I am using a 27” iMac.  It’s a nearly 10 year old screen, but it has plenty of pixels. So it seems unreasonable that some of the text on the desktop controller is too small / indistinct to read, and can’t be enlarged.As I get older, use glasses etc, I can still read the song titles, but I find the artist names underneath are completely illegible. It doesn’t help that they are presented as grey on black. This is particularly annoying when listening to playlists.Could we get an option to increase text size? At the moment if I want to see who is playing I have to right click on Info and Options (where the text is still pretty small, but not tiny, and it’s a lighter colour text so clearer.I’ve been using Sonos since it first came out. I’ve added two rear play 1s to my Arc and I’m now receiving 5.1 digital plus on films that I was receiving an atmos signal on. Is this normal? Any help/advice appreciated, thanks 

We have a Sonos One and a Sonos SL paired in stereo, these are controlled with commands  by an Amazon Echo Dot. This set up has been working perfectly for a long time now, but the other day it started to play up, on asking Alexa to play for example Radio 2, it would only play it on the Echo dot and not the Sonos. Nothing had been changed in the set up, we unplugged the Sonos speakers and echo dot rebooting them a few times, that didn’t work. I didn’t set the system up, we got someone in to do it, but hes no longer available. We switched them on this morning and they are sort of working again, but before when we gave the echo dot an instruction the reply always came via the Sonos speakers, it now comes from the eco dot and not the speakers, ie... Alexa play radio 4, echo dot replys playing BBC  Radio 4, and the station comes through on Sonos speakers about 6ish seconds later. Have problems with play bar audio when watching tv. Have changed the optical cable, and rechecked connections. When watching tv, audio input is from tv to playbar via optical cable. the audio will start to skip at random times. If I flip the playbar around or set it down with a little force the sound becomes clear. Like a loose connection inside the play bar. Sometimes the skipping will start when changing inputs on the tv ( like Netflix back to cable) It’s not the optical cable as u can unplug and plug back in but the audio still skips  I can always get it to clear up after fumbling with the playbar  FYI when the audio starts skipping I can switch the tv speakers back on and the sound via the tv speakers is clear. The audio from the sound bar is still skippyany ideas?  Can it be repaired?

Hi there, I recently purchased a Beam Gen 2 which I use to listen to the TV and music streaming apps, I do not have a sub or surrounds. I use a Foxtel iQ4 box which connects to the TV via an HDMI cable and can transmit Dolby 5.1, 2.0 or PCM which I then port directly to the Beam through the HDMI-ARC output port on my Sony TV. I use the TV’s “Pass through” mode which does no decoding of the audio signal, otherwise I get lip synch issues with the audio (the sound is delayed). I have the ability to output compressed audio from the TV to the Beam without modification, or convert it to PCM if I choose.I have noticed that when watching the TV in Dolby Digital 5.1 or 2.0 mode, some lower frequencies that are especially associated with male voices are significantly distorted even at low volumes. This is repeatable and removable by changing the output to PCM audio (but then the sound quality is noticeably inferior). I am using Sonos 1 app with my older Ones.  I can’t seem to update the speaker. App is updated.   I can’t seem to get past the update app request.  I have rebooted speaker, removed and added app, rebooted router. Any help is appreciated!  thx 🙏🏼   

SiriusXM Canada went offline completely a while ago today. App, web streaming and sonos. SiriusXM app and web streaming came back but Sonos app “unable to connect “ now.  D#1955638191

i have 3 amps set up on my system and lately the music shuts off and comes back every once in a while and sometimes it keeps playing in one area but not others and vice versa, wondering what the issue could be, seems to only be when I am using Spotify, everything is up to date and my internet is good thru out the house

Has anyone else who uses the audioClip API noticed that since 14.12 it doesn’t work properly - I’m seeing the requests get posted, but they fail to play over the targeted speaker?

My system consists of the following:Sonos Boost connected via ethernet to my main router Sonos Arc w/ Sub (Both showing as WM0 in Sonos app) Sonos Port (WM0) Connect: AMP Gen2 (WM0) Playbar (WM0) Sonos Move (WM1) Sonos5 (WM0)All of this is connected to my Netgear Orbi 850 mesh system, with the boost connected via ethernet to the main router, and I have two satellite routers. All this seems normal to me, but when you go into my Netgear app, the Sonos5 shows as being on Wifi via 5ghz, while the rest of the system shows as being wired.I have factory reset the Sonos5, but it still shows up as being on the wifi.Why the conflicting info here? Why does the Sonos App show my Sonos5 being connected via SonosNet, but my router shows it being connected via the Wifi?

