I am getting Cannot be played - Encoding error on Apple Music Live Streams (Apple Music 1, Apple Music Hits/Club/Chill/Country). It's not an error with the service (works in anything non-sonos such as iPhone, Mac and HomePod. It's not bandwidth or these wouldn’t play. Only these stations are causing problems. Bug? Anyone at Sonos looking at it? Previous post mentioned an error on stream (if that was the case it wouldnt play on other devices surely?) or bandwidth, but I have a 1gbps connection, no other issues with any stream, atmos and lossless included, only these stations. 

This turntable is new but the rotation speeds (33 & 45) are not correct and the music/songs are really bad… What to do as there is no possibility of adjustment except changing the belt ? 

Since the update to macOS Tahoe I have been unable to connect to the Mac Sonos app. I have re-installed the app but that has made no difference. I spoke with an agent on  Sonos chat and he said as the update had only just happened that might be the reason. I thought that’s why Apple released beta versions  so cos could sort out any problems prior to the general release. It’s working fine on my iphone that was updated at the same time

Hi,I have a problem with my Sonos 5. It seems there is no power altough I took a different outloet. I checked my wifi and there is no oroblem. It just doesn't want to start. What should I do ?Regards Marc

Hi the speech button is not responding on my Sonos one,  when pressing nothing happens, but it’s saying its connected,  and my other units are working fine,   Is it a fault with the device,  any ideas or suggestions appreciated 

I just got a Sonos Era 100 and successfully configured it to work on my network. Sometimes when I go into the app on my iPhone 13, however, it says it cannot find a Sonos product on my network. Sometimes if I leave the app alone for half a minute or so it will find find the speaker, but other times it just never finds it. I do have a couple of WiFi access points in my network, with different SSIDs than my main router, and I have the Sonos configured to use one of them in addition to the main router, but this problem occurs even when both the speaker and my iPhone are connected to the main router. Edit:I’m wondering if the app is trying to use too much information. For some reason it’s accessing the location, which makes no sense whatsoever, as the speaker certainly doesn’t know where it is. Tried to buy the era 100. Not once but twice, first time I didnt sign in and was after playing with klarna was redirected back to my cart after purchase. So the money came out of my bank account but sonos says the purchase did not go through.Second time I signed in with my account, filled in all the information for shipping ect and went to pay with klarna and the purchase went through and it told me to go back to merchant. I go back to sonos and its literally showing the payment for me to pay again?So I was charged not one but TWICE for something that according to sonos is not an actual order. Just being held by my bank. Honestly so frustrated now I have to wait 30 days to get the money back after disputing with my bank. and will miss this sale and am out @ bunch of money for the next bit. Why have klarna as an option if the website is not properly set up? Don't know what to do honestly

I have 2 Era 100 speakers setup as a stereo pair connected via WiFi. I’ve installed the Sonos skill on Alexa and gone through the setup process in the app. Everything works, but there seems to be a bug compared to an Amazon Echo device.  When I ask “Alexa, play the latest episode of NPR Up First”, the Alexa response is “You laying the latest episode of NPR Up First from Amazon Music” followed by the rather lengthy episode title; the episode is also laying at low volume in the background while Alexa reads the title. When she’s done with the title, either 1) the volume comes to normal, episode continues playing, but I’ve missed the start or 2) the episode stops being playing and I get silence or 3) the episode stutters then re-starts and plays.  I use this example because it’s most audible due to the long episode titles, but the same happens when I play music from Spotify; Alexa is reading the title while the song is already playing.  in contrast, on an Amazon Echo device, or the Alexa a

I'm experiencing a critical issue with the SmartThings integration on my Sonos Roam Gen 1 that appears to have been caused by a recent Sonos update.Issue Description:For months, I've been using a SmartThings automation to play white noise on my Roam Gen 1 using the 'play favorite item' action (typing the exact Sonos Playlist). This worked flawlessly until a recent Sonos update. Now, when the SmartThings automation triggers, no audio plays on the Roam. I have a system that has two ports; each controls a different area. Currently, neither port has a hard (i.e., RCA) input as it plays only via Spotify. Is there a way to bridge the two ports if I hook up an audio device (e.g., turntable or wireless audio receiver) to the RCA inputs of one port? I want to hook up the audio device but still have the signal play through both ports so it can be heard in both areas. Thank you in advance for any insights and help. 

