Hello,I have a Panasonic tv with Arc hdmi but not eARC one and I mainly use the Amazon Firestick 4k plugged into my tv to see movies. Is there any way to enjoy the sound quality of Dolby atmos movies with my Sonos arc ultra with this configuration ?  Best,Xavkyo

New Arc Ultra owner here. Is the Upgrade / Trade Up program still a thing? I can’t find anything in my account on it. I’m in Canada.

I have a stereo pair of legacy Sonos One SL’s in a room called “Computer Room”. I cannot use Sonos voice control to control those speakers from other rooms in my house that have voice control enabled Sonos speakers and soundbars. I've tried changing the room name but still no luck. I have no trouble controlling the other rooms remotely. This should work. I am running with the latest firmware update on all speakers 92.0-71170. Any ideas?

Hi everyone,for the past couple of months I’ve been experiencing a strange issue with my Sonos One with Alexa built in. It looks like Alexa has automatically enabled Follow-Up Mode (the mode where, after a command, it chimes again and keeps listening without saying the wake word).The problem is that there is no option to enable or disable Follow-Up Mode on the Sonos One, and I never turned it on.This is what happens:after giving any command, Alexa plays the chime again and stays in listening mode, as if waiting for a second command.I’ve tried everything:• Factory reset of the Sonos One• Resetting the Alexa app• Removing and re-adding the device• Various reboots, network resets, etc.Nothing worked.Has anyone experienced this or knows how to fix it?It’s getting really annoying because it keeps listening after every command.Thanks!

The app is on Iphone. Pretty sure it never used to do this.

… and yes I have reinstalled the whole system and yes it’s all on one wi-fi network.  It’s better than it was a year ago, but it still poops the bed regularly.  Is it going to get any better, or is this Sonos now?

If I change the audio and playback settings in the Android tidal app does that also change the bitrate of Sonos playback when using Tidal connect? My understanding is that it doesn't and that Sonos will use the highest bitrate file available for the Tidal subscription being used; but as for some bizarre and unhelpful reason Sonos S1 (does S2 still do this?) keeps the bitrate of a playing track a secret, it's hard to know for sure? Anyone know the answer to this?

No one seems able to help me with this on a Sunday, but I’m trying to migrate all my Sonos speakers from one WiFi network to another.   I’ve been on the Chat with several agents for hours.   Evert time starting the whole sorry tale over- Chat Bot to real person.  One agent told me to unplug the router.   Great! So the chat disconnects and start and I over yet again.   I live with both dyslexia and dyscalculia, but no alliance is made for this.   We are changing our broadband provider from Sky (due to cost and poor speeds) to Pkusnet (will be full fibre etc).  To take advantage of the speeds from day one, I have purchased a TO Deco mesh system (3 units)  I have the first plugged by Ethernet into the Sky (for now) router.    The new WiFi network works perfectly.   All WiFi tech is able to join (desktops, iPads, android and Apple phones etc).  Now comes the problem.  In the Sonos app I was able to get the Beam to join the new network and a SL in a different room.   However, very long stor

Hi folks,I have had a bit of a saga with my Sonos Connect working with my Sonos system. Quick Summary:Upon purchase, successfully added Sonos Connect Gen 2 to system that includes 2 Play:1s, one Play:5, and a Roam.  After some time, the Line In showed as Disconnected, and ultimately the Connect needed a system update that it could not execute. This was resolved with Sonos Support after successfully updating while connected via Ethernet.  Several weeks later, the Sonos Connect Line-In again showed disconnected and needed a system update that it could not execute via Wi-Fi. This time nothing worked (all the flavors of reboots on the phone with Sonos Support).  Out of curiosity, I took the Connect to another house and connected it to my in-laws’ Sonos system, on which it successfully updated and added to the system via Wi-Fi, When I took the Connect back to my home, hard reset, and tried to add to my system, it still shows as Not Registered (which it didn’t on my in-laws’ system). What is the optimum speaker setup as to Sub distance from soundbar and surround speakers. Does it matter where they are placed?

One of my era 300 is set up, it  works fine, the sound is ok, but the indicator light flashes very quickly (green and orange) randomly, also when this happens, it happens with a sound like a click when the color changes.

