again Problem with voice commands , now at this moment I can not use voice controll  with google assist , no controll on my home right now again , why buy a expensive beam while a 30 euro google device works fine , why every time update beam with so many issues 

Hello everyone,I have one group set up in my living room that consists of Arc Ultra, Sub , Sonos One SL’s for surrounds.    I also have two Sonos Era 300’s I bought for mainly playing music. (not going to use while watching tv).  When playing a song on Apple music i selected my living room set up and my Era 300’s the music starts but as soon as i try to move volume slider the music stops completely?  When I take off the TV set up and only play through 300’s, volume is fine to use?       Any ideas why playing over two groups my controls not working properly?

I have a very unusual open layout living room that we are currently renovating. Originally my plan was to put 8” ceiling speakers in to act as rear surrounds for an Arc Ultra + Sub. However after opening up the ceiling we found that there is only space for 6” speakers between the joists in the ceiling. Additionally the gap between the joists for the placement that I had thought would be best for the left speaker we ended up being too tight to even install the 6” so it would require relocating it 2’ to the right. I’m wondering if it is worth doing this placement with the left speaker being much more central than I would have liked and not being symmetrical with the center of the TV to the right speaker. I could also move the right speaker in to make them both equidistant from the center of the TV. However given this I was considering alternatives and thought about ceiling mounting 2 Era 300s instead of the In-Ceiling speakers. I’m wondering if anyone has any recommendations for this lay

Hi, Today I tried to play music through Alexa and it said it couldn't because I didn't have internet, but after I tried with Sonos assistant and Sonos could. I removed my account and when I tried to log back into Amazon it gave me error 400, but I searched and there was no outage. Is anyone else having this problem?

I just got a Sonos Line-In Adapter which I want to use to attach between the analog line out of a small radio and a laptop. I then want to pass the signal through the laptop to a bluetooth amp.I started out first just trying to get the signal to the laptop and selecting the audio capture device with VLC. I had just one option on the drop down list, hw,0,0.  I selected that and could hear the signal with earphones and it sounded OK.I later ran into some issues making the bluetooth connection and it looks to be an issue with a missing dependency. I tried a number of suggestions and uninstalled and reinstalled some drivers, etc. It still doesn’t connect to the amp via bluetooth.I went back to VLC and the signal from the radio through the Sonos adapter. I noticed two things. First there was lots of static and noise and I could hear the signal, but it was very weak. I also noticed in the drop down box there were two options listed, hw,0,0 and hw1,0. Hi everyone, I use both Apple Music and I listen a lot to podcasts via Apple Podcasts. For Apple Music I most of the time use the Sonos App (because of the streaming quality and direct streaming). For podcast I obviously  use AirPlay 2 from my iPhone (iPhone 16 - iOS 26). I’ve read a few articles on AirPlay, including on this forum, and I was wondering which are the best practices. In this support article they say: Select one or more Sonos products to stream the same audio across all of them using AirPlay. But in some posts and articles I read it’s better to do grouping an ungrouping via the Sonos App (all my speakers are AirPlay 2-compatible). My question:Is it better to just initiate the AirPlay 2 stream and then switch back to Sonos App for other controls (grouping and ungrouping, volume) or does it make no difference anymore if using the controls from iOS).  What is the difference between grouping with iOS and with Sonos?

Forbindelsen til DR LYD blev afbrudt.” Jeg modtager også somme tider fejlen “ Kan ikke afspille DR P3. Den er ikke kodet korrekt”  det virker derimod fint i TuneIn Player.  hvad går galt her? Er det DR der har problemer med appen eller er det Sonos der skal rette noget?  på forhånd tak.  

My setup is an Arc Ultra with rear 300s and a sub gen 3, routed through earc from a Samsung s95f tv. I am having a really hard time getting a useable surround sound balance when playing games on the ps5 or switch 2, which are both configured using lpcm 5.1 for positional surround with minimal latency. I’ve narrowed down the main issue to the surround balancing that seems to occur between the Arc Ultra and the surround satellites, where the system seems to always want to use the arc to boost the surrounds even when it makes no sense. in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth for example, if I rotate the camera around so a sound source goes from directly in front of me to directly behind me I can hear it move from the center to the side and then to the back, except as it moves to the back the side is always firing just as loud as it was while the object was mostly in front of me so now the overall volume of the source is basically doubled as it comes out of multiple speakers.  truplay does nothing to m

BIG delay sound in mode line in "jack" on PC

My setup is a Beam and Era 300’s ( no sub) in surround sound mode in one room . In other rooms, I have Era 100’s. I woudl like to add an AT-LP3XBT turntable to the mix.I could direct connect the turntable to the Beam, but not the other speakers. Is it possible to:Direct connect the Beam and through it include all of the other speakers? Wirelessly do the same thing? Other alternative?

