New to Sonos:Arc Ultra sound, sub & Era 300: how to (regularly) change individual volumes of Era300 without disturbing overall surround sound (i.e. I want to bring up the volume of Era300 at times, but keep it in the overall surround system)?

I have an Amazon Fire TV stick and I would like to hear the TV audio through a Sonos AMP. I do not plan on adding a soundbar. The entire setup will consist of only the amp and a pair of sonos in-wall speakers.I found an old article (5 years old) detailing how to extract audio using an HDMI audio extractor along with a sonos optical audio adapter, which seems rather archaic…So I have 2 questions:Could I just connect the Fire TV to the TV and using the HDMI/ARC connect the TV to the AMP? Would I be able to adjust the Sonos volume though arc? Could I then still create a group in the Alexa app combining an echo device to the amp to stream music trough it WITHOUT using the sonos app? How would that work if I’m already watching TV and play music through Alexa at the same time? 

I screwed up and added my new Era 100 to its own system, not the current system that my Beam is on.I keep trying to forget the system for the Era but it stays there. I added another era 100 to the original system  Am I screwed?

I am thinking of adding an Arc Ultra to my TV.  Existing system are all older Play1 and Play 5 speakers and still using the older App.Will the Arc Ultra be usable with the old App and will I be able to add a couple of Play1s as surround speakers ? Not upgraded yet because of the cost and the fact they still sound great. 

I have been using Sonos for 22 years. Today, my Sonos app on the Mac suddenly couldn’t find the Music Library I keep on the computer. After several other attempted fixes, I deleted the Music Library in Sonos and tried to add it back, but it wouldn’t do so. Nothing has changed on my system, as far as I am aware. Firewall and file sharing appear correctly set up. I use Sonos S1 controller on the Mac, and am running mac OS Sequoia 15.7.3.Any ideas, anyone?

System is saying I need to reboot built in speakers and saying no Internet connection.  Sonos roam is working.    how do I reboot my built in speakers? 

I currently have a Playbar, two Play:1s as surrounds , a Sub Gen 1 and another Play:1 in my wife's studio. If I replaced the Playbar with an Arc Ultra I believe I would have to replace the Play:1 surrounds but not the Sub. But would I still be bale to use the Play1 in my wife's studio and place the replaced surround Play:1s in other rooms of the house? 

Hi all,I recently attempted to claim warranty support for my Sonos products and discovered that Sonos does not appear to use the purchase invoice to validate warranty. I’ve changed my WiFi network and moved te music library to a NAS drive.  Sonos app can not find any hardware 

Anyone else getting this? When you click the play triangle, it shows the square stop for a moment (which shows when it’s playing), and then goes back to the play triangle. The infinite mix channels are fine, but Live on 1 and Live on 2 are not working.

I just bought a new sonos speaker the Era 100, i already had the Sonos One gen2, when i try to set an alarm from the app it immediately cancels out, not even a nanosecond and it’s gone idk what’s wrong.i bought the a new Era 100 and same issue with the sono one gen 2 i don’t even know what’s wrong to say im speechless. i have tried everything resetting the speakers the app everything.

Hi group,I bought a Beam gen2 and a pair of Era 100’s a year ago.  The wifi network setup went well and the Era 100’s were added as surrounds.  After some time they stopped working.  I factory reset the Era 100’s and re-added them but they would no longer work as surrounds.I found advice on Reddit that said this functionality was corrupted by a firmware update (no specifics given) and was now a common problem.  Further advice recommended connecting the Beam to ethernet and disabling wifi on the Beam which I did.  As proof of concept I did this by running a long ethernet cable down the stairs and across my living room to the Beam.  With the Beam on ethernet and the Era 100’s on wifie the Era 100’s would connect as surrounds.  If I re-enabled wifi on the Beam the surrounds would disconnect.Since I can’t have wired network where I use the Sonos system I can no longer have surround presumably until the broken firmware is fixed.I’m open to ideas and suggestions .Kind regards.

