Hi everyone, Apologies if this has been answered somewhere already. I’ve read a bunch of related posts and feel like I’m still not sure if what I’m hoping for is possible (or if my idea is the best solution). I have an existing surround sound setup with my tv - Beam connected to tv via HDMI cable, which is then grouped to two Era 100s. I am hoping to add my turntable (with built-in phono preamp) into the mix to play out of those 3 speakers (and a separate Sonos One in my bedroom) without adding any more speakers. It seems like that should be possible by connecting a Port to the turntable. But will I be able to use the Beam and 2 Era 100s for both listening to music on the turntable, and for watching tv (not at the same time)? Some posts have brought up latency issues/tv audio no longer lining up with the picture. But will that happen if the tv isn’t connected to Port, though the Beam and Era 100s would be? Can I even pull off this setup, essentially having two separate sources (the t
When using the Sonos app on ios i have been unable to add imported playlists to the queue. I can add individual tracks from an imported playlist, and i can add all tracks from an artist, album etc. it’s just imported playlists. I can however add imported playlists via the web app and the app on Windows and OSX. The imported playlists are part of an xml file exported from Apple Music. I know I have previously been able to do this. Any thoughts?
The Sonos app on an Amazon Fire tablet running Fire OS version 7 has limited capabilities. When you open the Sonos app you get the comforting message “App features are limited … Update your mobile devices OS to access all app features”. (Playback is still supported, so that is great!) This is in spite of the fact that Sonos Support appears to indicate that Fire OS 7 is, in fact, a supported OS (https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/sonos-app-requirements). Does anyone know if the Sonos app is FULLY supported on Fire OS 8? Wondering if a new Fire tablet is in order (if OS 8 is supported) or if I need to move to a different product line entirely for my tablets.
I ended up with my Era-300s sitting behind an inch high trim piece, didn't hurt the sound but didn't look great. As the stands here would be out of sight appearance wasn't a big problem, short, sturdy and a solid mount were though.Looked at a number on Amazon and picked inexpensive ones, pretty quick delivery from Nancheng, CN but they are very well made and attractive. Several similar ones are available at varying prices and delivery speed. The ones I bought: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FW7Y29ZKConsidered: (Comments are for my space)Look similar, cost more: https://www.amazon.com/HeyMoonTong-Acrylic-Table-Wireless-Speaker/dp/B0C4HJ3P95/ref=sr_1_4Nice but too tall: https://www.amazon.com/Wooden-Desktop-Speaker-Compatible-Decorations/dp/B0CJRKKBC3/ref=sr_1_3Too short: https://www.amazon.com/lmrwTO-Desktop-Speaker-Compatible-Management/dp/B0GYRJL4Q6/ref=sr_1_5_sspaNice, screw mounts too:https://www.amazon.com/Flexson-Stand-Sonos-Black-Single/dp/B0D2RXKGBC/ref=sr_1_8 Not what I was lookin

Moderator Note: Translation by Google Translate- Hello—a quick call for help! :)I’m a complete beginner when it comes to this stuff...For my living room (approx. 30 m²), I’d like to get the Arc soundbar, paired with two Era 100 speakers placed behind my sofa. (I’ll be using this solely for movies and TV series, just occasionally.) Would that be more than enough? I’m really torn about whether or not to get the subwoofer, so I’d love to hear some opinions on that.Additiona
Good morning, everyone.I’m hoping to get some insight from the group regarding Atmos soundbars. Specifically, how much the driver firing angles actually impact real‑world Atmos performance in a built‑in entertainment center. Quick backstory: My wife wanted a renovation that involved removing a window and building a full wall entertainment center. I wasn’t exactly thrilled, but we compromised. She got me to build her entertainment center, and I get to upgrade my classic entertainment setup. current Sonos setup: Playbar, One SLs, and a Gen 1 Sub.With the new entertainment center came the “need” for a new TV, so we installed a 75” Sony Bravia 9 to replace the old 950G. The cabinet opening for the TV and Playbar provides 16" of vertical clearance from the bottom (above the fireplace) to the bottom of the TV. The full cavity measures 84" wide, 56.5" tall, and 13.5" deep. Now I’m considering upgrading to the Sonos Immersive set ( Arc Ultra, Era 300’s, and Sub 4) , but here’s my concern: Wil
I’ve had Apple App Store app version 8.5.012 since the day it was available.I have not yet received the feature to disable SonosNet.When will the rollout of the feature to disable SonosNet be complete?Others mentioned some ways to “force” the feature to appear, and I’ve tried them all multiple times. It’s now June 5, and I still don’t have the feature. I’ve got a Beam with surrounds, and I’ve had an ethernet cable dangling right behind it ready to plug in for YEARS.

I have a connect amp (bought in 2016) that I used to have linked to my old hi fi system that linked to my surround sound so that I couldplay vinyl through the surround sound. how do I set this up again as it doesn’t seem to now work. any advice appreciated.
