Hi,I have Unifi Dream Machine. I referenced the following and it said I can have everything wired and make it work. However, It seems like when I have everything wired (and turned off wifi) the surrounds + subs get lost --still connected to the network but doesn’t output any sound. Has anyone run into similar issues? When i asked AI app it mentions that home theater has a private masked network running on 5GHz, so I cannot disable wifi (arc won’t be able to talk to other speakers). But Unifi doesn’t support STP on a per port basis (only globally) so it didn’t seem to work either.  Has anyone gotten it to work?    

I have a Xgimi Horizon 20pro projector, Sonos playbar, Ugreen wireless extender transmitter & receiver (CM506), Ugreen audio splitter HDMI to optical spdif convertor (CM677). As I don't want to run a long optical cable across the 5 meter floor, how do I set this up to wirelessly connect horizon 20pro to Sonos playbar? My projector doesn't seems to detect any device from HDMI ARC. Able to advise?

Hi. I have a Play 5 Gen 1. I actually have over a dozen Sonos speakers. They are great sounding speakers. My older Play 5 powers up and communicates with the system, but outputs no audio. I’ve done a factory reset and re-added it, but no luck. I’m an electrical engineer and can repair/replace PCBs. I hate to throw a great sounding device in the trash that can be repaired. I don’t need an upgrade discount to replace it. I just want to repair it if possible.

I have two Sonos Era 100 speakers setup as a dual channel. I like to use them as speakers for my computer, and when I connect to them, it won’t play from my computer. I will need to disconnect and reconnect them, but even that doesn’t work all the time.I’ve figured out another solution, but it’s also not perfect. I will need to begin playing something through the Sonos app, and begin to play audio on my computer, and I will repeatedly need to start and stop the video/music, or move the volume up and down, and then sometimes it will shift to my computer audio. They are connected as two separate speakers, but through Sonos they get recognized as a L/R pair. Even when it does work through this, if I don’t keep a continuous stream of audio coming from my computer, it will stop connecting to my computer. I like to use Discord on my computer, but if I don’t keep a video/music on in the background, it will continue to cut in and out.  Is there a simple solution that I am missing? The speakers

Hello, a couple days ago my Sonos Beam stopped outputting sound from my Hisense Roku TV. Nothing has changed as far as I’m aware, but the TV does not recognize it as an audio output source. The TV doesn’t detect it when I look for CEC devices, and the soundbar doesn’t detect that it is connected to a TV. The Beam is connected to my TV via eARC, I have tried three different HDMI cables with no results. I’ve factory reset both devices and tried everything else I can think of, nothing works. Please help! I don’t want to have to get a new tv or soundbar. 

I have a sonos sub and sonor ultra with Sony TV , but the performance is soo poor, especially the sound. Any suggestions

In my front room, I run the TV audio through a Fire Cube. I have two Sonos Amps connected by HDMI-eArc.  One of the Amps powers a pair of front L/R main speakers and the second Sonos Amp is connected to a pair of in-ceiling rear speakers.I have used this setup with no issues for over a year now until recently I started having issues with the Fire Cube losing internet connection sporadially.  To test whether or not it was the Fire Cube or if it was something else, I swapped out a different Fire Cube from my Master Bedroom (MBR).I took the Fire Cube from my MBR and connected it to my front room TV.  Everything works fine, the sound comes on through my Sonos Amps EXCEPT now I am not able to control the volume of the Sonos Amps using the little Fire Cube remote.  The volume is adjustable through the Sonos ap, but that is not ideal.Is there some setting on the Fire Cube that I need to adjust so that I can adjust the Sonos Amps volume using the Fire Cube’s remote?

Does anyone else have this problem?I have the MyTuner service installed.  It shows stations from all over the world, but as far as I can tell, it absolutely refuses to play anything from outside my own country (I’m in the UK).  When I try, the play icon changes momentarily to a “stop” icon, then changes back.  Sometimes I get a “Couldn’t play content” error, sometimes not.I know there have been problems with geofencing stations in the past, but the stations I have tried are certainly streamable in the UK, even using the MyTuner app on other platforms such as iOS or Android, or via the MyTuner website.  So it’s not that MyTuner can’t play them, it’s something about the implementation on Sonos that is different.  And as I said, it affects everything apart from UK stations.Any ideas?Thanks

Hi,I’m planning on a ceiling mount for the amp, where the amp would be upside down and there is nothing in amp manual that specifically either allows or prohibits that orientation. The amp would be screwed onto a metal plate about 50mm wide and 250mm long which in turn would be screwed to joists in the ceiling. Would that create a problem with ventilation, if so would it need to be spaced off the ceiling to allow airflow, or would I have to construct a U shaped bracket to mount the right way up and how much gap between the top of the amp and the ceiling - looking at pictures of the rack mount I would imagine ½ inch would be more than adequate

I’m using Roam2 and I have an Amazon Music Unlimited subscription. I want to use it, but when I try to sign in, I’m redirected to the “amazon.com” page and cannot complete the registration. This is because my subscription was made through “amazon.co.jp” in Japan.If anyone knows how to register it in Japan, please let me know how to proceed. 

Hey, I've got two Era 100s as surround speakers, a Sonos Beam Gen 2, and a Sub Mini. I was wondering if anyone could suggest good EQ, surround audio, and sub audio settings for a nice cinematic experience with a balanced sound. Appreciate it very much.

Will the new Sonos Ace Ultra headphone be just another room in the S2 app? Or does it require one of the compatible Sonos products?

