Currently have arc + era 300 + sub3 connected to main tv. Have purchased arc ultra to use with main tv & will relocate arc + 2 x ones (from other areas of house to upstairs tv. Can I simply disconnect the existing ultra from tv & connect to other tv or is there a process to follow?

You’ll probably need to at least set up the remote on your new TV.
Under settings, your TV’s Room, Home Theater there are several setup options you probably should use for the TV Setup. IR control and Remote Control Setup.
I’d first remove the surrounds from the original Arc. As well as the Sub. You can then swap out the Arc with the Arc Ultra, but I wouldn’t worry about the remote volume thing, the remote volume commands would be carried by the CEC connection between the TV and the Arc Ultra, across the HDMI connection. Once you set up the Arc Ultra, you can ‘add’ the surrounds and Sub again.
