We have one of our Sonos Amp’s connected to outside speakers and it seems that the volume has to be over 50 (on the iPhone app) in order to hear any music. But the rest of our amps and speakers don’t go much over 20ish and have good sound. Do you think its a problem with the amp? or the speakers? any suggestions...

I have a Beam (Gen 2) hooked up to my Samsung TV and Apple TV box. Everything has worked like a charm for the last year or so.Having changed nothing, as of last night, I suddenly have no sound through the Anynet+ (Samsung HDMI-CEC) connection. Sonos still works fine via Airplay 2 with other devices. The TV sees the Sonos Beam, but when I increase the volume, rather than registering a volume number, I get a series of dots sweeping up and then it disappears (see image 1).I have spent several hours trying everything I can think of. I’ve powered everything off, removed the HDMI cables, turned everything back on and reconnected step by step. Everything is working -- except the sound through the Beam.I’ve tried re-setting up the TV through the Sonos App, but I get stuck at images 2 and 3.I’m stumped and very frustrated. If anyone could help I’d be truly grateful...Apple TV iOS 15.6Samsung TV 6100  

Amazon Alexa is fully supported in Brazil, including full Portuguese-BR support and Amazon sells the full Echo product range on the Amazon Brazil store.And yet, the Sonos app tells me that Alexa isn’t available here??This is so frustrating because I went through a huge ordeal to bring a sonos arc to Brazil (its massive and I had to bring it through a separate cargo package as it doesn’t fit the luggage. And I bought it specially because the out of the box integration with Alexa groups and therefore echo products.This is very disappointing and I hope this is fixed soon :(

Hi all. I've been experiencing this for a while now. I'm not sure if it's normal or not.  When I open the sonos app on my iPhone 13 pro max it will refresh or search for the sonos system for a while. Initially saying no system available or errors are present and then eventually everything works fine. It's not really a big issue but sometimes it can take a while to open up and control the system. I've screen recorded what I mean. Playbar is connected to TV and wired to the router.  Does anyone know if this is normal or if it is an issue with my system?  Is there a fox for this? I have reinstalled the app and factory reset all speakers.  TIAMike 

Hello Sonos Community!I am considering setting my home up with Sonos, and I was hoping to get some specific answers/advice.I have 2xSonos One (G2) speakers in my kids’ rooms. I found that in order to use Alexa and Spotify independently (and not have the need to have ipads/phones in their rooms), I needed to setup 2 separate sonos systems entirely. This includes separate sonos, spotify,  and Alexa accounts. It works well, but was confusing to figure out how to set it up. My assumption is that I’ll be setting up a third Sonos system (call it ‘Home’) to control the remainder of my speakers and setup.   I have a Marantz receiver and wired 5.1 surround sound speakers hooked up already in my living room. I don’t think I’m interested in completely swapping this setup for Sonos speakers, but it’d be neat if I could incorporate the Sonos setup to leverage it.   I would like to put some outdoor / all-weather speakers outside on my rear patio.   I would like to add some speakers to my kitchen and

Since a recent update this stupid screen pops up, and you have to piss around with the app for five minutes to get rid of it.Ironically it's blocking the favourites screen, and serves absolutely no purpose.Please get rid of it.

Sonos speakers Symfonisk does not show to cast Youtube music, youtube. Sonos app is working and connects, but of course is not the same.

Hoping someone can help (I’ve tried Sonos Support but couldn’t connect through to a live person)… My Sonos Roam has stopped charging entirely. I’ve tried different chargers - the same charger is still powering other devices, so that doesn’t seem to be the issue. I’ve also tried holding down the button at the back, holding down the play/pause button and pushing on the button at the back. It is making no sounds/ no lights etc (I figure because it is out of charge? maybe?). I don’t seem to have anyway to get it to work! Ideas/suggestions would be very welcome! Thanks :-)

Today I bought a new Beam Gen 2 Sonos product at Costco and now that I’m trying to set it up it is requesting an e-mail and password that does not belong to me as if someone else linked their e-mail with this hardware. It seems that I won’t be able to fully use my new product if it linked and governed by someone else.

I've had nothing but trouble with my sonos since purchasing and completely regret going for this wireless system, alexa talks back and tells me she's playing the music I ask for but nothing at all comes out of the speakers, Spotify will not connect for some reason either so I'm left either using the system to watch TV or play sonos radio which I can't skip or pick a track on.  I've been through all the suggestions on the Internet trying to get it connected and working properly but nothing seems to work  Any ideas 💡 

Hi all I currently have an arc + sub setup for TV watching and a pair of KEF LS50 Wireless actives for music. The great bass response I get with the Sonos setup has now made me want to hook up a sub to the kefs :)  is there any way to use my existing Sonos sub 3 for this? I know I can’t connect the sub directly to the kefs but would a solution be to use a Sonos Port? Would connecting the Port optical out to the Kef optical in allow me to group them together with the sub? I think I’m getting a headache

I am thinking about purchasing the Sonia roam. Is it possible to connect it with my TV / sound bar to take it into my garden and listen to the TV out there?

