Hi. I have my Samsung TV connected to my AMP using an HDMI over ethernet (cat6) adapter. The sound connection is recognized on the TV but I'm not getting audio to the ceiling speakers or fronts. I'm trying to set up my in ceiling and front wall speakers along with in wall subs into a souround sound set up. I suspect that there is a lot going on there. Any suggestions? Thanks

I bought a new projector with Android TV version 10 from Xgimi (Elfin). Now I wanted to pass the sound on to my Sonos Roam via Bluetooth. Unfortunately, the Roam makes absolutely no sound. I've paired and restarted the whole thing several times. Also tried it with other Bluetooth speakers and headphones. Seems to work there with no problems. Has anyone already gained experience specifically with the Xgimi projectors or with Android TV or Google TV? Is there possibly an incompatibility with Sonos products?

Hello! I tried to fit the whole question into the title, but will clarify abit.I have a Sonos AMP Gen 2, which I have connected a 3rd party subwoofer to using the RCA LFE out on the amp. This works perfectly, but it also activates an adjustable high-pass filter for the main speakers. I wish to turn this filter off completely and have the full range signal go to my main speakers, even though I still use the sub. I cannot find this setting anywhere. Thankful for assistance!

I am considering Sonos set up for my new home. In my new home I have great room , dining room and kitchen all in one straight line. The kitchen is far from the great room wall where my TV hangs. I have prewire set up for rear channels in great room and two speakers in kitchen. So this is what I intend to do and please let me know if this is possible. I will have a Sonos Arc under the tv to act as 3 channels. I will have a Sonos Amp connected to Sonos Arc. This Amp should power the two rear channels in the great room to create a 5 channel surround in great room. Now since the kitchen is a bit far, I want the same Amp to also power the two in-ceiling speakers in my kitchen with the same audio as great room but as a separate room. I do not want to create a 7 channel system, what I want to create is a 5 channel system in the great room and a two channel system in my kitchen playing the same audio. Is this possible? Are there any recommendations or considerations for this set up? Would I ne

How can you play and manage music with TV off?

We have multiple Sonos amps that play different zones all over the house. I have no issue using the iPad. When I pull it up on my iPhone 2 zones are not in the list. On the IPad they are visible, on my iPhone they aren't there. All on the same network and wireless. It's as if they are hiding from my iPhone. They work fine from the iPad but from the iPhone they just don't show up as a zone to pick but all the other zones are there and work fine from the iPhone. All Sonos uses a wired connection to the network.  Anyone else have this issue? Anyone figure out why? Thank you

Not sure of this has been asked already. My set up Sonos Beam Gen 2, Sub Gen 3 and pair of One SLPC Windows 11 - Ultrawide monitor. I want to connect my RTX 3090 GPU HDMI to HD Fury Arcana HDMI 2.1 HDMI-in and the Sonos Beam Gen 2 to EARC-out, but not connect the other HDMI-out to any display as I will be using the display port from my GPU connected directly to an ultra wide monitor. Will the sonos beam work in this set up without a display by using a Nvidia control panel to select HDMI audio only My goal is to be able to play games in Dolby Atmos with Dolby Access software from the Microsoft Store.

I've recently noticed a significant signal delay between speakers connected to my Sonos Connect and other Sonos speakers

I currently use two Ones and a playbar as my home tv speaker system, could I add a third One to enhance the sound?

the sonos system recognizes the sub but when I try to pair it it gives me "setup problems"and does not associate it with any room

I’ve enjoyed system for 2+ years and just recently experienced random loud popping noise out of ceiling surround speakers then sound stops out of ceiling speakers and goes down to minimal sound out of Arc.

