Hi, Another update, another problem.  Not sure where the issue lies, but within the Desktop app today, I noticed that my playlists didn’t display all tracks (around 450).  I opened Amazon’s Music app, and matched it to around 220 showing in Sonos.“ah well”, I thought, “I’ll just use the Android app instead”.  Same in there too…I see the service status for the Amazon service is green, so ‘all good’ apparently, hence the ask. Is this a new known issue introduced?  Is there an ETA on a fix for this? Thanks

I’m getting a message on my MacBook that the Sonos app will soon need to be upgraded because support for apps built for the Intel processors are being phased out. I have Sonos app version 17.2 and MacOS 26.4.1. Is a newer version of the Sonos app available?

In my front room, I run the TV audio through a Fire Cube. I have two Sonos Amps connected by HDMI-eArc.  One of the Amps powers a pair of front L/R main speakers and the second Sonos Amp is connected to a pair of in-ceiling rear speakers.I have used this setup with no issues for over a year now until recently I started having issues with the Fire Cube losing internet connection sporadially.  To test whether or not it was the Fire Cube or if it was something else, I swapped out a different Fire Cube from my Master Bedroom (MBR).I took the Fire Cube from my MBR and connected it to my front room TV.  Everything works fine, the sound comes on through my Sonos Amps EXCEPT now I am not able to control the volume of the Sonos Amps using the little Fire Cube remote.  The volume is adjustable through the Sonos ap, but that is not ideal.Is there some setting on the Fire Cube that I need to adjust so that I can adjust the Sonos Amps volume using the Fire Cube’s remote?

I have a few questions regarding how Headphone Linking, TV Audio Swap, and app control are going to work  for Ace Ultra in a couple different situations.Say you have a Sonos System with the following rooms setup.Room 1 - Arc UltraRoom 2 - Era 100Room 3 - Era 300Room 4 - Ace Ultra Scenario 1 -Action - Room 1 is playing TV Audio.  While in room 1, with the  Ace Ultra, press (hold) the content key to transfer TV audio to the Ace Ultra.  Audio stops on Room 1 and plays on the Ace Ultra.    Press the content key again while still in room 1.Result  - Audio stops on Ace Ultra and returns to room 1.  Standard TV Swap scenario. Scenario 2 -Action - Room 1 is playing TV Audio.  While in room 1, with the  Ace Ultra, press (hold) the content key to transfer TV audio to the Ace Ultra.  Audio stops on Room 1 and plays on the Ace Ultra.    Move to room 2 and press the content key.Result  - Audio stops on Ace Ultra and returns to room 1? (or does TV audio transfer to room 2?) Scenario 3 -Action - Room

Feature suggestion: I don't understand why the equaliser and surround sound settings are not quickly available from the 'now playing' panel. When you are seeing what you are playing, that's when you might want to adjust sound/surround settings - it's the natural place for it - not hidden away deep in the settigns four or five clicks away. Makes zero sense to me. Please fix this!

Hi everyone, I was wondering if it would be possible for the Sonos app to use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to detect which Sonos speaker is physically closest to your smartphone when you open the app.For example, if I walk into the kitchen and open the Sonos app, it could detect that the kitchen speaker is the closest one and automatically show the Now Playing screen for that speaker, instead of showing the speaker or room that I had previously selected.The idea would be to make the app more context-aware: when you open it, the speaker you're most likely trying to control is often the one physically closest to you.Ideally, this could be an optional feature in the Sonos app settings, so users could choose whether they want this behavior or prefer the current behavior of keeping the previously selected speaker/room.For example, there could be a setting like “Automatically select nearest speaker” that could simply be enabled or disabled.BLE could potentially be used for proximity detection

I've been a Sonos customer for over 14 years, and I feel compelled to share my experience with the Sonos app, because frankly, it continues to be one of the most frustrating pieces of software I use on a regular basis.Let me start by saying that I love the hardware. IDEA 1:For a home theatre setup I have an Arc Ultra, Era 300s as surrounds and a Sub Gen 3 I was thinking about how Night mode could be improved in a way to make the sound closer to you adding a feature where you can send the sound only to your surround speakers as I use Night mode at low Volume it’s hard to hear so I reckon if some how you can transmit the audio just to your surrounds as they sit closer to you then the soundbar, to me it just makes sense to have a feature like that. IDEA 2:i tend to adjust EQ,Surround,Sub,Height levels a lot when going from watching movies/TV shows to then listening to music I hope I’m not the only one doing that 😂. I was thinking why should we keep having to change it constantly. I’m new to Sonos and am looking to setup my workshop with a Sonos system that will give smooth and immersive sound throughout.  I’m thinking potentially four Era 100 speakers in the corners at about 10’ high and either another pair of 100’s or a pair of 300’s in the middle firing towards the center. The workshop is 50’x80’ with 16’ walls and 27’ peaked open ceiling.  Walls are insulated metal panels so will likely have high reflectivity, but the space has relatively low to moderate slap echo.  One of the short sides is drywall with fully OSB sheeting behind and full rockwool insulation, which might explain some reduction in echo.I’d like to be able to start with a pair or four speakers and then add to them to spread expense.  I figure I’ll eventually have to add a subwoofer as well at some point.  Not having any experience with Sonos, I’m open to suggestions about what to purchase and use in such an application.  I ordered two Era 100SL speakers to start, but could always return them i