I am currently playing my turntable through a phono into an Era 100 that I have on mute to stream around the house. I could do with freeing this up to use in another room. I keep looking at the ports and wondered if it’s worth the upgrade from an Era 100? should I just buy another 100 and use it on mute or buy a port ? Will I notice the £200 difference ? 

If I provide a photo of the room I want to purchase a system for, could you recommend the best options/setup?

I have a home theater set up with an Arc, sub, and two 300 surround speakers. Even with voice enhancement on the vocal volume is drowned out by background music/noise.how can I adjust to increase vocal volume in relation to the background music

I want to be able to rearrange my services on the home page of the app. The services I use most are at the end and I have to scroll over to them each time. This has been brought up a number of times before.Since the only two options when posting are "ask a question," and "it is a conversation," I guess I'll make it a question smh...why can't I rearrange my services on the home page of the app?

I am unable to control the volume using the receiver.  I am using 2 ERA100 speakers and 1 Sonos Ray. I have an RCA going from Sonos Line Out to the receiver SA-CD/CD IN. II have created a Group in the app with the 3 speakers and have the Line set as Fixed in the app. All components connected to wifi. Am I missing something that might cause this not to work?

HiIn the old app it was possible to add the currently playing track (when playing through Spotify) to a Spotify playlist. This was removed in the initial new app clusterhug, I was wondering if it had been put back yet?I get that sonos wants to keep us all as in house as possible but it's missing the point, I want to build playlists that I can listen to at home on my sonos and away on my phone. My Era 100 makes beeps when not used - I believe it is when my bluetooth paired laptop is closed and in the house. Playback from the laptop via bluetooth is fine, but when not used the loudspeaker will make those beeps regularly, even it is muted. I don’t understand the point of this feature and you should simply remove it. I complained a few years ago, you promised to put it on your updates list, but nothing happened.

I take care of elderly parents, and I love music in the kitchen. I purchased a pair of Era 100 speakers to get me moving while working in the kitchen.As you can see from the picture, my parents are clutter bugs, which leaves no sonically clean areas below the speakers and no real place to mount them other than fairly high on the wall. I think just to the left of the slide door opening, about the height of the opening is the best place to mount the Right speaker. The left would go roughly equal distance from the side wall, at the same height.The floor is hard, ceramic tile, and the ceiling opens for a skylight about 4’ in front of the wall. The counter where I took the picture is 8-10 feet from the wall.Normally, Sonos recommends mounting the Era 100 upright around eye height and inverted when higher. I suspect the speakers will sound better upright at about 6’ off the floor so sound can bounce off the ceiling rather than be absorbed by all the “stuff” along the wall.It is not my home,

Afternoon all. Have an opportunity (at last) to upgrade a listening room and will be going with ERA 300’s and ARC Ultra.Lots of bracketry options but has been a while since bought any. It’s a room that is going to totally renovated and cosmetics as well as practicalities are important. Interested in your suggestion, recommendations and experience as to what the best looking and functioning white bracketry would be please?I’m keen to all the fitting and messy stuff before the nice purchases later year. So getting the right infrastructure and hardware to sit underneath is useful to do now at the drilling and channelling stage.Appreciate any input and advice you have. Many thanks

Hi All, Does anyone know if you can play Radio 3 Unwind ‘Sleep’ episodes on Gen 1 Sonos? I want to play the sleep section from unwind but the live broadcasts don’t start until 11pm I really need them before that time. I have searched everywhere but can't find an answer. I have BBC Sounds on my Sonos app, but there doesn’t appear to be a ‘catch up’ option.

My Sonos ray when connected to my TVvia optical cable does not appear on the app. When out of cable it works in the app.help?

Buonasera,Da oggi,nonostante abbia scollegato e ricollegato l'account come da istruzioni,sonos non spegne/accende più le luci  ,e altri comandi domotici e inoltre non riproduce più i miei brani vocalmente.Ho letto le vostre.istruzioni perché è un problema segnalato ultimamente...mi aiutate per favore a risolverlo?Ho anche un n'est mini collegato e lui funziona.Grazie mille 

After the latest update i can no longer change the time for an alarm or set up a new alarm. All on a Samsung phone. The keyboard disappears before I can type any numbers. Don't people test these updates before they are rolled out?
