Why do Spotify playlists in the Sonos app not reflect the edits made to Spotify playlists in the Spotify app?

They should, but might need some time to update from the Spotify server. Try opening and closing the Sonos app.

I’ll give it a shot.  The edits, however, are quite old.

Update:  Tried swiping out then opening Sonos.  Still the playlists don’t match.  Several albums missing from the Spotify playlists in the Sonos app.

That suggests some sort of miscommunication between Spotify and your Sonos. I’d be tempted to remove Spotify from your Sonos system completely, then wait 5 minutes, and add it back in. That should force a reauthorize/reconnect of your account, and should grab all the appropriate data (and maintain it). If, however, that doesn’t change the behavior, I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it. Don’t post the resulting diagnostic number here.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

It actually may be worth a reboot process, too. Depends on why the Sonos devices are ‘stuck’ on the old data.
