for me to press them.Unfortunately neither button flashes and it is completely unresponsive to any physical contact. So basically my Sonos is disabled. The only workaround I’ve found is to do a full factory reset and setup the Arc Ultra from scratch. This setup process works because it does not ask me to check the < and > buttons are flashing and touch them: it uses a chime to detect the Arc Ultra and then completes the setup process from there. Can Sonos ple

Sometimes when turning the LG OLED TV I need to go to the TV setting and select a different sound setting, then return and select Optical Cable in order for Playbar1 to work. This happens even though the settings of the TV initially when powered on are recognizing the Optical Cable setting. why does this sometimes happen?

System update was run (version 86.8-7820) in sonos app S2, after the update, my two play3 speakers (stereo mode) lost base and now these are sounding like ordinary speakers. Sonos has not kept any provision in their S2 app to rollback to earlier version (version before the update). Please suggest if it is possible to restore earlier version by any other means.

I can't add Imported Playlists to the queue in the Android app from my Music Library.  This was working previously in the Android app.  Doing the same Imported Playlist in the Windows version of Sonos app is working without issue so it is not an issue with the Playlist.The Android app can see the tracks in the playlist, but if I click on the play or shuffle icon it just spins away doing nothing. If I try to add or replace the queue with the tracks from the playlist it just spins.If I click on the three dots next to.the track and select Play Now, the track plays.This is broken for even Imported Playlists with 1 track.Is this a known issue that's been broken in a recent app update? I have searched but can't see anything about imported playlists broken on Android recently.Android App Version:  83.01.9

Hi All, I am currently in the middle of an extension build, the end result will be open plan dining, then kitchen and an additional seating area at the end, this space is roughly 4.8m x 11m, 3m ceilings... I would like to incorporate speakers for music, and then TV/Movies and PS5 around the seating area. I like the sonos for simplicity and expanding at some point into the garden for summer BBQs.I was thinking either 1) Arc Ultra alone OR 2) Beam2, a sub mini and 2 x ERA 100s on the back wall (either side of the art on the picture) at the tv area, and a ERA 100 at the other end between the dining and kitchen for filling the area when only listening to music.We are at a point of electrics in the build, now I am thinking do I need 2 x 100s wall mounted at either side of the sofa for rear surround? My concern is that I obviously don't have the room to sit them behind the seating area, so will they be too much 'in your ear' for surround sound AND also if your lazying on the sofa listening t