Will the Sonos arc, gen 3 sub work with home wifi which is T-Mobile 5g? I hope it does I want this system.

We’re doing a big backyard renovation and trying to figure out the setup and what I need to have an electrician do.  I have some general questions about using Sonos AMP + Outdoor speakers + TV. My assumption is that the best setup to get the TV connected is to connect HDMI ARC from TV to Amp, correct? The TV will only use native apps for TV (YouTube TV, HBO Max, etc).  How easy will it be to switch audio via Siri/Airplay from the TV or vice versa? Any other considerations I need to have as I begin getting equipment and cables for the electrician?Thanks in advance for any insight as to what may be needed.

Hi. For some reason my Sonos Sub 3 has stopped working on WiFi but I have since solved the problem by connecting my Sub directly to my router.However I am curious as to why this should happen on WiFi but not on an ethernet connection?I now have my Arc and Sub connected directly to my router with just my 2 One SL's connecting via WiFi as I have had no issues with my 2 surround speakers!It was only with the Arc and Sub that I had connection issues.It was strange as when I had the problem the Sub was showing on the Sonos app but no sound was coming out of the Sub whilst it was on WiFi.Just curious. By the way I have tried all the usual things like rebooting my router etc.Just to add that before when I only had the Arc on a wired connection (I think it's called SonosNet), on the Sonos app under 'About My System' I only used to have the Arc on WM:0 but now not only is the Sub on WM:0 but the 2 SL's are as well and they are still on WiFi?How is that?I would have thought that my 2 SL's would

My Sonos S1 gen 1 will not connect to my phone so I am unable to connect to wifi.I have done multiple factory resets. I have 3 units but none will connect.

Hello All, I have a Sonos setup in my home with a Play5, 3 Sonos One, and a Sonos Port connected to powered monitors. I have successfully run with no issues for years on my Netgear Orbi Mesh.Since the last Sonos update, each speaker drops connection randomly every day or so. The only way to recover is to power down and reboot the device. I show no issues in the network or router, have done packet tracing etc (Im an engineer) and there is no anomaly in any other device on the network (PCs, TVs, cell phones, etc). Even though it was a waste of time, I reset and re-setup all devices on the network, but the problem persists ONLY with the Sonos devices and the Sonos app. Anyone else seeing similar issues?

I have attempted to connect my Sonos One to my Nest Wifi. Quick Help suggests adjusting my router which has has both 2.4 & 5 GHz to 2.4 GHz. Why is the Sonos not automatically connecting to the 2.4 GHz? 

I have an older Mac Mini, A1347, from late 2014, hooked up to my home theater system for some games on it. Apparently this model doesn’t send audio out through the HDMI cable. My system in that room uses a Playbar, two Sonos 1 players, and the woofer (forgot what it’s called). When I try to use AirPlay so I can play the audio from this Mac through my theater sound system in the same room, that system (based on the Playbar) is not on the list of Sonos devices I can use for playback. All the other Sonos devices in that building and in the house (all on the same LAN) show up, but not the theater setup.Is this a solveable problem or is there some reason the Playbar and combined system of 4 speakers can’t handle AirPlay when all the smaller devices can?

Hihave spend a whole day trying to figure out what the problem is. But didn’t succeed, so I hope maybe someone here could help me out. my problem is that in my Sonos app Dolby Atmos is not displayed when watching movies from my Apple TV 4K. It only displays Dolby Digital plus 5.1.alle the movies in different apps (Netflix, Disney, HBO) shows the Atmos option in the info title. Normally when this is displayed I am also receiving Atmos on my Sonos app.  when using the mentioned apps from my tv instead of Apple TV 4K I am also getting Atmos on my Sonos app.  Anybody who can tell med what the h… is going on :) 

Help please: I have the Arc, a Sub and 2x Fives for my surrounds in my 'Living Room' zone (Arc+Sub+LS+RS) connected to my television.Can I switch the 2 Fives for use in stereo with my turntable (yes, I have a preamp) so I can listen to vinyl as well (not at the same time)?Thanks in advance.

I added a new album (cd) to my Music Library folder on my computer, but it is not showing up in my Music Library on Sonos.  I have re-booted, etc.  Do I have to remove my Music Library and re-install in Sonos?

This sucks that I cannot log into my Tunein premium service! Now I have to listen to adds each time I want to listen to a radio station. Get with it sonos, your system sucks. Looking for a new home audio system. Sonos is not a user friendly product!

I have a 10-years plus plethora of first generation (S1) products that don’t function with S2 software. Is there a work-around way to get my system to work with Bluetooth devices 

Previous (now closed) question from another user notes this problem. Suggested solution is to use Sonos app Line-Out setting as Fixed and not as Pass-through. Both that user and I have followed this fix and still unable to control Sonos Port volume using physical volume control knob. any other ideas? Thank you
