About the Costco arc with the Era 100’s and the Sub. Worked amazing loved it realized I had no surround sound or sub.  Follow the instructions of re-resetting it with unplugging for five minutes.  It works for a bit and now the Sonos app can only find the arc.  I spent an hour with Sonos chat got disconnected twice.  Absolutely no help. Anyone have some thoughts?

I have been a Sones devotee for close to twenty years, owning four Sonos5s and four Soonos 1s. I loved the sound and the ease with which I could access my 'own' as well as the music Icould stream from providers such as Deezer and Spotify.Now, in the first instance when the company left its 'old' customers with a an incompatible software version and in particular since I encountered massive problems in connection with moving house, my exuberance has - to say the least -faded considerably. I travel a lot and when I return home after a period of absence one of my greatest dreads is having to spend hours trying to ‘reason’ my Sonos to behave in accordance with what it’s supposed to.The problems Sonos keeps presenting are now of a scope that leaves me with no other choice but to change to another brand. I will never again buy a Sonos product, and - given the opportunity – I will not hesitate to advise anyone else to disregard Sonos as a reliable product.I would even go as far as proposing t

About 1 month ago, I set up a new MacBook Pro using macOS Tahoe and my Sonos system worked but I could not add my music library (yet again!!!). I used Sonos support by phone 3 times in one week. The last call was 3 hours long without any success. My only option, according to Sonos, was to allow customer support that enters my laptop and they try to add the music library for me. I have done this before but I really do not like giving anyone access to my machine. I gave access and 2 hours later still no music library and I was told that the customer support person had to leave me because they had so many other people to help. I have not heard from Sonos again.  Last week I sat down and tried the 3 options available for adding the music library and amazingly it loaded! I did not do anything different than what myself and customer service had tried the few weeks prior but for whatever reason it worked this time. Maybe Sonos finally corrected the cause of error 913. What makes me frustrated

I created a new Spotify account.  The Sonos app will let me remove the old spotify service but when i try to log in to the new service it automatically authorizes the old one without letting me log in to the new one. Has anyone found a work around for this?

Hey guys, I just wanted to let you all know.  Sonos just sent out a 20% off link to “Loyal Customers.”Before clicking that link, check the prices on the site.  Use incognito mode.  Right now the Move2 I’ve been wanting is $499 marked down to $399.  But not when you hit that link!  The “Loyal Suckers” get a price of $649 marked down to $519!Wow, what a shady practice!  Some states are actively working on legislation to make this illegal.  Repeat customers get taken advantage of.  Isn’t it supposed to the the opposite?  Aren’t you supposed to treat your customers well?  We have to deal with bad apps, disabling old hardware that still works fine, and now paying more if you’re a return customer.I expect this post will be deleted shortly after posting, but at least I hope some of you see it before you fall victim to this scam.

I have a pretty large Sonos system in every room in My house  I was checking to upgrade a Sonos Arc for the Sonos arc ultra.Since there is quite a discount going on right now , I figure I’ll get .I go to the Sonos website and set up an upgrade , the DECEIVING part is that the price of the arc ultra changed to a higher price because I am trying to use the upgrade option and then they apply the upgrade ( 15% ) that is what they do at  some stores when they have a sale the night before they change the prices , so the “ Sale “ doesn’t mean anything , but for Sonos to do in such plain fashion is just a very bad business practice !! Makes me question WHY i ever got into this Sonos system .Very dissapointed

He all, I’m setting up a sleep timer on Sonos so the music automatically turns off after a specified time period a lot. Usually, I put one for my cat to be honest, so he is not home alone too long in complete silence. However, I’d wish to have longer times. It’s I think not so difficult to add, but I was wonder if there can be longer times? Like 4, 6, 8 and 10, 12 hours?  :)Or something like scheduling times to play music would also be a solution, but that’s more like a new feature. ;-)For the love of our pets. <3 

Why does my system always drop out? This is very frustrating and I can't get a real person on a call.

I noticed that I use to have my volume set at a certain volume number and it was perfect for my listening preference, but now it seems I need to turnup the volume setting much much higher today???Also my bass is not pounding like it once use to unless I am turning uo the setting to like 8 setting. I have soundbar in the living room and individual speakers in my other rooms. Over a year ago, they suddenly just dropped out like losing connection then after a minute or so come back on sometimes to a different song. I used Spotify and mine is a paid subscription and my wifi was working during those episodes. I read some of the conversations posted and this appears to be a constant like this is part of SONOS that customers have to live with. I tried to troubleshoot getting advise from Google and your SONOS website but nothing seems to work. I got so tired now I just gave up. Can’t imagine why a big brand would let this go unattended or put up an update to fix it. I read also many frustrated customers about to throw out their expensive sound system. This is how a successful company heads toward downfall by not listening to the very customers that made them successful. Maybe a hard lesson will reshape them or maybe an acquisition or buyout with new owners firing all the ignorant people

These Sonos speakers are basically useless for the past 2 years. We have 3 Play 1, one Play 5, and one Move. They’re never all connected anymore. Every time you try to play music, either zero of them are connected or maybe one or 2 are connected. And it’s always different ones so there’s no consistency. I want to sell them all but they’re worthless so who would buy them?? Are other people still having this same issue? Is there anything you’ve tried that works to keep them consistently connected? I feel like the better business bureau should shut Sonos down for this blatant lack of product functionality and pay us all money back. This is so beyond frustrating.

