loving my Sonos One SL + Move system - except that when I pause the music and the Move goes to sleep, it doesn’t wake back up. The light comes on, and the buttons respond with little blip noises, but the app doesn’t see it as awake. Tried all of the things the app suggests to do, it just never sees it awake and ready. If I put it back on the charger, it will eventually wake up - but I make it wake up when I want to. I see a similar discussion here on the Roam - anyone else seeing this with the Move?
I have a bluetooth turntable (Sony PS-LX310BT) connected to an Era 100. Everything was working fine and easily until yesterday when there was no sound coming out of the speaker while connected. The speaker still connects as soon as the turntable is on. I’ve reset the speaker. The turntable connects and plays audio with a different speaker connected and my Era 100 plays when connected through my phone and computer, just not sure what’s happening now when the turntable and speaker are connected. They were working together as recently as two days ago.
Hello community ! I recently bought a BEAM Gen 2 and I’m trying to setup it on my laptop. I already read Using Sonos as PC Speakers and How to set up your Sonos Beam on a Windows 10 PC posts but I still have trouble to succeed…I have plugged an USB to S/PDIF DAC and configured it just like on the first steps of the second post I mentioned earlier. I can’t proceed with the step that demand to define “ Dolby Digital “ as “supported formats” since my Windows version seems to be updated compared with the original post and I can’t reach this advanced setting window. But it works very well when I plug some speakers with a jack cable on the DAC so I guess the minimal setup is ok.But when I plug the BEAM to the DAC via the optical cable, no sound is out.The BEAM works well in WIFI (when I display music on it, from Spotify for instance) and the HDMI cable seems good too since it works well on a PC screen.I’m sure there is not much to do to make it work, but I have hard time to find it out… And
I have an ARC soundbar and and 2 x era 100’s rears.I listen to a lot of music from my couch, and whilst for movies, the arc+era100’s are amazing, for music it is less so.I really miss the wide stereo image from the front when listening to music. What are my options for replacing the ARC with some other brands speakers + amp whilst retaining sonos compatibility, whilst also retaining atmos capability? Can i use a Sonos Amp connected to a pair of passive speakers as fronts? what do i do about the center channel?
(1) Sonos ARC connected via HDMI to Arc port of the TV => works great.(2) Second sound source, that I convert from Optical to HDMI using the Sonos Adapter. If I connect this via HDMI to Sonos ARC (and disconnect TV), it works great. Question => Is there a switch/splitter that I can control with a remote without having to switch the Sonos ARC cables in this setup? TV only supports ARC. I connected the second source to the TV, but the TV does not recognize it.
I’ve been a long time customer and really love my Sonos system that I have added to over time. However, in recent weeks we’ve been encountering a number of different issues including:Different speakers randomly not showing up in the app (this is not consistent to specific speakers) Sound randomly cutting out of individual speakers while music is playing (also not consistent to specific speakers) Volume randomly changing on individual speakers while music is playing (note that the volume in the app is not changing but the volume of the actual sound coming out of speakers) Sound from the TV routed via optical cable to Playbar cuts in and out (note this is not an issue with the content/streaming since no issues when using the TV’s built-in speaker for the sound) Search within the app takes an excessively long time and does not consistently return results for connected services Skipping tracks in the app does not work consistently (will sometimes hang for a bit before skipping, will somet
Doing normal connection from my Windows 7 and told that “Sonos 1 is not compatible with my system and I must update to Sonos2” The update fails because my system is not compatible with Sonos 2, (which is why I have never upgraded). Uninstalled everything and re-installed Sonos 1 from scratch. On opening, it again tells me that “Sonos 1 is not compatible with my system ….”. There is nowhere to go from here and no support available after 6:00pm in Queensland. Is my system a write-off?I am getting the same messages on my Android tablet and phone. Raymond
Save yourself some time and just uninstall Alexa from in my case just from one sonos 1 speaker and then re-install it using the app on your phone. Tried at least 20 write ups on what to do and none worked. I still can’t get the app on my pc to recognize this device and amazon alexa does not appear on the list of services that can be added.

We have been playing BBS Sounds through Sonos for a year or so with no problem whatsoever. Then last week it started dropping out after a few minutes with a message ‘song not encoding correctly’. Have rebooted router, reloaded BBC Sounds, no change. Has anyone any ideas?
