Hi there, I have a Sonos setup with the arc, two subwoofers, and the amp which is outputting to two Sonos ceiling speakers/surrounds.  Recently I decided to buy a record player (audio technica lp120) and was hoping to use the line in ports on the amp to connect it to my system. What I’ve found is that when the amp is being used to control surround speakers it cannot function as a line in supply at the same time?  I was initially able to overcome this by creating a second home speaker group, with only the amp (and the other had the arc and subs) and could output the signal from the record player to play on all of the speakers - but then the surround speakers don’t function properly when I go back to use my tv (and I also lose volume function of the surround speakers with my tv) is there an fairly inexpensive or easy way to overcome this?  My thoughts are to get a Sonos connect to output the signal from the record player to the system?  The AI support for Sonos suggests me buying another

I am trying to connect a stereo pair of Sonos era 100 to rega turntable with rega pre amp and Sonos line in cable. When I play as pair sound coming from non line in speaker only. Can have them playing together as a group but not stereo pair.  Sonos technical team not yet been able to resolve.  Have tried changing both to 2.4ghz. Unpair then repair. Tried changing autoplay, delay, factory reset.  Line in showing as right speaker, have read this may be issue and needs to show as left, cannot change this setting though.  Anyone got any new ideas? 

Just moved into brand new apartment. Started by having my 65 inch TV hung. I've purchased the sonos arc ultra, then added 2- 300's for surround sound, and finally a mini sub.At times - from the start it was perfect, and I could get it to work perfectly. But mainly through my phone, not the TV remote.Spoke with sonos support was told the internet was an issue. However I have excellent reception of internet and speed. It's worked many, many, times and failed just a few. However, now after the phone call and the testing, I can't get anything but the ultra. Excuse me, arc ultra to connect to the T. V please, can anybody help with any suggestions ideas? I'm wide open as I'm a new user. And I know I have a lot to learn. Thank you so much.

Ive tried adding bbc sounds to my system. But it doesn't even show on the app as a service i can add. I've added my address to the account to let it know im in the UK. Can someone give me a step by step guide ideally with screen grabs cos im completely stuck. I must be missing something.

Hi there, first post for me…I have a Sonos system (several ones, arc, sub, move, roam, connect) all playing in harmony!  The connect is connected to a CXN100 via coax digital out/in and I had some audio lag issues which I sorted by changing a setting (I can’t remember which one but it fixed the lag issue).I’ve now added a DAC Magic external DAC between by CXN100 and my amp.  I now have a horrible lag again and I cannot find a setting to fix it.just to be clear - I’ve got Connect > Streamer > DAC > Amp all connected by coax.  Before I introduced the DAC I had no problem but now I do!  There are no delay settings on the streamer or the DAC but I know I can do something with the connect to fix it but I can’t figure it out!please help!  Thanks

How come there is no Accuradio album art on the Sonos app?  It shows on the Windows controller so I know the artwork exists.Any ideas?John 

Hello everyone,I'm having trouble setting up my remote control with my new Sonos Ray.My TV model is TCL NXTFrame 55A300W- I disabled Bluetooth on the remote control, so it now only works in IR mode.- I connected the Sonos Ray to the TV using an optical cable.- I configured the sound output to optical only.- The remote control learning function does not work on the Sonos app.- I tried hiding the receiver on the TV, but that didn't help.- I tried moving the remote closer or further away.- I tried quickly pressing the + button, but that didn't change anything.Has anyone else had success with this type of TV/remote?Thank you in advance for your help. 

 A few times when I try to reply to a post the Send button fails to work.  Usually when, during the writing process, the attempt to add bold characters fails I can count on the Send button also failing to work.  Why is this?

Hi everyone,I’m experiencing an annoying rattling noise with my Sonos Sub Gen 2. The issue happens mostly during movies, especially in low frequency scenes with deep bass. It is less noticeable with music, but still present at times.What I’ve already tried: Factory reset Trueplay tuning multiple times Moving the Sub to different locations in the room Switching connection from WiFi to Ethernet (currently wired) The rattling still occurs regardless of placement or connection method.Has anyone experienced something similar with a Gen 2? Did it turn out to be a hardware issue or was there a specific fix?

