How do I know if my sonos one are 2nd. generation?

Log in to your Sonos account and check under System

https://www.sonos.com/myaccount/system/households/devices/

You could also look at the base of the One as if it’s Gen 2 it will say that under the visible product name.

The One SL only has 1 generation.

If you mean Sonos One as per your question then it says on the speaker label.

For your thread title, all One SLs are based on gen 2 Sonos One.
