My right surround (Play S1) randomly plays birdsong. It usually happens in the morning when I do not have the TV on but occasionally happens while I'm watching TV and have the front sound playing through my beam. 

System has 15 devices and all running latest Sonos software.  Been a long time user (10+ years) and been through a lot of bumps over the years.  Right now running Mac OSX Tahoe 26.2 on a M4 Mac.  Both iPad and iPhones work flawlessly all the time, but the Mac about every 2-3 weeks cannot find my system.  I am so tired of the usual restart everything ( router, computer, speakers, amps, etc) that I want to trash the whole system.  If I'm sitting at my office and using only my computer I can rarely control the system.  Why the simplicity of the iOS and the lack of OSX reliability.   Haven’t changed a thing in the house, running fiber at 1GB same as always, with good coverage everywhere.  I refuse to run all over and disconnect and reconnect for 2-3 weeks of use, someone explain why one works and the other doesn’t.   All I hear is that must be a network issue, but if iPads running only on WiFi work why not the Mac?

Hello!Not sure if it's Mac OS related or Sonos app related but I can no longer find my system on my Mac mini. My iPhone works fine and my MacBook Pro also works fine discovering the system. I have deleted the app and reinstalled, made sure network and firewall access was enabled and still nothing. Anyone have similar issue with a fix? 

I have switched the remote to IR mode, but the play bar doesn’t recognise it. Any ideas?

Hi all,I’m looking for a bit of real-world advice before upgrading part of my Sonos setup.I currently have: 2 × Play:1 1 × Play:3 Sonos One Sonos Port Era 300 We’ve recently switched over to Apple Music and are mostly using AirPlay / Apple Music integration alongside the Sonos app.I’m considering replacing the two Play:1s with two Era 100s, and I’m trying to get a feel for whether the upgrade is genuinely worthwhile.A couple of questions I’d really appreciate views on:1. Sound quality:Is the jump in sound quality from Play:1 → Era 100 actually noticeable in day-to-day listening, particularly with Apple Music (lossless / Atmos where applicable)? Or is it more of an incremental improvement?2. I have started to notice that new playlists when created in Apple Music are not syncing or even appearing in the playlist option in my Sonos app. if Io delete an old playlist is is removed and disappears from the list on both app and desktop. but if I recreate it, it is not seen anywhere apart from inside Apple Music on the Mac or iPhone.I have removed everything app / service from both Mac & iPhone but it has made no difference, also I am getting duplicated playlist I have 4 copies of the “Favourites” I am using S2 system with iOS 26.2 and latest Sonos app and firmwareI have tried everything I can think ofAnybody got any ideas?

I had the S1 app for many years - all was working fine with Alexa. I could ask Alexa to play “x” on “y” room.I upgraded some of my Sonos ecosystem - but couldn’t afford to upgrade all to S2 app compatibility. Therefore I have 3 speakers on S1 and the rest on S2. But that seems to have created a problem where all Sonos elements show as ‘online’ on the list devices page - but when I click into each speaker/amp/etc - they are all offline. Since Sonos Voice Control was released, it has responded to 100% of my first command after saying “Hey Sonos”. (Unless of course I asked it something it couldn't do, that's on me, not it)  However, while it’s sitting there in “Follow up/Continued Conversation” mode? It never EVER registers my second command.For example. Having music playing then saying “Hey Sonos, Switch to TV Input” CHIME and it does it. Then while the light is still on, I say something like “Volume Thirty Percent” or “Set Volume To Thirty Percent” and after I’m done the light goes out and nothing happens. EVER.But if I say “Hey Sonos” for both commands? It has the audacity to tell me that I don’t need to say Hey Sonos each time……. 😒This has been like this since it launched. Over 3 years now. I believe sonos voice assistant hasn't been updated since 1.1 (Will be three whole years in Feb) Anyone Else?

I changed my email and logged in with my wife’s, for 10 days I listened to any South African radio station. A week back out of the blue I was unable to stream anything but uk stations excluding all other international radio stations. So please do not tell me it is not blocked by Sonos. I have 5 speakers on the Sonos 2 controller standing there like white elephants. Why can google stream foreign radio stations, and not sonos. We invested large sum of money in systems that are useless. Why are the international facilities available but not functional?I spent 4 hours on a live chat to US yesterday just to finally tell me I need to call UK they will look into it?

