I just got a Sonos Ace and I’m trying to use it with my DAC but the supplied 3.5mm cable is too short. Any of you find a third party usb-c to 3.5mm cable that works with the Ace? Or even a usb-c to 3.5mm dongle/adapter that work with the Ace? I’ve tried two different third party usb-c to 3.5mm cables and doesn’t seem to work. Thank you
Spotted last night on TV, wearing Ace for podcast, noise cancelling Andy Burpham?
Hi everyone,I’m looking for some advice.I own a Sonos Ace beta unit that I received as part of the Sonos beta testing program. The headphones are currently running firmware 3.11.0. In the Sonos app, it appears to detect that an update is available, but when I try to proceed, I immediately get the message:“No update available.”So I’m stuck on firmware 3.11.0 and I’m unable to install the newer version.I’ve already tried:Restarting the headphones. Restarting the Sonos app. Checking from different devices.Has anyone else experienced this issue, especially with beta testing units? Is there a way to move the headphones from the beta firmware channel to the public release, or does Sonos Support need to intervene? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
I’m using a google pixel phone, the 9 pro xl to be specific, and i recently bought the sonos ace headphones. The headphones are nice spec wise however i was disappointed to see that the only Bluetooth codec i can use for wireless listening is SBC. I understand they support Aptx but google phones DO NOT support Aptx. I think its lame that I’m stuck with the most inefficient codec with such cool headphones simply because of the chip my phone uses. With Bluetooth 5.4 onboard it more than meets the requirements to add LE audio support and LC3. Aura-cast would be nice too for good measure but I’d love to see an update for LC3 support at the very least. Do you guys think this is possible to expect in an update?
I am thinking about buying Ace but as I understand it the home theatre must be on wifi? I have my soundbar hardwired with ethernet, so does that mean Ace won’t work for listening to TV through Sonos Ace?
Hi, I think to buy a sonos ace. But someone could confirm to me please that it is compatible with sonos beam 1 ?Thanks in advance.Best regards
Ace swap back feature not holding last volume. Have to go use phone to set volume back to where it was before swapping. Using feature control on headphones is reason i bought the ace headphones!!! And also find it annoying to have to turn down the ray when I switch back Whats up sonos?????
The phone calls on ACE are not so great, i’m coming from a Jabra which were better with the boom. Im hoping there is a small usbc boom mic i could use into the ACE, similar to https://www.sennheiser-hearing.com/en-CA/p/hd-500-bam/cmfl7c8rilqh007umr1do6wyc/
I cannot listen to music with Sonos App as the source (e.g. Sonos Radio). Whenever I use Sonos Ace I only get to hear TV Audio. Why is that? It is connected to Bluetooth..
About to purchase arc ultra for its ability to offer clear voice and purchase wireless headphones as well- wondering if the two products could work together meaning that I have the headphones on listening to tv show so I can hear the vocals better but everyone else in the room can listen to the arc ultra? Or is it only one or the other? Listen to the tv show with the headphones or the arc?
is it possible to use a Sonos ACE connected to an ARC Ultra;hearing through the ACE but still having the Utra working (sounding the film)?
Hi, I just bought the ace , sound is ok but I didn’t found the same whaou effect that I had with my Apple air pod pro2 Tested on Deezer with Bluetooth the sound seems ( for me ) low Even at 70% for now I’m pretty disapointed For music I use Deezer and vinyle on my AMP 2X125W and beam gen2 I look at the EVERSOLO DAC Z8 and his headphone amp , if I used my ace on the jack input will I have louder sond ?and a better sound with Deezer FLAC is 16/44 thanks
My Sonos ace headphones have stopped playing audio. I turned them on today and no audio has been played from them. When I put them on there is no chime and using any application on my iPhone there is no audio. The headphones still connect, but simply don’t work. I have factory tested them and restarted my phone as well. Nothing has worked.
Moderator edit:Google Translate-Hi, I've noticed that whenever I'm not playing music, videos, or anything with sound, my phone starts disconnecting and reconnecting constantly. It happens the second I'm not listening to something, and I'm getting a little tired of this happening. Can anyone give me a solution, or is my product defective?
Hi all,I searched the forum for this but all the relevant threads were closed, so that’s why this new thread. With Sonos Ace it’s possible to listen to the tv through a compatible sound bar. I own the Beam (gen 1) so that shouldn’t be a problem. My question: will it be possible to listen to music through the Beam? Is it technically so different listening to the tv through the Beam than it is listening to music? Usually I listen to my library through 2 Play3’s en 1 Beam.My music library is on a Synology NAS
I’m a fan of CNET and have been for years. I think their reviews of tech are honest and straight forward. One common use case for me is using my headphones while cycling to the office - a rather challenging task for noise isolation headphones.Coming from a pair of Bose QC 45 to Sonos Ace, I miss a lot the wind rejection noise isolation feature (marketed as “Commute” by Bose), so I would like to kindly request this feature for Sonos’ headphones too. From a technical point of view, I don’t really think it’s that hard to at least create a proof-of-concept, as the wind has usually known frequencies.
Community consensus: Impossible or difficulty to connect bluetooth headphones to SonosGoogle AI: Yes you can - if you have a ‘bluetooth transmitter’ - but Sonos devices are receivers onlySonos App: ‘Add headphone’ → steps a b and cMe: Sonos App procedure doesn’t work. But isn’t my phone or computer a ‘bluetooth transmitter’?So what is going on ? Can I or can’t I use bluetooth headphones?
Wird es irgendwann Ohrpolster aus Stoff geben für die Sonos Ace? Moderator Edit: Google Translate- Will there ever be fabric ear pads for the Sonos Ace?
I have trouble understanding dialog in movies. I would like to use the new Ace headphones while my wife listens through the sound bar. Is it possible to use both at the same time?
Kann ich einen Kopfhörer in mein Sonos System einbinden und damit den Ton aus dem Fernseher parallel hören?
Will there be an update to make the volume louder while using TV SWAP on the Sonos Ace? It’s incredibly low compared to other headphones available. Please make adjustments .
So i have been using sonos ace since a week now! Here are few things i found (issues, suggestions etc)- the bass is not bassy enough! Its subtle.. music has quality but the mids and lows are muffled!- we really need a 5 point level tuning ! These aren't the sonos wifi speakers to just give bass and treble control... these are the pricy headphones which have a lot of potential and sonos team are limiting it enough to frustrate us!- the headphones doesn't charge with super fast anker chargers not sure why! They do charge with 20watt apple bricks and dont with the qc chargers this needs a fix... atleast let us know if this can be fixed or not!- power button press to start must be responsive but they designed it to feel like a lag.- transparency mode is just wow.- spotify and yt music feels like s*** on android, apple music is soo dope on the same android.- the quality of the hardware is just excellent at the airpods max level excellence, but its the software thats dooming this product. I can’t believe Sonos Have suckered me again. From all the descriptions on the shop website I believed Ace headphones would connect to my Sonos network. I have now discovered that they are no more than Bluetooth headphones. I cannot access my music library which was the whole reason I bought them for. I have spent three hours this afternoon speaking to support Only to find the advisor, knew virtually nothing about the headphones and had to be told by a colleague eventually that it was impossible to connect. Do not buy this product if you think it has anything to do with the Sonos home system.
