I’m getting the feeling I can’t add the Sub mini, because it won’t pair correctly with Gen3 sub? Is that correct?

Rang service support last week because having changed wifi routers and set up Sonos again, whole system disconnected. Went through various steps. Got it working again. Now it’s gone again just a week later.  had previously done various factory resets etc.  any ideas (a) how to reconnect a system of 6 speakers without doing resets on all? And (b) how to stop this happening repeatedly? diagnostics report number is 158033540 many thanks!

I have to run S1 to control my old Bridge and Connect: Amp.I want to add a Sonos Arc for my TV, which must run on S2.I tried to set this up on my phone but could not. What am I missing? Why didn’t they just make a remote for the Arc?  Maybe that too retro-old timey but it works and can be set up without a Sonos PhD.

Can you shuffle stations?

Hi all,After a short two and half year my Sonos one gen2 decided to quit its loyal service. As you can see in the picture below, resistor c285 fried itself. Do you think after replacing the resistor it wil work again? and what resister do i need to get?

Is the hdmi cable provided with the arc is getting the best possible performance for sound??

Hi,really annoying problem and I hope someone can help out… thanks in advance…I play music via an Alexa routine in my kitchen Play5 each morning some mornings I commute to London and want to listen to a podcast When I open my Spotify app (on the train) I see “kitchen” as the device and the current music playing there i want to leave that music playing but listen to a podcast on my phone how do I do that? if I select phone as the device then the music stops playing in the kitchen and plays on the phone. So my wife at home suddenly stops listening to music if I switch to the podcast first then that comes through the kitchen and when I switch devices to my phone I am fine but, again, no music in the kitchen i have a Spotify family account and Spotify on Sonos is using a different account to the one on my phone i never control Sonos from the Spotify app so happy to completely disconnect Sonos devices from the app on my phoneamy help to this really annoying feature much appreciated.

We’ve inherited a Playbase and two Play 5’s (first gen) to add to our two s-one and play 3 having not used them for a while moving house etc. we cannot get these to show as reset and able to set up, they say we need S1 app but that insists we need to move to S2 app, the base cannot be found even after holding infinity button in. Any ideas?

A podcast I have listened to on Stitcher via Sonos for some time has just moved to be on Spotify only. Now searching via Sonos app for this does not find the podcast. When I search in Spotify app, it is there and I can play on my iPhone but when I try to switch playback to Sonos device, get error message for all Sonos devices “can’t play this right now”. This seems to affect only podcasts rather than playlist or artist searches. Am I correct in assuming that Spotify podcasts can be played via Sonos ? This seems odd if true. Any ideas welcome. Thanks

I have two Play:5s with a Sub Gen 2 and I use them horizontal with Trueplay disabled. Would putting them vertical make any difference to how they sound vs when they are horizontal?

Hello there, need a little help finishing my setup. My setup includes:Sonos Beam gen2BenQ tk700sti eARC supported 4K projector I read a few articles online and follow the troubleshooting steps but nothing help.Running out of idea and would need some help. I went as simple as I could and ran an HDMI cable from the HDMI 2 slot of the projector to the Beam but the speaker won’t detect it for some reason ?

Pretty new to the surround world. Been a Sound Engineer for 25 years so I focused on getting the best stereo sound I could.Just ordered a new Beam Gen 2 and have a couple of older Play:1 speakers. I planned on just keeping the Play:1 as multi room speakers, but I’m curious about adding them as surrounds. If I add them as surrounds, does this affect the Atmos playback in the Beam? As in, does it then try to play all surround content as 5.0 or will it play the Atmos content through the Beam while adding some rear info into the surrounds?Or are the surrounds ignored when playing Atmos content?Having trouble finding this information. Thanks.

I often get my Apple Music App stop for no reason at every 7 or 8 songs BUT, it only does it only on my iPad and not on my iPhone. Both are on the same wifi, high speed optic fibre with Sonos Boost. Here is the diagnostic reference. 1876886745

Hey allJust after some advice. We have a Playbar set up with two Ones as surround sound. We have a new Five and will connect the record player to.Are we able to add the Five to the surround system or will this have to be a standalone speaker?

I have 5 sonos amps in my IT closet. I have 3 sonos subwoofers around my home, each designated to amps in the closet. They are all on my wifi (wifi coverage is great all over the home). The subs are too far from the amps to pair, will purchasing a boost and hardwiring it to the router fix this? On sonosnet does the sub still do ad-hoc to the amp itself or does it use sonosnet to pair to the amp?

I am a very happy and loyal sonos customer, (I am using a translator I hope you will understand my thoughts) surely there have been some requests in the past but I would like to ask the technical department 2 things .. 1) from the sonos app why don't you put a sound bar center channel equalizer?2) or create a free system in the sense that I use my play3 as left and right channel and arc only as center channel

Does Sonos integrate with Lovesac StealthTech?

Tonight I hit the “Party Mode”.  I will not get specific but there is a Sonos speaker all over the house.  Except in the pool.  Next to the pool yes. After saying hello to the neighbours and them something something, TURN IT DOWN!..  I decided to go to my headphones.  Exit Sonos app and back to…. another app.  I have read all the posts and the people saying that the app is a control centre, not sure for who, NASA or maybe SpaceX > “Starman Man”..  I just need to ask why?  If I have Sonos speakers I use your app.  If I had another companies speakers why would I open Sonos?  Why can I not just use the same app for all of my music?  My subscription is not with Sonos.  Your blocking of local playback does nothing for your brand.  It just makes me ask if I should look at Apple or Amazon.  Their sound is not as good of course but sometimes I just want to listed to music.  Yesterday via my Sonos speaker.  Today via my headphones.

Hi,When I start streaming music from Spotify and the speakers are idle, the speakers are always muted. The volume is the same as previous time, but muted. Then I have to open the app to unmute the speakers. Is there a solution? Thanks

Has anyone found a way of controlling the sound of a Playbase with the Magic Remote of an LG OLED G2 (2022)? In Device Connector (or rather “Universal Control Settings” as it’s now called), there is no Sonos available in the list of vendors, when setting up the Optical output...

Thought this was a feagure of s2.

Any ideas when I setup my Sonos Mini sub I have to use the code at the bottom of the Mini Sub.  The NFC ( Near Field Communication) fails to recognise my iPhone or iPad.  Thanks

HelloPocketCasts has stopped working through the S2 app. When trying to play a podcast it says unable to play selected item. And when trying to choose a podcast either no podcasts come up or it says unable to browse music. I have tried rebooting my router, reauthorising my PocketCasts account, removing the service and re-adding, but no luck. Thanks

Last night, there was a power outage at my house. When the power came back on, most of my Sonos products came back online. But not my Sonos Connect. After a factory reset, my Sonos app was able to see the Connect. But I still can’t get it back online. Is there a step I need to take? Do I need to hardwire the Connect to the router in order to bring the Connect back online? It’s stuck at this stage:
