Some of my Sonos speakers don’t show volume sliders in the app and it’s driving me crazy. Audio plays fine and grouping works, but I can’t control volume for some of my speakers. It always ends up that one volume slider remains, while the rest disappear. And this on al my devices, they even show the same volume sliders grayed out.What I’ve already tried: All speakers are on the same 5GHz network, same AP Disabled AP isolation, client isolation - no change Turned off WiFi band steering - no change Played with IGMP snooping settings on my switches - still broken No multicast rate limiting configured Speakers have static IPs assigned Wireshark shows that all speakers are communicating, on both IGMP and SSDP. Even the ones that don’t show the volume sliders. The only thing that works is restarting my router, but even then the problem always returns. Hello!Just bought Arc Ultra and hit a problem, probably, with a broken speaker, producing crackling sound at a certain frequencies on the right side. I've asked Sonos Support and they have, after a long conversation, escalated the issue higher to some technical team. It's been more than two weeks now, and I still got no response, however I have contacted support several times, they never were able to say when that technical team will contact me.The product is quite new, I should have 30 days free return warranty - maybe I should request returning the product instead of hoping on sonos support to do a warranty case?I have a case number, but cannot do anything to check its status. Kind of a weird situation, especially considering that the product already came defective to me.What should I do?The Arc Ultra was bought as a part of a TV bundle with two era 100s, they work fine. Will I be able to return just Arc alone?Any help is appreciated,Best regards,Alexey.

Please integrate Sonos with Samsung SmartThings locally.

I have been with sonos from the inception, I loved and recommend it to countless people. I have a huge setup with mixed generations. But I'm having the worst sonos experience for the last 5 months on my android phone (Samsung Galaxy ultra s25). Hoping the issues will be fixed but I'm losing hope. The basic shit like I can't find devices in the app, it keep asking to register the new device, searching for devices every time I open the app... Driving me nuts, the whole concept of sonos to me is quality of music at the touch of a button. It's been a nightmare, is anyone else having these issues?I'm ready to give up at this point!

How do I connect a Sonos 3 speaker to a Brennan B2?

My TV sound (through a DAC converter) shows in my Sonos system as a source (Line-in), and when pressed it does show a signal (signal symbol fluctuates), but no sound comes. This has worked in the past but has stopped working some time ago. I have tried a lot (swap optical cable, power resets, adjust settings in app) but nothing works. When removed the Line-In source disappears so it is evident that it is correctly connected. Any tips??

Hello,I have started to plan my speaker setup for my living room. Instead of a TV I am gonna have a projector since there is the perfect wall for it. I don’t own any Sonos products yet so I don’t know their limitations and so on.Problem is that the projector is gonna be about 3 meters up in the ceiling 6 meters away from a wall. I don’t want to pull any cables from my projector and all the way to the soundbar (if I’m gonna have a soundbar) so I’ve been thinking about using a Sonos AMP instead with HDMI ARC.If it turns out that I would like to use a soundbar, can I use the Projector and connect it to the Sonos Amp and wirelessly play on the soundbar? Or could I create my own 5.1 system using Eras?Or… Is there a better way to do this. At one point I had an idea about using the Ray as a connection point for multiple Eras but that seems to be hard to make it work since it’s designed to be a master? or am I missing something. I hope someone can shed some light on this matter.Thank you,Bende

Hey everyone I recently upgraded my mini to Gemini and Sonos has been playing completely different song when I play it through google miniMy set up is Sonos 1 + google mini + Gemini.I will ask mini " Hey google play A song" and Google mini will respond with " Playing A song on this sonos" but what is playing on sonos is completely different song that i asked. I have tried rebooting mini and sonos . I have removed and readdded YT music and nothing works . It happens  on ALL my sonos controlled by google mini. This ONLY happens after i upgraded to Geminiis anyone having the same issue or find any solution ?Thanks 

I have a fairly unique use case and I’m having trouble finding the right solution. Application: A mobile (portable) campervan setup, audio will be transmitted mostly via Airplay 2/Bluetooth from a portable projector and the content will majority be streamed TV shows with compressed audio. Van is appromately 150sf in it’s entirety but speaker would be placed directly in front of viewers, mounted at ear level and at about a 4’ distance away. Viewing will all be indoors. Goal: A portable, easy to setup/take down, speaker(s) that can do a decent job presenting dialogue and a decent cinema experience when necessary.I realize there aren’t any single (or at worse 2) speakers that are going to reproduce anything close to a home theatre experience so I’m going for the best I can get.Speakers I’ve looked at;Sonos Beam Gen 2Sonos Move 2Sonos Era 300Sonos FiveSonos Era 100 (pair) I’ve only heard in person the Beam Gen 2 which is decent but it’s pretty long so it is a bit hard to store and needs a

