Hi guys! I’m currently using 2 Era 100s paired with one another and 1 Play:1.I recently resubscribed to Tidal for its music quality, assuming that it would work seamlessly. To my surprise, I couldn’t seem to find Tidal in the list of music services on the Sonos platform. How to make this work?

I am unable to play my Spotify “liked” songs through the Sonos ap to my Sonos speakers. I can play all other Spotify features.  I saw other posts on this - with no real answer. Is this just a bug?  Is it because my liked songs list is 400+ or something else?  Thanks 

I have the latest version of the Sonos 1 Controller app running on my iMac Monterey version 12.7.6 with two Play 5 gen 1 speakers. The app cannot find the speakers although when going through the connection procedure it says “The Sonos app is now connected to your speakers”

Hi, sorry if this is a common question. I tried to find my exact issue but couldn't.I’m running a Samsung 4K TV, AppleTV 4k (1st gen), Sonos Beam 1 via arc hdmiMy main goal is to be able to adjust volume on the Beam with one of the remotes when the TV is off.  I’ve tried all options of IR/RF learning both TV and Apple TV remotes. Nothing is working.Currently when watching thru AppleTV the remote adjusts the Beam volume fine. Likewise when watching just the television alone (appleTV off) the Samsung remote adjusts the Beam fine. What I’d like to achieve is one of those remotes controlling the volume of the Beam while the TV is off and I’m just listening to the music, etc.I’d like to not have to open my phone for simple volume adjustments so please don't suggest. I currently use “Hey Sonos” which I find tedious as its idea of lower/higher volume is all over the place. I tend to have to throw multiple commands and volume numbers to get it right. Hello, I was wondering if it’s possible to play sound through the Sonos Arc and the Sonos Ace at the same time. My friend likes louder sound so he’d like to listen using the headphones while I would listen using the soundbar.

I recently Bought a used Sonos playbar on Facebook marketplace and am unable to connect to my PC. I bought optical to HDMI converter and the app doesn't seem to recognize it. I checked the cable and tried others ones regarding the optical and HDMI. I also provided the converter link I’m currently using down below. I also want to note that there is no light coming out of the optical when plugged into the play bar. It seems to be normal because I was able to get my hands a on another playbar and it did the same thing. So now I have no idea what the problem could be and would really appreciated some help on this. I have a solid HiFi system for my vinyl and CDs- NAD amp + Magnepans + RHLabs Sub but I am contemplating downsizing to getting a Sonos Port and running these audio sources through my Sonos system (Arc + Sub mini+ 2 Eras 100 surrounds). The audio sound space through the Sonos system (streaming) is so good that it is motivating me to downsize (and my wife would love to lose the gigantic Maggies from our living room). Would the best path be to get a Sonos Port and use the line outs from my NAD receiver to direct sources to the Port? Would I be able to direct a CD or TT source to my Sonos Arc+ Sub Mini+ Eras surrounds system? (I have an external Preamp for my TT). Thanks in advance.

Just unboxed an d the power cord will not stay connected. Seems to just fall out. 

We used to see album covers for our locally stored music library. I’ve been waiting for the Sonos app debacles to clear up. But it seems like there are still issues with album art showing up.  Some art/covers are shown, albeit slowly, after letting the app sit on the Music Library/Albums screen for awhile.  But not all.I should add, that in addition to that, on the Albums screen, I’m seeing quite a number of dupes. That is, the same album is listed multiple times.  I tap through and can verify that they are the exact same album just listed many times.Any information about that state of this?  I’ve done the “Scan for New Content” many times. That doesn’t seem to have any effect on either issue.

Hi allthe situation with the volume of Arc Ultra when streaming music is getting a bit ridiculous. At a volume of 20 I can barely hear any music. I also have a Sonos Amp, connected to 2 small speakers (Dali Oberon 1), and at 20 the volume there is quite nice, at 40 they blow up the room I’m in. At 40 the Arc Ultra is just getting started.Of course this is streaming specific -- when playing from a TV source, a volume of 20 on the Arc Ultra is more than adequate for my needs. The difference of volume when streaming to the Ultra vs. playing spotify through the TV (either with my TV app, or with AppleTV) is remarkable.I keep hearing that this is partly due to normalization -- but this doesn’t make sense. If Sonos implemented some logic to lower the volume due to normalization, surely such logic would be applied to the Sonos Amp as well.So, unless the “normalization” logic is specific to Arc Ultra, I think this is not a “feature”, but a bug -- and quite an annoying one at that, given other

