Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

It keeps asking for location and accuracy 

I store all my music on my Mac.  I’m concerned as I don’t see support planned for a native Mac app.  Intel support is ending soon.  How will Sonos access the music on my Mac without a native app?  

I have bought 2 x Era 100s to connect to my Beam1 to use not as surround sounds but as additional speakers. The Era play but I can not get the Beam tomplay as the group or injunction with the Eras? nothing Support AI suggests works?

My app for backing up my music takes about 3 minutes.  Indexing my library in Sonos app takes an hour and a half?  How come it takes so long?

Hi.  I’m curious if anyone out there has any current experience successfully installing the Sonos Controller in a Linux based OS, specifically Zorin.  I say “current” because almost every thing I’ve found on this subject is from some years ago, so just looking for something hopefully a bit more current.I have an old W10 laptop converted to Zorin OS, Zorin because it’s the most Windows like, they say.  When it was running W10 I could run the Sonos Controller and I play music through our Sonos ARC.  I’d like to be able to do that with Zorin if possible.  With the Zorin OS I’ve been able to a point in the installation process where it almost completes the installation but but fails with the following: Any thoughts, comments or questions would be appreciated.  Thank you.

I want to use audio, radio stream, all audio things on my Thinkpad laptop as an audio source for my 2.1 amp system…. (from usb-c out on computer to optical in on sonos)….is this possible? If so how please?Thanks you…!!!!…..Bill Lutz

I have a Samsung sound bar and subwoofer Bluetooth… I was hoping to pair a couple era 100’s to broaden my Samsung surround system for a large family room. Can they be paired to the Samsung soundbar which is paired via Bluetooth to the Samsung tv?

I can't add Imported Playlists to the queue in the Android app from my Music Library.  This was working previously in the Android app.  Doing the same Imported Playlist in the Windows version of Sonos app is working without issue so it is not an issue with the Playlist.The Android app can see the tracks in the playlist, but if I click on the play or shuffle icon it just spins away doing nothing. If I try to add or replace the queue with the tracks from the playlist it just spins.If I click on the three dots next to.the track and select Play Now, the track plays.This is broken for even Imported Playlists with 1 track.Is this a known issue that's been broken in a recent app update? I have searched but can't see anything about imported playlists broken on Android recently.Android App Version:  83.01.9

Hi there! I am looking for easy to set up  speakers with easy streaming for a Yoga/Pilates Studio - with good and well balanced sound across the room. Ideally, the sound quality should be the same in the whole room and not sound “cheap”. The soundsytem doesnt have to be too loud, except maybe in the “power pilates” class i turn it up a little more, but still not like a “party” atmosphere, the instructors should still be heard over the music :)The room is ~45-50m2  (5,50 x 9m).  Height is around  2,70-2,80mOne of the longer side walls is glass. Should I go for 1 Era 300 or 2 Era 100s?(Or 2 Era 300s? But little out of budget tbh) And which placement would be ideal for the Era 300 vs 2 Era 100s?Thanks in advance, i dont know much about speaker system so anything helps at this point.  

Hi everyone,I’m experiencing a serious and fully reproducible issue with my Sonos Ace headphones when using the official USB-C → 3.5mm cable provided in the box. I’m posting here to understand whether this is a known issue and if there is any official guidance or fix.What’s happening When using the headphones with the USB-C → 3.5mm cable, I hear constant electrical noise / buzzing / interference. Hi all I’m getting an arc ultra for my tv set up , so my existing beam 2 becomes redundant in tv room , and i want to move it to existing other room that has currently 100 stereo pair + sub mini .  this is just  music, nothing is hooked to hdmi - I’m really Not sure how to set up correctly .  thanks 

I have upgraded my broadband with a new router provided by Vodafone. I had to reconnect my Sonos system to the new configuration/wifi name. Majority of Sonos connected without any issues, mini sub and two play ones used as surrounds are proving to be as stubborn as it’s possible to be. The play ones can be added as normal to the surround option and then after 15 seconds become disconnected and have to be factory reset in order get them to connect to the system again. Same with the Sub only it says it’s been “added to my system but might not show up, if so unplug and plug in and continue in settings” needless to say this does nothing, it doesn’t show and is not connected. The sub will connect only if I connect direct to the router with a cable but as soon as the cable is removed the sub disconnects. I’m going round and round in circles and getting absolutely nowhere. The sound bar for my set up is a Sonos beam which is working fine.I have factory reset everything a

I’m registered in the developer portal (integration.sonos.com) and successfully registered integration app.   When we tried to login to the Developer Portal yesterday and also connect to api.sonos.com., we getting a login error on of our Sonos accounts saying that are “email or password are incorrect, please try again”.    I reported it already to the 24/7 support agent, but seems I am the first reporting the issue yesterday and also sent  detailed email to developer-feedback@sonos.com - even if it occurred already an hour ago and is still ongoing.    It appears like a misconfigured Okta config on the developer site (getting started link) and the api.Sonos.com pages. Do others experience same issue, or does the login or account registration or password reset on developer.sonos.com / integration.sonos.com work for you?

SONOS closed this conversation on the community. YET , two years later the issue still exists. Has anyone actually found a fix? And why has SONOS screwed this ump so bad then NOT fix it? See all the screenshots in the closed conversation. I have reset, re-synched, signed in/out, powered up/down  everything.  Is there a real solution? 

I’ve just seen on my Mac (running Tahoe 26.4.1) that the version of Sonos app I have on my computer will not open in future release of MacOS. Running Sonos S2 version 17.2. (the message directs me to an apple website to learn how to update to Apple Silicon version).I wondered if there will be a solution going forward or is this the end of the app for MacOS?  

Hi there!Does anyone use a CD Transport and external DAC? With your Sonos AMP and Sonos System? I just bout a CD Player with a DAC included, and it has yet to arrive. I am wondering if anyone uses a CD playing that has a DAC or used a Transport &  separate DAC. If you do, do or have you noticed CS’s sounding tons better? We have really been enjoying our Vinyl again, the sound is amazing! I am wondering if you use the Above digital CD player and DAC’s does it compare to playing vinyl, do you notice with the sonos system that CD’s sound just as great? What about with a higher end day and Transport? Is the sound worth it for an upgrade? I would love to hear your digital CD experience with Sonos. I have sonos speakers all over my house, and a couple ceiling ones wired to our AMP as well.Play 1’s, Sub, Play 3, Soundbar, is mostly what we use for music. Turntable is hooked up to a preamp as well. (through a switch box) I am waiting on the Cambridge AXC35 to arrive.

Can the Sonos amp be controlled by Bluetooth or WiFi without using the Sonos amp for anyone to control and connect through blue tooth
