I am trying to connect my Audio Technica AT-LP60XBT turntable via bluetooth to my Sonos Roam2 (which works fine) but when I try to group it with my ARC sytem or my Play1 the bluetooth connection between the turntable and Roam2 seems to disconnect, even though the BT blue light still shows it is connection. Prior to grouping the Roam2 with either the ARC or Play1, the BT connection is working and the Roam2 is playing the audio from the turntable. Am I doing something wrong to get the turntable signal to come through the Roam2 to get to the ARC and Play1 (grouping all speakers together) or is this something that the Sonos 2 app cannot do?

I have a Ray with Apple TV, everything works ok except the audio choices. I have the optical connected and airplay works as well. The issue I have is I want the audio to default to the optical, the Apple TV seems to default to the Airplay which is the only way I can have volume control, when I switch back to the optical I loose volume control. The Sono’s app works fine and I can control the ray with other Sono’a in my home. In short is there a way to only have optical audio and control it with the Apple Remote. 

I currently have a Playbar, two Play:1s as surrounds , a Sub Gen 1 and another Play:1 in my wife's studio. If I replaced the Playbar with an Arc Ultra I believe I would have to replace the Play:1 surrounds but not the Sub. But would I still be bale to use the Play1 in my wife's studio and place the replaced surround Play:1s in other rooms of the house? 

Hi!I owned a Arc + 2xEra 300 + Sub gen 3 setup and it was overwhelming on cinematic performance and average on music - I was missing the middle lows in music performance (which are very present on the demo sounds of sonos, so it's likely a DSP thing not hardware).As Arc Ultra promised better bass due to the new sound force technology, I made the upgrade and... well... I am not satisfied at all. Everything sounds the exact same as before. I did trueplay tuning (tried all three variants), EQ setup etc etc.I get even a little better performance turning the sub off in the mid los but then the deep subs are missing of course.I don't get why my SONOS system is performing so bad on mid-lows but only on music... All is perfect on movies... If sonos would only give us more control over music EQ :( That being said, I was asked by ​@Corry P to create a diagnostic. This has been happening ​​​​​for years. Different phones, desktop or mobile, different zone players, doesn't matter. Ever since one of the updates it has been a constant issue.Today for example I have a bunch of backup alarms set. The first one goes off and I go to access them to turn off the rest and the app shoes no alarms. I have many times set, and many that should be showing as off. … and same thing with setting the alarms… There should be ton of times already there to turn on but it shows none yet when trying to add one it says no more alarms can be set because I’m maxed, which is probably true. I expected to see a ton of complaints on the board when I searched where someone said do xyz so it doesnt happen but seems to be unique to something I am doing or my set up?​​

The "sound height" adjustment does not work on Tidal, unlike on Apple Music.

I would like Sonos to work together with Apple Home and Apple Home Pod consistently.Had I known about Sonos at the time, I would not have purchased Home Pod, which in terms of audio experience is no more than a toy for children. However, since I have it, it can be used to enhance Sonos in one room. I have had only intermittent success in making this happen. Only once was I able to add Sonos as a device to Apple Home. In the meantime, I had to reconfigure Apple Home and Home Pod. Since then, every day is trying to get the music on both Home Pod and Sonos and crossing my fingers. When I try to add Sonos as a device in Apple Home, it does appear as something to add, but then I get the message that Airplay cannot connect to it (nonsense - it can and does as I see elsewhere) and that I need to check the Wi-Fi connection on my iPhone (also nonsense). I know for a fact that Sonos has a strong connection to my Wi-Fi. The problem seems to be centered on Apple Home. Even with this problem, Siri

I have a Sonos 300 that works well with my PC.I have a Victrola Stream that used to work with the Era 300 but now doesn’t.The Victrola app finds and lists the Sonos speaker correctly but there is no output. 

When I’m trying to add alexa as voice assistance, i cant find it, only “sonos voice control”i’m here in qatar btw

Having less faith in Sonos, after upgrade bricked units, apple airplay preference in upgrade leading to disasters for others. S1 / S2 terror. Sonos in need of income, so the income from intune being base for Sonos Radio, leads to radio programmes being broardcast add free from national stations with own add on, are chopped up, broken disturbed on purpose.Result: you find the national program via intune and voila, Sonos are back in add income.Remark, system has worked perfect for years, all but for Sonos software downgrades, are unchanged.I as customer are deeply disapointed., am I the only one seeing the plot.Rgds Per Høeg.

I'm using Apple Music with a Sonos setup consisting of Arc + Sub + two Era 300 speakers.When I play the following album, playback consistently halts mid-track, and the Sonos system becomes completely unresponsive—as if it's frozen. Hi All, I have a Sonos play bar, sub,  2 play 5 second gen for surrounds stereo setup for my entertainment area. In the last month one of the 2 play 5s (out of warranty sadly) stopped connecting to the system. When I plug it into Ethernet it works but unfortunately that is not an option for my space.I sent customer service a diagnostic and was told it’s a failed WiFi card. They basically said I was SoL and my options are to get a 30 percent discount on one new 5 and buy an additional new 5 because that’s the only way I could have two surrounds. Kind of a hard answer to hear if I have two very expensive play 5 speakers, one of which works fine and the other of which only the WiFi is malfunctioning (apparently a problem that has been experienced by quite a few play 5 second gen owners).Does anyone have other ideas of solutions? Has anyone ever effectively replaced the WiFi card on one of these? Does anyone know a good source of refurbished play 5 gen 2s? Any help would be appreciated. Si

i have a new router, TP-link BE230 where I try to add my music library on USB disk. I do the usual \\192.168.0.1\nameUSB and than the user id/password. I get an error 1002: can not add music library.  Anyone an idea what wrong?  I did check the firewall; its open for SONOS… Thanks!

