This is a very large Sonos playlist of tracks on my NAS that I can’t seem to play any longer. It played fine for weeks before. Here are the steps I’ve tried:restarted router (twice) unplugged all Sonos components and restarted from scratch delete the NAS as a music source and re-added it smaller playlists still play fine

Please let me know how to “Accept” terms and conditions as button is greyed out so will not work.

Apologies for asking a question on which there are other posts, however I am still hitting a brick wall:Synology DS418 NAS running DSM 7.1 42661 Update 3; music in a folder name “music”; under File Services - SMBv1 set as minimum with SMBv3 as maximum; NTLMv1 enabledUsing Sonos S1 (as older hardware on my system)Enabling NTLMv1 has got me passed the login/password not accepted hurdle.Now I am stuck with the ‘Unable to add folder to music library (900)’.  I think this tells me that at least Sonos has been able to address the NAS shared folder.  I have tried setting up the music library using iPad App; Mac App and Android App.  I have also tried using the IP address to no avail.  Internal Firewall is off.  I have also tried various Diskstation login accounts.Lastly I have tried alternative upper case and lower case spellings of DiskStation, Diskstation, Music, music.  Didnt make any differenceAny help much appreciated

When enjoying a song in a playlist, you used to be able to click on the down arrow and see the related album a track came from and then start playing that. This option has been removed in the latest update. WHY?! Seems a mad removal. 👇 

My new Sonos 5 connected to my turntable will not  group play with my upstairs Symfonisk stereo pair lamps.  Funny thing, is if I “remove stereo pair” from my “Main Room” group, the audio will start playing, but only from 1 speaker/lamp.   It will then kick the other speaker to a separate room without me even doing it.   This last time around it created its own room “Bathroom”.   Wtf??? I’ve group played my line-in turntable with my 5 and my Living Room arc+2subs+2 oneSL surrounds.  Group play works with every imaginable combination except Line-in and symfonisk.   Any help would be greatly appreciated. My network is 1200mbps with Wi-Fi 6 mesh Further testing:  If I remove stereo pair and then add stereo pair again, it works!   But only for this session.  And every time I trueplay tune the stereo symfonisks, line in group play stops working again! Extremely annoying. 

Hello,I have being years and there is no update on new languages from Sonos on the Sonos Arc. I really do not understand why. Portuguese is native in Alexa. If you ask Alexa in Sonos Arc if she speaks Portuguese she answer yes and it is only a matter of configuration. But the app of Alexa does no give language to be configured for sonos and in the sonos app there is no Portuguese.What is happening. I love my sound bar but Im thinking to change as I need to have an alexa speaker in the same room just because of this issue. Please do not answer me showing the language status page, because I look that and nothing changes in the last 3 years. I want to know if there is any real intention to have Portuguese open as an Alexa language? If not, why? What is the position from Sonos about new languages.hope you guys can help me understand what is happening. I´m to buy a sub and some other things, but I will not do if I don´t know what is the future for those functionalities.

I have a Beam Gen 2 (and a pair of Symfonisks for surround), Nvidia Shield TV Pro and a Sony (XBR 65A8G). The setup is the Shield via HDMI to the TV, and the TV (arc) via HDMI to the Beam. In this configuration things work most of the time, but occasionally, the Beam gets into a state where it seems to get ‘stuck’ and outputs a noise that sounds like “dut-dut-dut-dut-dut” (rapidly and continuously) for about 20 seconds, and then it crashes/reboots (no longer controllable via the Sonos app, and the TV notices the absence and switches to its own speaker) and a few seconds later, it is back up (and controllable in the app, and the TV recognizes it is back).  This happens randomly - usually when it happens it happens a few times in a row, but then won’t happen again for several days. It isn’t the content, as I can ‘rewind’ and replay whatever was happening when the crash occurred and it works no problem.I’ve tried different HDMI cables - problem persists.I’ve tried adding a splitter (HDFur

