SUB 4 lost power

My Sub 4 suddenly went offline. There is no status light. I unplugged it for a minute, reseated the original power cable, and tested it in two known-working wall outlets. It still shows no signs of power. All my other Sonos products are online and working. I also tried the power cord from my Sonos arc ultra thinking maybe it’s a cable issue and still my sub has no power.   Has this happened to anyone?  I purchased my sub january 2026.

It's more than likely still under warranty.  You can contact Sonos support directly to initiate a replacement.

Thank you for the reply.  I bought it at Best Buy so now i don’t know if Sonos Support will help.

I’m sorry if this may sound harsh, but are you waiting for someone to tell you that calling support is exactly what you should do? Well it IS!

Sonos support doesn’t care is  you bought it from the Sonos website, Amazon or went into Best Buy.  If the speakers is under warranty, they will honor it.

I dont know where this logic stems from, but (assuming you are in the US) unless you have an extended warranty through Best Buy, Sonos Support is exactly who you need to contact.  Regardless of where you purchased, Sonos' warranty is handled by Sonos Support.

@mcalvarez

Just for future reference….

Technical Support

  • If you buy a product wherein the manufacturer offers technical support...that is whom you should contact regardless of where you bought it. Unlike some manufacturers Sonos offers technical support for as long as you own the product. Meaning it’s not tied to a warranty that expires after a period of time.

Manufacturer Warranty_Complimentary

  • Refers to repair or replacement of a product that can or can’t be fixed. Typically a manufacturer warranty is one year in the US.

Extended Warranted_Fee Based

  • Offered by the manufacturer extends product repair or replacement beyond the typical one year. Extended warranties are typically only for a specified number or years. Some can be renewed on an annual basis which is what Apple does with AppleCare.
  • Offered by a retailer can operate in the same manner as those offered by a manufacturer with conditions.  They must be purchased at time of product purchase or within 10-15 days of product purchase. They don’t take effect until after the manufacturers warranty expires. They also run congruent with the manufacturers warranty. Meaning a 2, 3, 4 or 5 year extended warranty sold by a retailer includes the one or two year manufacturers warranty. Sounds dishonest...well...call your Congress Representative 😂
