Sonos Optical Audio Adaptor

Has anyone installed an older tv (2016 Sony Bravia XBR-65X930D) with the Arc ultra using a non-Sonos Optical Audio Adapter?  it is currently on backorder and inquiring to see if anyone has had any luck with successful installation?

Generic HDMI to Optical adapters are HDMI → Optical.  The Sonos adapter is optical → HDMI-ARC.  So unless you can find a generic that is configured like the Sonos (no one has found one yet) you will need to wait on the Sonos version.

Does the Arc Ultra not come with one? My Beam Gen 2 did.
