Has anyone else noticed that the headphones sound bad when you turn off ANC? The EQ changes. I sometimes turn it off to make the battery last longer, but the sound eventually becomes unbearable.

Not here that I've noticed.
A factory reset - of the headphones only - followed by a reinstall and any available updates would be my first suggestion.
If it continues getting a diagnostic with ANC on, ANC off and a third within a couple minutes of the sound change and calling support would be second. Note the number on each diagnostic so Sonos properly identifies them. I'm not sure how much diagnostic data from the neadphones is sent but better to do in advance of the call rather having to call back if they are requested.
