Hi everyone, I’m looking for advice from other Sonos users experiencing Apple Music playback issues, particularly with IKEA SYMFONISK speakers. My setup: 6 IKEA SYMFONISK speakers in total. 2 SYMFONISK Bookshelf speakers configured as a stereo pair. 3 SYMFONISK Table Lamp speakers: one standalone speaker and two configured as a stereo pair. One Bookshelf speaker is connected via Ethernet. The remaining speakers are connected wirelessly through SonosNet. The issue: When playing music through the native Apple Music integration in the Sonos app, the SYMFONISK Table Lamp speakers occasionally become completely silent, while playback continues normally in the app. Interestingly, the two Bookshelf speakers continue playing without interruptions. Spotify and internet radio also seem to work without the same problems. I initially thought switching to SonosNet would solve the issue. After connecting one Bookshelf speaker via Ethernet, playback seemed more stable for a while. However, after test

Hi everyone! I have seven Sonos Era speakers spread across different rooms in my restaurant, and the speakers in some rooms keep losing their connection. As far as I understand, the newer Era models don’t support the Sonos mesh network where you connect one speaker via Ethernet and the others connect through it, so I need a reliable Wi-Fi setup to keep everything running smoothly. Can anyone recommend a good router or Wi-Fi system for this kind of setup?Has anyone used multiple Sonos speakers in a restaurant or a similar space? I’d love to hear about your experience and what has worked well for you. Thanks in advance!

Hi. For the last couple of weeks - maybe since release 97.2-81220? - the chime when the Sonos voice assistant recognises and actions my request is SO LOUD! It used to be a quiet little confirmation tone, but now it’s waking the dead. The volume of the assistant’s voice, and my music, remains low.Has anyone else encountered this? Do you know how to resolve it? This is on an original Sonos Move.It has made using voice commands generally uncomfortable and actually unacceptable early in the morning or when other people are around. Thanks!

BC no longer changes the clocks twice a year. We are now on permanent daylight savings time. Today was the day we usually roll back the clocks one hour, but no longer do. Well, apparently Sonos hasn’t gotten the memo, as my alarm was one hour late. My iphone recognizes the new Pacific Time zone, and shows the correct time, as well as set off it’s alarm correctly (thank goodness).According to the support AI, the Sonos mobile app is supposed to use the time of the mobile device, but this is clearly not true. Otherwise, it would have sounded the alarm at the correct time. So, is Sonos going to fix this anytime soon?

Hi I'm thinking of using my Sonos speakers in my bedroom to replace an old stereo / Wiim Mini combo. In order to do that I need the alarm functionality. Playing around it just now, I'm unable to set my "Wake Up" Deezer playlist to be the music. I can select the generic Deezer playlists but not my own.Any ideas on how I could overcome this?

I can successfully add Plex as a service to my sonos app. When I try to search Plex from within the Sonos app I just get a message saying “No content items available”. I have added and readded the Plex service countless times and nothing. Is there a fix for this please?

Hey, all! I have a Sonos One SL and use it mainly to play through my phone on Spotify, it’s flawless. When I try to use it as a speaker while watching a film on my iMac (M4, 2024) though, it other doesn’t play sound at all or it’s extremely choppy and barely understandable. My WiFi is fairly strong, around 45-50Mbps, I’ve had this issue since purchasing the speaker 4 years ago and I thought that the numerous MacOS updates will solve it, especially AirPlay2, but nothing so far. Am I the only one? For context, I also use Boom Audio 2 on my iMac but I try switching it off and it doesn’t solve the problem. It happens on iPlayer, Apple TV, YouTube, every app really.  Thanks in advance!Zak

Is there a way to adjust the group delay on the Sonos Connect S1s? I have 2 Polk Soundbars and they echo because there's no delay option on either of them (dumb of Polk).

Hi, I'm not able to connect apple music at all to my sonos amp from my android device. Whenever i try following all the steps I get the message below. Any one have any experience with this?

This phenomenon just started about a month ago. When I start playing a Sonos created playlist, in the play que, I used to be able to move tracks within the que. Now I get an error that says unable to move track. I have uninstalled and re installed the app. Was told I had too many songs saved in playlists > 65k. That was never true, but I deleted many playlists. I have < 5k songs in all playlists. I am on the beta version of the Sonos app but have been on it for over a year. Any suggestions?

