We have used the Sonos skill on our Sonos One for the last year or so and generally it works well.Lately I have had to disable and re-enable the skill every month or so to keep it working. Now it does not work at all, even removing the Alexa voice command, disabling the skill, re-enabling the voice command and re-enabling the Sonos Skill will not get music playing reliably. It works for one song and then just stops.  Skip does not work. This is a skill we use *every* day and it is hugely annoying that it no longer works. It does not appear that the skill has been updated in years, can someone PLEASE sort it out?I have run through all the troubleshooting, including checking for system updates on our Sonos environment … we have made considerable investment in Sonos equipment over the years.Thanks,John.

I had a week of outage of my broadband provider. They replaced my cable modem (router configured as a modem). All fixed eventually..NO changes to the wifi router and everything else has reconnected fine.  BUT. On the sonos app, I had no devices. My playbase was droping sound every few seconds even though it was working together with the rest of the surround sound. I could not control anything. I did a factory reset on 2 x Sonos 1s, my sub and playbase. It took 2 or 3 attempts to get them to connect, but eventually I was able to add the two 1s and the sub in the Lounge “room” in the app. Then I added the playbase - this took 7 or 8 attempts until it eventually worked. I added it to the room Lounge. Thought I had success. When I went to the app again, the playbase was showing as being in “Lounge 2” while the two 1s and the sub remained in “Lounge”. When I try to change the room for the Playbase to Lounge, it does not appear on the list and when I try to reassign the 1s and sub from Loung

I own a Beam2 connected with my LG OLED TV via eARC.I have a problem… If I choose to hear from TV speakers or BT headphones, after I choose it from the TV, Beam2 retake the control and the sound exit from there and not from TV speakers or BT headphones I choose…In other words, I can choose to hear from TV speakers or BT headphones only if disconnect the Sonos Beam2 from the TV…Do you think it is acceptable????

Hello Everyone,I need your help, since the 14.18.1 update, the localization function in the Sonos app on iOS is missing.Since this last update, I have a lot of problem with my local library on my WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra.Sometimes this library disappears and I must to update manually the library in the Sonos app. I have no modified the initial configuration but the problems are there.Thank you forward for your time and kind regards.

I have removed my account and re-added it multiple times and the plylists still do not show up.  Just gives the message "Unable to browse music"  All other browse options work in LivePhish on Sonos except for My Playlists.   Someone please look into this as not being able to play your playlists is frustrating.

I've recently moved my Sonos One in a location where I want to use it more with voice commands and I'm finding an issue with using the Google Assistant and YouTube Music.   I give the assistant a command to play a genre of music or a specific command and it responds accordingly; "Playing you song from YouTube Music".However, after the assistant responds the affirmative that it will play the music, nothing is ever played. I can use the Sonos app to play music without issues but this isn't the point.  Also, if family members expect to use the speaker, they will only have access to it through voice commands since they do not have (or want) the Sonos app on their devices.Anyone else having similar issues or ideas for things to try?

Has anyone noticed that the playlists on LivePhish not appearing on Sonos?

I have setup a couple of the Sonos Amp and a Sonos Soundbar throughout my house. When I setup the Sonos skill in Alexa I can see my soundbar but not the amps in the Amazon devices. How can I get Alexa to see the Amps so I can ask Alexa to play music from Amazon Music to a specific Amp?Thanks.Joel

I opened up the My Sonos app this morning, and all the info is gone.  No playlists or anything.  The only thing showing is “recently listened”.   Is there a way to get it to load up the info?

When I try to browse Music folder via Plex i cant see the folder in Sonos app.Under Music library in Sonos setting/Music library you can add folders, but the Qnap Nas only has IP adress and not \\computer\sharename.Any suggestions?

I have a Beam Gen 2, sub-mini and a pair of Symfonisks setup for my home theater - love it, works great. Sometimes I venture off to the kitchen and want to be able to continue listening to whatever is on TV. I was thinking that I could buy a Sonos One and plop it in the kitchen and use multi-room to extend the audio from the HT to the kitchen? Would that work? Is the system smart enough to keep the HT setup as proper x.1 surround (so that somebody who is still watching the TV still has that HT audio) while knowing that the kitchen is just a single solo speaker and provide it audio accordingly?

Realme X50 Android phone.Interaction between MS Outlook and Sonos app was fine until yesterday. Whilst using my phone to listen in my Beam 2 every time I receive an email the app would switch off the radio. I've had to turn off notifications as a fix but far from an ideal solution. What are the chances Sonos will fix this bug?

