I am the main account holder, when on the sono app, when I search for a specific song, it doesn't play it, it selects artist of similar kind or same atlrtiwt but didn't song. This feature I expect if it was someone in my household sharing my account as a 2nd person but not the main account holder. Being the bill payer I expect to be able to play what I want. Any help appreciated
Out of the blue, my S2 system no longer connects to My Cloud, where all my digital music files are stored. The drive itself is fine and functions independently. When I select My Cloud Home I get an error message telling me the My Cloud account needs to be reauthorized. When I click ‘reauthorize’ it brings up a new screen telling me my account cannot be found. Interestingly, when I go the the list of a-z Music Services listed in the system menu My Cloud Home is not there. I’ve got used to the seemingly endless full outages with my cloud services on sonos but according to the website, everything is online.
So I've been an avid Pandora user for decades. Now that I've gone 100% Sonos I'm having an issue.I can't use the Pandora app and cast to my system. I've tried uninstalling Pandora. It's on the same network as Sonos. I DON'T like using Pandora through Sonos because there's not as much functionality. For example can't see song lyrics or history of what's played in the current session. I'm using all the latest Sonos products and the S2 app. Please help🤔
The Samsung Remote suddenly stoped working (28/9/23). Worked for years, 2021 Samsung Q90 tv. Tried changing battery in remote, and factory reset Playbar without luck. Was able to change volume a few times, and also re-connect in the app. But now it’s nothing. Also tried deleting universal remote and setting it up again. any body els experience this?
usually reliable sound and playback on my play:3 speaker until recently. now its a daily event and multiple times making the system unusable in the main.nothing has changed in terms of location of the speaker or router; have done a router reboot, power off/on of play3 as per previous comments on similar issues. what is the underlying issue here, what has changed & what is the resolution to return to the good user experience previous? have submitted diagnostics : 706080232 Moderator edit: changed “raised support case” to “submitted diagnostics”

I think this topic may have been raised about two years ago but wonder if anyone has any further updates.I have a high rez subscription to Qobuz but am disappointing to find out that any music file from Qobuz that is not native 24/48kHz will get truncated to 16/44.1 kHz file stream. I understand this is to do with backward compatibility with older speakers on the S2 platform. As I don’t have any speakers older than 2 years , it’s a real bummer.. No problems with non Sonos equipment I have which decodes at the native resolution beautifully. Would love Sonos to enable this to add to all the other positives in owning their speakers . Anyone has any further insider updates on this ?
Hi. I've seen some people describing loud sound pop and Audio loss when playing Dolby Atmos from Apple TV 4K and Sonos Arc. I don't experience loud pop, but I do experience Audio loss for approx. 1 second at random places when watching content with Dolby Atmos. My setup in short is: Apple TV 4K -> [Belkin High-Speed 4K/8K cable] -> Samsung QE75 [eArc] <- [Sonos cable] Sonos Arc (WiFi: One + One SL + Sub )I've been in contact with Sonos support Norway, and we've done some troubleshooting, but we haven't found a solution yet.My observations so far:Sound drops out for 1 second when playing content with Dolby Atmos from tv, HBO Max or Netflix from Apple TV 4K. Sound does NOT drop out when playing content with Dolby Atmos from tv, HBO Max or Netflix directly from Samsung TV. Once Dolby Atmos sound completely disappeared when I was watching a movie with Dolby Atmos. Every content I played from Apple TV with Dolby Atmos consistently had no sound. Tried tv, HBO Max, Netflix and demo
When I flick off the Sonos app on Android I want it to close. Instead I get this useless notification that says something like -- stopping the app will may interrupt playback notifications. And that notification is persistent (can't be flicked off). This makes me suspicious the Sonos app is running in the background monitoring my activity. How can I close Sonos and have it be inactive like a well behaved app (aside from doing a Fore Stop)?
I changed my configuration and removed some speakers from my system. When I turned them off they stayed in the app and there was only the option to “hide” them, but it didn’t work. I checked this board for the steps but didn’t find a solution, I just went through it with chat support and the below method worked. Factory reset the speaker Open the sonos app A popup will come asking you to “Add” this “new speaker Close out of the pop-up, don’t add it. Restart the app. This worked for me, the old speaker is now gone from the app. The speaker I did it on was a roam. I wish I had known this before I shipped the other one I had and sold because apparently, I have to wait for that one to be activated by another user before it can be removed from my app.
