Dear Sonos, I have just spent an entire day downgrading all my speakers back to the S1 App because one of my son’s friends attempted to play music with the S2 App. How can you allow someone to upgrade my entire system WITHOUT my permission and render it completely 🤬 useless??!!!!!

When will boomplay be included in Sonos?

Hi, I have two play 1 speakers I use in stereo and use Spotify. However I have came across tidal hifi service and have used this recently. I paying for hifi which I believe is cd quality. I use the tidal app directly to play onto Sonos. Will my old speakers support cd quality? Thanks

Please enable Google casting - in particular for YTmusic. The Sonos app is not good enough for this - most features from the YTmusic-app are missing.

Hi,I have set up my Sonos Arc and set up ran smoothly, however when I switch TV or Music off, the Sonos Ark disappear of the app and I need to reboot the ARC to be visible on the APP again, if TV or music is on it seems fine only when we switch TV off and switch on later does it disappear. Please advise if someone has similar problem and how to resolve. Thank you

I had this happen to me - others have complained about the same thing. I do not have Spotify so it is definitely a Sonos issue. It was very annoying that it started playing randomly at night, when my laptop was totally closed.

I am renovating my forever home and will have one room for the kitchen, dining area and living room. It is 20 x 28 feet inside. The end with the kitchen cabinets, a large island and the dining table is not a good place for the regular speakers with no good place to set them. I had hoped to install a couple ceiling speakers using an Amp to power them. I would also like to use a couple ceiling speakers in the living room (the opposite half of the space) and would like to power them all with one Amp. Is it possible to both adjust the volume of these two sets of speakers separately, as well as adjust the balance on each set?If there is any way possible to do this please let me know. If there is an alternate way to set them up still allowing the use of the S2 app to control them, it would be ideal. I am wondering if I could use something separate to achieve what I am trying to do as well.Trying to not buy two Amps to achieve this. I would otherwise likely use one Amp in the kitchen/dining e

I’m looking for some advice.  I have a turntable connecting (line-in) to a Sonos Five.  Now I want to add other speakers (Beam, Symfonisk) to the room. However, I don’t see any options in the app to add any further speakers.  Is there a trick to adding my other speakers?

Lately I’ve been having issues when I use AirPlay2 on my Move with Play1’s. I have my paired Play1’s in the garage and when I bring Move to the garage to play alongside my Play1’s they play together fine until I sync AirPlay2 to the Move. Music will play on Move/Play1’s for a little while and then the Move will drop out or the Play1’s will drop out for 10+seconds and come back on or both will drop out. Sometimes one or the other will drop indefinitely. I have to go through my Sonos2 app to retry connecting AirPlay2 back to Move. I’ve tried changing my Boost setting 1/6/11 and still does the same thing. This gets annoying so I’ll go back to playing Spotify or music library. I haven’t done a diagnostic check yet. Thanks.

Like many other users it seems that when I choose to shuffle my large Amazon Music playlist I get a tiny percentage of tedious that state with numerals, a, or b.  I've seen responses that say to add your track to individual playlist, and then merge those playlists into one large playlist, but that is a horrible solution. You have to choose each track individually. I have thousands upon thousands of tracks in my library and that would take hours in the process would have to be repeated every time you add more music to your Amazon library. Is there a real solution forthcoming for this issue? It doesn't seem to be just Amazon music, every provider seems to be prevented from shuffling, the playlist and a reasonable way.I've yet to see a comment from Sonos that explains how they're going to resolve this issue and when. Is there any help out there?Thanks,-Shannon

Hello, My Sonos Connect lost all of a sudden its sound, and only when I turn the Connect & the speaker both to max can I hear a very silent sound. I tried unplugging, rebooting, reseting the system, changing cables, different speakers - the problem remained. What can be the issue? Shall I just say goodbye to the item? :'( Thanks, Bence

I recently purchased a Sonos Ray soundbar and when i am in my conservatory where I have a Sonos 1 when i look at the app it always goes to the soundbar and on most occasions does not see the Sonos 1 until i use my phone to access the app - any suggestions?

My playlist are all grey out. Tried everything to get them back , ideas please.

Had my Mini Sub for 10 days. Trying to get the best position. The room where it is located is tiled. I had the sub on the floor.Read this article …..https://hometheateracademy.com/subwoofers-floor-shelf/Move the Mini Sub off the floor and it seems much better overall sound.  Thoughts?

I was wondering if some one could help me make the right choice to upgrade my setup My current setup is aLG C1 TV In the same room I have 4 speakers in the ceiling connected to Sonos amp for music.I sometimes connect TV to Sonos amp with hdmi to get sound from ceiling speakers instead of TV.I usually watch movies or play PS5 I was considering one of the following upgrades for this roomOption 1. Sub miniOption 2. Beam 2Options 3. Sub mini and beam 2 Please can you explain in each of these options how and if they can integrate with my Sonos amp system to have sound come out of all speakers? Could I use the beam 2 and amp at the same time? Or does have the beam 2 negate the need?