Hello. I am totally new to Sonos. I want to run my TV sound, a Technics turntable with a built in pre-amp and also stream Spotify from my phone. I think I need the Sonos Amp because of the TV HDMI (ARC) connection needed. Is this correct? If I just want to forget the TV, can I plug the turntable into the Era 300 or Five speakers directly and then also stream? Thanks

HiI was wondering if anyone knew what issue I was having with my Sonos system. I’ll try and explain it in the best way I can.My Sonos system consists if one Sonos Arc, two Sonos One speakers, both a left and right for surround sound and a Sonos Sub. I have the Sonos Arc connected to a Sony Bravia TV OLED using the Arc port and also connected with my Dell PC through Airplay as it is not connected through a cable. The issue I’m having is related to iTunes, which I use to listen to all my music. It starts fine with no issues but say after 15 minutes or so the sound coming from the speakers begins to cut out intermittently and sometimes the sound coming from the Sonos One speakers cuts out completely leaving only sound emitting from the Sonos Arc. It only cuts out for say a second but happens more frequently the longer you listen to music.I only have this issue when I’m listening to music via iTunes and not when I’m watching the TV or watching a film from the Blu-ray player, which work perf
Just bought a Sonos Ray soundbar. Despite the assurances of the John Lewis salesman that everything would work with my new Sony TV - I can’t get the remote control to work. My TV remote isn’t IR and the Sonos has no HDMI input - so am I stuck with no remote control facility? It would be clumsy but do Sonos make a simple remote control? Not convenient to have to log into my phone and app just to change volume level!
I have a Zonebridge BR100 & a Connect ZP90, this was working fine up until about a week ago when my Router died and I had to replace it.The new router is a TP Link Archer AX72 and is working great for everything else. As soon as I connect the ethernet cable to the ZoneBridge my internet speeds in the house plummet from around 40Mbps to less than 200-300Kbps, the TP-Link Router tells me that a new device has connected but nothing can be found on the Sonos App, the Network lights are flashing on the ZB. I have reset the ZB and the App but still no devices can be found. As soon as I disconnect the ethernet cable from the ZB my internet speeds in the house go back to normal.I don’t know what else to try.Any advice gratefully received!!
I’ve been experiencing an issue recently with my Sonos speakers, whereby when I switch to a new song, some speakers continue to play the older song, some play the newer one, some silent. I have 2 Sonos S2, Sonos Move.I have a Netgear Orbi (802.11.ac) router.Everything here is in one room; the farthest from the router an S2 is may be about 20 ft. So that is not an issue. My “controller” is an iPhone 15 Pro with iOS 17.1.2; my Macbook Pro 16” (Intel) is where I do a lot of my work and control Sonos. The Sonos code on MacOS is:Version: 15.10Sonos OS: S2Build: 76246300 Up until recently, things have worked just fine.I can’t imagine what the problem is, as bandwidth or signal should not be an issue with the relatively low proximity of the router. So unless someone is aiming a signal jamming device (LOL) at me, I’m at a loss as to why this is happening (yes all my Sonos speakers are on the local WIFI network).I restarted the app on MacOS, no effect. The problem manifests intermittently.
Hello, recently I have ran into some connectivity issues with my system. After some trouble shooting I decided to go for a full reinstall, but after factory resetting everything I was unable to reinstall everything. I have an Ikea symfonisk lamp and bookshelf (both 1st gen) and use iOS on all devices. During the setup I get redirected to the iOS accessory setup screen to setup the speaker but when I try to connect to the network I get “an unexpected error”. I have reset near every other program (wifi, app, etc) and it keeps giving the same error. I have also tried setting up the speakers on my mobile hotspot but still gives the same error…Does anyone know what else I can try to install my speakers to the system?
Hi all,I’m using two Sonos One’s as surround speakers in combination with the Sonos Beam. I’ve had no issues before, but this week i heard some strange noise from those surround speakers. Espacially the talking sounds like echo/cracking. I’ve tried resetting both surround speakers which helped, but only for a few days..i’ve send data to Sonos: 576926472.thanks in advance.
