Sonos Play 1 and Soundbar were connected and working. Play 1 stopped  working intermittently. Went through reset steps. Sonos wifi connects soundbar but not Play 1s.
Devices then seem to connect to home wifi but then drop off and cannot be located on the App. Help please!

Resetting rarely fixes an issue and often makes it worse.

Instead of a reset, next time try a system refresh by powering down ALL Sonos then reboot the router and controller then power the Sonos back up.  That often resolves the immediate issue without the additional problems a reset brings.

If you can provide the above information and your router make and model we should be able to help.

Assuming you had two Play 1’s  bonded to your soundbar as surrounds in the beginning here’s what happens next…

If you reset your Play:1s and added them back to your Sonos system they should appear as separate rooms. To re-bond them as surrounds to whatever soundbar you have you must open the room that has the soundbar and select add surrounds.

Caution: If the Play1’s are listed as a stereo pair that pairing must be broken first to get them back to individual room status before adding them as surrounds.