Have seen numerous comments on setting up a record player but need to add a receiver to the mix for signal boost. I have Kenwood KD-3070 turntable with RCA jacks and a Onkyo TX-SV444 receiver with many input/output ports. See pictures. I am guessing I connect the turntable to receiver (RCA) then receiver to ? to connect to my SONOS 100 speakers. Looking for guidance please with clear non-audiophile description. what connects to what description. I would assume that the connection from the new SONOS device would connect to SONOS speakers via WiFi? Thank You very much for input.

Long shot but any help welcome. I plugged my new Beam into my LG C9 HDMI 2 port, flipped the option for EARC in TV settings, hit the button to set up my TV in the Sonos app… and immediately got the HDMI ARC not detected screen. After a lot of googling I disconnected all other inputs, power cycled the TV and Beam, played with turning eARC off and basically everything any AI Overview or forum post suggests. Anyone got anything to suggest beyond setting to fire to both devices? I naively thought this should be easy 

Hi all! I have the most odd “issue” (complaint?), and wanted to see whether others had the same experience. I recently bought a Sonos Beam 2 and the audio is weirdly biased leftward. This is particularly interesting since I previously bought (and returned) an Arc and Arc Ultra for the exact same issue. But my daily driver has been a Playbase which has no directional bias and sounds fantastic. I also have a Playbar which has no bias.I searched around and saw that others had this observation, too. Are the tweeters on these speakers somehow left-oriented or left-positioned?For context, I am in a small room and sitting about 6-7ft from my TV. There is a wall about 5-6 feet to the right of my TV when facing it, and the wall on the left is far away.I am having the issue regardless of TruePlay or input source, or surrounds. But again, the Playbase and Playbar are perfect! (I only swapped them out because I am getting a weird ~5-20ms audio delay over optical with my TV’s latest update).Any adv

I have 8 devices and mostly the system is robust.  However, for parties I may take a couple of speakers from upstairs and place them downstairs to provide full house ground floor coverage and play them grouped together.Never seems to work.  Some of the speakers seem to play for a minute or two and then stop and then randomly start and stop again.I am all Wi-Fi and all updates been donePay 5 Gen 2 Stereo pair with Sub, Era 100, Move Gen 1, Play 1 and 2 x Sonos 1 Are there still app issues with grouping?

J’envisage l’achat d’un sonos Amp de tel sorte à pouvoir connecter ma platine disque et mes enceintes passives. Would it be okay to mount the Arc above a 98 inch TV I just purchased?  It will be sitting on the floor with the provided legs which I believe have about 3.5 inches of clearance below the TV.  The only option I see it to mount it above.  I keep reading don't but it's always a TV that's wall mounted and would be much higher than my situation.

Hi. I like to use my Move (first gen) to connect via Bluetooth to my projector. It sometimes works fine and I can watch all night with no issue but often it will connect, works for 10 seconds, then cuts out. On these occasions no amount of disconnecting and reconnecting or even removing completely and re-adding will work. My question is, what changes on the occasions it works?! I often resort to using a Roam which always works but would obviously prefer the extra oomph of the Move. I have 2 move 1s and both have the same issue.  any ideas? 

Hi everyone 👋I’m looking for some advice on which HDMI audio extractor to use with a simple home theater setup.My setup is: Sonos Beam 2× Sonos One SL (rear surrounds) Sonos Sub (Gen 2) Apple TV Projector (not 4K) I don’t need Dolby Atmos — I only need Dolby Digital 5.1 and I’m not trying to pass anything more advanced than that.Up until now I’ve been using a Nedis HDMI audio extractor between the Apple TV and the projector/Sonos. It worked fine for a long time, but recently the audio suddenly drops out after a while when watching content via Apple TV. If I restart my Sonos Beam the audio comes back, but then disappears again after some time.If I play audio directly via the Sonos app there are no issues at all, so it doesn’t seem to be the Beam itself.So I’m just looking for a stable extractor that can: handle Apple TV → projector pass Dolby Digital 5.1 to the Beam doesn’t have to support Atmos, TrueHD, etc. doesn’t need to be fancy — just reliable Thanks in advance! 🙏
