What can be wrong with my speakers and pairing?  They will not pair with my TV. I’ve been able to pair with my phone but not my TV.  It was working fine then we had problems with the TV and Xfinity reset the TV.  I have gone through the process of re-pairing with the WiFi, turning off each speaker and resetting.  Nothing seems to be working.  What am I doing wrong?  

Hi everyone,Hoping someone can help me figure this out, because I’m honestly running out of ideas.I’m writing from Austria, and have been a loyal Sonos customer for years without ever experiencing anything like this.Currently on my third Arc Ultra (Sonos replaced my original Arc Ultra, and then replaced the replacement unit 🙂) and all three have had the same type of distortion/crackling from one side on higher-pitched sounds, especially piano and certain voices. It is clearly audible from meters away, even at low volume. The strange part is that the affected side changed:Original: left side — serial starts with 2508LC Replacement #1: left side — serial starts with 2508LC Replacement #2: right side — serial starts with 2507LC I’ve tested different TVs, Apple TV, AirPlay, Sonos Radio, the Arc Ultra by itself,Trueplay off, and a complete factory reset/setup. The issue remained. To be fair, Sonos Support has been very kind and helpful and approved the replacements after seeing my videos.

The subwoofer will not play sound. What do I do?

I have a few questions regarding how Headphone Linking, TV Audio Swap, and app control are going to work  for Ace Ultra in a couple different situations.Say you have a Sonos System with the following rooms setup.Room 1 - Arc UltraRoom 2 - Era 100Room 3 - Era 300Room 4 - Ace Ultra Scenario 1 -Action - Room 1 is playing TV Audio.  While in room 1, with the  Ace Ultra, press (hold) the content key to transfer TV audio to the Ace Ultra.  Audio stops on Room 1 and plays on the Ace Ultra.    Press the content key again while still in room 1.Result  - Audio stops on Ace Ultra and returns to room 1.  Standard TV Swap scenario. Scenario 2 -Action - Room 1 is playing TV Audio.  While in room 1, with the  Ace Ultra, press (hold) the content key to transfer TV audio to the Ace Ultra.  Audio stops on Room 1 and plays on the Ace Ultra.    Move to room 2 and press the content key.Result  - Audio stops on Ace Ultra and returns to room 1? (or does TV audio transfer to room 2?) Scenario 3 -Action - Room

Will the new Sonos Ace Ultra headphone be just another room in the S2 app? Or does it require one of the compatible Sonos products?

I have a Xgimi Horizon 20pro projector, Sonos playbar, Ugreen wireless extender transmitter & receiver (CM506), Ugreen audio splitter HDMI to optical spdif convertor (CM677). As I don't want to run a long optical cable across the 5 meter floor, how do I set this up to wirelessly connect horizon 20pro to Sonos playbar? My projector doesn't seems to detect any device from HDMI ARC. Able to advise?

I am experiencing an audio routing issue with my Sonos surround setup that only started happening recently after a recent software update. Up until recently, this setup worked perfectly.My Setup:Soundbar: Sonos Beam (Gen 2) connected via HDMI eARC. Surrounds: Stereo pair of Sonos Era 100s. TV: Sony W800F. Source: Apple TV 4K connected to the Sony TV via HDMI.Whenever I switch on my TV, I need to manually go into the apple audio output option, select Sonos setup, and everything works great—audio plays perfectly through the Beam and both Era 100 surrounds.However, the moment I press any button with the Apple TV remote (changing apps, volume controls, or pausing a video), the audio output automatically changes away from the Sonos system back to "Native/TV Speakers". Because the TV assumes the Beam is the native speaker, I still get front audio, but the Era 100 surround channels completely cut out, and I completely lose the ability to control the volume using my Apple TV remote.To get surr