I have 2 ERA 100 speakers, one in the master bedroom and one in the master bath. The WiFi is an original eero Pro configuration in bridge mode, with DNS/DHCP provided by a Linux server. The ERA 100s have been working great in this configuration for 2 years. Recently, however, the one in the master bath is no longer on WiFi, nor was it visible in the Sonos app.After resetting the device a couple of times I powered down ALL Sonos speakers (6 Shadow SLs, an Arc and a Playbar among them) and powered off ALL the eero Pro devices. I then brought the eero network back up and then re-powered all the Sonos devices, doing the ERA 100s last.ALL the speakers came back online problem-free EXCEPT the ERA 100s. I just went through the reset procedure on the master bedroom ERA 100 and the behavior is the same: The speaker comes online, I can see it get an IP address from my DHCP server. Last month I updated from an old Playbase to a new Arc Ultra. In my area we have unexpectedly had three power outages in the last month. After each outage when the power is restored the Arc Ultra has a blinking green or white light, and I have had to reset the bar from the factory settings all over again - three times. I have the power cord plugged into a surge suppressor. Is this normal behavior? There is no settings memory on this product?

I can’t finish the setup on my new era 100. It seemed to connect to my WiFi ok or it has found it on my WiFi easy enough but this has come up each time I’ve tried 

reconnecting tv sound on my soundbar  after having playede a song from spotify is not working. i have to restart the system. my konfiguration consist of 3 play:1 and 1 soundbar optical connected the soundbar is named " stue" connected to 2 play:1 as  surround.But as described I cant reach the tv setup

My Move 2 speaker seems to have weaker output from one of the channels. Has anyone else experienced this ? It has just started happening recently. 

I set up a small system for my living room that I intend to grow. I loved it so much that bought a second system, this time with the arc ultra with the intention of passing the Beam set-up to my husband for his TV room upstairs. I downloaded the Sonos app on my desktop Windows 11 PC, and successfully added a music folder, which is on a secondary internal hard disk of the computer. Windows sees the disk as D:I then noticed that the Sonos app was offering an update, and I installed it.After that, the shared folders on both my Windows PCs were showing as inaccessable. I removed the shared folder on my desktop, and then I was unable to re-add it. I tried various ways, and got various errors. Sometimes it would re-add, but then it became inaccessable during the indexing process.What to do?

Hiya, can anyone advise how to connect Sonos ARC ultra to a projector that only has HDMI to get the most out of the soundbar, I currently have a PlayBase and Mini Sub connected to said projector.Looking online apparently something called a matrix splitter is recommended but it’s as clear as mud, I’ll be wanting to connect a SKY Q 2TB box to hopefully get the full Dolby Atmos experience.  Many thanks in advance

Over 10 years, we had a Sonos system set up in our kitchen.  We have 4 in-ceiling speakers, which were wired to a SS20 2 Way parallel speaker Switch system, which was connected to the Sonos Connect Amp 1st generation, which was connected to a computer.  Does anyone whether I should connect a Sonos Amp or Port to the Switch system, so we can access music through the phone?   Probably a very basic system, but any knowledgeable guidance would be appreciated.

How do I turn off Sonos Voice Assistant on a Ray?

Hi, for the last 3 weeks or so Sonos is constantly dropping out and losing connection. Sometimes it skips through tracks, other times it just stops playing. I also can not connect to Sonos speakers via the Spotify app. This all worked before and we haven’t changed our internet setup. Is anyone else having this problem? What can I do to fix it? 

I have a  new Apple TV 4k box along with a two year old LG C2 tv.My Sonos  stuff consists of 1st gen Beam a couple of six year old speakers and a sub thats about 5 years old.All working fine along with Amazon Fire Cube and an Android box.The problem I have is I cannot get 5.1 sound from the Apple only pcm stereo..I have followed various online guides but no luck so far.Hopefully someone on here can help?

One enhancement I would really love to see, though, is more consistent loudness between tracks when listening to Spotify (especially playlists and shuffle).For reference, I also use a WiiM Pro streamer to listen to Spotify. WiiM added a toggle to enable/disable Spotify volume normalization in 2025 (*1), and it significantly improved the listening experience. As much as I love my Sonos, WiiM remains my go-to streamer when I need consistent loudness and don't want to keep manually adjusting the volume for each track that’s too quiet or too loud. Hello, my system is Beam Gen 2 with a pair of One SL's as a stereo pair with a mini sub. Also a standalone One. Recently added an Era 100.I can connect my turntable ( which has a pre amp) via Bluetooth to the Era 100 and add in the One but cannot add in the remaining system. I can using the app but it doesn't group everything whenever I use the turntable.I want to use the Beam and stereo One's for watching the TV and then automatically use all speakers when playing vinyl, is that possible?Previously I was using a Connect box via line in to the turntable but it was a bit hit and miss although did auto play and use all the speakers but not every time.
