Morning all! I think I need to take back a tv. After installing a 65” LG OLED B2, I found it is not pairing with my Arc SL. Neither input is labeled with the HDMI(ARC). LG’s website says the first HDMI is usually the HDMI(ARC) input. I also found a review stating it worked. Anyone else able to connect an LG B2 series OLED to an Arc SL? If not, I am afraid I’ll have to take it back

Can Sonos beam be paired with in-wall speakers (architectural) to create surround sound effects?

Have atv4k hooked up to sony 55”x950h (hdmi 1 ) and then ARC/eARC (hdmi 3) to new Sonos Arc.  Tv settings are set for audio pass through (auto) I get atmos from every streaming service except disney plus. Sonos app says multichannel PCM 5.1. The audio is noticeably softer / not as full as atmos content.  any ideas or suggestions to try. Do I need a 4k arcana? 

There are a number of conversations regarding problems with TV set-up, especially with Samsung TV’s not playing nice. Rather than troubleshooting problems, I’m interested in successes.Specifically, has anyone combined a TV+AppleTV+ARC or TV+AppleTV+AMP (for ceiling speakers) where the TV remote controls Sonos Volume AND the volume level displays on the TV?  If yes, please share the details of your setup and TV make/model.Thanks

Hi,I have a sonos S1 system using a bridge and Sonosnet.In my kitchen I have a Hive heating box plugged into the ethernet on my Sonos Play 5 using the network bridging facility.Will this continue to work if I move away from Sonosnet and use WIFI instead? Thanks!

I cannot connect via Sonos app or Bluetooth. In the app it says “offline”. I can’t see it in AirPlay. I do have several Sonos speakers that work just as they should (wifi and AirPlay). My roam has been plugged in for awhile so I think I can eliminate battery or wireless charging (don’t own it) I did try powering it down  I walked through find missing products multiple times. Note that restarting my router is a 12 min task.The chat box appears to walk you through the help steps again so that seems useless. Thus here I am since the office is closed  anyone have an idea? 

Hi there,When I Open the windows APP, no speakers are showing and it asks to update.I click update.On the PC (Windows 11) the update says it has failed.I check the IOS app and it says there is no updates available.I have uninstalled and reinstalled the PC app. I still get the same issues. Any ideas ? Many thanks.

I have 2 Sonos Amps, can I use one of the amps for a 5.1 surround sound with built in in wall speakers and sub woofer. Or do I need to get a receiver and connect my Sonos Amps to it. I’m moving into a new house that has built in surround speakers 5.1, speakers for outdoor patio and speakers in main bedroom. I currently have 2 Sonos amps and 4 SL ones. How can I connect them all together?

Three months is all it took for Sonos Move to stop working. 3 MONTHS for a $450 speaker. Well they Sonos team replaced it with a refurbished speaker. Good job, Sonos team!My question to community is - Do you feel comfortable paying $450 for a brand new speaker from SONOS website and within 3 months getting your product replaced by a refurbished one. Are you okay with this customer service. I am not, and would appreciate your feedback.

Hi All Wired, in my lounge I have a arc, paired with a couple of 5’s and a sub, at the other end of the house (about 17m/55ft) - with three 1’s along the path. Audio in the lounge is faultless, however every other room is troublesome, with random audio drops - often playing for hours, then dropping for a few seconds, then working again for a long period of time, or sometimes just continuing to be annoying until you give up :-) our wifi network is using channel 1 and 6, and Sonos is configured for 11. any other ideas? cheers

I have 2 Sonos Amps and want to connect them to my Onkyo TX-NR6050 7.2-Channel AV Receiver. Do I need to buy a port to connect them all and control on my speakers?

Playback suddenly stopped today while I was watching exciting live sport.I use Play5 pair via line in only, I no longer use Sonos app or playback over wifi. But today, suddenly playback stopped. Dead. No issues with my network or sound source.  So I power cycle Play 5’s. No re-connection. Open app (that I haven’t used in weeks), it says nope, you need new app. App is basically bricked until I go to app store, update app. Since when did apps completely stop working as a way to force an update?Updated app, still nope. Now need new  speaker software. Loading…waiting… loading, finally done.Bad UX. What if I was in the middle of something important when you shut down the speakers you detect as not updated? Live streaming a funeral or something?I don’t even use the app, so are the Play5’s constantly calling home and telling you my speaker’s logs? “ALERT! ALERT! I just bought a Hisense U6GR TV (with Roku built in). I have an existing Sonos Playbar that was connected to another TV previously, with paired remote. I connected the Playbar to the new TV and the IR signal light blinked whenever I hit the volume buttons on the remote, but it didn’t control the volume on the Playbar. I went through the “Remote Control Setup” process on the Sonos S2 app and the app indicated the pairing was successful.As soon as the pairing was done, the Playbar IR signal light no longer blinked, indicating it wasn’t receiving an IR signal from the remote (and the volume isn’t changing). However, the TV is still being controlled by the remote. I then went through a factory reset on the Playbar. After the factory reset, the IR indicator light still doesn’t blink when using the remote, and I cannot complete the “Remote Control Setup” process on the Sonos S2 app. The remote still controls the TV just fine.My three hypotheses that could explain this behavior are:The IR rec