I’m experiencing an intermittent problem with one of my Sonos speakers where it suddenly becomes unavailable in the Sonos app while I’m listening to music. The speaker still has power and appears to be running normally, but playback stops and the app either shows the speaker as unavailable or takes a long time to reconnect. The problem is inconsistent, which makes it difficult to determine what is triggering it.Some details I’ve noticed so far:The speaker can disconnect while audio is already playing. Other devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network continue working normally. The speaker sometimes reappears in the Sonos app after waiting for a few minutes. Restarting the speaker temporarily fixes the problem. The issue can return later without any obvious change to the network. The problem does not seem to happen at a specific time or with a particular music service. Hi, Frustrated or What?I have just changed my wifi name, this involved a full factory reset of every Sonos product and the creation of a new ‘Sonos’ System using the app on my phone, after a few little issue, every Sonos speaker transferred over from the old system and joined the new. Every speaker has had it/s wifi changed successfully.However, despite a full reinstall of MacOS and Sonos app on the Mac ( as you see, I’ve tried a lot!) I still cannot get the Sonos App for MacOS to join the party.When I open the App, it tries to find, what is now, an ‘existing system’, and tells me that my firewall settings have changed.Every single setting of my firewalls are correct, permissions for the app to find devices on the network - correct. Permission to control my computer using Accessibility features - correct. My full system is fully recognized by my app on my iPhone!I am a retired IT professional so I pity poor souls with no IT skills!!I am now on day three of trying to find a solution - a

I have a Sonos Amp Multi and want to use 1 of the 4 zones as a Surrounds for my Arc.  I used to do this with my dedicated Connect:Amp.  I got the Amp multi to replace all of my Connect:Amps.  The single Sonos Amp product allows to pair with an Arc for surrounds, but the Amp Multi cannot for 1 of its 4 zones.

Being a quadriplegic I used to use Alexa to run a routine to operate the callbell in the nursing home. Since Alexa plus became available it continually fails to run the routines correctly. I understand sonos and EWElink can be connected to run routines by that System… how?

I have had my Sonos One device for 6 years and have never been able to connect Alexa to it. I recently tried again and it still will not connect. When it prompts me to log into my Amazon account it says my email address is already in use on another account. I have checked the devices under this Amazon account and there is nothing there for me to delete. There are no devices at all linked to my account. I have factory reset my device, the app, tried to create a new Amazon account (not possible without a new phone number) and am still unsuccessful. I am very close to giving up again, any suggestions would be appreciated. 

Something has clearly changed in the Amazon Music → Sonos integration in the past 2 months, and it’s breaking the way many of us use Sonos.I have multiple Amazon Music playlists with 500+ songs. For years, Sonos handled them without any issue: Sonos S1 loaded full playlists. Sonos S2 loaded full playlists. The Sonos Windows app could load all 500+ tracks, even when mobile apps had limits. Now, suddenly: S1 loads only 300 tracks. S2 loads only 225 tracks. Anything beyond that simply disappears from the queue. The Windows app no longer bypasses the limit. This is not an Amazon Music problem — the playlists are complete and playable everywhere except Sonos. It’s not a device problem — it happens across S1, S2, and Windows. It’s not a user error — I’ve tested multiple playlists, multiple accounts, multiple devices.I’ve contacted Amazon support. No solution. I’ve tried third‑party apps. No solution. I have an Amp connect and an Audioflow switch connected to 4 ceiling speakers. I wish to install a multi amp now and remove the Audioflow switch. I have provisions to connect 4 more passive speakers. Why can’t I purchase the multi amp direct rather then going through an installer. 

In my front room, I run the TV audio through a Fire Cube. I have two Sonos Amps connected by HDMI-eArc.  One of the Amps powers a pair of front L/R main speakers and the second Sonos Amp is connected to a pair of in-ceiling rear speakers.I have used this setup with no issues for over a year now until recently I started having issues with the Fire Cube losing internet connection sporadially.  To test whether or not it was the Fire Cube or if it was something else, I swapped out a different Fire Cube from my Master Bedroom (MBR).I took the Fire Cube from my MBR and connected it to my front room TV.  Everything works fine, the sound comes on through my Sonos Amps EXCEPT now I am not able to control the volume of the Sonos Amps using the little Fire Cube remote.  The volume is adjustable through the Sonos ap, but that is not ideal.Is there some setting on the Fire Cube that I need to adjust so that I can adjust the Sonos Amps volume using the Fire Cube’s remote?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if it would be possible for the Sonos app to use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to detect which Sonos speaker is physically closest to your smartphone when you open the app.For example, if I walk into the kitchen and open the Sonos app, it could detect that the kitchen speaker is the closest one and automatically show the Now Playing screen for that speaker, instead of showing the speaker or room that I had previously selected.The idea would be to make the app more context-aware: when you open it, the speaker you're most likely trying to control is often the one physically closest to you.Ideally, this could be an optional feature in the Sonos app settings, so users could choose whether they want this behavior or prefer the current behavior of keeping the previously selected speaker/room.For example, there could be a setting like “Automatically select nearest speaker” that could simply be enabled or disabled.BLE could potentially be used for proximity detection

