Sonos Beam suddenly not connecting to tv

Hello, a couple days ago my Sonos Beam stopped outputting sound from my Hisense Roku TV. Nothing has changed as far as I’m aware, but the TV does not recognize it as an audio output source. The TV doesn’t detect it when I look for CEC devices, and the soundbar doesn’t detect that it is connected to a TV. The Beam is connected to my TV via eARC, I have tried three different HDMI cables with no results. I’ve factory reset both devices and tried everything else I can think of, nothing works. Please help! I don’t want to have to get a new tv or soundbar.

Factory reset, at least for the Sonos, probably hurt things more than it helped.

What I’d be tempted to do is check both the TV and the Sonos for updates, and apply them. Then I’d unplug both of them from the wall for at least two minutes. I’d plug in the TV first, wait another two minutes, then the Sonos. I’d be tempted to check the settings again to ensure the CEC is turned on on the Hisense (I have concerns about that brand, unfortunately). As a note, the CEC controller is in the TV, not the Sonos, it will be the TV that recognizes any CEC connected device like the Sonos. I’d be tempted to check in with Hisense’s CS as well, but ultimately, I’d probably call Sonos Support to discuss it.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