Hi all, I bought an Arc Ultra about a month ago and hooked it up to my Hisense TV. I have it plugged into the eARC port, CEC and all that is turned on. The only other thing plugged into the TV is an Apple TV 4K which is how we watch everything on the TV. About once per day the TV shuts off. The audio comes through the soundbar but you can’t actually use the TV again until you unplug it and plug it back in. Anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks. 

Hi as per title - Is anyone having problem with Apple Music Recently Added? I'm getting Something went wrong. Try again.I normally use this ‘feature’ a lot I add new music in Apple Music app and then switch to Sonos to play it. I’ve been away a few days and just got back and I’m now getting this error. Everything else is OK. I tried removing and re adding service but same error. I’ve log the problem with Sonos support. Thanks

Hello, I have a problem with my Sonos Arc. After resetting it, I can't add it to the app. I've tried everything and nothing works. Could you please advise me on how to do this? 

This problem is new to me. When I either scan my NAS library for more music, or remove the library and reattach it, I get two or three albums which index incorrectly. Specifically:The album appears 3 times in the album list Each instance contains the SAME single track (not different tracks, as would be the case if there was an AlbumArtist tagging issue) The other tracks in the album aren't shown anywhere The album can be seen in full and played from the folder navigation No changes have been made to the folder structure or tagging on the original filesI've attached screenshots. The key point seems to be each instance contains the same single track, not different tracks as happens if the tagging on a compilation album is incorrect. This usually corrects itself if I go into the underlying file structure and move the MP3 files into a newly created folder (a tip I saw elsewhere in this forum). I have a speaker group in 3 rooms. I use AirPlay to send audio to the AirPlay-compatible speaker in one room (bedroom), and then have the other two rooms (living room and office) in the same group.  For some reason this group does not stay in place. Every time I play music, I see that Sonos has undone the group and I have to configure it again.   Is there a trick to getting the group to stay configured as such? And keep it permanently?

I used my upgrade credit a while back for my play 5. Still have the device, am I able to give to someone else to use or can it only be put in the bin?  

As the title says. When using a wired (usb c - c  the one that came with the product) the rocker button on the headphones will only turn the volume down. I can turn the volume up and down with the phones (Pixel 10 pro) physical buttons and also when using Bluetooth. But can't raise volume when wired.  Anyone else? 

i’ve seen this on an old topic which is now closed. Playing wxrt on audacy on my sonos (original play1 speakers) and it will start up plating and just stops after 5 minutes or so.  sometimes it will play all day if i leave it on but lately im lucky if the station plays 10 minutes. sometimes it comes back on but usually not. if i have the app open, it just shows  that the music is stopped and i can hit the play button to resume. but again it my stop again a few minutes later. it’s not my wifi. if i play the same station and app on my receiver with bluos, it plays fine and doesn’t disconnect. 

I have one speaker on one system. the other 2 are on another. I have one more speaker to connect and want all on one system I also had to change my wifi extender to one band instead of dual band. should I create a new wifi network for just the Sonos system?my goal is to make this all work seamlessly and have full use of the dual band extenders this is the message I get when I try to connect to the other 2 speakers  Moderator edit: Removed pictures with identifying information (serial numbers)

Hi all,I tried many time after updating to iOS 26 and wanted to connect with Sonos app to my Sonos play 1. But it does not work and even when I connect cable it works but once I take out the cable again it is gone and not working. Anyone know the issue ? Thanks 

I am totally fed up. I have thousands of dollars invested in this product and now on Thanksgiving day the entire system has disappeared. I opened the app and I get an error message saying it can’t find any products on the network so does this mean I have to set the entire thing up again? Honestly, I hate this product. It has been nothing but inconsistent and unstable sometimes it works perfectly sometimes it doesn’t . really Sonos get your act together. This is no way to treat loyal customers. Your products are buggy and don’t consistently work. I’m looking to bail out of your system as soon as I possibly can thank you for ruining my Thanksgiving

HiI have a play bar a sub a bridge a play3 and 5 play1 in various rooms.My problem is that often usually when we have a party , the system plays up like 1 speaker will drop off then 2 then the whole system will drop off then it comes back on its own then when we think it’s safe to start dancing again it will drop. The whole system is over 10 years old so I can only use S1 and the bridge firmware will not update. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