Situation: I come home, Sonos is silent. I think, “I’d like to hear <song x>”; I search for it, press play, I enjoy the song, the song finishes and then immediately after whatever the hell it was I was listening to the previous time I used the Sonos starts playing. How do I make it not do that? Ever? I never want that to happen. Do the thing I ask you to do, and then just stop doing things.

When I am playing Amazon music through my Sonos system it works fine for a while, but within about 30-1 hour my control on my amazon App completely goes away and Sonos takes control. So if I want to skip a song, change my artist, look up and play other songs on the Amazon App I cannot . The Sonos App usurps control. I have to shut both apps down and sometime even reboot my Android phone to have it work and gain for a little while… then it plays Amazon music for a while and Sonos takes over again. It’s incredibly frustrating!   Has anyone else had this happen?

I had asked this issue two years ago. But this issue has been not resolved yet. Spotify had launched in Korea a few years ago. Why still Sonos not support to connect with Spotify in Sonos one yet? This is an unfair situation for KR users and Sonos would not handle it, I think. If anyone who is responsible for this issue in Sonos can check, Let me know the exact reason soon. Thanks.

was just gifted a Sonos One SL for my birthday, i’ve been planning to get more but am unsure how compatible gen 1 is with gen 2. The Sonos One SL I am assuming is the newest one out because was gifted it recently. If i wanted to buy more speakers, do they all have to be gen 2? or could i buy a Play 1 Gen 1 from a friend and it all syncs together? Planning to buy a beam/arc around christmas.  mainly plan to use for movies, music when friends are over.

i want to add a seconf play 5 in kitchen have plugged in re booted ( as sh ) but my system wont find it what could be wrong

Hi Folks, looking to see if anyone else suffers from loosing sound after fast forwarding on Sky Q Ultra. When I fast forward any recorded programmes on Sky Q Ultra and return to play I loose sound. I need to change my AV channel and return back to channel and sound is reinstated. I have try changing cables and inputs without any joy. So not sure if it’s the Sky Q box, Sony TV or the Sonos Arc

I’ve come back from holiday to find that some of my newer speakers (play bar, play3, play1, move) are no longer compatible with the Sonos s1 controller, only the s2 now works.  This is frustrating as I now have speakers which don’t all work on the same controller (which was the s1!).  What can I do to sort?thank you for your response in due course.

How do I know if my sonos one are 2nd. generation?

Hi, I see interference with sonos speakers after getting sky q is not unique. Have had sonos phone chats but problem repeats periodically.  Would a sonos boost be guaranteed fix to problem /Thanks.

The recently played area of the app (Android) never changes when I play new tracks. Can someone advise how to troubleshoot this?

My system connects to a NAS drive which holds my music library of maybe 2000 albums.  I’ve noticed in the past week or so (but could have been happening before) that the music library has now shrunk to maybe only 200 albums.  I have switched the NAS off and on.  I have re-indexed my music library manually (it is set up update every night anyway) and when i put a new album on the NAS and re-index it just isn’t seeing it at all.  Any ideas?

Hi there! I have been using Storytel for over 1,5 years in my Sonos S1 system. It has always worked perfectly. Since about 1,5 weeks, I cannot search nor browse Storytel content. I have tried to restart all my devices and also removed and readded my Storytel account. I can add it properly like before, but no content is available any more. All my other services like Spotify, SR (Swedish radio) and many others work perfectly fine. Logs here:1001481229There is nothing wrong with my Storytel account. When I use their app, it works 100% fine. Thanks for any kind of assistance in this matter!

Any help on what seems like a now dead Zoneplayer S5?I was using my Zoneplayer S5, and decided to click the Upgrade option for my System on the Sonos.com website. When I saw the 30% discount from a regular price wasn’t enough to attract me to upgrade, I decided not to upgrade. The next time I went to use my Zoneplayer S5, the lights were off, and I can’t get the unit to respond with any light. I have replaced the cable, and tried a factory reset, but I have not experienced the result expected. Does anyone if Sonos.com has a user agreement, currently or past Sonos, that had terms that allowed Sonos or its agents to artificially turn off or disable Sonos devices at their discretion or under conditions like an EOL? Wondering if Sonos Director, Corporate Counsel, Rebecca Schuster, or Sonos Chief Legal Officer, Eddie Lazarus, might be able to shed some light on the above question on the user agreement.I just want my Zoneplayer S5 to work like it did right before I clicked that upgrade butto
