I currently use a Marantz NR1200 as my amp and am looking to add an element of surround sound to my tv set up. I was hoping to add the Sonos Ultra arc to give me a more cinematic experience. Will the Sonas Ultra arc be compatible with my existing amp??? 

Can someone tell me if there’s a cheaper way to connect an era 100 to a turntable that doesn’t have bluetooth

I have had my Arc Ultra along with two Era 100 and a sub mini for about a month. This is by far the best sound I have ever had watching Movies, TV, etc... I'm incredibly satisfied... But.As title says, when I play PS5 games (only console I have), the in-game volume is way too quiet. The Sonos volume is adjusted to what I like (50/100) and volume is great in everything, TV, AppleTV, watching movies, etc... The volume is also right in the PS5 menu. Like, normal level across all devices. But in-game is way too quiet.My TV (LG C1) audio is set to HDMI eARC on passthrough. The PS5 is set to Sound Bar, Dolby Atmos (tried Linear PCM too). I have tried numerious combinations of these settings. No luck. When I'm in game, the Sonos app reports Dolby Atmos output. (Multichannel PCM 7.1 if I set the PS5 to Linear PCM)The in-game audio settings are not at play here. They're maxed out. Hi, I have recently upgraded my entire Home Cinema setup and am getting results I don’t fully understand.When I play Dolby Atmos content (media in local network, often DDP with Atmos) I get different results shown in te Sonos app depending on where I play it:Plex app, client on Sony TV (Google TV) → Sonos app displays “Dolby Atmos”  Plex app, client on AppleTV 4K (3. gen) → Sonos app displays “Multichannel PCM 5.1” My question:Is Sonos simply not ‘labelling’ the audio format correctly in the Sonos app when playing via AppleTV, or is the audio actually being ‘downgraded’ to 5.1 and the Atmos being lost?Just for context, my setup is Sonos Arc Ultra (connected to TV via HDMI, eARC) Sony Bravia 8 II Apple TV 4K (Plex server running on macmini, content stored on NAS)

For years i have used my Google Assistant automation routine “Hey Google, Local news” to play my local new radio station. I use a routine because every once in a while Google stops recognizing  the station name and needs a different name to work. I just change the routine so I can keep on saying “Local news” as usual.But a new bug cropped up today. Google Assistant running on my Google Home speakers still plays the correct station from the Play Radio Station command in the routine, but Sonos instead tries to play a Spotify playlist instead of a radio station. Something is newly being lost in translation between Google and Sonos.I have fixed it for the moment by changing the routine command to say specifically to play the station from Tune In.

Hello. A few months ago I bought a Sonos Arc Ultra, 2 Era 300s and two Sub 4s. It's working on an 85" TCL TV connected to an Apple TV 4K. The audio quality is spectacular. However, I'm having two problems:When I leave the system off for 10 minutes, when I turn it back on, the sound takes about 5 seconds to be heard. It's as if the amplifiers are turned off and only turn on after receiving a signal via HDMI.The other problem is the lack of volume under certain conditions. I've done extensive research online, and absolutely everything in the TV and Apple TV setup is in line with what's needed to get the best results. I've also tried TruePlay in various ways. Few content can be heard satisfactorily in terms of volume without using at least 70%.For comparison, I also have a Bose 600 + 5" subwoofer, and the volume of both systems is very similar, perhaps a little louder with the Bose.I've tried using the Apple TV output only, but the volume results are the same. The volume slider in Sonos app constantly resets to a very low volume, appropriately 15%. The app is up to date and I have unplugged and plugged in an attempt to reboot system. Nothing system seems to affect this and it makes the entire system useless. Anyone else experiencing this? Any tips or suggestions? Thanks for anything you got. 

Alexa show + stereo paired SONOS ones.I ask Alexa to play music, I have the SONOS skill enabled and music starts to play.I then tell Alexa to stop playing music and the music stopsAn hour or so later the music just starts again.   This can happen at random times as well as throughout the night.1. I should not need to enable or disable an Alexa skill.  This is a temp workaround, not a fix.2. There is no way in the SONOS app to clear a queue.  This is a SONOS feature request.3. Random playing of music that has been paused in the SONOS app - This is a SONOS bug and caused by bad state handling.  Need a feature as in 2 to make sure the queue can be cleared.4. I’ve just set up an IoT network on my home WiFi, to improve network security. I’ve successfully added my Play:1 to the IoT network. However my iPhone is on my main home WiFi network. Now the Sonos app on my phone can’t see nor control the Play:1. Has anyone resolved this issue?