Ok, so I heard that Sonosequencer (iphone aop) could allow you to connect a second sub mini to your main system (In my case, an arc, two era 100’s and the first sub mini). I went ahead and bought a 2nd sub mini and tried it out.  It took some time, but the Sonosequencer app finally reconized the 2nd sub and I connected it.  It sounded AMAZING!  Whats even cooler, is that both sub minis appeared in the native Sonos app and could be both controlled (gain, etc.)I was ready to keep it enjoy this new setup, but my experience told me to make sure that if it got mangled somehow, I could always get the whole system back up and running  again with two sub minis. The second time was NOT a charm, and the Sonosequencer app could not ever find the 2nd sub.Bottom line:  I had two sub minis working with my system and LOVED it, but since it’s not reliable to set up with Sonosequencer, I’m returning the 2nd sub mini and getting my $500 back.Just reminded me how disappointing it is that Sonos does not s

I’ve read through the website, and it still looks like that the new headphones can’t share audio (ie connecting 2 sets of headphones to 1 device). We use this all the time, so I was really hoping the updated headphones would support it. However, it looks like this still isn’t the case. Is this correct? If so, it looks like I will have to stick to other brands still

Hey guys, I've used a SONOS Playbar for years. Recently, I upgraded to a Beam Gen 2 because of the newer tech and connections. Sadly, the Beam 2 doesn't sound as good as I hoped, and Dolby Atmos isn't giving me that full immersion even while having Play 1's as rear surrounds and Sub gen 4 in the system. Now I'm thinking of returning it and going for the Arc Ultra, but since the Beam Ultra was just announced, I'm torn between those two. The new Beam Ultra has a bunch of upgrades, including upward-firing drivers for Dolby Atmos immersion and I also wonder if new sound architecture might be better than the Arc Ultra? I don't care much about AI functions; I just want the best sound quality and immersion. What do you think I should do?

First I'll say that this system was awesome when I first got it and everything worked great for the first few months (though I've always found the app to be very clunky and tough to use). Then everything started to crumble.The connectivity between it and spotify is really bad/ not working at all at the moment.It won't hold a connection with the arc ultra. Can't figure it out. The sub audio drops out constantly. Can't figure it out. Linking speakers to the arc only sometimes works and only some of the speakers.The move 2 went rogue for a few days a month ago and after resetting multiple times seems to be working for now.  I have tried factory resetting every device and rebooting my router as all the forums say to do (multiple times). It's still not working. All the devices I have issues with are really close to the router. I'll probably have to make a call during business hours to resolve this? I'm absolutely pissed. What a waste of my time and money. You would think at the premium pric

I'm looking to design a speaker setup in my family room without any additional in-wall/in-ceiling wiring.No one in my family is a particular audiophile, and I'm under no illusions that this setup will provide incredible sound. What I'm looking for is a reasonable setup that provides clear audio for TV/movies/sports and can extend that audio to the in-ceiling speakers in the kitchen. We are putting a Frame TV above the fireplace (I know), so was hoping to skip the soundbar both to let me put the TV a few inches lower and avoid the aesthetic penalty of another device below the TV.As you can see, the space is pretty large as it is open with the kitchen, foyer, and steps. The ceilings are not vaulted, but are 10 feet.Given it's too late to put additional in-wall wiring in, my original concept, as you can see in the floorplan, was to put wireless speakers next to the TV and skip the soundbar. I know I'm dreaming here... But!Can we get a USB dongel, like the Line-In one, that provides a music library share via a plug-in mini SD Card?It would meet so many user's requests. Edit to make it more explicit, I am asking for a device to plug into tne Sonos USB port.There are already a huge number of similar devices to plug into non-Sonos hardware.

So I guess that the new Beam Ultra will not have voice control using Google or Alexa?  I have to ask this, why does Sonos seem to struggle with what seems to be such small things that other companies have no issues with?  Maybe it is time for a more competent company to buy Sonos.

I currently own Arch ultra with Era 300s and Gen 4 woofer is it possible to add other speakers and have a great dolby for my movies and music

I am looking for a speaker to have in my Lanai out int the open that does not have to always be taken in.Power is available. Does Sono’s have one or look for any other suggestion.Thanks Glen

Would love to not have to buy a JBL party box.  I want to buy Sonos,  but they need to make a true outdoor party box.

I have 20 ft ceilings in my bathroom - the bathroom is 10 x 14 it’s basically an open box, but I have a “shelf” about 10 feet up and goes around two thirds of the bathroom.  I have a mini sub and two Era 100 SL speakers in the bedroom right outside the bathroom.  I wanted advice on if I should get the Era 300 and put it on the “shelf” in the bathroom for a fuller sound?  I put one of the Era 100 speakers in the bathroom and it sounds hollow….  I guess I can put the two Era 100 SL’s in the bathroom….  But then I I’d have to get two more speakers for the bedroom….   I’m open for any advice.

The Issue We're Facing: Under heavy concurrent load spikes, background POST webhook listener sockets occasionally report HTTP 504 gateway timeout responses before acknowledging payload completion. Direct REST API requests to the same remote host resolve normally under 150ms thresholds. Are there recommended network socket keep-alive settings or queue worker retries to prevent connection drops during high-volume audio metadata syncs? Hi allI am waiting the delivery of a Beam 2, Mini sub and 2x Era100s as an undated of my Canton DM55. The Beam and Sub with go under the TV sub either side or behind the cabinet, any advice appreciated. the main question is where do I put the rear surrounds? The main seating is on the brown sofa near the book case and the striped chair. there is a side table to the left of the sofa and a bookcase with CDs to the right of the chair. Would that work of should I look at the top of the main bookcase?any guidance or thoughts please.
