I upgrade my full Sonos system their their S2 products and was 3 amps short.  On 5/30/22, I placed I upgraded through Sonos for those 3 amps and was promised a ship date of 8/12/22.  They did not ship.  I’ve followed up with Dennis in Customer Service and each time he says it is a shipping issue and there is no ETA.  No ETA could mean a week, a month or a year.  As a long time Sonos customer, they aren’t showing any desire to appease my concerns.  Has anyone succeeded in getting a real response from them?

Moving from the Netherlands to Dallas (TX, USA).Bought my Sonos Beam, Sub and 5 Sonos one’s in the Netherlands and wonder if they would work in the US with a simple transformer? Or would that not work?  

Is it possible to set Sonos 5’s up as a pair, but have them both playing mono/the same thing (rather than stereo)?  I realise you can group the speakers, but controlling them in a group using Alexa is less effective than as a pair.  Due to the position of the speakers in the room, having them playing in stereo can sound odd.  Thanks

Hello allIm aware this is a question that has been asked before but im yet to find a solution or answer that i understand.I have a client who has an old Cob house with super thick walls. We have wired in TP-Link access points to each room with a single SSID on Auto channel configuration. This is so all devices can roam inside and outside on the same network seamlessly. This works fine for all phones and laptops etc.With the new Wireless network in place we reconfigured the Sonos system setting up as like brand new. When in the Kitchen, id reset the Play1 Sonos then it would appear in my app and add as usually expected. When i then walk in to the Lounge. i see the App look like its lost connection as the username etc goes Grey, then after 15 seconds it appears white and showing connected apart from its no longer showing the Kitchen Sonos device. I continue by resetting the 2 x Lounge Sonos Play1 devices and add as a Stereo pair again in the usually expected manner. I can now see both co

Hey all, thanks in advance for any help/advice/pointing out errors in my thinking.I have a Home Theatre (HT) setup in my 4m x 8m family room/kitchen space. It consists of an Onkyo 5100 wired to pre-existing built in front and surround speakers with a decent center channel and power sub, which I don’t want to replace. All those speakers are in the 4m x 4m family room side. I have a Sonos Move in the kitchen side of the space which is used for music and Alexa functionality - set timers, add things to grocery list, etc. I’m about to upgrade the kitchen and want to tie the two sides of the room together, with a Sonos Amp replacing the Move, so that I can a) listen to the same music through the HT setup or b) get the HT audio playing on the kitchen side. Eventually I’d like to add speakers outside which can do a) and b) as well. I’ve read a lot on this forum, the Sonos product instruction and installation guides and other sites but I’m still not sure if I can get it to work as desired.To st

Move - music plays from app but on/off button and bluetooth button will not work. Any suggestions please?

My surrounds have stopped working over the past few days and I have removed and re-added them but still not working. I have an Arc, Sub and a connect amp connecting 2 surrounds. All are S2 using 14.2. If I set up connect as separate zone all sounds plays fine through my surround speakers, so I know amp is working. When I reconnect them as surrounds Sonos adds them ok and connect Amp can control volume of Arc no problem but no sound coming from surrounds when playing music in full or ambient mode. I have tried to toggle surrounds on and off. I have also tried trueplay tuning but when it starts it says some speakers appear to be missing.  Is there a way to roll back to version 14.11, and has anyone else experienced this issue since the update 4 days ago? cheers Lee

Hi all,I am considering the following setup:Sonos Arc as the “CENTER” speaker. Sonos Amp to drive my passive HECO L/R speakers.I would hardwire the Arc to the TV via HDMI/ARC and add the Amp as L/R. Will this work? There is no need for surrounds!Thanks!   

There seems to be problem with localisation in the PC controller app.  When I view the list of shows in a specific list of shows I’ve subscribed to, the date format is not DD/MM/YYYY (UK where I live).  The dates of the shows are listed in MM/DD/YYYY (US) format.Could this get checked out and if I’m not being dumb, get fixed?Cheers

Hi, I would like to stream all sounds of my PC Windows through Sonos One I have. I saw that it should be possible to connect Connect on my PC and then Grouped with my Sonos One, but there is some delay from the video to the sound of the Sonos One.I saw on Internet, there is some small soft to simulate airplay on a PC (something like that) and then it says it is possible to use Sonos One for a PC Windows.Is anyone tried those kind of soft and if yes, witch one could you recommend ?ThanksE.