I cannot get the studio pair of era 300’s to work in conjunction of the existing theater system

Trying to play music from itunes on my pc through my Sonos Era 300.It would appear itunes is able to identify the speaker, but when selected there is no output.The Era 300 is labelled “Living Room” 

I have a Sonos 300 that works well with my PC.I have a Victrola Stream that used to work with the Era 300 but now doesn’t.The Victrola app finds and lists the Sonos speaker correctly but there is no output. 

I have a Sonos Boost I'm trying to connect. That connects to the S1 app on my phone just fine. But when I try to connect the sound bar, the woofer and these two side speakers, it just does not connect. I'm hitting play and the plus sign. So it flashes all the speakers flash orange, but the S1 app on my phone does not recognize the system. The S1 app on my Mac also does not recognize other systems. My Boost is recognized just fine. hi i hav also the same issue. and call support.no one in wil  take responsibility in sonos company.so sonos if the company have this forum.and nowbody will action. even CEO.then close sonos community.so Sonos what will you do about this.also the same issue.

Each time I turn on Sonos radio, or change stations, it plays for a minute or so, then jumps back about 20 seconds & repeats what's just played. Just once each time then plays normally.Anyone else had this issue? Any suggestions for a fix??I tried resetting both speakers (One & Roam). Haven't reset modem as I'd then have to set up all other 'smart' things.Thanks in advance!

Hi all, I recently got a new pair of Sonos Ace. I love the listening experience, however, I have received complaints about the sound quality of the mic when in calls.  Given the feedback, I decided to test record a voice memo, (iPhone 16 pro) with both the Sonos Ace and the AirPods Pro 2.  the results are in and they are drastic. The Sonos ace produces a Tin and thin like recording (both in Aware and NC mode) while the AirPods Pro 2 come in bassy and super clear.  My question: Is there a way to improve the mic quality of the Ace or is this headset specifically designed to hear sound only and has mic call as a secondary feature?   

I recently bought an Xgimi projector (optical and hmi e arc) and 120” screen to start improving my at-home movie experience , and now that the image quality is on point , I’m starting to work on a proper audio setup. The problem is that I know nothing about speakers and audio setups :) .Here’s the thing though : my apartment is an attic apartment , the slanted ceiling can be a challenge to work with and , as a result, I only had a single proper rectangular wall on which to install the screen . It also happens to be the wall with the sliding door to the bedroom right in the middle of it . Now that’s not a problem at all for the screen which unrolls right in front of it . But when it comes to sound installation , that makes it impossible to place a soundbar underneath the screen since it would be overlapping the door . I would have to place the soundbar to the side and 50cm off the ground , which doesn’t seem like a good idea (and would greatly limit furniture placement and be quite unsi

I’m getting the Couldn’t play Sonos Radio try again message. How do I fix it?

 I’m getting the error “the track is not encoded correctly” on Sonos S1 when trying to play DR’s radio channels via DR LYD. Both the app and firmware are fully updated, but the issue happens every time.It seems like a compatibility problem with DR’s current stream format on the S1 platform.I do not want to use TuneIn as a workaround, since I prefer using DR’s official stream.Does anyone know whether DR’s current stream is compatible with Sonos S1, or if there’s a proper fix

It always did but went flat whilst i was away and wont reconnect. I used the sonos all to reset the network and rebooted . It still will not show as connected.

I thought all the Apple Music playback issues are resolved since the meltdown. But apparently not. New install of Beam Gen2, when playing back from Apple Music playlist, every 4th song or so it will loose the connection be quiet for 10s and then reconnect and pickup the rest of the song or skip to the next one. Quiet annoying.Beam is connected to very good Enterprise WiFi network, and the TV it’s connected to has no network issues.Is this a latency issue, since I’m not US based? Maybe device trying to use US cloud back-end needlessly? Or something else that isn’t well engineered.Quit disappointed.

Hi does sonos replace or repair a woofer if its broken? Unit not been opened. Thanks