New to some of the newer Sonos products, and couldn’t find the answer anywhere.  I have an Arc, Sub (gen3), and Amp running two third party ceiling speakers.  My question is can I add two Ones as rear speakers and connect them all to the same TV arc source and it works with Dolby Atmos?  Arc, Sub, ceiling speakers, and rear Ones?  Thanks!

My Sony tv has eARC and I have the Netflix premium ultravHD . Watching a series that showed in Netflix description as Atmos was showing only Dolby Digital plus 5.1 on the Sonos app. So I put on different movies that has the description of atmos as it’s content. Some displayed Atmos on the Sonos app, some didn’t. Example..6 Underground showed Atmos where Barbarians ll showed the 5.1.. any idea why it would be different?

I have a Samsung 80 something inch led TV with a Samsung smart voice remote. Do not have eArc connection on TV. Have used optical adapter and can only control Sonos arc foul e by voice and Sonos app. Cannot get my Samsung one remote to control the Sonos volume. Have gone through Sonos tutorial and still will not control Arc volume e control.  Help!!!! This is driving me nuts.

Playing music, everything is fine, music suddenly stops, can’t connect. This happens about 3 times a month. There is nothing wrong with my wifi, speakers are all plugged in ok. The only way I can get things back is to dump my music and reload it. I have 20,000 songs so it takes forever. This is beyond annoying. If I had known I would have this much trouble I would have never bought $2000 worth of speakers.

My house had existing Sonos in ceiling passive speakers. All connected to a Sonos Connect in the den.  I replaced the Connect with a Sonos port and used an existing amp/receiver. Sonos speaker left/right connected to the amp, line in to the amp from the Port. When I play Pandora thru the Sonos 2 app I get no sound at all.  I’m stumped. I was careful to mark left/right speaker cables hot & ground before connecting them to the amp. I did use crimp connectors to extend the length for connecting to the amp.  Seemed pretty straight forward but I’ve got nothing.  Thanks for your input/advice.

Hi Everyone. Looking for some advice. I have 2 Sonos ceiling speakers connected to an amp, and a sub and looking for some soundbar advice. You’re probably wondering why I have the ceiling speakers prior to a soundbar. It was because the house is new and we wanted them signed off as part of building regs with fire hoods etc. Now it seems the key selling feature of the ARC is Dolby Atmos with up firing speakers. As I have ceiling speakers is there any need to go for the ARC (have I got Dolby Arnos covered??), or shall I go for the Beam, noting the cost difference. We sit about 5m from our normal family living room Tv. Does an ARC, Sub 3, ceiling speakers and amp seem overkill for watching Transformers on repeat? Or am I not doing the Sonos products I already have justice by not going for the ARC? thank you!!

Hi, i have a sub mini and two one-sl’s that i use with trueplay only for music. I was happy as a cucumber with the sub mini’s rumble until last night’s 14.18 update...after the update finished i could barely hear it, as if it was anemic...i made a new trueplay, i did 3 power cycles, still nothing, i did another trueplay...same. Before if i turned up the music to 50-60% the sub would rumble beautifully and my grin was up to my ears...now it only somewhat rumbles if i turn off trueplay, but when i turn trueplay back on it sound as if i dont have a woofer in my system 😭, even if i turn the sub on and off in the app i only hear a very small difference with the sub on 😪 I could easily say that it sound’s better without the woffer and only with the two one sl’s with the bass turned up. I have to mention that i had every EQ in the middle and the sub at 0 and it sounded PERFECT...now it sounds SAD.I will try a factory reset tonight when i get home, and i reaaly hope that it comes to its sens

I guess I’ll treat my system as if I have an Android phone. I used to able to tune it but not anymore. Nothing has changed but it stops and tells to reduce noise. It’s as quit as I can get it so screw it!

Hello,do anyone noticed a total loss in the power of the sound for the Sub since 14.18 update ? i have 2 play 5 gen 2 and 1 sub and since, sub is no more existing its very frustating.

Hi,I have gone through the previous messages. This topic seems to have got CLOSED by the moderator with out being addressed. We have ALEXA already doing well in the UAE. It is time that Sonos brings it out. We are all disappointed as we are not able to make good use of alexa and sonos combination. The purpose of upgreading the systems is going in vain.i have been writing to sonos care in twitter also. but no reply. I hope that may be now this issue will get duly addressed and resolved.Sonos voice control is of not much use for us! Thanks Br, Jawahar