I have a sonos sub and sonor ultra with Sony TV , but the performance is soo poor, especially the sound. Any suggestions

Hi. I have a Play 5 Gen 1. I actually have over a dozen Sonos speakers. They are great sounding speakers. My older Play 5 powers up and communicates with the system, but outputs no audio. I’ve done a factory reset and re-added it, but no luck. I’m an electrical engineer and can repair/replace PCBs. I hate to throw a great sounding device in the trash that can be repaired. I don’t need an upgrade discount to replace it. I just want to repair it if possible.

Hi,I have Unifi Dream Machine. I referenced the following and it said I can have everything wired and make it work. However, It seems like when I have everything wired (and turned off wifi) the surrounds + subs get lost --still connected to the network but doesn’t output any sound. Has anyone run into similar issues? When i asked AI app it mentions that home theater has a private masked network running on 5GHz, so I cannot disable wifi (arc won’t be able to talk to other speakers). But Unifi doesn’t support STP on a per port basis (only globally) so it didn’t seem to work either.  Has anyone gotten it to work?    

I have two Sonos Era 100 speakers setup as a dual channel. I like to use them as speakers for my computer, and when I connect to them, it won’t play from my computer. I will need to disconnect and reconnect them, but even that doesn’t work all the time.I’ve figured out another solution, but it’s also not perfect. I will need to begin playing something through the Sonos app, and begin to play audio on my computer, and I will repeatedly need to start and stop the video/music, or move the volume up and down, and then sometimes it will shift to my computer audio. They are connected as two separate speakers, but through Sonos they get recognized as a L/R pair. Even when it does work through this, if I don’t keep a continuous stream of audio coming from my computer, it will stop connecting to my computer. I like to use Discord on my computer, but if I don’t keep a video/music on in the background, it will continue to cut in and out.  Is there a simple solution that I am missing? The speakers

Hello, a couple days ago my Sonos Beam stopped outputting sound from my Hisense Roku TV. Nothing has changed as far as I’m aware, but the TV does not recognize it as an audio output source. The TV doesn’t detect it when I look for CEC devices, and the soundbar doesn’t detect that it is connected to a TV. The Beam is connected to my TV via eARC, I have tried three different HDMI cables with no results. I’ve factory reset both devices and tried everything else I can think of, nothing works. Please help! I don’t want to have to get a new tv or soundbar. 

Does anyone else have this problem?I have the MyTuner service installed.  It shows stations from all over the world, but as far as I can tell, it absolutely refuses to play anything from outside my own country (I’m in the UK).  When I try, the play icon changes momentarily to a “stop” icon, then changes back.  Sometimes I get a “Couldn’t play content” error, sometimes not.I know there have been problems with geofencing stations in the past, but the stations I have tried are certainly streamable in the UK, even using the MyTuner app on other platforms such as iOS or Android, or via the MyTuner website.  So it’s not that MyTuner can’t play them, it’s something about the implementation on Sonos that is different.  And as I said, it affects everything apart from UK stations.Any ideas?Thanks

Hi,I’m planning on a ceiling mount for the amp, where the amp would be upside down and there is nothing in amp manual that specifically either allows or prohibits that orientation. The amp would be screwed onto a metal plate about 50mm wide and 250mm long which in turn would be screwed to joists in the ceiling. Would that create a problem with ventilation, if so would it need to be spaced off the ceiling to allow airflow, or would I have to construct a U shaped bracket to mount the right way up and how much gap between the top of the amp and the ceiling - looking at pictures of the rack mount I would imagine ½ inch would be more than adequate
