Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Hi. Is anyone else experiencing dropouts, skips, etc with Apple Music since Apple Music moved to Lossless? Before Lossless was introduced, I never had these issues. I have tried Amazon HD and Quboz in the past - both high-res services - and experienced the same behavior. Eventually my system will realize it’s not working and then downgrade back to non-Lossless music, but then it will try again 5 songs or so later. We really need a toggle in the app to downgrade to non-Lossless streaming for the systems that can’t handle it.

Suddenly my Sonos speakers are no longer found on the local WiFi network when I want to stream music (via Airplay or otherwise). The app still works and through the app I can play music on my speakers. However, on my IPhone (and my girlfriends IPhone), we cannot use Spotify or other audio apps that previously worked. On Spotify it said: ‘no devices found on this network’. we have ‘klik en klaar’ internet from Odido. any idea how to fix this? 

I have a wired amp, Move, Move2, Era300 and Roam. All speakers are visible in the app. When I play music, I can play it on Move, Move2, Era300 and Roam but not on the AMP. I also tried playing something only on the AMP and then selecting more speakers and I can’t get all speakers to play. I have reset ever speaker, unplugged router, unplugged AMP. Sucks that this software and system has issues like this. 

Can I add a second pair of error 100s placed left and right of the arc. For additional sound

I have been unable to use my old S1 for a couple of years. Trying again, but no settings icon on the app. I’m trying to check wi fi etc but without settings I can’t do. I have an up to date iPhone 12

Please try updating one more time..."So it sees that there's an update but it can't download it. Using Sonos Controlller for PC 11.15, Sonos OS is S1. Operating system is Win10 Pro. I have two speakers, both Play Ones.I shut down my PC, rebooted my router, turned on my PC, plugged a play1 into an open ethernet cable, opened the Sonos S1 Controller program on my PC, it saw there was an update, I clicked Update and I still get the same “The Sonos controller installer failed to download” error message. Please advise.  

Just moved into brand new apartment. Started by having my 65 inch TV hung. I've purchased the sonos arc ultra, then added 2- 300's for surround sound, and finally a mini sub.At times - from the start it was perfect, and I could get it to work perfectly. But mainly through my phone, not the TV remote.Spoke with sonos support was told the internet was an issue. However I have excellent reception of internet and speed. It's worked many, many, times and failed just a few. However, now after the phone call and the testing, I can't get anything but the ultra. Excuse me, arc ultra to connect to the T. V please, can anybody help with any suggestions ideas? I'm wide open as I'm a new user. And I know I have a lot to learn. Thank you so much.

Ive tried adding bbc sounds to my system. But it doesn't even show on the app as a service i can add. I've added my address to the account to let it know im in the UK. Can someone give me a step by step guide ideally with screen grabs cos im completely stuck. I must be missing something.

Hi everyone,I’ve been using an Era 100 with a Line-In connection for a while now, but over the last two months, the behavior has changed significantly and it’s becoming quite frustrating.The Issue: If there is no sound for a short period, the Era 100 seems to "disconnect" or go into a deep sleep mode. When I start playing music again, it takes about 10 seconds before any audio actually comes out of the speaker.Why this is strange: This was not happening two months ago. It used to be near-instant or at least much faster. I am using the official Sonos Line-In adapter. Hi all — looking for guidance from anyone running Sonos with multiple WiFi access points (non-mesh).Here’s my setup:Verizon Fios router (main router) in basement Additional ethernet wired WiFi access points throughout the house (not mesh, just APs) - first and second floor of home Sonos Arc + Sub + (2) play 1s in basement.  Different generations I believe, not exactly sure which. (2) Amps on first floor hard speaker wired to outdoor speakersIssue #1 –  Struggling to get my sub and basement settup The Sub factory resets properly (blinking green), connects to WiFi during setup, but then fails with:“There was a problem checking for updates”Error Code: 1,106The Arc is fully online and stable in the Sonos app, but the room shows:“Needs Attention”“Product – Not Connected”I’ve:• Power cycled everything• Factory reset the Sub 

I have a suggestion for great balanced sound when listening to music and it would be helpful when listening to TV as well. I normally sit on a sofa along the back wall facing the Arc Ultra on the front wall, with two Era 300’s just behind the sofa along the left and right walls, and two subwoofers behind each sofa arranged in an L pattern. I prefer to sit on either end of the sofa with the armrest which is closest to one of the surround speakers.The surround audio tv and music levels are set to -15 to try to get sound away from the surrounds and towards the Arc. All I cannot hear is music from either the left or right Era 300, which overpowers the Arc Ultra. I hear nothing from the Arc Ultra unless I get up and walk towards the front of the room. The solution would be to put a graphic joystick in the Sonos app, which would allow you to balance the sound anywhere in the room relative to where you are sitting. I can't use YouTube Music in my Sonos app. Nothing shows up in the app, totally blank. I've installed the app multiple times, relinked my accounts, restarted the router and so on. Searched the forums and web, no answer. Am I doomed here?