Hi everyone,I can’t seem to catch a break with the Arc Ultra. The first two units I received had the distorted sound issue. I’ve now received my third unit — the distortion is gone, but I think I may have another problem but wanted to check with the community.The left side of the speaker sounds noticeably flatter and less punchy than the right, with a clear difference in bass output. I tested this by playing music through the Sonos app and running my hand across the speaker — the right side pushes out significantly more air, while the left feels much weaker, almost as if most of the bass is coming from the right.I’ve also noticed a slight echo sound when watching videos on YouTube via my Apple TV 4K which is connected to my Samsung TV. Is this normal behaviour or do I need to do something to prevent this from happening? I’ve already changed the output to passthrough on my TV as I’ve read that should be done to let the Arc Ultra handle the sound?I’ve run both standard and advanced Truep

Hello all!I own an Arc Ultra for my small living room. I am looking to make a Home Cinema with 2 x Roam 2. Will I be able to do it? I am thinking since the living room is small, 2 Roam 2 could be more than enough, and I will be able to use them as portable speakers for the terrace. Please, let me know if you think the set up (Arc Ultra+ 2 x Roam 2) is meant to be a home cinema. Thank you so much!

recently beginning of 2026, my sonos beam is getting "i can't connect to internet right now" error prompt voice when we try to use the google assistant.we tried to reinstall the voice assistant mutiple times, still having issue. sometimes, it worked for a while and then same error message again.after some research, people were talking gemini and sonos voice control conflicts in the same network. we remove gemini from my android phone, but the error still exist.any advice?

Hey folks. I’m running my Sony XBR-55X9004 TV through an Epson projector. The audio when watching TV programming (primarily sports) changed to very weak recently. Worked fine until recently. I first tried a new HDMI but that didn’t help. I then noticed the Stereo PCM display on my Sonos App. I have to crank the volume way up to get adequate volume. Volume works normally when listening to music via Sonos (displays Dolby Atmos) but when switching to TV the volume diminishes and display switches to Stereo PCM. The TV feed comes from a Sony TV (casting to a separate room using the projector). Everything else works great. Any help is appreciated! 

Hey folks,I eventually decided to migrate from S1 to S2. All my devices are compatible. So in the S1 app I clicked “upgrade to S2” (or whatever the wording was). Next the app asked me to install the S2 app, which is what I did. Opening the S2 app the system is detected but I get a prompt saying that the system is only compatible with S1. So I’m stuck: can’t upgrade from the S1 app and can’t add all the speakers to the S2 app.I’m sure that people had the issue before. What’s the best practice to resolve this?Would resetting to factory help?Thank you,mrpase

So to keep it simple; 3 units, two of them used as a surround setup with a beam. Since having them they work fine for hours, weeks, months until…. You up the volume. Then they start dropping out. All units (play ones) suffer from this issue.  I have had numerous cases over the passed years….. Sonos had me try everything; change channels, swap the setup, wired setup…..they keep insisting it is network related…. or power related (yeah right) the only thing cutting the power is the units themselves because they seem to have an issue. this can’t be network related or they would cut out / reboot more often. It only happens at higher volumes. I have even tested one of the units paired directly to a teltonika wired / wireless 4G routers and it still cut out / rebooted (powered of my home router) and even on a wired connection with this router it happened. Diagnostic:[redacted] I am 100% convinced this is bad batch as all units have been purchased from Sonos directly (so they’ve probably came

Hii am trying to setup a Sonos play 1 on lan my WiFi is on the same network but does not find device

Hi I've had this issue for a few weeks whereby every now and then - and I cannot put my finger on how often it occurs, maybe once a day, where the sound reduces and the green light flashes for a few seconds (like it's updating or something) then comes back to normal. Is this normal? It's bloody annoying.  Thanks

The Bluetooth speakers after an hour disconnecting and stay silent.the only thing I must do is unplugged the WiFi and the power in order to connect again. 

I recently moved apartments, and thus had to reset my Sonos Play:1 When adding the Spotify service I encountered no problems, I can browse my playlists and search for music in the Sonos app just fine. But whenever I try to play something from Spotify, the app loads for a while (~10 seconds) before giving an error message that connection to Spotify was broken. The same goes for trying to access my Sonos speaker through the Spotify app – I can see the speaker in question, but any connection attemps fails. This only seems to apply to the Spotify Service, as Sonos Radio plays just fine. I now live in a managed apartment, and don’t have admin rights/access to the wireless network. How do I resolve this?

My nephew gave me a Sonos Roam for Christmas. When I turn it off and leave it for a day the battery completely drains and I can’t even turn it back on unless I plug it in. I haven’t downloaded the app yet. Reading through the forum people have been writing about this issue with various Sonos speakers for more than 5 years. What the actual hell? If they think this is a “feature” they are insane. It makes the speaker completely useless. I travel a lot and he got it for me as a speaker I could pack and travel with. Definitely can’t travel with this thing. 

I have an Sonos Arc and era 100’s bought 2 era 300 and have had a terrible time hooking them up to all play the same thing at once. I keep getting a small crackle sound from the era 300’s. I figured they were defective exchange them and even the new ones are doing the same thing! I reset my router and all the speakers to factory settings and still happens. Why is this happening??
