i’ve seen this on an old topic which is now closed. Playing wxrt on audacy on my sonos (original play1 speakers) and it will start up plating and just stops after 5 minutes or so.  sometimes it will play all day if i leave it on but lately im lucky if the station plays 10 minutes. sometimes it comes back on but usually not. if i have the app open, it just shows  that the music is stopped and i can hit the play button to resume. but again it my stop again a few minutes later. it’s not my wifi. if i play the same station and app on my receiver with bluos, it plays fine and doesn’t disconnect. 

I have one speaker on one system. the other 2 are on another. I have one more speaker to connect and want all on one system I also had to change my wifi extender to one band instead of dual band. should I create a new wifi network for just the Sonos system?my goal is to make this all work seamlessly and have full use of the dual band extenders this is the message I get when I try to connect to the other 2 speakers  Moderator edit: Removed pictures with identifying information (serial numbers)

Hi all,I tried many time after updating to iOS 26 and wanted to connect with Sonos app to my Sonos play 1. But it does not work and even when I connect cable it works but once I take out the cable again it is gone and not working. Anyone know the issue ? Thanks 

I am totally fed up. I have thousands of dollars invested in this product and now on Thanksgiving day the entire system has disappeared. I opened the app and I get an error message saying it can’t find any products on the network so does this mean I have to set the entire thing up again? Honestly, I hate this product. It has been nothing but inconsistent and unstable sometimes it works perfectly sometimes it doesn’t . really Sonos get your act together. This is no way to treat loyal customers. Your products are buggy and don’t consistently work. I’m looking to bail out of your system as soon as I possibly can thank you for ruining my Thanksgiving

HiI have a play bar a sub a bridge a play3 and 5 play1 in various rooms.My problem is that often usually when we have a party , the system plays up like 1 speaker will drop off then 2 then the whole system will drop off then it comes back on its own then when we think it’s safe to start dancing again it will drop. The whole system is over 10 years old so I can only use S1 and the bridge firmware will not update. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I paid £19.99 for the Sonos 2 speaker controller during my Sonos 2 setup.  It came from Apples AppStore. Was that a con?

OK, first I know I’m an idiot for my request, so please don’t abuse me! Also had a search through the forum, but nothing matching my exact case came up.  A couple of years ago I bought a pair of Sonos One SLs for our kitchen. I didn’t get the usual One (with voice commands) as I didn’t like the idea of a voice assistant listening in all the time and streaming ads/content based on overheard discussions. Mad maybe. I don’t know.  Move forward a couple of years and I really miss not being able to shout at Alexa to play some music. I bugger about on my phone trying to get music to play when we have guests. As I said, an idiot.  I would like to integrate (seamlessly!) Alexa into my system. Some ideas: buy a new Era 100 and pair it with an existing One SL. Use the other SL elsewhere in the house.    Add a third speaker to the setup (Era 100?) and have 3 speakers. How would this work with the stereo pair I have set up?Use some sort of Amazon device (echo dot?) to add the functionality. How se

Noticed that when using tv audio swap the Dolby Atmos music is compressed greatly. Will there be an update to maybe like; uncompress it I guess

I have the followingPro-Ject Phono Box S3 B (Black) Pro-Ject Maia S3 (Black)I would like to link up with my Sonos Ace headphones.however when I tried using the 6.5 to 3.5 adapter they did not workplease advice on a compatible adapter or a 6.5 to usb-c cable 

If I turn off the noise control modes, it's like all the bass gets cut out of any music I'm listening to, and it sounds much, much worse.Is this standard behaviour? I'm wondering why I'm forced to use a Noise Control mode to get decent sounding music, even in a quiet environment.

Hey guys,I have 4 Sonos amps for 4 zones of our house.One particular zone - Kids gaming room - has a TV, 2 ceiling speakers. TV is connected via HDMI extender then Cat 6 cable, then comes to Sonos amp (connected with ceiling speakers) in our media device storage.  This set up is working very well. However, I have bought a Sonos Arc which I was hoping to add onto the current set up. I have tried connecting Sonos Arc via Sonos HDMI-optical adaptor to TV, to add Sonos Arc to this set up. However, I can only get sound from Sonos Arc rather than the entire set up. How could I add Sonos arc onto my current set up please?Thanks in advance for your help. 

I have just brough some Kef Meta Q11 speakers to add to my lounge where only music and audio is played.  There is not TV in the room.  I already have the Martin Logan sub and wanted to get opinions on this set up and what I can do to maximize the sound quality.  Many thanks.

Airplay wont work in era 100 from windows pc itunes, but airplay works from iphone and other airplay devices work from pc.

