Hi, I have arc, port, 2 one sl surrounds, gen 3 sw.  I also have the amp. Now have have a turntable with the musical fidelity m5si powering mh turnable sending to my Denton 85’s. Is is possible to connect the amp to the m5si so I can use the amp as a streamer for my iTunes?  If so how? This is the first priority without having to get a streamer. e.g. mx stream from musical fidelity.  The m5si has USB port.  Will sonons HDMI to m5si USB port work?  Of do I need to add a dac then Sonos amp to dac to m5si?My turnable and arc are in the same room.  I can stream over the arc setup but I prefer the dentons. I keep arc home theater for spatial audio in TV. Please let me know.

I have a large Sonos S2 installation (22 Amps, several beams, arc, etc).  I have an original Sub that was part of a room that has an Arc, and two Ones for LS and RS. It has worked flawlessly for a long time.  I recently bought a Sub Mini, and used it to replace the Sub.  I’ve been trying to connect the (original) Sub to a different room comprised of two Amps (one for the front speakers, and one for the surrounds).  I’ve gotten it to connect, but then it seems to disappear from the system.  (ie the room shows up as (LS+RS+?) in the System list and the Sub no longer shows up in “About my system”.   If I then power cycle the Sub, it still doesn’t show up. I’ve then done a factory reset on the Sub, and added it back to my system, but again it disappears after being connected to the room. I should perhaps add that It is hit or miss on adding the Sub to the room (I think what’s happening is it gets added, but immediately disappears). Everything appears to be running the latest and greatest s

Not all tracks in my PLEX music library appear when using the SONOS controller. It is like the SONOS app is stuck on an earlier (un-updated) version of library.  I have tried removing and re-adding PLEX with no result.  Some of the missing tracks have been initially drawn from TIDAL, but this does not appear to be a consistent explanation. The connection with the PLEX server can also be a very random affair, but that’s another story.

I have new lg 77, optical not working with playbar. So as ants me to buy new playbar with ARC.  Not what Best Buy told me when I bought. Looks like lg found a way to sell more ARC systems.  Disappointed in Sonos lg

How can I turn on the radio station via voice control? There are more stations with the same name.

Since updating the app I am no longer able to play Apple Music playlists through the Sonos App. Is anyone else having the same issue? I have removed Apple Music from the app and waited 10mins before reauthorising and still it’s not working. Is this an outage on Apple side or a problem with the recent Sonos app update? Thanks,

Hi , after waiting for what seemed ages for Sonos to fix the sub issue I was really happy after installing 14.18 as my Sub came back to life and the system sounded great again until today that is after running Trueplay and now it's back to where it was before and very frustrating as nothing I try fixes it , I ran Trueplay on an old ipad and it got me to update first which then said 14.18.1 but on my phone app its 14.18 .....has anyone got any ideas before I spend an hour on the phone to Sonos getting know where......

Our SL One was working perfectly until it showed up yesterday with a spanner symbol in the app and stated the speaker needed to be updated.  We went through all the options.  Unplugging.  Resetting the router.  Doing the update over and over.  With absolutely no joy.  I have just tried to set the speaker back to factory settings by switching off and holding the button at the back till the light flashes orange & white, but no green light and it has been in that state for about 15 mins.  When the update would not complete, we were receiving an error 1, but there is no such error specified on any of the forums. Any suggestions how we get this speaker back up and running in our system as it was on Wednesday night?

Just updated to 14.18 and now I see there is a dot under each room. I don't think it was there before. At least I don't remember. What does this mean?

Hi,A week ago I started to experience some strange behavior from Sonos volume control in the controller app. When I want to control the volume of one of the devices, occasionally that possibility is frozen/shaded and I cannot control the volume. If I increase or decrease the volume for the group, then the volume of the frozen device is also increased/decreased.I tried to remove the devices from the party mode and then connect them again, but then the volume of the Sonos device, to which I connect others, cannot be controlled (frozen/shaded).Anyone experience the same issue or had a same issue and managed to solve it? Willing to share the solution?I run the group of Sonos One (Gen 2) speakers and one Sonos Move.Thank you and best regards.

No doubt We all need some SEO changes to rank and some features of Spotify we can handle, but we need only to feature it on Spotify as well. How it reflects the changes???