Hello all,Over the last weeks I started having problems with my Sonos system.I have 3 separate rooms defined:[a] Play:1 stereo pair [b] Play:1 stereo pair [c] Play:3 stereo pair + Sub + PlaybarEvery room by itself seems to work fine. But when I start to group rooms, for example [a] + [b], two problems occur:One of the speakers in one of the pairs goes mute/silent (this one is pretty consistent). When I ungroup, it goes back to work perfectly fine in stereo with the other speaker in the pair. The rooms go out of sync between each other by fraction of a second (this one seems random for now, or it goes out of sync in time). All components are fully updated, all components are on S2. I have a very stable and fast network connection and each speaker is not further than 7m away from the wifi router. I haven’t seen any such problems at any time in my 8+ years with Sonos…Any ideas? Is it a known issue(s)?BTW, is there any kind of “factory reset” for Sonos units, especially the ones I own?Thank

Hi, apple music does not work. Says cannot connect to apple. Other services work just fine. Anybody has the similar problem? Tanks.

Is the windows controller able to handle both newer Sonos products like Ray , and integrate older legacy products like Play 5 together…. Seeing the controller is not S1 or S2 designated … I haven’t tried yet but will at some point when I bring a set of play 5s back from the cabin…

After the 14.18 updates recently, the link for Trueplay was sent to me in my iPad and I duly did it in my room which consisted of the Arc, a pair of One SLs and the Sub Mini. There was no problem (both steps) and i was successful on the first occasion and of course the overall sound improvement was instantly noticeable.         Unfortunately I cannot say the same for my set up in the hall. I have my Playbar, Sub Gen 3 and a pair of One SLs. I was unable to even get through the first step of the Trueplay because apparently there is some noise interference in the hall. I had this done at 5am in the morning with everything off except the lights and no outside noise either. I have been trying since but have been unsuccessful all the time - not even the first step. For your information the set up was on Trueplay before the updates. Can anyone enlighten me on what to do about this?

I am considering buying a Beam gen 2 to take the atmos sound. Will I still be able to use my old play 1 speakers ?I currently only use the Controller 1Will I be able to get atmos as my TV only has ARC not eARC?

I’ll be retiring in 1-1.5 years and the wife & I are planning to move to South Korea to live for 2 years before returning back to the US. I have several Sonos products and soon planning to upgrade from Sonos One to Fives to complete my system. I would like to take the Ones, Fives & Move with us to Korea. Will the Sonos work in Korea? Will the Sonos app and Spotify work?

I have connected my ion Max turntable to the play 5. The music plays through Play 5(2nd Gen), Beam and sub mini. The bass does not sound great. However the same music played through airplay from Spotify sounds great. What am I doing wrong? I can feel the subwoofer vibrating but there is hardly and bass. thanks.

Is it safe for the Sonos roam to be charging in the bathroom while showering behind a glass door?

I’ve had my arc only for 2 or 3 years and today is stopped playin tv audio. Nothing changed overnight. I can’t believe it lasted so short a time. I have absolutely no idea how to get it working again. Sonos app says connection issue. Tv no longer shows connection too.  and here… to post Sonos wants me to choose a subject… where the hack is that. I see topics, but not subjects. Edit: I guess by subject, it’s really to pick a sub forum?Moderator Note: Replying to yourself first makes it less likely that someone else will reply (topic is no longer “in need of a reply”). And yes, it means sub-forum. I’ve taken care of that for you.

What is the difference between sonos one and sonos one SL

I have a 5 connected by line to turntable. Can I also connect  to my sonos system?

Since upgrading to the S2 app, my Gen 2 Connect Amp is not working properly.  I have it connected to a Yamaha Receiver via an RCA plug.  There is a signal going to the receiver as I can hear music playing softy on the receiver but only when the receiver is dialed to extreme volumes (near max).  I have tried different RCA plugs and different receiver inputs (Audio 4, 5, and Phono) all with the same result.  Customer service says everything looks to be working from the trouble shooting codes.  Any ideas? BTW, when I reset the connect to see if it would work on the S1 app, the S1 app keeps directing me to use the S2 app and doesnt give me an option to use it.  Not sure if there is a work around for that...

Wether it is a track on my local phone, or a Spotify playlist - if the track is over an hour in length (like a DJ set mix), the Sonos app grays these out and will not play them. However, if I open Spotify or Apple Music and stream it to the Sonos speakers, it works fine.My first thought is some sort of DRM protection or something else that’s blocking based on length, but not sure. Anyone else encounter this issue?
