A while ago I created this post: This is still a problem. For several games, if not all games, the volume is not how it should be. In the game Metaphor, dialoge form the sides are much louder than from the center. In other games, certain sounds seem too loud. These problems are especially bad when using Dolby Atmos on PS5, but also a problem in Linear PCM, in some cases just as bad like with the Metaphor example. I have tried several combinations without luck. This is not an issue with the TV or PS5 because this is not an issue with the TV audio. I am using passthrough on the TV and device type soundbar on PS5, but tested multiple combinations. Do I have a faulty Arc Ultra? I’m only using the Arc Ultra with my LG C4 TV, no sub or other speakers. I find it odd I can’t find anyone else reporting this. Edit: I think the

Hello all.I have my mac mini connected to my bravia tv with hdmi and i have the tv connected to sonos amp over line in. When i play the movie my speakers connected to sonos amp give a lag of sound approximately 2-3 seconds. At the same time when i disconnect tv from sonos amp and play the sound through tv speakers it is perfectly synchronized. Anybody knows the reason why? Is it my tv giving the lag or is it sonos lagging?

I have Play1 and Playbar in my livingroom, the speakers are not Bluetooth. When I start up my working pc from my job, the are 4 high sound in the speakers. I dont have any Sonos on the computer because It's a work computer, and the noise comes even before the computer itself has started up, it comes as soon as I turn it on. It could also be some smart home thing messing around, but I've tried everything.

I like that the dialog is very easy to hear without having to turn on any dialog adjustments. The problem is I barely hear the left and right channel audio. Background music is barely audible. I’ve tried it with both Trueplay turned on and off and there isn’t much improvement. I know the left/right channels are working because I hear music. Anyone else have this problem?

Since an update over a month ago, when setting or changing an alarm (On Android at least), the keyboard quickly pops up and then dissappears. It's impossible to change the numbers without going outside the app, copying the numbers you want in some other text box of an app, and then returning to the sonos app and fiddling with the text box until it highlights before I can attempt to paste it. I figured it would get worked out but it still hasn't, even after a new update. Is this bug known about or being worked on? It's been getting more and more frustrating as it goes on. 

Apple has released a beta for Apple TV (tvOS 26.4)In this update: "It appears that Apple added this new setting (Continuous Audio Connection), in part, to address complaints from Apple TV users who use Sonos speakers paired with AV receivers. Some users have indicated they hear popping noises or awkwardly low volume levels on certain channels, specifically with 5.1-channel content."When I open my SONOS App it now shows that EVERYTHING I play from ATV is in Dolby Atmos, these are TV programs that I am 100% sure are not played in Atmos.It says: “Apple TV uses a Dolby MAT connection for glitch-free playback across formats. Older receivers may indicate an Atmos connection, but original mixes will not be modified.” I know it's a beta but it will be interesting to follow and see if they fix the bug.The article can be read here: 

I’ve moved. How do I reconnect my Sonos One? 

For several months, I have been experiencing persistent issues with the S1 controller and Amazon Music. Despite reaching out to support for help, the problem remains unresolved. I have had Sonos in one form or another for 15 years and have four groups in my home and shed. There are 6 alarms set to tune to particular radio stations.  The instability of the alarms with recent updates is frustrating.  Sometimes it will start on two separate rooms that are set up as one connection, so they have different connections and one seconds behind synchronous broadcasting. None of the alarms is stable enough to run for the allocated time, they might only run a few seconds, or a few minutes. If I go to my IOS app the system already shows it has stopped and the right arrow is ready to press. I have also had to go through trying to trace why some stations are disconnected from the stream and I get the horrible ding dong alarm sound. I wish there was a better option for that too.  cheers John

I upgraded my Internet speed all five, but then they send me a new router.I haven't been able to install my beam 2.I tied reset reinstall the appWhen it chines it says it doesn't recognise it.There is NO sticker on the back/ base they're never was.Purchased 2-3 ago from reputable dealer..I swapped back to old router,TV etc all fine just beam won't install.I spent hours going crazy and getting frustrated..I still have the box etc but they're was no code that they tell you to put in if Chinese won't work. I was probably an idiot uninstall the app as settings are grey with only add new speaker or join system.I tried with the router it used to work with but no says can't find beam on that IP.Anybody thoughts thanks Richard.

My ERA 300 can't connect after the upgrade. I have tried rebooting the router, factory resetting the speakers, reinstalling the SONOS app, rebooting my mobile phone, turning off the mobile network on the phone, turning off private Wi-Fi addressing, etc.    Can someone assist with resolving the issue?

