Ace swap back feature not holding last volume. Have to go use phone to set volume  back to where it was before swapping. Using feature control on headphones is reason i bought the ace headphones!!! And also find it annoying to have to turn down the ray when I switch back

Whats up sonos?????

This is a community forum, very few Sonos employees are here. Your best bet would be to call Sonos Support to discuss it.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

I noticed that the Ace headphones swap-back volume does not always hold. I recommend contacting Sonos Support so they can check my setup and give a solution specific to my system.

There is a setting in the app, since it is set at some point initially.

In the app, with headphone swap already active, hold down the yellow "swap back” button to get a pop up menu to set the volume. The app should retain the setting.

Alternatively, you could always un-pair your Ace and set that volume where you want when prompted during initial set up and use.

Confirming this is a reproducible issue after all.

For what it's worth, I contacted Sonos support today and reported this as a bug, hopefully it gets passed to the engineer team.
