Hello,I am would like to install 2 front in wall speakers and 2 rear ceiling speakers using an amp for each with a Samsung frame TV.  I don’t want to use a sound bar because I would like to keep the clean look of the Frame TV. I know very little about setting up a sound system and would just like good basic surround sound. Would this be an effective basic set-up and would it work with a new Samsung Frame TV? Thanks

HI, I am looking to move soon and was going to upgrade my main sonos system in a new audio room to Arc, Sub with 2no rear sonos speakers (ones?) i also love vinyl and would love to know how i can play analogue through this proposed system, currently the turntable plays through a pre amp, then into Yamaha receiver and the Bose wired acoustimass system, sounds great but wanted to go wireless…… any help would be gratefully received, cheers and thanks

Dear, I try to contact the customer support without any ansmwer since several month.I had a good opinion about the sonos but now I’m ready to says that the customer support be a casper!I really disappointed because since I use the windows application to control my sonos I have problems… Appication don’t fucntion properly. I reinstall many times without success to increase the start of the application…Now, since the last windows update the application doeasn’t work anymore even if I reinstall the application. I have a message: dcomp.dll error!!!If someone have a solution. Every idea of someone will be best than sonos customer services.Thank you in advance

Have a hard of hearing client. A Sonos Beam is used as the main audio source with a TV, where the Sonos One Gen 2 units are sued are rear surrounds. Question is, can the Sonos One Gen 2 units be programmed in a way where they aren’t in surround mode? Where they just double the front facing audio that the Beam is producing instead?Main reason I ask is, this retired client watches a lot of cable channels for TV content. Where much of the mixes on TV stations, aren’t mixed with Dolby 5.1. Where they are often times only stereo mixes. So the Sonos One units basically do nothing when viewing those programs on that platform/medium. He doesn’t really use Netflix & Amazon Prime & Hulu & all the streaming services that are all predominantly dolby 5.1 surround sound. He mostly watches news stations & PBS & NPR, driven off of a Comcast cable box, & all those stations really only do stereo L+R mixes. I didn’t see anything in the Sonos app, that would allow me to do what I a

I have a large Family Room surround system comprised of an Arc, Sub (gen 3) and pair of SL Play1 rear speakers that have been operational for about 1 year now.  .SL1’s are about 2 years old, acquired new from Best Buy, the other components purchased directly from Sonos.For no apparent reason, one of the SL Play 1’s has just died.  That took the rear pair of speakers out of the network but the central issue is what fricking happened to make it die?  No evidence of power surge or physical abuse - it sits on a stand that locks speaker in place.  I have unplugged and re-plugged into a different power outlet, nothing.  I swapped out the power cords between the 2 SLs and re-plugged, nothing.  It’s as if something just went kaput inside the speaker.I know the obvious solution is to buy a replacement - but does anyone have any tricks to try before I do that?

Hi people. Will a sonos ikea lamp bought in canada work in Ireland.  I know all the other speakers are 120/240v 50/60hz but not sure if the lamps are the same. 

When i try to configure my brand new sonos roam sl with sonos s2 the app on xiaomi 11t pro, crashes or just wont connect to the device, how i can use my brand new 170€ speaker ?have a solution ?(i cant try with another phone)

Woke up. Opened Sonos app. Attempted to stream my favorite program. App shows problem with system. Opened system program. It says bedroom speakers need to update. Tried to complete update - fails at the final step. Says try again. Made several tries. Still won’t update. Tried rebooting the two Play 5’s and the S2 sub. Still won’t update. Attempted to update one Play 5 with the other speakers unplugged. Update still won’t complete. System won’t let me unpair the Play 5’s or unpair the sub. Tried connecting left Play 5 to ethernet but system won’t let me disconnect from WiFi. What can be done to fix this problem?

Guys I have the following routine running with my Sonos One pair(I have two Sonos One namely Sonos One Left, Sonos One Right)When I say the voice command the routine does the following: Set volume to 1: Works Perfect Says a phrase: Works Perfect Turns Off the Master Bedroom Light - Works Perfect Starts playing music for 15 min on Spotify - Works Perfect Issue the Alexa Stop Music command to stop playing the music - Works Randomly. When it is not working, the music keeps playing after the 15 minutes until the playlist is finished. This has been driving me crazy for a while now. I have changed step 5 in stopping the music but again it worked randomly. It is like for a reason step 5 is missed or not executed at all.

Hi, we have two ipads controlling newer sonos products - the ipads are not new but are purely used for Sonos. Yesterday both of them came up with the message “The OS on this mobile device is no longer supported”The sonos app can no longer recieve updated. To fix this, update the Os on the mobile device or use a device with a newer OS. Do we have to replace two perfectly fine Ipads to continue using the Sonos app? They are fully up to date (OS 12.9.5 i believe). As mentioned they are purely for the sonos across two of our  wedding venues (new SONOS products that are expensive). To get rid of two perfectly fine ipads seems very un eco and not right. Is there a way around this?

Hi, folks. I have a few Sonos devices and have overall been very happy with the system. But I do find one bug/limitation extremely annoying. It seems like if you have “too many” files in a local music library, Sonos just can’t cope with it, and shows “No selections are available” any time you try to use it. You have to delete some files to make your library usable again.I don’t use streaming services. I only play my own music, that I own. It’s pretty ridiculous that I have to delete parts of my library or move them to places where Sonos can’t see them (and so I can’t play them on Sonos!), just because Sonos can’t write proper database code or something. I've seen discussions of this problem before, for years, and always assumed this would get fixed with a regular update because it’s such a ridiculous limitation. But I’m starting to lose patience (and would like to be able to buy more music!)My library isn’t even *that* huge, anyway. I’m sure some folks have more music than me. I seem t

Hi,I have a multimedia room using Sonos play:1, play: 5 gen 2, Roam and the sub. The problem is that my play:5 doesn't work anymore with the Wi-Fi. It only plays if I connect it with the ethernet cable. I reset it and tried to add it back to the multimedia room, but it didn't work…The ethernet cable is downstairs....and I bought Sonos because I wanted a wireless network!!Any solutions??? Thank you!

The device where the music files are stored maynot be powered on, or the path may have changed.Go to Settings > System > Music Library > Music Library Setup tocheck the pathI know the path is perfectly fine as I can browse the files via my computer and the files play if I select them via Apple Music. I have rebooted my router, Sonos Controller is up to date, I’ve turned file sharing off and on again, deleted the music library from the settings and added it again, number of tracks <15k.So I have tried all I can think of with no success. 

Hello, I got huge problem with pair my Ikea Symfonisk to my Beam 2. I already tried to restart my router and both Sonos devices but nothing changes. From Beam options I can use option to add new device but somehow nothing shows here as avaiable option to pair. Both devices are under one wifi network. Any clue how i can fix this ? Oh and i got only one Symfonisk gen 2 right now but I assumed that this would not be a problem ? Also when i connected one speeker and adding second one to the same room then somehow Sonos app create second room (same name with added number) instead of just add speaker to existing room.My diagnossis number 499631236 

Hello, I recently bought a Ray bar and I’m using it mainly to listen to music.  During summer nights, we set up in our garden a projector to watch old movies. I plug an Apple TV 4k to it and until now I used an old set of wired speakers for the sound.  Can I replace the speakers with the Ray? Will I be able to use Airplay for the movie sound? The only HDMI port is used to connect the AppleTV to the projector.  Thanks for the assistance!!