I bought 4 era 100 and a gen 4 sub for a TV entertainment room thinking I could connect everything via Bluetooth and make a mock surround sound. However, you can only group 2 era 100s + a sub, so i have to make 2 sets. Bluetooth will only connect to 1 set at a time. I have successfully added the 2nd group after connecting to Bluetooth on my TV, but it rarely works. Looking for any advice to make this work preferably with the least path of resistance and cost. Thanks in advance. 

Afternoon all.Received an email (two in fact) from Sonos offering a 25% discount on range. But when I link to it, it routes to Sonos US not UK.Just curious if it’s applicable to UK purchases? I’m in the market just now.Tried asking Sonos using Sonos live chat but when the Sonos bot has finished with you and tries to connect you to an agent, the chat window just disappears. Don’t know why but is consistent.Interested if the discount is usable here. Anyone know about that?Many thanks

Hi allMy setup is Beam Gen 2, 2 x Ones SL for rears and the sub mini. Prices on the Sonos Arc have dropped since the Ultra was launched and now it sells in Europe at 499 euros, same as a the Beam Gen 2. Is it worth it to change? The setup is used 70% movies and 30% spotty streaming.Thanks in Advance Dimitris

I am noticing that the volume on my Sonos speaker sometimes changes on its own while music or TV audio is playing. There is no one else controlling it from the app, and I am not using voice assistants at the time.This happens randomly and can go either louder or quieter. I am using the Sonos app on my phone and the speaker is connected to my home Wi-Fi network.Has anyone experienced this before? Could this be related to TV remote signals, HDMI-ARC, or another app connected to Sonos?

Hi all,I was curious if anyone had come across this issue, or a similar one, with the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) - Audio generating audio feedback? In this particular instance it occurred on the Thor (2011) blu-ray during Loki hammer scene, where Loki attempts to pick up Thor’s hammer. This is the only instance I’ve had of this issue and I’m wondering if it’s possibly the blu-ray itself but before I pony up for a new one, I figured I’d ask here.

Can I listen music by wire using Sonos roam via adapter?

Hello Sonos Team and Community,I own multiple Sonos speakers (including One SL) and have been a loyal user for years. Recently, I can no longer play Radio Rock (Finland) on Sonos. Instead of the station, I only get “Welcome to TuneIn” and ads looping endlessly.Here’s what I’ve tried:Removed and re-added TuneIn (New) in the Sonos app Logged in with my TuneIn account and added Radio Rock as a favorite Rebooted speakers, reset network, cleared cache Tried Sonos desktop app and mobile app Verified that the station works in TuneIn’s own appNothing works. Previously, I could add a custom stream URL to Sonos and bypass TuneIn issues, but Sonos removed that feature in recent updates. This leaves me with no way to listen to a major Finnish radio station on a multi-thousand-euro system.This is unacceptable. Dear all, I’ve recently purchased the second ERA 100 for better stereo imaging. If a single one blew me away, eventually, two will set it to stratosphere…Anyway, I am a vinyl afficionado and would like to listen to LPs. I also have a substantial CD collection that I don’t want to get rid of.I bought the Sonos line in adapter and it works perfectly for the CD. Concerning the Turntable, I have a an integrated amp (Advance Acoustics MAP 305 DA II) that has a line out. This means I am able to connect the Turntable and CD into the amp and feed the Sonos via the Line in adapter.So, instead of having to switch on the amp every time I want to listen to the above sources, I was thinking about a sort of an RCA hub to connect all the sources (phono pre-amp included) via the Sonos line in adapter to one of the 100s. I´ve seen some equipment online but I am quite unaware of any specific or reference quality model.Ultimately, I can buy another Sonos line in adapter and connect it to the other ERA 10

I got this 25% discount offer (illustrated below) in the Sonos app but it never gets applied on the actual site. I got all the way to "place order" but nothing, no sign of any discount anywhere. Is this discount real or just yet another instance in an ever longer line of Sonos "app stuff that doesn't work"? If real then why isn't it being applied in any part of the purchase process?? (Yes I reached the site by clicking in-app & yes I am logged in.)

Hi, thought I would ask here first before contacting Sonos support. I own a variety of era 100s and 300s and a gem 2 beam in different rooms. I can play music directly fly through my tidal app and cast it to whatever speaker with no issue whatsoever. However when I try to play music through the Sonos app and select a speaker it just loads and eventually says it’s having trouble. Interestingly I can play a song straight away in the Sonos app of if I click the three dots and click play now (I think this is some kind of queue function). I tried removing and re authorising my tidal account through the Sonos app but to no avail. Any suggestions would be appreciated.thanks