Hi all — looking for guidance from anyone running Sonos with multiple WiFi access points (non-mesh).Here’s my setup:Verizon Fios router (main router) in basement Additional ethernet wired WiFi access points throughout the house (not mesh, just APs) - first and second floor of home Sonos Arc + Sub + (2) play 1s in basement.  Different generations I believe, not exactly sure which. (2) Amps on first floor hard speaker wired to outdoor speakersIssue #1 –  Struggling to get my sub and basement settup The Sub factory resets properly (blinking green), connects to WiFi during setup, but then fails with:“There was a problem checking for updates”Error Code: 1,106The Arc is fully online and stable in the Sonos app, but the room shows:“Needs Attention”“Product – Not Connected”I’ve:• Power cycled everything• Factory reset the Sub Issue #2 – Spotify Zones Randomly Appear/Disappear in apps Separately (and this has been happening for ~6 months):Sometimes my Sonos rooms show up in Spotify Connect.  So

I have a suggestion for great balanced sound when listening to music and it would be helpful when listening to TV as well. I normally sit on a sofa along the back wall facing the Arc Ultra on the front wall, with two Era 300’s just behind the sofa along the left and right walls, and two subwoofers behind each sofa arranged in an L pattern. I prefer to sit on either end of the sofa with the armrest which is closest to one of the surround speakers.The surround audio tv and music levels are set to -15 to try to get sound away from the surrounds and towards the Arc. All I cannot hear is music from either the left or right Era 300, which overpowers the Arc Ultra. I hear nothing from the Arc Ultra unless I get up and walk towards the front of the room. The solution would be to put a graphic joystick in the Sonos app, which would allow you to balance the sound anywhere in the room relative to where you are sitting. Hi everyone,I’m currently enjoying my TV setup with the following configuration:Sonos Arc + 2× Era 100 + Sub Mini.Lately I’ve been thinking about upgrading my system to take fuller advantage of Dolby Atmos, so I’m planning to purchase two Era 300 speakers in the near future.However, it feels a bit wasteful to let my two Era 100 speakers go unused once I add the Era 300s, since they’re still excellent speakers.So I’d really appreciate some advice from the community.If I end up with the following setup:Sonos Arc + 2× Era 100 + 2× Era 300 + Sub Miniwhat would be the most appropriate way to place them in a room? Has anyone tried integrating both Era 100 and Era 300 in the same home theater environment?Alternatively, would it make more sense to skip the Era 300 purchase and upgrade the Arc to the Arc Ultra instead?I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences.Thank you so much!

Play5 gen1 will not connect to wifi.All fixes attempted.Plays without issue when connected to router by ethernet cable .Cuts out when connected to wifi extender by ethernet cable.

Since the update to macOS Tahoe I have been unable to connect to the Mac Sonos app. I have re-installed the app but that has made no difference. I spoke with an agent on  Sonos chat and he said as the update had only just happened that might be the reason. I thought that’s why Apple released beta versions  so cos could sort out any problems prior to the general release. It’s working fine on my iphone that was updated at the same time

Have had Sonos running happily for months with all Sonos devices in my IoT VLAN and my android mobile in the Trusted VLAN. All worked perfectly with mDNS and inter VLAN blocking firewall rules.Upgraded Sonos speakers to 93.1-74010 and Android app to 82.00.45 this week and now having issues. Opening the Android app finds my Sonos system and allows normal control. However, let the app sit for a while or go into the background, when you return to the app it reports no products found. Kill the app and reopen, system is found again and the pattern repeats.I don’t think it is a Unifi issue as the system is found and be controlled successfully on initially loading the app?Any help appreciated. 

I’ve been facing issues contacting my Sonos devices and getting them stay on my Wi-Fi network, tried factory reset, app refresh , changing ownership too ( to a separate account) . The app connects and drops as it pleases. The issue may be with my router config. I travel frequently and carry my speakers , so the networks change . Presently in Japan, using a tp link 841 router , all my other devices work just fine it’s just Sonos that’s such a pain🤬

Hi, I have a Sonos Beam soundbar right now and want to buy Sonos speakers for the rest of my apartment. I plan to therefore buy two Sonos Era 100 speakers. But will I be able to sync the sound with these speakers with the Sonos beam?

I have 3 amps. When I move them downstairs beside the wifi the app fails to see them. When they are in the living room the app sees them. When they are in the basement the eventually have a solid white led. Any ideas?

Our house music system is a combination of Play 1 and 3 (generation that works with current app I think 2).We’d like to add a turntable as cheaply as possible without sacrificing music quality, probably secondhand from eBay. What would you suggest? My partner has bidding on Play 5 Gen 2 but these get quite expensive even used. Will other Sonos components connect to a turntable?The other aspect is I’m finding fewer apps are connecting directly to the Sonos system, I have to play via the Sonos app. Which is the cheapest/oldest speaker/component that connects to Airplay? 

Arc won’t unmute after Apple TV remote mutes the volume 

I rename it over and over, yet it always reverts. I rename it in the system settings for that speaker under the old name to the new name. Looks OK for awhile.Then...THE HORROR! It’s back! Again and again and again and again and again.God have mercy on my soul.
