One common use case for me is using my headphones while cycling to the office - a rather challenging task for noise isolation headphones.

Coming from a pair of Bose QC 45 to Sonos Ace, I miss a lot the wind rejection noise isolation feature (marketed as “Commute” by Bose), so I would like to kindly request this feature for Sonos’ headphones too.

From a technical point of view, I don’t really think it’s that hard to at least create a proof-of-concept, as the wind has usually known frequencies.

Hi @geoox

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

Thank you - I've marked this thread as a feature request and it will be seen by the relevant teams for consideration. Keep the ideas coming!

@geoox

What about wearing a helmet in combination with over ear headphones. 🙈

I strongly recommend using in ears with aware mode or even better no headphones at all cycling in public spaces. Safety first! 😉

@Schlumpf thank you for your consideration.

Let’s take away the fact that one would be biking, but walking in a very windy environment (e.g. Denmark, there’s non stop winds over here 🙂 ).

The feature request stays the same, the noise isolation in wind environments is nowhere near as good as Bose QC 45 and it probably is so because the team hasn’t been looking into covering this edge case.

@Corry P thanks for flagging it appropriately, hope it’s going to receive attention.

@geoox

Sure… I absolutely understand your point. Just was kidding because of pictures in my had with Sonos Ace on bike. 😂
