I was playing an app from my IPad and the blue light started blinking. All the sudden the iPad was kicked off and a song from someone else’s device started playing and I couldn’t control it. I reconnected my IPad and it didn’t happen again. please help.  

Hi SONOS Is it possible that you can add information about the year a song or album was released when it opens, that's a feature YouSee has in their app that is really good and I miss it in your app? Best regards from a happy user of your fantastic products. :)Stephan

Hi In the last week or so, Plex has stopped working in Sonos. You can see all the library items but the songs won’t play. I have done everything, including overhauling my network and doing a clean install of Plex on my QNAP NAS. I have spent days trying to troubleshoot this issue but so far, nothing. So I am wondering if anyone else might be having this issue, and has it been caused by a firmware update either on Plex side or Sonos? I have reached the point where I'm going to either have to ditch Plex or Sonos so that i can enjoy listening to my music without the hassle. I would really appreciate any advice that someone here might have. Thanks Jay

Yes, I realize that this has been asked before, but with macOS losing Rosetta 2 with macOS 28, coming out in 2027, is there any chance of the desktop Sonos app being ported to Apple silicon?I primarily use the macOS app, and am not really looking forward to relying on the web app, since I live in an area with poor internet availability.

I have a living room TV with a Sonos sound bar base and two small Sonos speakers All attached to each other. I want to set up a bedroom TV with a Sonos room that is not linked to the living room TV. How do I do this?

I just put up my new Frame TV and Connected my Arc Ultra to the TV via Bluetooth. But I am unable to connect my in ceiling speakers to the system for my surround sound. Any help would be appreciated 

Since the big app fiasco in May 2024 (I think that’s when the disaster happened) I’ve been using the old S2 app on my system and prevented any updated. This was due to me trying the new app on the first day on my iPad and hating it and then removing that and since then only using my Android devices.I’ve kept an eye on things mainly in the areas which I use the system - internet radio and streaming FLAC files from my NAS.Recently though I’ve virtually stopped streaming from my NAS and mainly airplay from my iPAD to the speakers and that is sufficient.I’ve noticed over the last few months that the old app was very laggy mostly communicating with the older play1 speakers.So today I updated to the latest version and whilst I’ve not used it much yet, I think it will be fine for my current uses. I’m not too keen on the user interface but that might just be a case of me getting used to it. I won’t condemn it until I’ve played with it for a couple of months :-)

I just want to access the Sonos 1 App using an old Sonos amp but it keeps reverting to the newer app?

My setup is an Arc Ultra with rear 300s and a sub gen 3, routed through earc from a Samsung s95f tv. I am having a really hard time getting a useable surround sound balance when playing games on the ps5 or switch 2, which are both configured using lpcm 5.1 for positional surround with minimal latency. I’ve narrowed down the main issue to the surround balancing that seems to occur between the Arc Ultra and the surround satellites, where the system seems to always want to use the arc to boost the surrounds even when it makes no sense. in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth for example, if I rotate the camera around so a sound source goes from directly in front of me to directly behind me I can hear it move from the center to the side and then to the back, except as it moves to the back the side is always firing just as loud as it was while the object was mostly in front of me so now the overall volume of the source is basically doubled as it comes out of multiple speak

Hi everyone,I’m currently planning out a Sonos system for my new living area and would love some expert eyes on the layout. It's a very open, airy space with a vaulted ceiling and a massive floor-to-ceiling window wall on one side, which I know can be a nightmare for acoustics.I’m trying to figure out the best placement for a cohesive soundstage. Here is the current setup/plan:I’m planning on a soundbar (likely an Arc) under the TV and a subwoofer. As you can see in the photos, the room is quite deep. I’ll answer the Title of this post (which is posed as a question) in one word which IMO is  “None”.Sonos prefers a wireless environment whenever possible. Today’s routers are more robust with increased internal storage, gigabit RAM and top-end chipsets (i.e. processors). WiFi 7 routers are the growing trend which allows more information to be pushed through at faster speeds. However, you don’t need a WiFi 7 capable router to enjoy Sonos. Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 5 routers are fine. Only upgrade if you are noticing more drops than normal on an otherwise stable network. I purchased the BK 402A and it is not outputting sound through my Sonos soundbar. It seems that the audio output is not working.The equipment I have is: a Sonos Arc Ultra soundbar, an Optoma UHD38x projector, and an Apple TV 4K.I connected the projector to OUT1 (eARC), the Sonos soundbar to INPUT eARC1, and the Apple TV to INPUT 2. I’m still pretty new to Sonos. I’ve set up two home theaters in my house, one upstairs and one downstairs. Downstairs I have an arc ultra, a mini sub and two era 100s. Upstairs I have a beam, a mini sub and two era 100s. I have a couple of era 300s but I haven’t unboxed yet because I’m trying to decide where I want to use them. I was chatting with a neighbor who told me that she bought some Sonos speakers that were used once for a Super Bowl party, then put back into their boxes, never to be used again. She didn’t really know what kind of speakers she had, but I took a peek and it’s an arc a sub and two Sonos ones. They look and sound perfect. She plans to put them on marketplace for $700 to recoup about half of what she paid, but said she’s let me have them for $450. My questions is whether I can use this equipment with my newer speakers?I don’t need another arc but I could use the Sonos ones in my office, but, having a sub sounds is what has me considering this. Sonos peeps - can interested parties (of which there are many) get an update or timeline on when we can expect Sonos to add the option to see song lyrics in the app? I don’t like having to cheat on Sonos and use other apps to see lyrics when I channel my inner best singer ever fantasy!  Many thanks!

Hello,  I dont see any reason why the other Topic was closed. Refering to I will not accept the fact that this is just closed to say “Just put it in same VLAN”. This is far more like a F*** O*** statement towards your customers. The previous models, were pretty fine working, untill the ERA has been released. How hard is it to listen also to your customers who wants to secure their enviroment and put things in different VLANS?  If this is not being fixed in the coming months, our stores in the Netherlands (35+), will not be onboarded with SONOS setups. To be honest, I still want this to get to work, but if this will stay like this, there is no other choice to see other brands. This is not a threat or a warning, just the facts.  Hope that someone from SONOS reads this actually.