We received our Roam last week and have had endless problems with it, which haven’t been solved by Sonos Customer Services.Initially, it wouldn’t connect to our existing Sonos system at all. Then when it did, the speaker didn’t work properly - it was really tinny with no bass, and when we tried to change the volume there was an awful scratching noise. We eventually managed to play music normally - but the it cuts out every 3-5 minutes!! On the Sonos app it still says music is playing, and the buttons on the Roam don’t work. This happens whether it’s on Bluetooth or wifi. Other problems include not being able to turn it off, and the buttons sporadically not working at all.We spent 45 minutes on hold to CS, and then 2.5 hours chatting with a very nice but ultimately unhelpful technician who remote-accessed our router settings and tried everything he could to get it working. This resulted in us having no internet…. because he changed our router to modem mode, which meant nothing else connec

Light on my Sonos boost has been flashing green for around three weeks as of now, I know that it means its reset and ready to be connected. This system has been installed and registered on the S2 application, factory reset once or twice as well. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

I have 2 Sonos connects in 2 diff rooms. Worked for years without problem. Lately though it seems only one sonos at a time is recognized by the app. When I search for missing products it sometimes adds the one missing but then loses the other one.  So it seems the app only recognizes one sonos at a time now ? Help !  I have tried all the troubleshooting suggested and nothing works.

Hi, I have my main router in my basement. I have a mesh system throughout the house as well. For some reason my Sonos devices pick and choose which router they want to connect to almost every day and very randomly. How can I stop this from happening?

Who knows exactly what the grey dots are under each named room that were not there before 14.18 update..so many people asking on fb and no one knows ..everyonejust throwing out guesses.

I have a surround set up in my living room (arc, sub 2x play 1) and ever since yesterday when I updated to 14.18, I’m having trouble with audio cutting out whilst watching on my Apple TV. It’s connected via LG C1 via eARC. Hasn’t happened before but I can replicate it on two YouTube short videos - it cuts out after 6-7 seconds (always at the same place) and then doesn’t return for the rest of the video. It’s not happening on my laptop/iPad etc so its certainly Sonos related. heres one of the videos:  Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.

Hi, I have 2 Sonos Play:5 (gen 1)I have tried resetting both today, the first worked as advised. The second system, which is exactly the same, will not reset despite following all advice found online. I have tried to hold down the mute button while plugging in the power cable and holding as worked for the other speaker but this does not appear to work. Please could you advise? thanks,Sam

Buonasera, qualcuno sa dirmi se è possibile utilizzare lo sconto aggiornamento per l'acquisto di prodotti ricondizionati.

I have the following 3 “rooms” in my house:Deck - Sonos Amp connected to two outdoor speakers (I can use Airplay to connect to the Deck) Living Room - Sonos Five (I can use Airplay to connect to the Sonos Five) Family Room - ~5 year old Sonos Playbar, two Sonos One SLs surrounds, and Sonos Sub.  This is the “home theater”. While the SLs are Airplay compatible, since the Playbar is NOT, and is the “main” speaker, unfortunately I cannot get Airplay in this room. Bonus “Room” - I have a Sonos Roam as well Besides replacing the Playbar with a Playbase or buying an additional Sonos Port, any “hack” I can use to get Airplay in the Family Room, but not lose the surround sound setup.  Thank you

I have a play:1 that runs all day, then when i press the play/pause button it will stop. Then if i press play a few ours later nothing happens, then i go to the app and when the button it press it comes up with “Unable to Connect” i then have to load up the app and press play through there.

Hi,since the last software update Sonos is not stopping anymore. If I press stop on iOS or Mac software, it pauses for a second but then reconnects and plays again. Same with hardware button.Experienced on Play:1, One, ROAM and Beam. And with Sirius XM or TuneIn Radio stream. Did not test with other speakers or streaming sources.Only way to fix it is mute volume or remove/ungroup speaker.

Hello everyone in this community.I have uploaded several flac ripped discs to my iBroadcast account but when I play them from the SONOS app, it always gives me the message ['Song Name' could not be played, the song was not encoded correctly]. On the other hand, if I play those same Flac files from the iBroadcast application or I upload them to the Plex server that I have on my local network, then they reproduce without any problem.Anybody knows about this, I have to solve it because I still have some old speakers without airplay and I have no choice but to use the SONOS application with these speakers.

Hello,Is it possible to use Google Assistant of Sonos One 2 gen in Portugal?

A few hours ago I updated to Version 14.18 via my iPhone XR; it took 2 tries. My system is a Boost, Office (2 Ones gen2), Move and TV (Beam gen 2 & 2 Ones gen 1 as surrounds). Everything showed as updated and seemed to work well.  A few hours later I wanted to use my wife’s iPhone 13 to control the TV and was prompted to update on her device.  That took 4 tries, but everything finally showed as 14.18.  An hour after that, opened my MacBook Air to check a photo album while watching TV (using the Beam and surrounds) and was prompted to update to 14.18 on my Mac.  So, my question is - does every device used to access the Sonos App ( 2 iPhones, a Mac and an iPad) need to be individually updated? I do not recollect going thru all these device by device updates previously.  Thx
