I recently changed my WiFi provider annd hadn’t used my speaker for a month or so. I am now unable to update my Sonos Play 3, it won’t find the new WiFi system. Can anyone help?

Hi everyone,I’m running into a volume balancing issue with my Sonos setup and I’m hoping for some guidance.Setup: Google TV / Google Streamer TV → Sonos Ray via optical Projector → Sonos Arc via HDMI eARC In both cases, I control the volume using the Google TV remote, which is correctly linked to the Sonos soundbar.The issue is that Google TV’s volume is already at maximum, so I have to increase the volume further in the Sonos app to get the TV sound loud enough. This works fine for TV and movies.However, this causes a problem when I start playing music or radio directly from Sonos (Spotify, radio streams, etc.). The volume is then much too loud, and I often have to quickly lower it to avoid being startled. This is especially annoying when grouping rooms (for example, when music is already playing in another room and I add a room with a soundbar).I’ve tested Volume Limit in the Sonos app, but that only makes the TV audio even quieter, which is the opposite of what I want. We have 4 Sonos amps connected to Bose in ceiling speakers that play in 4 different rooms. The Sonos amps are located in a cupboard upstairs. The TV is downstairs and is connected to a Beam. We also have a spare Sonos amp which we have still sitting in its box and 2 Sonos One SL speakers. I would like to add a turntable. How do I do this please.Just connect the spare amp to the existing Sonos system and use line in to connect the turntable?

Hi’ just received two days ago brand new Sonos Ace headphones I’m having an insane issue while I’m on any type of a call using the aware or NC mode, while I speak randomly I’ll hear a super high pitch noise for a brief second while I talk, it’s extremely loud and unbearable  I’ve updated to latest and also done a full hard reset to the unit ! Nothing has changed I have a brand new iPhone 16 pro max with Sonos app installed This is horrible, why is it happening ? I read on Reddit that people were experiencing similar issues from the cpu frequency being picked up by ANC microphones or something like that. Also when I’m on a call, other people hear me muffled and like I’m in a tunnel, these are expensive premium headphones that shouldn’t be like that I think?  

I have had my system for around 5 years. It has worked really well, especially loved when Sonos was linked with Calm. Recently, the SL in my office skips a beat every 10 or so seconds. I have only tested it in the following situation.I have the tv on in another room, I turn on the speaker in my office to play what is on the tv. The Beam and SL are connected to the same network (5G) and the router is approximately 10 metres away (same room as TV). Beam plays sound from the TV flawlessly. The office speaker skips a beat.I have turned off, unplugged, disconnected and reconnected the speaker. I have removed network and readded network. The whole house is nbn to the house.My fear is the system is getting old now but I also don't want that to be the solution. Does anyone have any ideas or more troubleshooting tips?

Whatever I do, I seem to get random surround speaker dropouts.These last a few seconds, occurring maybe every few minutes - whether I’m on TV audio or Sonos Sound System Radio which I assume rules out any TV related issues.I’m running an Arc Ultra with a Gen 3 sub and two Ones for surround. The TV Is a 5 year old LG.  Having started with a totally wireless setup, I’m currently trying the Ultra, the sub and the TV hardwired to the router, which is only about 3-4 metres from the Ones. All software is showing as updated. And I’ve lost count of the reboots performed.So, what can I try next?  Is it somehow an unresolved wifi issue between the Arc and the others, or could it be a gremlin in the actual Ultra, or…?I’m stumped, frustrated and right out of ideas! Any suggestions much appreciated.Thanks all. 

Can I sync a Bluetooth turntable to an Era100 speaker?

Good afternoon all I have a Project Debut Carbon connected through a preamp to a Connect line inEvery 5 seconds or so, the music skips, same time elapses each skipI have tried another brand new turntable and it does the same thingThis must be a Sonos think, but it only happens when using ther line in sourceDoes anybody have any ideas as to what I am doing wrong? 

I want to create a 5.1 surround setup. I have a Sonos Arc Ultra, a Sonos Sub (Gen 4), and a Sonos Amp with two ceiling speakers. When I play regular music, all speakers work fine. However, when I watch a Netflix movie with Dolby Atmos or a YouTube video with surround sound, the ceiling speakers don’t do anything. Only The sub and arc ultra works. What am I doing wrong? Or is this setup simply not possible?

Hi there,I’m running a stereo pair of Era 100s and running into a bit of a networking mystery. I’m hoping to get some clarity on why the speakers seem to prioritize 5GHz so aggressively, even when I don't want them to.Here is what I’ve experienced: * Originally, I had both units on 5GHz band. * I decided to switch to 2.4GHz, so I connected my phone to the 2.4GHz network and factory reset one speaker. After setup, it ended up on 5GHz again, not matching my phone's network band. * I then completely disabled 5GHz on my WiFi router, reset the speaker, and finally got it set up on 2.4GHz. But as soon as I turned the router's 5GHz band back on, the Era 100 immediately migrated back to 5GHz on its own.Is this intended behavior? It seems like the speaker is forcing a 5GHz connection regardless of my initial setup method. Any explanation would be appreciated.Thanks,

I have a bought a brand new Sonos move 2. When I opened it straight from the box and put it on charging for 2-3 days, (tried both the ways I.e. on the stand charging and charging with type C cable) I ensured that it was sufficiently charged, as at that time it was showing white and some times the orange/red light. Then in order to start my Sonos speaker and complete the setup I downloaded and logged in the Sonos app. Then via the app I connected my speaker with WiFi and initiated the system reset/software update for the speaker to start. After 5-10 mins when the entire process got completed, instead of receiving the notification of completion I received an error message on the app. Then from that point my Sonos move 2 speaker is not getting on or even showing any light of sign on life. I have tried all combinations of pressing the power button, Bluetooth button and putting in on and off charging, but I have not seen any light. HiHave a Sonos Beam Gen 2 and Sub Mini. This is connected to a Sony A8 OLED TV.Have run trueplay on the above on an apple phone.Have read that when watching films or tv that people listen with the volume level set at between 30% and 50%. I can honestly say that the highest level I ever have it is maybe 14% maximum. That's for tv or films.Granted , the room is only average size but would be greatful for any thoughts if the system is set up correctly. Thanks 

I have set all delays to zero on both TV and Sonos. I have set TV to Pass-Thru.  I don’t know what else to do to get rid of sound delay. 

