Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

The app on my phone is up to date and I can now save the queue to a playlist but I still cannot  configure the app to sort my music library by album artist (which was supposedly reintroduced in the early December update).Any thoughts on why this seems to be missing?  

if I’m playing my 2 x era 100s and era 300 and try to add my playbar (with sub and surrounds) it shows as connected but no sound. I’ve reset everything more than once and it keeps happening. S2 app.also, the app takes ages (several minutes) to find all devices.

My rear speakers never update, but everything else does.This seems to be a Sonos bug that they refuse to acknowledge.The issue is that from a network perspective the Arc and its subs appear as one entity all having the same MAC address (the arc connects to the network on wifi 2.4GHz and to the subs using a local 5GHz signal that does not go through the router).Come update time there is no network route to the subs, and the arc does not have the smarts to do the update on behalf of the subs.As a work around I have allocated the subs mac address in my router. When the update to the subs fails, I turn off the arc, restart the app, do an update, usually twice, once for each sub, then turn on the arc and we are back working.This is better that resetting subs as a lot of the advice suggests.It would be nice if there someone had a better workaround as it is obviously a network issues, not signal strength, interference etc.

At issue the multiple lines for single compilation Albums that still has not been fixed.I know this has been “answered” multiple times...incorrectly.  Not a feature...a mistake. Music players all over the market work for album compilations, without users having to alter meta data...even free ones...except Sonos.I love Sonos.  I have a library of over 14,000 items.  No I shouldn't have to change those.Please, reconsider correcting the database method that has led to this problem.Thank you for reconsidering.

Apple has released a beta for Apple TV (tvOS 26.4)In this update: "It appears that Apple added this new setting (Continuous Audio Connection), in part, to address complaints from Apple TV users who use Sonos speakers paired with AV receivers. Some users have indicated they hear popping noises or awkwardly low volume levels on certain channels, specifically with 5.1-channel content."When I open my SONOS App it now shows that EVERYTHING I play from ATV is in Dolby Atmos, these are TV programs that I am 100% sure are not played in Atmos.It says: “Apple TV uses a Dolby MAT connection for glitch-free playback across formats. Older receivers may indicate an Atmos connection, but original mixes will not be modified.” I know it's a beta but it will be interesting to follow and see if they fix the bug.The article can be read here: 

Hi’ just received two days ago brand new Sonos Ace headphones I’m having an insane issue while I’m on any type of a call using the aware or NC mode, while I speak randomly I’ll hear a super high pitch noise for a brief second while I talk, it’s extremely loud and unbearable  I’ve updated to latest and also done a full hard reset to the unit ! Nothing has changed I have a brand new iPhone 16 pro max with Sonos app installed This is horrible, why is it happening ? I read on Reddit that people were experiencing similar issues from the cpu frequency being picked up by ANC microphones or something like that. Also when I’m on a call, other people hear me muffled and like I’m in a tunnel, these are expensive premium headphones that shouldn’t be like that I think?  

This has been happening ​​​​​for years. Different phones, desktop or mobile, different zone players, doesn't matter. Ever since one of the updates it has been a constant issue.Today for example I have a bunch of backup alarms set. The first one goes off and I go to access them to turn off the rest and the app shoes no alarms. I have many times set, and many that should be showing as off. … and same thing with setting the alarms… There should be ton of times already there to turn on but it shows none yet when trying to add one it says no more alarms can be set because I’m maxed, which is probably true. I expected to see a ton of complaints on the board when I searched where someone said do xyz so it doesnt happen but seems to be unique to something I am doing or my set up?​​

I currently have an arc with 2 x 1sl’s for surrounds in my lounge and it works fine with the usual tv apps and my Virgin streaming box but when I use the Firestick the some bounces from arc to SL1 surround’s and back

Can someone tell me how i can get the Sonus to always link to the TV as a source.I have two issues:when the TV goes into standby, and then is turned on again, the Beam does not seem to pick p the TV, and the sound goes through the TV speakers. I have to turn off the Sonos, and then turn it on again how do I toggle between streaming music and the TV. If I stream music, and then I want to switch back to TV, I can’t work out how to do thisI can’t see any setting in the app - I have a Sony Bravia  3 TV 

I do not see upgrade credit for my Play:5 Gen 1. Is this not supposed or an error on my account?

Spotify recently added Dolby Atmos for premium service customers. When I play music on my Sonos app is there an indication that Dolby Atmos is playing? I don’t see any indication that the song/album that’s playing is in DA. When I play music from Spotify app on my iPhone on bottom left it shows lossless, not DA.

Hi all, I’m having inconsistent volume control with my setup and would appreciate any advice. Equipment:TV: LG Nano866NA (2020 model)TV software: webOS 04.63.25Soundbar: Sonos Playbar (connected via optical)Remote: LG Magic Remote (also tested with brand new replacement) Issue:The LG on-screen volume graphic appears every time I press volume up/down, but the Playbar responds inconsistently from normal seating distance. If I stand close to the Playbar, volume works reliably. Is anyone in Sonos support aware of the following intermittent AirPlay bug that has been introduced as of iOS 26.2? I'm going to try to figure out the Sonos connections to surrounds. I'm starting with my main Rooms powered up and updated. I also have a Home Theater Room that has been powered down for a month or so which is what I'll be working with first. It has a Beam gen 1, Sub gen 2 and two One SLs.Initially the Room and speakers aren't visible in the Android app, main Room lists or the About page, they have been powered down long enough to be removed.Powering up just the surrounds, they are still not visible in any app lists, but if I do an update check I am told one is needed. I do not have the 2.4 gHz Sonosnet enabled here and the Beam is powered down so they must be connecting to my home Wi-Fi on my 5 gHz band in order for the app to see the update status. The AP access log confirms this connection and shows it became active soon after I powered the surrounds up. I saw that my surrounds and sub were showing as not connected in the app and were just showing up as “product”. These were all working fine until very recently. The arc is still showing up but nothing else is. There is also no sounds coming from the surrounds when I am watching TV. I tried to reset the system and even did a full factory reset on each component including the arc. I started by re-adding the Sonos 1 SL’s each to the app followed by the sub. That worked fine and they were showing up. After I added the arc everything was still showing up happy in the app. Once I connected the surrounds and the sub to the arc they went back to showing as “product” and not being connected with no sound coming out. How do I fix this? It’s infuriating.