So I have an arc, sub and 2 ones. I did the latest update and trueplay has vanished altogether, not even greyed out.I dont own any apple products and had to borrow one when I got the system to initially do TruePlay. Am I going to have to borrow another Apple product again or is there a fix coming?

XM seems to be down again with you guys - works via streaming and my account is fine, but it won’t work via Sonos.

I am in the process of acquiring a Port.  I have a Rotel RA-930AX amp.  I am wondering if, with turtable and cd player connected to the amp through appropriate inputs, you can connect port output to tape in and port inputs to tape out and thereby be able to plau the turntable and the cd player to other sonos speakers.  I understand that they would be out of sync with the speakers connected to the rotel but I don’t need to play through all peaskers simultaneously. In other words, if what I am asking works the syning is not an issue. 

I want to use both a CD player and turntable with the Sonos Amp - what’s the best way of doing this? Thanks 

I have just bought a Roam (not realising initially it required S2). I have an S1 system with a mixture of S1 and S2 compatible products. I want to leave that as it is and set up a separate S2 system with just the Roam. Is there a simple way of doing this?

My existing setup is a Sonos Amp, a Sonos Sub and a pair of conventional ceiling speakers wired to produce stereo audio (obviously).  I then bought a Sonos One SL to add to the same room to “widen” the audio image.However, when adding it to the system it did not offer me the option of adding it to the existing room.  So, I just created a new variation of the room name.But now when I play audio I get 2 volume controls on the app (one for what was the original setup) and one for the new speaker.  This means I have to adjust one of those volume sliders each time I begin playing from my music library. How can I set them up to be in the same room with just one volume control and, I assume some balance slider that I can set once and then leave?Thanks in advance.

I purchased my 1st Sonos product today (play 1) and have it set up except I can’t get my iTunes account added to the Music Library.  It is asking for my “computer name” and I only use my iPhone because my laptop is outdated.  Is this possible to set up this way?  And If I have to use my laptop, how do I find the computer name? Thanks in advance for any help!  I am not very computer savvy!

I’ve had a new Panasonic TV for two weeks. Connected to Arc via eARC using certified HDMI cables. The Sonos room comprises the Arc, wired to router, a Sub (wireless) and two wireless play 1s. There is an annoying issue where the audio drops on the Arc for about five to ten seconds intermittently. It happens once per day, though for the first time it happened twice yesterday, within 30 mins of each other. This is mostly when watching live TV. As it is only once per day, it is quite hard to replicate and test on orther sources (apps on TV, NVidia etc.).This issue did not happen on the replaced TV; one of the reasons for the new TV was to utilise eARC.Any ideas? If a Sonos tech is available, the diag is 808361536.

Will Sonos net still be using 2,4 after this new firmware with 5 GHz support? And how to select channel?

I recently moved to a new home where the previous owner had one Sonos Connect and 2 independent amps to run music to 4 rooms: living room, kitchen, family room & master bedroom. I am currently using the Connect to direct music to the kitchen ceiling speakers.I own 2 Play 1 and a Play 5.Question- what is the most economical way to expand my use of this equipment short of just forgetting the ceiling speaker installs. Do I need to buy 4 Connects or Sonos Amps? Segregation of the music source is limited by those 2 independent amps which have an A/B System capability. Thanks Gerry 

Hi everyoneMy iPad app and all my Sonos devices were automatically updated to 14.12. And then, I cannot see my Roam any more…My iPhone app was still on  14.10, and the Roam was still visible (that is how I checked the Roam firmware version). When I upgraded the iPhone app to 14.12, the Roam vanished. I asked to the app to discover new products, but nothing happened. The Roam is still visible, and working,  through Airplay.Does anyone has the same situation ?

I get an an error 1002 (An error occurred while adding tracks to the queue).I read on another thread that it might have to do with some limitation from Apple, which would only work with playlsit of 1000 tracks and less… but I can’t (or don’t want to) believe that explanation. 1000 tracks is not that much!!Anybody here found a solution for this problem? Thanks a lot.