I recently added a Move 2 to my system. I also started using Apple Music. I have no problem starting to play music on the Move 2 using Apple Music: I start playing a song, then click the airplay button on the bottom. I see all of my Sonos speakers. I click the Move 2 button, and it starts playing. The problem is, after some random amount of time, it will stop playing on the speaker, and it seems to have disconnected. I have to go back and hit the airplay button again, and click Move 2 again to resume playing. This happens without fail after 10-20 minutes or so. I don’t seem to have this problem on my other Sonos speakers. I don’t THINK this happens when using Spotify, but I haven’t fully vetted that. I do not suspect a Wifi issue - my home has a professionally installed wifi system with full coverage throughout the home, extremely fast (1G service, generally get 600MBPS down in every room). Any suggestions? This is really frustrating. 

I like that the dialog is very easy to hear without having to turn on any dialog adjustments. The problem is I barely hear the left and right channel audio. Background music is barely audible. I’ve tried it with both Trueplay turned on and off and there isn’t much improvement. I know the left/right channels are working because I hear music. Anyone else have this problem?

Want to make use of two of my old Sonos Play:1 to connect to a Fire Stick. What are my options? I cant really use HDMI as the Firestick is in my projector which is ceiling mounted. Could perhaps use a line in and run a long 3.5mm or use a bluetooth adapter. But going to need something to interface with the Play:1’s as they have no line in.

can arc ultra be mounted to TV using same mount as arc first generation

HiIn my living room, I would like to connect my Arc Ultra to my Sub.But this sub is already used by a pair of Five.I have read here and there that it is not possible to share 1 sub with two different configs.But how is it possible? As long as both configs are not playing different sources at the same time, why is it not possible?I guess I am not the only one facing with this issue.And, sorry, but I do not intend to install a second sub in the same room…Thanks for your replies/support/ideas

After merging homes with my fiance and getting the system set up I am unable to add (2) S Play1’s she previously had.  I use the S1 controller app and currently have the following set up: Main Play 5Play 3Play 1 Would like to add the (2) Play1’s.  I keep getting a message they are not compatible with the S1 controller.  Is there a workaround? Cheers

When I pause for about 10 seconds and hit play again, It says it cannot play this content and either restarts the song or skips to the next song in the queue. Also the scrubbing bar gets out of sync with the music. It will be near the end of a song and the bar will still be in the middle. I am on the latest app version and all of my speakers are on the latest firmware version.

Hoi there,Have been using Arc Ultra + Sub 4 + 2x Era 300 aka Ultimate Immersive Set with Arc Ultra for over a year now and been quite happy with the system overall. Sure there has been SW glitches here and there, but no deal breakers, and the sound is great. But the issue I got , is that the Sonos Android app installed with my Samsung S8+ tablet forgets all the Arc Ultra’s settings (speaker lvls, Speed Enchantment, TruePlay) multiple times a week. Not a deal breaker, but it grows tedious after a while for sure. I was thinking that this might be due to  the schedule I’ve set the system to cut off power with a separate timer for night time, but got the same timer thing with my living room Sonos Beam+Sub Mini for years, and it has never lost its settings to date. Wondering if anybody else has experienced the same, and if there’s a fix for it? I am dead sure there was a question like this in the forumsalready , but could not find it just now. Thanks! 

Is there a plan to improve the volume control on app?

Hello Sonos Team and Community,I own multiple Sonos speakers (including One SL) and have been a loyal user for years. Recently, I can no longer play Radio Rock (Finland) on Sonos. Instead of the station, I only get “Welcome to TuneIn” and ads looping endlessly.Here’s what I’ve tried:Removed and re-added TuneIn (New) in the Sonos app Logged in with my TuneIn account and added Radio Rock as a favorite Rebooted speakers, reset network, cleared cache Tried Sonos desktop app and mobile app Verified that the station works in TuneIn’s own appNothing works. Previously, I could add a custom stream URL to Sonos and bypass TuneIn issues, but Sonos removed that feature in recent updates. This leaves me with no way to listen to a major Finnish radio station on a multi-thousand-euro system.This is unacceptable. Please:Fix TuneIn integration for Radio Rock and similar stations OR restore the ability to add custom radio stream URLs in the Sonos appMany users in Finland and other regions face the same

I have a large open plan house so I use the Zones feature to create 2 virtual speakers “Upstairs” and “Downstairs”. Each zone consists of a combination of Ones, One SLs and a Five. Ironically the Five in the kitchen needs a volume boost compared to the One that is also in it - currently the sound is biased towards the One. The Zones feature has a volume trim feature to compensate for this situation. The trim adjusts the volume from -15dB to +3dB on a per speaker basis. The Five does seem to respond but a 3dB boost is not quite enough. I need to dip the One by a few dB but the trim control has no discernible effect on any of my Ones. Anyone else noticed this before I submit a bug report?

The Alexa voice volume is way louder than the music level. Anyone aware of a fix. I’ve read other threads without a working solution and mention of Sonos looking at a fix 7 years ago!
