Connecting Play:1 to new wifi

Hi all. I have a Sonos Play: 1 system at my house. I recently purchased a new router (a Netgear Nighthawk C7000), and I am having trouble getting my Sonos to connect. I follow all the steps on the Sonos app, and at the end I get an error message saying there was a problem trying to connect. No other information is given. Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

Probably the easiest method is to connect the PLAY:1 temporarily to the router with an Ethernet cable. It should then show up in the controller, and you can choose to change the network settings as desired.

Thank you, this worked!

Happy to be of assistance, enjoy your Sonos!