Hi all. Recently my Move 2 takes about 90 secs for trueplay to kick in and it seems to be drastically altering the sound everytime it kicks in subsequently after this. I know it has active trueplay however the speaker is in the same location and will go significantly louder everytime it trueplays. Anyone else having this issue? It never used to do it and was perfect before.I have not done a factory reset as yet ThanksAdey

Dear Sonos developers As many of your Sonos users are now elderly, but your app on IOS is far too complicated for those users. I am having to always fix my elderly parents speakers and if your suggestion is use voice control you don’t understand the older generation. Either create a widget or shortcut just to play their chosen radio station or make an option in your app for a simple screen hiding all those unnecessary functions away, like Uber app does. Think out of the box for the needs of the older generations, which is a growing user base and please make your app available for all, not just youngsters!!!

recently purchased an Arc and replaced my beam. Everything states the same by using physical Ethernet to connect all devices. However, after I set up the surround sound, I noticed those rear Sonos ones behind me getting cutting sound. Hi, I have Gen 2, sub mini and 2 era 100s. all working perfectly. I have in principle from ‘she’ permission to have ceiling speakers but I’ve read that I cannot add ceiling speakers to my system. is this correct? 

We have had Sonos speakers for several years, but we keep losing connectivity and have to reset everything. We have a Google mesh system throughout the house, so WiFi is not the issue. We are ready to throw it all out, it’s a horrible experience. How do we fix this?

I have arc ultra and two new ERA 300s. Sound is amazing for music from Spotify, but extremely low volume with DirectV. Very frustrating.

Please please please add the ability to schedule night mode and enhanced speech mode on my Sonos. This request has been made so many times I can't believe Sonos has not implemented this yet.  If this is too hard to build into your app then please build a native integration with Slmartthings that allows me to set a routine to do the same.

Hello, Just bought a Sonos Arc and found out that one of the streaming services on my Android TV provides home theater sound in AAC 5.1. After fiddling with the setup and looking on the Internet, I found that Sonos does not support AAC 5.1, and it is downmixed to PCM 2.0. Some questions:1-  Are there any suggestions how to get AC3 to Sonos Arc? I’m now using an Android player capable of software transcoding AAC 5.1 to AC3, but it’s not an ideal solution. Maybe there are hardware transcoders capable of the task? Or a system-level utility for Android? Or maybe some TVs are capable of such transcoding? The only one that was suggested up to now is to use Nvidia Shield, which is told to be capable of transcoding everything to AC3. Surely something else can then do it as well?2- What is the reason for Sonos to not support this format? Is there a chance we would get support at a later stage? Thank you in advance!

I have changed nothing, have always been able to control volume on arc ultra through my nvidia shield remote and tv remote now after update i can only adjust it from the app when I use the other remotes I get the white light like usual on the soundbar but nothing changes, I hope this bug or issue gets solved quickly as it's annoying to go into the app everytime especially when youtube has a different volume than everything else and I have to adjust a lot

Hi,I have a facility with 5 Sonos Ports. each in different floor. each Port connected to dedicated Amp and speakers.All Ports reside on the same network (VLAN)the need is to be able to make the 1st Port determine the music that would be played through the rest 4 Port devices.Is that possible to do through using the Port devices only?thanks 

Hi,I’ve seen this question has been asked couple of times but didn’t find any answer which would resolve the issue.My current setup is quite old Sony Bravia KD55XD8005 with ARC port, Sky Q 2TB UHD box and Arc Ultra.Sometimes when I change channels on Sky or starting a movie, sound would drop and I need to switch back, or hit pause/resume, or unplug/plug HDMI cable to get the sound back.I notice this happens when audio output is changing as some channels are with Dolby Digital 5.1, some are Dolby Digital 2.0 and most movies are Dolby Atmos. I’ve been speaking and Sonos support and they suggest to replace both HDMI cables (from Sky to TV and from TV to Arc Ultra) but I don’t think this is the issue because I’m using original cables and as I said, it only happens when audio output is changing.It's also worth mentioning that I had same setup with Sonos Arc (before upgrading to Arc Ultra) and didn’t have any issues with it. So I’m thinking it’s something to do with Arc Ultra rather than cab

Just received the Sonos “Immersive Set with Beam” couldn’t wait to get it up and running. I’m in my 70s so please reply slowly…. Over the years I’ve had several systems that always allowed me to set a baseline volume level for each speaker in a surround sound configuration. I spent about 4 hours this afternoon on the Sonos App and no such luck.  I remember reading a blog about placing each ERA100 in its own room and going that route, with that, I was able to set the volume of each speaker but not able to save it when done.  Was hoping for the ability to save those settings that would stay proportional increased or decreased the grouping volume.  I though perhaps the “Zone” function would do that but didn’t have any luck.  Any help would be appreciated.