Hi everyone,I’m trying to decide between the Era 100s and Era 300s for my theater room to pair with a Arc Ultra and likely a sub under my sectional, was hoping to get some feedback on my setup. As the attached image shows, the TV is across from the longer side of the sectional, and there are two windows directly behind the couch. The picture doesn’t really show it, but the windows are recessed about 10 inches. The black boxes behind the sectional on the window sill at ear level are where I’d ideally like to place the speakers. My thought was to use the window sills since there’s enough room for either setup. The speakers would have roughly 2–4 inches of space behind them, about 10 inches on each side if I went with the Era 300s (and even more space with the Era 100s), plus plenty of room above them. The sill height lines up almost perfectly with ear level, and the sectional sits directly against the wall.Given this layout, do you think the Era 100s or Era 300s would work better? One thin
Hi All, If anyone could advise please. I am very interested in improving home cinema for the lounge. Torn between beam and arc ultra. My lounge is 8.32 meter length, 3.76 metre width. I sit width ways facing tv (so just under 3.76 meter to where sound bars will be).As the room is long so I have large windows about 2 meter to the right of sofa and French doors about 5 meter to right of me.I do not need major base and im cautious about blasting the neighbour with noise so I don't think I will got beyond 50-60% volumeDoes anyone have experience with this layout. I am concerned the psycoacoustic and immersion will be lost due to distance French doors and the sound will not be good. Also anyone had lip sync issues with beam or ultra? Planning to get new tv this year but I hear hicense or tcl have hand shake issues to. May go lg or sony but any feed back on lip sync would be appreciated. Thank you
I have factory reset my old Play 1s, can I now gift these to my daughter to set up in her new home on her own account/wifi network?
Hi, I have issues with the alarm settings on Android that made it frustrating to use.- Even when select "Include Grouped Rooms", the music does not play on all speakers (sometimes only the one selected, sometimes 2 out of 3).- When leaving the Alarm menu with the "X" button, the alert message "Your changes have not been saved" is displayed even when no changes were made. It makes it an extra step when just checking the current parameters of the alarm without applying any change.- On the other hand, when leaving the alarm by sliding down, the alert message is never displayed making it confusing if the changes were saved or not. Thanks!
I have been audiophile all my life and I just want to say this is by far the best speaker I have ever owned. Having default settings on 0 treble and 0 bass with loudness turned on with truplay activated. This is all you need once again thanks sonos and the team for creating something out of this world
I have 5 older Sonos speakers, all require being plugged in, If I want to add speakers can I buy the newer wireless and will they all be able to be grouped together and played at the same time? Thank you!
Hey, Pic is Ai but I have this unit which im thinking of resting arc ultra. Tv will be on wall. My partner does child care so im trying to figure out protection for the arc during day time. I was thinking if building a wooden case to go over it during day time and when it not in use. Anyone got any better ideas. You may ask why not put on the wall with tv. That leads me to second question.Im looking for tv to go on a fireplace or pull down tv mount thereby I can pull tv out a bit and lower the height. There are not that many mounts out there with lots only got a few reviews and untested. Anyone know a reasonable price secure/sturdy tv drop down mount. Please note im in UK so mountle mount does not ship to uk unfortunately. Just to add most of the mounts don't do brackets for soundbar too. So if I put soundbar on wall, when I pull down tv it will cover the bar which is a problem. Thanks all
When someone borrows my sonos move, can they just download the app and connect via Bluetooth or do they need my login info?
How will I be able to update my music library when the desktop app will no longer be supported on Apple Silicon Macs? I don’t see this function within the IOS app.
I am pretty cdrtain this has been asked before but I cannot find any reference to it so here goes:-My HDMI cable connecting my LG TV to my Sonos Beam has developed a fault (picture below), what is the best high speed HDMI cable that is compatible with my system please?
Would there be any benefit in having a 9 band EQ in front of my Sonos?...Definitive Technology powered sub and Definitive Tech Mythos speakers...
As the title suggest, what’s the best pipe organ to get that fat juicy 20Hz response?
I need 2 different set up to:1. Listen , stream musicfor immersive and soundstage sound with the 2 era 100 and sub mini2. Watching ,movies – with arc, 2 era 100 as surround and sub miniPlease advise how to proceed in the app to get best possible sound
I own roughly $2,800 worth of current-generation Sonos hardware:- 9 × Sonos One SL- 1 × Sonos Sub- 1 × Sonos Play:3 All on the same LAN as a self-hosted music server (Navidrome, whichspeaks the Subsonic API). Every one of these speakers is physicallycapable of streaming HTTP audio from that server, and Sonos used tosupport exactly this through the custom music service / SMAPImechanism plus the Sonos Desktop Controller.I would like a supported, first-party way to add my local music serveras a music service on these speakers, without: - exposing my private music server to the public internet, - paying for a third-party iOS controller app to do the registration, - or running discontinued Sonos Desktop Controller software. Here is what I have already tried and why each path is currently blocked: 1. Auto-register via SMAPI from a local bonob bridge on my LAN (10.0.1.204): the speakers' /xml/device_description.xml is reachable, but the SOAP registration call to port 1400 is re
Hi Sonos,I was wondering, now that Apple has allowed 3rd party devices to stream Dolby Atmos over Airplay 2, you were going to add this support to the Sonos speakers.
I have a Dining Room/Kitchen room, and open to that is the adjacent Living Room. Currently I have two Sonos Ones paired with an original Sub. I have ordered a Beam 2/mini-sub/2 Era 100’s for the Living Room, which is where the TV is. It is sad that Sonos does not let me share the Sub with Both rooms, but what are you going to do? My guess is that the original room DR/K, which is where I play music from Spotfiy, would benefit most from the Era 100s. If that were true, then I would make that room with the Era 100s and the original Sub. The Beam, for the TV room, would be paired with the mini-Sub and the Ones. Do you think this is sound reasoning? Finally, would it ever be a good idea, musically, to play music to both rooms simultaneously? Each room is about 12’ x 12’