Since the last app update, I am no longer able to set the sleep timer when listening to Radio Paradise through the RP service. It isn’t an issue when playing any other content, nor even if listening to RP though TuneIn. The message on the pop-up tab which would normally display the sleep timer option as well as other options, states “Unable to load. Some information is missing from this content”.Is this a Sonos app issue or a problem with the RP service? 

I have two problems when setting alarms. The first is a recent one. When choosing a music source, I used to be able to choose from my whole set of services as an option. For instance I could pick a Spotify playlist or artist radio.  Now, I’m given a very narrow list of options with no detail ( like “playlist 1” for instance). Secondarily if I choose a Sirius Xm station, the alarm will revert back to Sonos chime. I understand the problem you got yourself Into with the botched rearchitecture, but why do you keep breaking simple tertiary features every time you make a change. 

I noticed that sometimes the content key changes the volume by 1 and other times it changes the volume by 4. Why does it do this?

After the latest update i can no longer change the time for an alarm or set up a new alarm. All on a Samsung phone. The keyboard disappears before I can type any numbers. Don't people test these updates before they are rolled out?

At the end of each song, the volume comes Very High before transitioning to the next song? What cause that issue?

i’ve had a roam for a few years now (i have a number of other sonos products that i love) and it has been a real disappointment: constantly disconnecting; alexa stops working; battery saver stops working and will die if i don’t turn it off; sound is sometimes good, sometimes bad. I’m sure it has heard profanity more than it has heard instructions… i’ve contacted customer support a few times, but at this point, it takes so long to go through all of the resetting and adding it back again, and then a few months later it’s doing something again. at this point i might just give up. anyone else with their roam acting like a lemon? 

How to lower down volume of 1 era speaker from stereo pair.

Pro-ject carbon turntable to am/fm tuner to 5? I’m trying to figure out this setup. i have two 5s, currently with a line in from the turntable. I’m worried adding a tuner into the mix will bring issues with turntable audio quality without an amplifier. I purchased an ADCOM GTP 400, and it needs an antenna to work getting local broadcast l, but when I tried to play a record, it sounded awful.I want to stream local baseball games from time to time, so I want to keep the budget reasonable, but absolutely open to investing in quality equipment and can return the Adcom if I need something different. Any advice from the community?

Hi,I bought a Move 2 recently and it's a great speaker. However, I noticed when switched off (long press on the back button until it chimes and disappears from app) it loses 2% charge a day. I contacted support who initially decided to replace the unit. The second unit arrived but it's behaving the same way. They're now saying it's expected. Weird.Considering 3 hours of playtime at volume 40 uses about 10% of the battery that means, when it should be off, it's losing about 35mins of play time...a day.I intend to use the speaker when outside gardening or away from the house. I don't want it sitting on a charger all the time, nor do I want the battery totally drained, neither of which are healthy for batteries. I assume the official line will be something like "even when powered off is still doing some stuff" but why? As of a couple days ago I can no longer connect to PLEX.   I get“Something went wrong. Try Again” when click on artists from my favoritesand“No content items available” when clicking on Plex iconI can cast to my sonos speakers from the Plex app (not plexamp) on my computer.If gone through all the suggested steps I could find from the internet.  I guess my question is to see if anyone else is experiencing it or if it's just me (and for how long).  If its everyone, then hopefully its (another) screw up and they’ll get around to fixing it eventually. super frustrating that something that has worked for years just stopped working especially when its the reason I went with Sonos.

Watched an old Marx Brothers movie DVD last night.  The DVD box stated it was Dolby Digital 1.0.  So I expected that to get sound out of my Beam Gen 1 I would have to change the sound output from my Bluray player from Bitstream to PCM.  But it worked on Bitstream!  The Sonos App was showing the sound as Doby Digital 1.0I had reported this as a problem with support, as had other people.  Now it appears to have been quietly fixed.  Don’t know when but must be fairly recently. Previously reported here 

My Sonos beam 2nd gen. DOES NOT pair with my samsung android phone!

Is anyone having problems with the BBC Sounds and Sonos One SL speakers just keep stop playing. I have two older Sonos Play 1 and they are fine. I have had to reset the One SL speakers twice this week to even be able to see them on the App. But still won't keep playing. 

I’m installing a brand new entertainment center that will be very nice with stone and white oak.  I do NOT want a sound-bar mounted on the stone below the TV.  Therefore, I’m looking at in-ceiling speakers.  This is for a 5.1 setup (which I believe means I need two Sonos amps).  Everything I have read is that a center channel speaker in the ceiling isn’t ideal.  However, my guess is that most of those opinions are from serious audiophiles.  For a family room setup is it really that big of a deal?  If not, which speaker should I use for the center channel?