Since updating my iPhone and iPad to OIS 27.2, i have to start te sound manualy in the Sonos app by pressing “play”. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, checked all settings and the lin-in input, but i guess this is another Sonos problem when Apple makes on of their updates?Anyone else who has the same or simular probllems?I love my Sonos products, but the software issues is beginning to byg me. Lots. I have my TV and record player connected to Era 100 in our smal living room and it has worked out great for a small room. But everytime Apple makes a major update, new problems with the Sonos app appears. This cant be a situation Sonos can live with? Or want to add to their name?

Hi everyone,I’m planning a whole-home audio system and I’m trying to work out whether Sonos can do exactly what I want before committing to the installation. My plan is to have six indoor Sonos Amps, each powering four in-ceiling speakers in a different room, plus a garden bar audio zone using a Sonos Port connected to a Denon AVR.I’ll have an Alexa Echo in each room for voice control. Ideally, I want to be able to say things like:“Alexa, shuffle my music inside the flat” — plays through all six indoor Sonos Amp zones. “Alexa, play my playlist throughout the entire flat” — plays through all six indoor zones plus the garden bar. “Alexa, play music in the bathroom” — plays through the bathroom’s ceiling speakers. The main thing I’m trying to achieve is switching between these groups entirely by voice, without needing to open the Sonos app every time.My questions are:Can Alexa target Sonos Amps as playback devices while the Echo devices act as the microphones for voice commands? Can the sa

Hi folks,I have 25 components around our home and we have SVC active on all with the capability.  I’ve noticed recently that system is mistakenly hearing/responding to random words in TV or Movie.  Is this a common issue?   We  also recently added Hue lighting and the system doesn’t respond well at all to those commands.

Has anyone experienced Sonos voice control starting music while watching TV? This has happened several times, and I can’t quite figure out how or why this is happening.

Hi,Since update 85.00.31 (Android) of the app, content from Pocket Casts service is not shown in playlists containing it. Here is the playlist list from my system. The playlist Podkassos currently contains only podcast episodes from the same podcast. The picture generated for the playlist is correctly using the pictures from the episodes.Playlist list When I look at the content of that playlist, the message says there is no content. No content shown in the sonos app The same content shown in the alternative app noson correctly show the content of the playlist.playlist not empty in noson The playlist can be enqueued and played. The queued list correctly shows the episodes.Visible in the queued list If I add a track from my library to the queue list, sonos only displays it while noson correctly displays everything.only the track not from Pocket Casts visible in sonosEverything visible in noson I had the opportunity to test the app version 85.00.31 on my android and on an iphone on another

Over the last couple of weeks, my speakers have all stopped responding to Alexa commands.if I ask Alexa to play Capital radio, the response from Alexa is that she will now play the said station but not actually play it.If I ask Alexa to play “ Luke Combs on my Spotify” the response is that it will now play said requested song and nothing happens.Even asking to STOP playing the music results in it still playing……….utter sh#te……Anyone else having this issue? This issue has never never been a problem before. Has there been a recent system update?

Something has clearly changed in the Amazon Music → Sonos integration in the past 2 months, and it’s breaking the way many of us use Sonos.I have multiple Amazon Music playlists with 500+ songs. For years, Sonos handled them without any issue: Sonos S1 loaded full playlists. Sonos S2 loaded full playlists. The Sonos Windows app could load all 500+ tracks, even when mobile apps had limits. Now, suddenly: S1 loads only 300 tracks. S2 loads only 225 tracks. Anything beyond that simply disappears from the queue. The Windows app no longer bypasses the limit. This is not an Amazon Music problem — the playlists are complete and playable everywhere except Sonos. It’s not a device problem — it happens across S1, S2, and Windows. It’s not a user error — I’ve tested multiple playlists, multiple accounts, multiple devices.I’ve contacted Amazon support. No solution. I’ve tried third‑party apps. No solution. I’ve searched the forum. Only scattered complaints, but clearly the issue is new a
