I’m going a bit crazy trying to get this set up. I’ve got a turntable that runs through a Pro-Ject Tube Box S2 Amp to Kanto yu6 speakers. I’d like to set up so that I can either play purely through Sonos speakers via my Port, or through only the Kanto speakers. In order to do this I have a RCA splitter box that has one in, 2 out.
My current setup is Amp → Splitter → Kanto (Option 1) OR Port (Option 2). On option 1, the Kanto Speakers work great. On Option 2 the Sonos speakers LOOK like they should be playing, but there’s no sound. I’ve checked the line in settings (set to AV component, volume limit off). When the Port is selected as Line in for speakers, I get the bouncing EQ bars that make it look like its playing, but even turned way up there is zero sound.
I know the Port works because when I routed directly to the Port (no RCA splitter) the Sonos speakers worked just fine but in that setup I couldn’t get the Kanto speakers to work on their own.
I’m several hours and attempted solutions into this so staring to feel a bit crazy.