Hi allHoping for a bit of advice.  Looking to switch to a soundbar from my current poor performing Sony.I am looking at the beam and wondering whether the refurbished gen 1 (£270) will do the job, or if its worth paying the extra £100 for the gen 2?Tv is a 55" LG OLED C1.  I will be using two play:1s as surrounds.  Will be mainly watching freeview or IPTV, with a bit of netflix/prime thrown in.  Does anyone have a similar setup and would they recommend?Been doing a bit of research and it appears that Dolby Atmos doesn't add a lot, so wondering whether it's worth paying the extra for the gen 2?Thanks for your timeSteven

On following steps for factory reset as given on sosnos portal, the led on beam flashes white and orange , but never turns green indicating it's ready to be setup.When tried in same state, to connect through Sonos app, it fails to register Beam.My Bram was running on Sonos S2 before the factory reset. Any insights on resolving issue would be very helpful

Hi everyone,I am having an issue with my Sonos Beam (gen 1) losing connection with my BT HomeHub.I resolve the issue by unplugging the Beam and plugging it back in, but usually 2-3 days later it will lose connection again. I notice this as Alexa will not respond and then I go into the Sonos app to see that it has disconnected again.I contacted Sonos a couple of weeks ago and we went through a full troubleshoot which included going into the BT HomeHub settings and changing the wireless to mode 2  - which resolved the issue… but again, only for a couple of days.I have also unregistered the Beam from my account (including a factory reset), reset the HomeHub numerous times and everything suggested in the troubleshoot pages with no luck (only resolving the issue for a couple of days at a time at most)Does anyone out there have any further suggestions? There is not a problem with my Hub and the signal is not the issue, but something appears to be going on.I would rather not have to connect v

Hello.I have several Play 1 units, an Amp and a Connect (all S1) working great on a new Nest (Google) Mesh network.  All units show in my System as WM = 1 so all wirelessly connected directly to the mesh and with full app control.  No issues.However, I have two Play 1s that I want to reconnect to my system that have been switched off and not used for around six months.  These two units will not connect.  I’ve tried all sorts so far starting with trying to set them up in the app via both adding a new unit and adding a missing product with no success.  I’ve factory reset them to a green light and still no joy with getting them connected.The app takes me so far in setting them up and then complains that it can no longer connect to the unit putting me back to  square 1 each time.  I’m trying each one individually (not both at the same time).  If I plug in the errant units and leave them for a minute or so they show a solid white light but are not visible in the app.Any ideas? 

Can’t figure out how to set up my sonos amp to crown xls 1002 to jbl sub. My sonos is connected to klipsch speakers and sounds good just need The jbl speaker hooked up. 

I have a pair of Sonos Play:1 speakers. My setup is a stereo pair that I launch through Alexa.Recently this stopped working. I have gone directly to the Sonos app on iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows, but attempts to add songs, albums, or playlists from Spotify, Pandora, or YouTube Music all result in some form of “Unable to add to queue”. I am able to replace the queue.I have factory reset the devices, connected them to a fresh Sonos account, removed the services and added them back - basically everything I could think of to clear the cruft.Along the way, I found that it works much better if they are not paired. I placed them in separate “rooms”. Essentially they are set up as 2 mono speakers in the same physical space. This allows the queue to work more or less as expected.The issue is producible. Breaking the stereo pair returns functionality and restoring it breaks the functionality.At first I thought it was just time to give up on the Play:1, but this seems more like a software bug

Let me start by saying I’m old and not especially tech savvy, although I am able to get things done.  I purchased a new iMac and migrated all data. A few Playlists and some corresponding songs are missing in my Sonos library.  The Music Media folder location on Mac is:  /Macintosh HD/Users/name/Music/Music/Media. On Sonos it’s:  //IMAC/Music. I tried to use the Mac location in ADD SHARED MUSIC FOLDER, but couldn’t go on to NEXT - greyed out - only CANCEL as an option.  I’m afraid (read: old) to delete the //IMAC/Music location for fear I will still not be able to ADD new location.  Interestingly, I am able to use Sonos , even without matching folder locations. Any help and info would be great!  Just try not to use computer jargony terms.  Thanks so much!Sue

I'm struggling to understand home cinema setup for true 5.0 or 5.1.It appears that it is not possible! I wanted to use two play1 , ONE sl or simfonisk as front L-R and Ray or Beam as center and two play1 surrounds. Later adding sub.Why soundbars is designed as 3 channel only? Especially Ray, it is using single tweeter for 3 channels.Ray front stage is so narrow it is hard to hear stereo unless you are listening 1m from it,not even mentioning 3 channels. TV 55inch speakers are doing much better (wider) stage!To use it with 100inch projector screen sound stage must be wider! Ideally it should be around 3m wide but I think even ARC will struggle with that...I would even preferred two speakers as stereo but that is not possible as well. So how to go around it, is it possible to setup group with stereo pair and soundbar? 

