As I understand it, once OSX no longer supports Intel apps, there will be no desktop app for Mac.  The desktop app has persistent access to the queue regardless of what content is currently being played.  The mobile app and the web player only have access to the queue if one is playing tracks from your music library.  In the case of the mobile app, the queue icon isn’t even present.  In the case of the web player, the icon is present but is greyed out/non-functional. I recognize that playing a local music library is probably only done by a minority of Sonos users but that community is not exactly zero either so if the desktop app is going to be discontinued, it would behoove Sonos to provide similar capabilities in one way or another.  Given that the queue icon isn’t even presented in the mobile app, perhaps the simplest thing to do would be to fix it in the web player.Further, the desktop app allowed one to select multiple tracks for deletion from the que

The system would greatly benefit from a full EQ or at very least, the option to adjust midrange.Considering the cost of full Sonos system, the lack of actual equalizer really feels like an oversight. We all have different tastes when it comes to sound profiles, and having an EQ seems like a no-brainer feature in the current premium soundbar/speaker market.Trueplay does not mitigate the lack of equalizer, as the results are very inconsistent, especially in rooms with non-regular layouts.Sonos please, add an EQ.

Hi Sonos Team,I would like to request a feature to disable the "long-press to join group" function on the physical buttons of Sonos speakers.This is a specific issue in households with children, particularly with models like the One, Era 100, Era 300, and SYMFONISK speakers. My children have SYMFONISK speakers in their rooms, and because they don’t have smartphones to control the music, they use the physical buttons to play/pause or skip tracks.The problem is that they often hold the button down for too long, which triggers the "Join Group" feature. This causes their music to merge with whatever is playing in the rest of the house, which is frustrating for both the kids and the adults.It would be a huge improvement if we could toggle this specific shortcut off in the Sonos app (under Room Settings), so the buttons only function for Play/Pause/Skip without the risk of accidental grouping.Is this something you would consider adding t

Hi, I've been working on a hardware side project for a while and wanted to share a demo.It's a small LED matrix that connects to your Sonos system over your local network. No cloud, no subscription — just a little screen that shows what's playing. I started prototyping on an 8×32 display (first video) but it was too cramped — lyrics could only show one word at a time. I’m looking to move a large iTunes library onto a portable external hard drive.  Western Digital, Seagate, and LaCie all have comparably priced 2-3TB devices.  Wondering if anyone in the community has recently purchased one of these devices and transferred a library?  If so, which one and did you encounter any difficulties?

For my serious music listening I prefer my Sonos Fives in stereo pair with Sub 3. My primary genre is smooth jazz.However, as I own an Arc Ultra with Era 300’s & Sub 4 x 2 and a stereo pair of Era 300’s with Sub 3; I’ve been curious about Dolby Atmos for music. I‘ve streamed various Dolby Atmos tracks to both setups and frankly have not been overwhelmingly impressed. That said I will give the edge to the Arc Ultra setup.One thing I’ve learned (at least to my ear) is that Dolby Atmos for music sounds best when the mix is more “eclectic” rather than straight forward. Just FYI….I had a Sonos Order lost by UPS. I contacted Sonos Sales via email (*) and the next day received a response to verify my shipping address to get another order sent. My point is to contact the right department in Sonos which is not Sonos Tech Support nor this community.  Doing so will prevent (or lessen) frustration. Make sure you have your Order Number and carrier (UPS, FedEx) tracking number and explain the reason for the email. I recently had issues with my Era 300 and Stands. The screws were worn out after 2 cycles of assembly and disassembly.  For a premium brand where 1 set of Speaker and Stand costs almost 1000€ the policy is super disappinting, a lot of non premium brands are way more consumer friendly. Sonos does not offer replacement parts to order (am I expected to buy the whole stand because a small part is broken?) Installation manual does not provide helpful specs “Black Screws” (say Phillips M5 28mm PH2 Bit) The support is closing the chat before you could ask all your questions

Radio France and its many substations (Musique → La Baroque is the one I used to listen to) is no longer reachable on my Sonos (S1). )   Any advice from other users?  Still comes in beautifully on my Imac via Google Chrome but unlike  my Sonos this is not connected to my stereo system.

I’m registered in the developer portal (integration.sonos.com) and successfully registered integration app.   When we tried to login to the Developer Portal yesterday and also connect to api.sonos.com., we getting a login error on of our Sonos accounts saying that are “email or password are incorrect, please try again”.    I reported it already to the 24/7 support agent, but seems I am the first reporting the issue yesterday and also sent  detailed email to developer-feedback@sonos.com - even if it occurred already an hour ago and is still ongoing.    It appears like a misconfigured Okta config on the developer site (getting started link) and the api.Sonos.com pages. Do others experience same issue, or does the login or account registration or password reset on developer.sonos.com / integration.sonos.com work for you?

Well, I bought into this SONOS system and it used to work awesome.  Now, it’s crap. Now I have all of these components and they're all as good as paperweights now.  I cannot get this BS system to work anymore for anything.  I have submitted diagnostics, well when the system will allow me to anyways, most the times I cannot even submit diagnostics because I can't connect to it or it just simply won’t let me.  I'm so frustrated with this system.  I have speakers in every room of my house and I sure wish I could control them.  My speakers drop off, one room will play one thing while the rest of the house is on something else or just gone.  I've spent time with the techs on the phone.  I've had to go to every single piece of equipment and unplug it and plug it back in. I just want to listen to music in my house but I guess I put all my money into the wrong system.  Anyone have a better system they are using now cause I'm ready to throw thousands of dollars away to get music in my house.