Made the mistake of listening to youtube on my mac via airplay, with SoundSource equaliser, adding a 10 band eq and modifying after my preferences. Now i don’t like the normal and trueplay sound anymore. Sonos, please add a full 10 band equaliser, we are talking about sound, and sound is subjective. What i like in my case is to raise ~32 and 250, and lower 64 and 128. Running on Beam, sub mini and 2 ones surround.

Please add integration with at least one of the advanced AI assistants available. As right now there is nothing smart about the speaker. It's a standard wifi speaker with no battery and a overly complicated setup. Chat GPT, Google Gemini, Claude...

I have 3 SONOS Amps controlling several in-ceiling speakers in my house.  These speakers are in separate zones.  I use the SONOS S1 app (because one of the Amps is an older model).  I also use Alexa to play music.  The speakers are not SONOS brand.I am in the process of selling my home, and the buyer is going to keep the whole setup.  How do I transfer or give him control so that I don’t have to give him my login ID and password?

I’ve had Sonos since their beginnings with still 5 speakers amps port etc from 1st gen and no one wants them!  They have always worked without ZERO problems.  I’ve since renewed to the “newer” versions, with a slew of new speakers amplifiers port etc.  Boy oh boy what a nightmare I live about once or twice a month...for no apparent reason.  Nothing has changed on my Internet supplier other than the last 4 years I’m now at 1Gig fibre install.So, one day I see 2 of my 12 speakers, Sonos tells me to reboot my “modem”, why I don't know cause it comes back with maybe 3 of my 12 speakers...Sonos keeps telling me it's on my end.  I get frustrated and hangup (politely). a day later all 12 speakers are all there and working magically.  Another day all speakers are not there, so I go to every speaker and reconnect with the app.  If you have enough speakers in a house and need to re-connect all 12 speakers...it's an arduous task.  After all this is done they all work.  Now since yesterday, on my

Hi all!I recently moved and part of the reason was setting up a home theater in this room. I have the sonos arc, sub mini, and a big lg g3. For months I’ve been going back and forth on pulling the trigger on 2 era 300s, but I am worried that my set up isnt ideal with my couch against the wall. I can feasibly push it forward 8-10 inches but not much more. Would it be a waste to go for these? 

Just received the Ace.  Nice headphones, but the fact that they cannot play simultaneously with the other speakers in my large Sonos system is unfortunate.  I have quiet comfort headphones, which are stellar.  The reason I bought the Ace was to be able to play the drums to Spotify or Drumeo with the headphones on and allow that same music to be played throughout the house.  Any chance this can be a software fix? If not, too bad as these are just pair of bluetooth cans that you can use in bed to watch television.

Hello all. I am at wits end here.I purchased ACE headphones back in August, I was having issues and after all the fixes were tried I was directed to send them to SONOS for replacement. It has been TWO MONTHS. Sonos has ghosted me now. The only feedback I ever got was form emails. The Purolator tracking says it has been awaiting pickup for over ONE MONTH! Does anyone have a number I can call? Something corporate perhaps. I have to contact them before I can begin legal action.

The apple music interface in the new software has been getting better.One thing I would like updated is the Music by Mood Playlist selection list.  Unfortunately, each playlist starts with the words “Apple Music…” and they way it is implemented- this is all you see!  The actual playlist name (eg. “Apple Music Wellbeing”) isn’t shown- so you have to click into the list to actually see what each list’s full name is.It would be an improvement if Apple could filter out the name “Apple Music “ in the list of playlists displayed in the main Apple Music/Music by Mood list- and instead just show the name after this text.  

I have the exact same issue as bthaler from a year ago.I created a developer account on 24 October 2025, and the developer dashboard still says “Your registration is being analyzed by our team, please wait.”. There are no other options on the page. It has remained this way since I registered. I created a developer support ticket on 26 October, but there has been no acknowledgement or reply to my ticket and there has still been no reply or acknowledgement of the ticket.Does anyone monitor or reply to developer support tickets? How long am I expected to wait for my registration to be “analyzed”? My company has many clients we’d like to integrate with Sonos but I don’t seem to be able to proceed with anything yet.It’s 2 months to get approval to get on to the Sonos app which is longer than any other intgeration that we’ve had to do. Now we have to wait even longer?

Having read the posts on dropping out I have spent over 2 hours deleting everything and re installing. I’ve done the app , switched router on/off and guess what?? Still the same, so frustrating as this stuff used to be   great. Seriously considering getting rid , but not with a Sonos product . Just ornaments now 😡

Hi, I would like to do a feature request. I would like to have the possibility to have the cover in full screen in the Now Playing window on iPad.Here you have a comparison between the iPad mini and Galaxy tab A9 now playing window cover size. In iPad is very small compared to the Galaxy tab. Could it be possible to address this change? I think the people who loves to see the covers would like this feature in iPad.  Thanks! 

Hey guys, I just want to drop this here - I am extremely pissed on Apple for their sh**** ios 26. So, in the following days I will create a facebook/X account (never used these) specifically for publicly burning the 2 iPhones in our household and the watch ultra. I hate them so much! In light of this, Sonos better introduce the true play on Android, otherwise my next post will be me burning the Sonos gear. Don’t get me wrong, I love them, but because of this “exclusive” feature for ios they will lay down next to Apple.