I’m new to Sonos and am looking to setup my workshop with a Sonos system that will give smooth and immersive sound throughout.  I’m thinking potentially four Era 100 speakers in the corners at about 10’ high and either another pair of 100’s or a pair of 300’s in the middle firing towards the center. The workshop is 50’x80’ with 16’ walls and 27’ peaked open ceiling.  Walls are insulated metal panels so will likely have high reflectivity, but the space has relatively low to moderate slap echo.  One of the short sides is drywall with fully OSB sheeting behind and full rockwool insulation, which might explain some reduction in echo.I’d like to be able to start with a pair or four speakers and then add to them to spread expense.  I figure I’ll eventually have to add a subwoofer as well at some point.  Not having any experience with Sonos, I’m open to suggestions about what to purchase and use in such an application.  I ordered two Era 100SL speakers to start, but could always return them i

I have an older system (2013).  Set up using a bridge and connect.  I have two play 3 speakers and one Play 1 speaker set up with the system.  I also currently connect my receiver to the system and use the speakers on that to play in one room.recently we have started having some issues with the system cutting out, so I updated both the Sonos1 app and installed and updated the Sonos 2 app.  Now things are really wonky!the Sonos 1 app says that both my Sonos Play 1 and 3 speakers are incompatible.  But the bridge and connect work fine with the receiver.the Sonos 2 app says the bridge and connect need updating (which the system hasn’t been able to execute on 3 efforts) .  But the Play 1 and 3 speakers connect fine.I am thinking I need to reconfigure this system.  Would like to do the following using the Sonos 2 app:keep the Play 1 and 3 speakersadd some Sonos in wall speakersremove the receiver set up.to do this to I get rid of the Connect and Bridge?  How do I clean  this up and have one

I’ve been playing around trying to diagnose a weird issue with my Roam. About 6-9 months ago, I started randomly getting issue with the Roam going into deep sleep mode and not waking up with the app or using a magic packet for Wake-on-LAN. I’ve been playing around with a few things and it seems to be related to the charge state. I keep my Roam in the bathroom most of the time and charge it from a USB power bank every few days. I’ve noticed that when the Roam has been charged from the power bank, it no longer responds through the app. I believe there is an ‘on-charge’ state flag being set that gets confused when the power bank goes to sleep after it’s completed its charge. This wasn’t an issue for the first two years I owned the device, so I believe it’s been introduced in a recent firmware. I’ve checked both the app and firmware for my device and I’m up to date. When the Roam is attached to the wall, it wakes up as expected, or if I disconnect from the power bank while it is on, it wak

Let me give you some details:PC is a Windows 10I also use the desktop app to add my library and play music to my system.I added the Music path; albums and songs get indexed and are found under “Library”...but when I play from deskstop app, songs are not found.From my IOS app, I CAN play the music that was indexed from my Music folder to my sonos system!How can i get it to work from my desktop again??

The ungoing rear speakers dilemma My Era 300s are fantastic as rear surrounds with my Arc and Sub. They’re also fantastic as a stereo pair for music. But moving between those two setups means removing them as surrounds, creating a stereo pair, running Trueplay again, and then reversing the whole process when I want my home theater back.I’ve just read about Sonos Fabric and its Positioning Technology, and my first thought was: could this finally be the answer?Sonos says compatible speakers will be able to recognize where they’ve been placed and change roles automatically. A Move 2 or Sonos Play can become a rear surround when it’s moved into position, without the owner having to rebuild the system manually.I know this hasn’t been announced for the Era 300, and I understand the technical details may be different. But if Sonos is now building speakers that can change roles depending on how they’re being used, this feels like the perfect opportunity to revisit the Era 300.What I’d love is

Something has clearly changed in the Amazon Music → Sonos integration in the past 2 months, and it’s breaking the way many of us use Sonos.I have multiple Amazon Music playlists with 500+ songs. For years, Sonos handled them without any issue: Sonos S1 loaded full playlists. Sonos S2 loaded full playlists. The Sonos Windows app could load all 500+ tracks, even when mobile apps had limits. Now, suddenly: S1 loads only 300 tracks. S2 loads only 225 tracks. Anything beyond that simply disappears from the queue. The Windows app no longer bypasses the limit. This is not an Amazon Music problem — the playlists are complete and playable everywhere except Sonos. It’s not a device problem — it happens across S1, S2, and Windows. It’s not a user error — I’ve tested multiple playlists, multiple accounts, multiple devices.I’ve contacted Amazon support. No solution. I’ve tried third‑party apps. No solution. Hi, Another update, another problem.  Not sure where the issue lies, but within the Desktop app today, I noticed that my playlists didn’t display all tracks (around 450).  I opened Amazon’s Music app, and matched it to around 220 showing in Sonos.“ah well”, I thought, “I’ll just use the Android app instead”.  Same in there too…I see the service status for the Amazon service is green, so ‘all good’ apparently, hence the ask. Is this a new known issue introduced?  Is there an ETA on a fix for this? Thanks

Tidal suddenly stopped connecting to Sonos on me. It was working perfectly a couple of hours ago.What's happening:I'd left a playlist on repeat before heading out, expecting to come home to music still playing. Instead, playback had stopped — so whatever broke, it broke while the music was actively playing, not from some idle timeout. Now, trying to reauthorize Tidal in the Sonos app gives me a network error. I removed the Tidal service entirely and tried to re-add it — same network error, on two separate devices (phone and computer).What I've already ruled out:Not a Tidal account/subscription issue — Tidal works fine everywhere else: streaming through Chrome, no problem, and works perfectly through Tidal in my car. Not a general network issue — other services like TuneIn are working fine on Sonos, no changes made to my router or network setup before this started.So it really looks like it's the Sonos↔Tidal connection itself that's broken, not my account or my network. I’ve read through the website, and it still looks like that the new headphones can’t share audio (ie connecting 2 sets of headphones to 1 device). We use this all the time, so I was really hoping the updated headphones would support it. However, it looks like this still isn’t the case. Is this correct? If so, it looks like I will have to stick to other brands still
