Hi everyone 👋I’m looking for some advice on which HDMI audio extractor to use with a simple home theater setup.My setup is: Sonos Beam 2× Sonos One SL (rear surrounds) Sonos Sub (Gen 2) Apple TV Projector (not 4K) I don’t need Dolby Atmos — I only need Dolby Digital 5.1 and I’m not trying to pass anything more advanced than that.Up until now I’ve been using a Nedis HDMI audio extractor between the Apple TV and the projector/Sonos. It worked fine for a long time, but recently the audio suddenly drops out after a while when watching content via Apple TV. If I restart my Sonos Beam the audio comes back, but then disappears again after some time.If I play audio directly via the Sonos app there are no issues at all, so it doesn’t seem to be the Beam itself.So I’m just looking for a stable extractor that can: handle Apple TV → projector pass Dolby Digital 5.1 to the Beam doesn’t have to support Atmos, TrueHD, etc. doesn’t need to be fancy — just reliable Thanks in advance! 🙏

When watching TV - how can I resolve the popping and clicking noise from my Era 300?.

Hi!  I bought my dad a couple of ERA 100’s an a separate cd player for Christmas. His old Bose cd player had stopped working. I used the Sonos inline adapter to connect to the cd player using an aux cable. Sounds great on the songs, but in between each song or when you do anything with the cd player remote the era 100 makes a super annoying popping noise. I’ve tried calling the customer support but haven’t gotten any help. I’ve ordered a replacement inline adapter, a couple different cd players, and a ground loop noise isolated to try and trouble shoot this.  Super frustrating trying to get something to work for my dad that was super simple with his old Bose stereo. Anyone else have this issue or suggestions?

Always when I change volume of tv by my tv remote control it appears text on tv: "the volume of the sound is constant" + warning sign.  It is just annoying 

I have a Ray and 2 Sonos speakers. The Ray is connected with an optic cable to my TV and my Sonos speakers are connected via wifi. I never have any issues with the Ray, however, my Sonos Era speakers constantly go out. I’ve invested so much time and money into these just for the sound to be miserable.I have upgraded my router to a high-end one that is supposed to be great for distance and wall penetration. I’ve also moved my router in hopes that would help. I have tried buying wifi extensions just in case it was a signal issue, but all signs say the signal is fine. I feel like I’ve done any troubleshooting step there is. Can anybody help? 😩

For a over a year, I needed to remove and reinstall SONOS app on my mac to get it to work. After restarting MAC sonos app stopped working.Now it has also stopped working on my IPAD and IPHONE.This is the only application in the apple environment that has continued endless problems.Please hire some programmers that understand how to program in the mac/ios environment.or just give us a remote control. Getting retired of this problem.today none of my devices have a functioning SONOS app.yes, have removed and installed multiple times. 

Hi, I have a Sony Bravia 8 and have my Sonos Arc Ultra with Sub 3 and 2 Era 300sWhen I watch a movie doesn’t matter the audio format Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital Plus etc, I get intermittent audio dropouts/glitches throughout the movie randomly and happens for a second around every 15-30 mins during the movie. Very annoying I have contacted Sonos support and after being through 6 people the 7th person finally knew what I was talking about and they said they are aware of the issue but have no information at this time. hopefully this gets sorted and they fix this issue in the next update.

Hello. A few months ago I bought a Sonos Arc Ultra, 2 Era 300s and two Sub 4s. It's working on an 85" TCL TV connected to an Apple TV 4K. The audio quality is spectacular. However, I'm having two problems:When I leave the system off for 10 minutes, when I turn it back on, the sound takes about 5 seconds to be heard. It's as if the amplifiers are turned off and only turn on after receiving a signal via HDMI.The other problem is the lack of volume under certain conditions. I've done extensive research online, and absolutely everything in the TV and Apple TV setup is in line with what's needed to get the best results. I've also tried TruePlay in various ways. Few content can be heard satisfactorily in terms of volume without using at least 70%.For comparison, I also have a Bose 600 + 5" subwoofer, and the volume of both systems is very similar, perhaps a little louder with the Bose.I've tried using the Apple TV output only, but the volume results are the same. I have 2 x sonos One (different rooms) that respond to voice command ok EXCEPT they will not play/cease/change music input. They announce the new station, but nothing changes. I have spent 2 days on this following a router replacement, and this is the only remaining problem…. other kit is play 3 and a Connect, now all fine again. System has been in place about 6 years with no problems. Alexa enabled as voice assist on Sonos…..sonos skill added to devices.music sources required are amazon music, bbc sounds,( radio 4, radio 3.) 