I have a mini sub and I typically have it turned off out of respect for my neighbors.  When I decide to turn the sub on or off there are about 7 or 8 taps/steps I need to go through to achieve that.  It’s not so much the taps but more about remembering the mapping to get there each and every time.So here is my suggestion….. and Its crystal clear in the image below that I created for you.  Include the sub at the bottom of the output selector page and even though it doesn’t have a volume you could use the slider to adjust the amount of bass.  Plus I can turn it on or off RIGHT THERE!!!!  No more 8 steps to turn on and then another 8 steps to turn it off.  I just saved your customer 16 steps.You c

I know this is a community forum and not santa‘s wish list center. But when it comes to sonos, I noticed, that sometimes you just need to leave your wishes somewhere.So here it comes: Updated Fives with upgraded chips, wifi and mics would be nice.And if you would drop updated Aces with better sound quality, sound swap for all speakers (and not just soundbars - my partner does not like my music taste) and maybe a hdmi dongle for atmos support  (if you don‘t have a soundbar) - I would be very tempted.

So, after 3 failed attempts at using PayPal, Pay in 3 on the Sonos website, I have finally got it to work. Tech company, sells WiFi stuff etc etc. You'd think ordering something would be easy? No, not if using PayPal!I have serious doubts about my purchase, if a company this well known can't even fix their website payments it makes me worry about their products or what support there may be if something isn't right.Anyway, I did order eventually, and followed the instructions of previous frustrated customers. If trying to use PayPal pay in 3, place your order with a credit/debit card. Then when you get to review order, edit the payment method to PayPal. No problem after that. Customer experience trying to get this to work is absolutely shocking, I was at the point of refusing to ever buy a Sonus product due to pure frustration. So I moved my speaker to another corner in my study and did a true play retune. I noticed I lost all the sub woofer sounds even though my sub mini and SL ones were operating it all sounded tinny. Tonight I did my third reset what I did do was move the sub mini to another corner an actual open corner of the room and did a true play retune then moved the sub mini back to the first corner in my room. The reset meant I had I lost my TV connection. So in order to retrieve everything back I had to turn everything off including the modem. I then restarted the modem followed by the TV once I got the TV going I restated the Arc and sub woofer simultaneously by turning the power points on. I then did the same with my two Sonos One SL speakers. I then physically placed the sub mini to the closer corner of my room. The difference was amazing it now sounds like I am in a movie theatre and action movies you can feel the sub mini reverberating throughout the entire room. I am providing this advice

Not sure why I didn’t think of this last year, when my Playbase developed the known fault of not being able to connect to WiFi, but today, I moved my upstairs black BT disc (which is paired with my BT Smart HUB 2) to within ethernet cable distance of my bedroom Playbase and plugged the Playbase into the single ethernet port on the back. And hey presto! It’s back on my Sonos system! I had been just using it as my telly speaker without being able to see it or control it in the Sonos App. Now it is back!  I will keep an eye on it in the App to make sure it carries on behaving itself but I don’t see why it wouldn’t.  It’s nice to know that using these discs which only work with the BT Smart Hub 2, can accept a Sonos device plugged into the ethernet port on the back. 

I would love to see a feature in this app that has a volume balance. That is to say, where you can have presets to have different volume balances to create an overall effect of immersion.

I love my Sonos speakers - I have a Beam, a Mini Sub, 2 Play 5s, and 2 Era 100s. They sound GREAT. When they work. Enter the Sonos ecosystem… the poor coding, the terrible user experience, the  shockingly bad UI. There is nothing more frustrating than a song that cuts out, except one where the speakers play intermittently. Because of this, I loathe Sonos as a company. I am appalled at the seeming hate that the Sonos product mangers, the software engineers, and the company management has for audiophiles; if not, please explain the volume slider that never starts at a synched volume and has to be manually adjusted, explain why SonosNet continually drops out while my WiFi does not but am yet unable to allow the Beam to talk to the Sub and Eras over WiFi? As of now, I no longer caution people who inquire of me if they should buy Sonos, I actively proselytize for anyone and everyone to please make better choices and buy some speakers with a functional ecosystem - again, the speakers soun

 It’s interesting how a topic can be closed before a fix is made.  I suppose because there was no activity the subject was not important enough which does make sense.  Seems there aren’t that many in this community that listen to gapless orchestral music in Atmos.   Trying to listen to Mason Bates: Anthology of Fantastic Zoology streamed from Apple Music in Spacial Audio.  The bumps at louder track transitions is very irritating.  Maybe this can’t be fixed.  Would love to know.

I would like to request a feature that allows users to enable full-range surround playback for TV input, similar to the option that already exists under Music Playback settings. Right now, Sonos allows surrounds to operate in either Ambient or Full mode when playing music directly through the app. However, when audio comes from a TV source, surrounds are limited to an ambient role for stereo content. This creates a noticeable limitation when using devices like Apple TV for music playback. Many apps, including Apple Music, output stereo PCM for content that is not available in Dolby Atmos. Sonos treats this as TV audio, which means the surround speakers only play ambient sound instead of full-range audio. As a result, the system does not fully utilize all speakers, and the listening experience feels much less immersive than it should. This is especially frustrating because Atmos content works correctly and engages the full system, while non-A

Is this happening to others???I placed an order on Sonos site on March 2nd to take advantage of 25% discound they offered via email. Received a CONFIRMATION with order number.When it didn't arrive in when expected, and their site's order tracking page failed to ever load, I bit the bullet and called them. The rep said that it never shipped, due to issue with credit card. I never received any kind of correspondence to let me know there were any issues.When I called Chase bank to see what may have happened, they had no record of any attempt to run my card.Either way, while I was on the phone with Sonos rep, I placed the order over the phone directly with that same rep, using my girlfriend's entirely different credit card. The rep gave me an order number and ensured me they would send a confirmation by email. Guess what? No email. And guess what else? Tracking page still doesn't load, and the rep I called again today could not find the new order number at al