I’m at my wits’ end.    About three months ago my Sonos speakers started disappearing from my app one at a time.   I have about 20 total and now I’m down to three that I can see in the app.    To save everyone’s time responding:No, I did not change my network equipment.    Yes, I have rebooted my modem and router.    Yes, I have reset the controller.    Yes, I have wired one device by ethernet.    Yes, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my phone.    Yes, I have factory reset multiple devices.   When they reboot the app will have a pop-up that says “Add Sonos:1” (or whatever type of speaker I may be trying to add).    When I click through that it ultimately says, “We couldn’t find any Sonos products on your mobile device’s network so we can’t set up your Play:1.   So the app can see that the speaker is there and ready to be setup upon reboot, but then it won’t work.    So now every speaker that I’ve factory reset and tried to re-add is effectively dead.   This has happened on

Hi, our sonos system consists of 3 play 3 and 2 play 1 units as well as a system of sonos AMP and a Cerwin Vega floor speaker for it. We have so far run it over the Sonos s1 app, but would like to have it for the Sonos 2 app, as we are considering adding a sonos five and a sub. Is it possible that the speakers can all play over the sonos 2 app so that you don't have to have 2 apps? and how do you connect your existing system to Sonos 2 if that is possible?

I have an LG WebOS 55UP8000PUR tv running WebOS 653-47 and the amazon prime video app installed on the tv most current version. regardless of the title selected I am only getting Dolby multi channel PCM 2.0 audio output, no dolby 5.1 or Atmos. My Sonos Arc is conncted to the TV via the EARC port, which is enabled. Digital audio output is set to passthrough. Other TV apps like Peacock will play in other formats depending on the title selected. My Panasonic 4K player will play in Atmos or 5.1, again depending on the title format. My ARC is paired with 2 ERA 300’s and a sub.  I have talked with Amazon support, LG support and Sonos support and each tells me the issue is with one or more of the other products… If I understand correctly the Sonos support said someting about Prime using a Atmos 2.0 vs Atmos 5.0 codec? and this could be what it is not working… I am unsure how to proceed? Dolby atmos or Dolby 5.1 had worked previously with hPrime and I am unsure what changed.  Is there anything

My home entertainment equipment includes LG OLED TV, Sonos Arc Ultra and 2 ERA 100 speakers.  My wife is struggling with hearing issues and has Philips HearLink hearing aids.  Philips has a TV adapter that provides a wireless signal to the hearing aids and works pretty well.The adapter can source content via RCA or TOSLINK optical. I originally thought a Sonos AMP would provide linkage for the hearing aid adapter.  It did for Sonos Radio and anything accessed through the Arc Ultra, but not through the TV.I think I have concluded a HDMI audio extractor is the solution.  My expectations are that it would pass through ARC/eARC audio via HDMI and RCA or TOSLINK optical audio simultaneously.Has anyone experienced a similar situation or have recommendations?

After the latest Iphone update “Your Sources” no longer show up as an option in the Sonos app.  This is how we connect back to the TV once we are finished listening to music.  How do I add “Your Sources” back to the Sonos App?

After the recent Sonos system update all voice enabled devices have failed to install or load Google Assistant.  Sonos support is blaming Google due to Gemini and Google is blaming Sonos for a very poor app link integration. Shockingly Amazon Alexa and Sonos Voice work fine but for users who have all of their home automation on Google Assistant/Google Home they are screwed again. Please resolve this issue!

I recently purchased a Sonos system, and the sound is wonderful.  However, I can not get my streaming music (Spotify) to stay connected.  It will play for up to 30 minutes, and then Sonos is disconnected from my network.  But this does not happen when I am watching TV.  The sound is continuous throughout the time that I am watching my programing.  I have a new modem/router through Spectrum, and I have a Beam, three Era’s and a Roam 2.  This is super frustrating and I was very much looking forward to this system but I am on the verge of returning it.  Please help.

I have tried countless times to get my Sonos Ray to connect to my wifi and while it will connect if I put it into the router via an ethernet connection the moment I move it to the room I want to use it in it doesn’t find the network and won’t work. I am at my wits end with this product. Anyone got any suggestions? thanks

Hi All, I have a complete surround system (arc ultra, sub mini and 2 era 300 speakers.I would like to create a separate group just with the 2 era 300 lo listen to music instead of using the complete surround systemIs it possible to do that? how? Thanks

Hello guys.We have been quite happily living in the S1 world, not seeing a reason to move to S2. However our venerable Home Theatre System has decided to die. So we think that we might replace it with a Beam (our heads won’t less us buy an ARC as we don’t actually watch that much TV). We might need to hit eBay or similar to replace a Gen 1 Connect but that is a minor concern 3 questionsWe have lost track of progress on the S2 App. What features, if any, available in S1 have still not been implemented in S2?  We have pairs of Play3, Play1 and One SL any suggestions as to which we should use as surround speakers? Which? Magazine in the UK doesn’t rate the Beam - can they be safely ignored?Thanks for any thoughts
