Can you explain what your use case is? What do you want to achieve?

You might want the multiple systems capability if you have Sonos systems set up in more than one location.

Devices that are not found in the app will eventually drop off. Or if they are added to a different system/household, they will be removed from the previous. There is a new feature in a recent update (which I don’t have yet), that will let you hide, rather than remove, devices from the system. I think it might only be on Android in the latest update.

Kids, each on their own system so they can't mess with each other?

A spouse who is tired of you accidentally changing her volume or source and wants it stopped.

Remove, two parts.

Remove from the display,  power down and wait a few days and they go away. There might be a manual option to hide in an upcoming update.

Remove from the current system to add to another, haven't do e this one but maybe, re-register it to a different system.