Looking to help my brother with a Sonos set up. He has a Sony TV in his living room and two ceiling speakers in his adjacent kitchen (wired to basement). He would like to be able to say, for example, to his Alexa device (Echo or Refrigerator) to play the sound from the TV into the Kitchen. How can this best be done?I was thinking he may need to get a Sonos Arc for the TV room and a Sonos Amp to power the ceiling speakers. The Arc could always be used for when watching TV and he could optionally enable the Sonos Amp / ceiling speakers in the kitchen when he wants to. Is there an easy way for him to be able to enable/disable playing the TV through the kitchen speakers? (It is not really practical to run new / additional cables.) And it would be ideal to be able to say Alexa play the TV through the Kitchen speakers or something like that. Thanks in advance for your support and ideas.
So on Android App version 15.8, but not sure when this first went wrong as I don’t use the Music Library a lot. The App appears to have folder naming issues but only on some folders, Johnny Cash has a nice mix of good and bad ones so I used it as my example.Thinking it might be an indexing issue I deleted the Library and re-added it, no changes that I could see.Got distracted by other problems and when I got to my computer today I noticed the Noson app was showing the right folder names. Can someone at Sonos see if there is anything in the Diagnostic?Diagnostic Number: 1983430384I do have a couple Rooms powered down right now, hopefully unrelated to the issue. App Folders ViewApp Now Playing view Folder view from Noson app
We were gone from Sept 1-22 and when we returned, all our Play Ones require us to turn the volume from the normal 30-40 to 60 or higher just to hear people talking. What happened while we were gone? Why the change? We are running the app on iPhones app version 15.8.1 and Sonos OS version S2.
Is there a way to connect wireless headphones to a Sonos system? I have a Sonos Port, a number of Sonos speakers, only one of which has Bluetooth capability (Sonos Move). I recently purchased a Bluetooth transmitter (Avantree Oasis Plus) hoping i could connect it to the Sonos Port, pair my headphones to the transmitter, effectively turning my headphones into speakers. Thanks
Hi Sonos community! In the middle of my renovation project it is now time for the wiring, thus making it neccesary to finish my plan for the Sonos audio set-up. Mainly because I prefer to use wall mounts. My living room and kitchen/dining are semi-open connected. It is divided with sliding (ensuite) doors which are open for about 99% op the time but are flanked with big cabinets. For the living room I am quite sure I will be going for an Arc (blue), Sub gen3 (red) and twe Era 300's (green). The sub will probably be placed in an open cabinet because this cabinet will be a part of still to be designed cinematic wall. I love watching movies and listen to music all the time. Especially while cooking I really would like to have decent sound including the lower frequencies. The missing puzzle is regarding the kitchen and dining room as to what is the best extention of the living room. Standing behind the cooking island, will I still have a good bass coming from the Sub while playing multi-roo
New here. I have two rooms set up (one has a single Sonos One, other has a Sonos Move and Beam). Whenever I tell Alexa on the One to play a song on Amazon Music, it plays on the One and the Beam simultaneously. I’ve been looking around trying to figure out why and I’m drawing a blank. I don’t have any multi room setups, I’ve enabled and disabled the Alexa skill multiple times and it just keeps doing it. Any advice on this would be great
Any one else having issues with the brand new move 2? I can connect bluetooth after a few tries to the project vte bt. I have to turn the Bluetooth off on the move 2, turn the bt switch on my turntable and then turn on bt pairing on the move 2 and actually connects and stays connected. check Sonos app on phone and shows connected. play a record and no sound. spent almost 2 hours trouble shooting with Sonos customer service (kind of a joke some tech going through the steps off their pre set guide) with the final outcome being that my bt device needs a screen to select the speaker (even though its already showing connected). I was then told I need to contact pro-ject to resolve the issue. which I did and they said its surely a software issue with the move 2 since bt 5.0 is suppose to be backwards compatible with bt 3.0 (the turntable). Now my roam has no problem connecting and playing music through wifi to my whole system. When move 2 was released I presale purchased because I would have