Hi everyone,I have experienced issues with airplay from appleTV to Play:5 gen2 and a paired Playbar.When I airplay to the Play:5 the sound is constant but the paired Playbar drops out on/off with a 30sec or so interval. It is the same if I airplay from other devices. It seems to have appeared after the software update recently.Any ideas om how to fix it or why this has occured.?BR,Morten

my roam stopped working last night. it just says offline. i reset the speaker, re added it, it took a while to “connect” to my wifi, and still says offline.  nothing else in my house has an issue

My system is not compatible with S2. The app demands that I upgrade to S2 and won’t let me open S1. How do I open the S1?

Leur SAV n’a pas encore résolu le souci, ceci depuis 5 semaines. Cable HDMI et décodeur changés. Vi har 2 Arc i huset, som hver er koblet sammen med en sub og 2 stk. one. Pludselig virker surround og sub lyd ikke længere. Vi kan sagtes koble sub’en sammen med andre enheder og så virker det fint. Vi har forsøgt at nulstille både arc og sub, men lige meget hjælper det. Er der andre der har oplevet dette og fået det fikset?

I often listen to podcasts and audiobooks through my Roam, however when i disconnect from the Roam the progress of what I’m listening to resets back to the beginning.I also have a couple of Sonos One speakers and a Soundbar on the same network however there is no issue with them.Is there anything i can do to fix this issue? thanksHarry

So the sonos sounds really good but I'm having one problem. I can't get Atmos to come through from the Sony A80J.I seem to be only getting DD+ 5.1 which sounds great but obviously I really want to be getting Atmos.I'm streaming direct from Disney + via the in built app. I've got eARC switched to Auto along with pass through.I definitely got atmos with my previous LG SP9Ya with the same tv so I'm not sure what the issue is?I've unplugged the tv for a few minutes and plugged it back in to force a eARC handshake but still nothing...Checked for sonos updates and that's all good.I'm using the provided Sonos HDMI cable.Running out of ideas.

Have had this problem on and off for years now. It’s gotten REALLY bad lately. Have contacted support directly and they weren’t much help. I cannot connect to SiriusXM for days now. I also can randomly connect (yes, I said connect as it mostly won’t connect) to play YouTube Music as well. I’ve shut everything down (multiple times). Everything is upgraded. Only way I can get YT Music to play is by trying to start with a different speaker to add to a group. Most won’t play at all and I find one which will (sometimes). I am convinced it has to do with your horrible WiFi implementation. Why? Because all of my speakers except for one is connected via wire. I had WiFi disconnected but it obviously tries to do something and eventually fails. When I called support they made me re-enable WiFi (even though I’m not using it). No, it didn’t help.  

Why can’t my SONOS see my music Library on my external hard drive.  It sees  my music on my iMac desktop??  I add it and I see it listed when I go to folders but when I click it i get a dialogue box saying that there are no selections available.

I see this is a recurring and persistent issue here, so joining the chorus of users who are having issues streaming SiriusXM radio via my Sonos system. I can usually connect and SiriusXM will play for an hour (if I’m lucky; it often cuts out much sooner) before the stream drops. Once the stream dies I get the “song not encoded correctly” error which makes no sense. I can usually restart the stream after waiting for 5–10 minutes.I listen via various Sonos speakers that I own, primarily a Play:1 in my office, or a group of speakers that includes a Sonos One, Play:3, Move, and Play:1. This ONLY happens with Sirius. None of my other streaming radio services (Apple Music, Amazon Music, Sonos Radio, TuneIn, Bandcamp) experience this issue. My 1gb internet connection is stable and strong. There is no obvious wireless interference from a cordless phone, TV remotes, etc.I’m confident that this isn’t a hardware or connectivity issue on my end. Is this a Sonos problem? A SiriusXM problem?