Hi Guys,  I cannot seem to get my 2 Sonos Play ones to connect to with my beam to make a surround experience. I can connect the 2 speakers as single or as a stereo pair but when I click on the beam and add the 2 Sonos ones as surrounds they are coming up saying “not connected” I have tried to factory test both Sonos ones and the beam and I am still getting the same issue  I have attached a screen shot below 

Hi. I have a Beam, Sub Mini and two Play1 for surround sound.  All speakers work with music and appear as one group. However during TV playback, the two Play1 speakers just have a light static noise. Sub is working, as is the Beam. TV playback is showing as 5.1 surround. Any ideas? Thanks 👍 

I have a question about the Sonos Sound Bar app on my Smart TV. (My Sonos app on mobile phone works as expected and enables me to control all my audio settings. My question does not relate to the sonos app on my mobile phone). As part of setting up my sonos arc ultra and sub gen 4 with my smart TV, a mysterious "Sonos Sound Bar" app has appeared on my SmartTV. This app is grey with a white speaker image on it. Clicking on the app reveals no functionality at all: all I am shown is a series of weird black and white lines on the screen. The images look semi artistic and look like attempts to draw different types of sound waves. The images change every few seconds. But other than this, the app does nothing. And I am unable to delete it from my SmartTV Does anyone else have the same experience? What is this app for? It seems completely superfluous and bizarre. 

I am setting up a new living room theater setup. TV is TCL 98 inch QM7K with a ARc Ultra soundbar, a 4th gen sub and 2 Era 300 speakers.  TV is 15 feet from back wall.  Problem is it is a L shaped couch that is 144 inches back and 114 inch other side with no space behind couch for the 2 Era 300 speakers.  AI suggested I put them on the left arm and right arm of the couch and the right one was suggested I have it face the TV like the one on the left?  Also need to decide if I am ok using side tables 24 niches high or do I need speaker stands.  Here is a layout drawing. I currently have an arc with 2 x 1sl’s for surrounds in my lounge and it works fine with the usual tv apps and my Virgin streaming box but when I use the Firestick the some bounces from arc to SL1 surround’s and back

Should I use my play bar soundbar as a rear surround or play 1 speakers 

HelloI am a long time user of the Sonos AMP (gen 2), connected to vintage (aka old) Kef Coda 70s.Sounds punchy, detailed & engaging!My question:Apple TV supports 24/48 kHz stereo sound via HDMI eARC.The Sonos Amp’s connector is HDMI ARC only.Does the Sonos AMP receive/play 24/48 kHz stereo via HDMI ARC, or is converted to 16/44.1 kHz (CD quality), or something else?There doesn’t seem to be a definitive answer for this that I can see?(I’m aware Apple Music Lossless 24/48 is available via the S2 app, but sometimes I prefer using the Apple Music interface on Apple TV)  Thanks in advance 

Hi, newbie here. I’m going to purchase a Sonos set up that consists of 4 architectual speakers, amp and a smart switch. All 4 in one room. It’s 6x4m. 2 one end for the bar area and two the other for the tv. I’m thinking a switch would be good to turn down/off either end when not needed. What’s people’s thoughts. Also, would there be a wiring diagram for this? Thanks  

My rear speakers never update, but everything else does.This seems to be a Sonos bug that they refuse to acknowledge.The issue is that from a network perspective the Arc and its subs appear as one entity all having the same MAC address (the arc connects to the network on wifi 2.4GHz and to the subs using a local 5GHz signal that does not go through the router).Come update time there is no network route to the subs, and the arc does not have the smarts to do the update on behalf of the subs.As a work around I have allocated the subs mac address in my router. When the update to the subs fails, I turn off the arc, restart the app, do an update, usually twice, once for each sub, then turn on the arc and we are back working.This is better that resetting subs as a lot of the advice suggests.It would be nice if there someone had a better workaround as it is obviously a network issues, not signal strength, interference etc.

Hi’ just received two days ago brand new Sonos Ace headphones I’m having an insane issue while I’m on any type of a call using the aware or NC mode, while I speak randomly I’ll hear a super high pitch noise for a brief second while I talk, it’s extremely loud and unbearable  I’ve updated to latest and also done a full hard reset to the unit ! Nothing has changed I have a brand new iPhone 16 pro max with Sonos app installed This is horrible, why is it happening ? I read on Reddit that people were experiencing similar issues from the cpu frequency being picked up by ANC microphones or something like that. Also when I’m on a call, other people hear me muffled and like I’m in a tunnel, these are expensive premium headphones that shouldn’t be like that I think?

I tried to find my exact issue but couldn't.I’m running a Samsung 4K TV, AppleTV 4k (1st gen), Sonos Beam 1 via arc hdmiMy main goal is to be able to adjust volume on the Beam with one of the remotes when the TV is off.  I’ve tried all options of IR/RF learning both TV and Apple TV remotes. Nothing is working.Currently when watching thru AppleTV the remote adjusts the Beam volume fine. Likewise when watching just the television alone (appleTV off) the Samsung remote adjusts the Beam fine. What I’d like to achieve is one of those remotes controlling the volume of the Beam while the TV is off and I’m just listening to the music, etc.I’d like to not have to open my phone for simple volume adjustments so please don't suggest. I currently use “Hey Sonos” which I find tedious as its idea of lower/higher volume is all over the place. I tend to have to throw multiple commands and volume numbers to get it right.
