two sonos aces

I would like to have 2 sonos ace headphones connected to my system when my wife and I watch a movie,  whilst my daughter is studying in the other room. I would like to know if that is possible before I purchase a second ace. I have a simple set up with my arc ultra to my TV and sub. I believe this was not possible a year ago when I got the system. Has this changed? Thank you for any feedback.

Yes, this can be done. See this explanation for the TV Swap feature: https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/listen-to-your-tv-with-sonos-ace-tv-audio-swap Might indeed be a feature Sonos added later on.

“A maximum of two Sonos Ace headphones can be used together in a TV Audio Swap session.”

I'd like to thank everyone for their time and replying but I think I've given up. The 2nd ace just won't appear on my app, even though I can connect to it separately with my phone. I'll give sonos a try and hopefully they have some answers or solutions. Thank you again.

What did Sonos Support say, when you called in to discuss it?

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools and data at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system. Those of us in this forum don’t have access to that.

FWIW, i did manage to get 2 Aces to connect to my Arc and play at the same time, the trick was to turn off the first Ace and do the add on the second one, i’m using an iphone 17 (when it’s working it shows both aces connected over bluetooth). Head tracking is greyed out as expected but it IS working, hope this helps, this was a nightmare to find any documentation, sonos have done a really bad job on publishing this feature, but it DOES work