Now it is composed by a playbar and 2 SL.The main topic is where the sub will be installed (see pictures - and don't judge 😅 I just moved )  does it make sense to install a sub in a niche? I have an arc grouped with two five's The arc out of the blue volume starts to increases and I know it is the arc as I hear the clicks sound coming from the arc. Even after using the remote to lower it continues to increase. The remote I fine including the batteries. It is only after unplugging the arc it clears.Has anyone run into issue.

helloI plan to buy a sonos ray.I have a concern.I want to connect it to my Samsung smart monitor M7 pc screen. the monitor does not have an optical port it only has Hdmi Arc ports.the store near me sells the sonos ray and offers the sonos optical adapter with it and assures me that it allows you to do this:sonos ray -> adapter connected to the optical port -> hdmi cable connected to the hdmi port of the adapter -> hdmi cable connected to the hdmi arc port of the monitor.What do you think ? because I called sonos support who did not know what I was talking about.. thank you

Hi, Have an old iPad that I would like to use the XM streaming app to play over my Sonos system. It works on my newer iphone and 3rd party app but because the iPad is so old the Sonos app refused to run on it and thus can not connect to the system with that iPad. Is there a manually way to get the iPad to recognize the system? Thanks

I’ve tried to play such file as described in the title, and it says in the app it’s playing Multichannel PCM 7.1 I know sonos isn’t a 7.1 system, so in this case am I losing ATMOS or other audio content?  I’ve played 5.1 atmos files just fine

Please help someone, please!?I have been in IT for over 30 years and I have never seen an app like this. I have changed the wifi to a different router. so what is the problem?I would like to point my Sonos system (4 x SL + 1 x Sub) to the new wifi please.but when doing in to System → Network → pressing a greyed out “Manage Netowrks” the Android app tells me System update needed.   ( The app was on auto update but now I have switched off auto update, but it still does demand the update).Clicking Update, I get the message that there is an update and I have the option to press Update or Not now.So I press Not now as I want to do the WiFi configuration so I can update. make sense? or am I just stupid in thinking this is a logical way to go?What happens?  THE APP TAKES ME BACK TO THE MANAGE NETOWORK SCREEN!!!!!!Think quietly to myself “how interesting” again clicking Managen Networks, laughing at my stupidity of thinking that Not Now would do it. again getting the System Update Needed, one

Hello all, I know this question has been asked in a variety of ways, but I can’t seem to find my exact answer.  I’ve listed the components of my system below: Sony Bravia x950HApple TV 4kPlaybarSonos Sub I have the apple TV going into the Bravia via HDMI.  Optical out to the playbar and wirelessly connected sub.  No problem with this setup to date.I recently moved into a location that has built in rear speakers that I would like to connect to this system as dedicated rears.  It seems I can purchase the Amp to accomplish this.  I have 2 questions: 1.)  Will I notice any latency in connecting the rear speakers with the Amp?  If so, is there a way to avoid this with my current setup?2.)  What would be the best way to setup?In my mind, I would just add the Amp wirelessly to the group.  However, I have access to all the “guts” very easily, meaning, the location of the amp can connect to the same ethernet as the Playbar, and I also have access to the HDMI-arc from the TV or apple TV if neede

I have a Sonos Amp connected to my Xfi router’s LAN port via ethernet, thus putting my entire Sonos system in a wired mode.   It’s worked flawlessly since I installed it a few weeks ago.   Yesterday I connected an AppleTV and a Samsung television to two more of the router’s LAN ports for streaming stability.   When I did that, my Sonos music started cutting out every 4.5 seconds and it happened continuously so long as EITHER of those devices was connected to the router.   I tried removing the TV connection and the music still cut in and out.   Then I reconnected the TV and removed the AppleTV and got the same result.   The idea was to prove whether it was the AppleTV or the Samsung television, but alas they both cause the same problem.    When I disconnected both devices from the router, the music played perfectly again.Please note that there is NO interaction between the television/AppleTV and the Sonos system.   For instance, the TV audio plays out of its on board speakers, not throu

Just last night, I thought… Sonos has been stable for eight days. Unprecedented!Then today, it stopped playing Playlists. It would have trouble adding to the queue, and then when it did add, it would play 20 seconds of a song and skip forward.It would not update the music library.So I deleted the Library and tried re-adding.It gave me the above error message, so I added the IRPStackSize key as directed in the above message. (I did not have that in my registry, but remember everything was pretty close to OK for a week).I cut my Library folder down to just a few titles, and still get this message. I tried adding from my Android, and got the 900 error - which references back to “Server Stack”.It’s a 4 TB drive, and the total diskspace used is 178 GB.  Ay ay ay.

My daughter likes to put her hand on the actual subwoofer speakers while a song plays with big bass. Could that potentially damage the sub or is that okay? We have a Sonos Sub Mini.

I’m using the latest version of the Sonos app on my iPad and my iPhone. My Sonos system is up to date as well. I’m logged into my Sonos account on the app. I have Apple Music as my main source, but also Amazon Music. If I search for an artist, like CAIN and from Apple Music choose the station, “CAIN & Similar Artists Station”. It plays just fine and like it should. If I come back another day and select that choice from the list of Recent Searches within the Sonos app, it always shows “No results” or doesn’t even show Apple Music as an option. If I then delete everything and just search for “CAIN” and then select stations, the “CAIN & Similar Artists Station” appears as available and under Apple Music.I don’t understand why a recent search wouldn’t bring up the exact same results as what I originally selected for that search.