Can anyone hjelp? I have a "line in" audio signal on my Sonos Port. Now, I don't find the line in as an option in the Android app. What is wrong? Another "update" by Sonos?  

I have my Sonos system wit my beam and surround plays and two bookshelf speakers. However, my Sonos Play seems trapped on a second system. Nowhere on the app am I allowed to delete the second system or to merge them so I’m unable to use my PLAY. I’ve factory reset it a number of times but it says it’s added to the WiFi but not the system. It’s the speaker I use for music and I’m getting nowhere with it.  any help or advice would be much appreciated! thanksChris

Why is it not possible to see the battery left on the roam 2 on an android device when connected over bluetooth(without using the app or asking vc)? I feel like much cheaper speakers are able to do this, it shouldn’t be a problem.Also, it would be nice to have a battery health page, that shows the maximum available capacity compared to stock.Otherwise pretty satisfied.

Have seen numerous comments on setting up a record player but need to add a receiver to the mix for signal boost. I have Kenwood KD-3070 turntable with RCA jacks and a Onkyo TX-SV444 receiver with many input/output ports. See pictures. I am guessing I connect the turntable to receiver (RCA) then receiver to ? to connect to my SONOS 100 speakers. Looking for guidance please with clear non-audiophile description. what connects to what description. I would assume that the connection from the new SONOS device would connect to SONOS speakers via WiFi? Thank You very much for input.

Hi Everyone,I have been using YouTube music on my Sonos Move 1 for a very long time. Recently google assistant and YouTube Music stopped working - Say around either later 2025 Dec or Early 2026 Jan. I have had a few issues in the past using YouTube music on Sonos and familiar with the standard fixes like remove accounts and re-authentication google etc,. Som after the remove/add accounts, the Google Assistant works but not YT Music. So this seems to be down to YT Music this time.I use Google Premium family. The Google account I have linked to Sonos is a member account. This account works perfectly on one of the iPhone’s YouTube Music App, so I know YT Music and this account have no issues. This is the same iPhone I used to setup the Sonos App and authenticate YouTube music Services to Sonos.This time around I can’t even play any YT music from the Sonos App. Says “Connection to YouTube was Lost” But YouTube music Apps works on the same device no issues.I found this troubleshooting link

My Sub Mini has never connected to Arc.  I have a red flashing light and it says Sub not found.  I do a factory reset and get a flashing white light, but still the same. 

My Play:5 Gen 2 was flawless for years, then suddenly started to drop streaming music a couple of years ago.  It’s frustrating as I see lots of others experiencing the same thing.  This is happening regardless of of the streaming music service; except when I use shuffle on my Pandora Stations!?  When a single station is selected (Pandora or otherwise), then it starts cutting out again.  Is that a clue? What’s different?  We have a 1Gbps internet, and Wifi mesh system to extend coverage.  I can’t believe it’s solely due to my network as Sonos keeps saying. Maybe Sonos reduced buffering a couple of years ago? Is there a way to increase buffering?

I am trying to stream from the Apple Classical app on my iPhone via AirPlay to Sonos Connect. Doesn’t work at all.

 Hi,Came back from 3 weeks vacation and wanted to listen to some nice music while unpacking. But my Sonos app did not show any of my speakers. I had to reboot the router and reinstall the app to make it work again.But: a day later same problem, all speakers gone.What is going on here?

Is there a plan to improve the volume control on app?

i have 2 move 2 speakers the work great except every so often i lose the settings on my mac I tried resetting each one but can onlyget one at a time to connect they were originally paired as link for stero but i unable find in app 

I dont know 100% what the amp is for . Recently my aunt passed away she had a Sonos connect amp and no other speakers except the ones in the wall . While packing her stuff a grabbed the amp  what can I do with it

hi everyone, i just upgraded my tv and unplugged my 2013 playbar. it was working perfectly before, but now that i've plugged it back in, there's no power.the only sign of life is a split-second flash of the three ethernet lights when i plug the cable into the back; after that, it goes completely dead. i’ve already ruled out the outlets and cables by testing them with other devices—the issue is definitely the bar itself.is this a known hardware failure, or is there a trick to bringing it back to life? thanks in advance!

As of a couple days ago I can no longer connect to PLEX.   I get“Something went wrong. Try Again” when click on artists from my favoritesand“No content items available” when clicking on Plex iconI can cast to my sonos speakers from the Plex app (not plexamp) on my computer.If gone through all the suggested steps I could find from the internet.  I guess my question is to see if anyone else is experiencing it or if it's just me (and for how long).  If its everyone, then hopefully its (another) screw up and they’ll get around to fixing it eventually. super frustrating that something that has worked for years just stopped working especially when its the reason I went with Sonos.