I’ve had the same problem as so many others. 4 of my 8 Sonos speakers “disconnected” this week, and I cannot reconnect them. I’ve been through all the basic steps repeatedly. Restart router, factory reset speakers, “find lost speakers” thing in the app. I have been able to get some speakers reconnected for short periods, but they disconnect again. I spent an hour with phone support, but they simply provide all the things I’ve already tried. They don’t seem to understand the situation.I even tried the ‘email the ceo’ link :)I know Sonos speakers are always a major pain to get set up, but I was able to get all 8 of mine set up. I’ve been able to fix problems with periodic connectivity weirdness. But this time, I cannot fix it. The one thing that can make this type of situation bearable is good support. For years my Sonos setup has been pulling music from a QNAP NAS device. The QNAP recently wore out and I replaced it with a Synology device. Sonos is having some trouble with it.I go to the Sonos controller settings, type in the path to the shared NAS folder, and Sonos begins indexing. It seems to be indexing for five or ten minutes, and then it errors out saying the folder is no longer available (screenshot below.) It’s done that four times now.Near as I can tell the NAS device is doing just fine. I can, for example, reliably browse to the shared folder in the Windows File Explorer. But Sonos keeps deciding the connection has dropped. I have 2 routers.  The main router in my house (let’s call this “router A”) and then a cat 6 cable runs from router A 100’ out into my garage to “router B”.my speaker will not work with router B.  All of my other Wi-Fi products work fine (computer, iPad, etc).  The speaker drops continuously.  I have done a factory reset, and also connected speaker with cat 6 directly to router B.  Still have problems.  The speaker works fine on router A.what setting needs changed on router B?

I have a beam, sub and One SLs setup as surround in my living room. I recently bought two used Play 1’s and it won’t connect as surround. It recognized them but will not connect toy current setup. How do I get them to pair into my existing surround setup?  

I just purchased a brand new Sonos Port. This replaced a Sonos Connect that stopped working. The old Sonos Connect had RCA plugs going into Audio In coming from a Denon AVR-S710W receiver. The receiver was hooked up to five speakers throughout the house.The Sonos Port was setup using Wi-Fi and the Sonos app found it easily. The color of the light in front of it is white. I can play music on the Sonos app but I am not getting any sound from speakers. I hooked the RCA cables to the audio IN option in the back of the Sonos Port.Any suggestions for me to get sound from my speakers is appreciated.

I’ve had a Sonos Arc ARCG1US1BLK back in Dec 2020, and have a Sony Bravia 65” XBR-65X900F connected through an ARC HDMI cable. It works about 90% of the time but periodically the Sonos Arc will stop playing audio. Things I typically try to get it working again:Restart TV Disconnect/reconnect HDMI cable Restart Sonos Arc Switch from HDMI to TV source and back Switch between TV speakers and external speakersUsually only restarting the TV fixes it most of the time, but sometimes i just have to restart everything and reconnect everything. The past few weeks though it’s been happening very frequently. I’ve noticed it most when we’re streaming something and pause it. When we try to unpause the audio doesn’t return.What the heck is going on with this thing, is this a known bug that Sonos is going to patch? Can they maybe just add a button to “Fix/Reset” everything automatically. Not having a power button on the device implies there is no need to reset it. Except this thing has been frustratin

I’m looking for the best way to make a TV that is outside and connected to Wi-Fi a source within the Sonos ecosystem. I could connect a beam to the TV, but I am afraid of the outdoor humidity. Thoughts?

I got an Amp and will wire around my terrace, which is currently broken in two areas and I want to have 2 speakers on each area.My plan is: I’ll run them in Dual Mono and have two speakers on L and two on R, (L&R being each side of the terrace) Is there a way I can have each side have different volumes?I don’t mind if it’s the same music, but for example one side has a summer kitchen / dining and the other one has a lounge area, so settings / conversations might different so different volumes might be appreciated.The most logical answer is get another Amp but that would require me to drop another $750, is the a simpler way? anything “simple” that can be done in the app? any kind of volume control in the wiring that might help / recommended? I am DIY’ing this :) 

Can I get my sonos system work from a laptop ? If so what do I need to download gone on the sonos website clicking the button for download and nothing Can you also get the app to work on I pad ?  cheers 

Just found out i cannot control the Sonos Ray through the TV remote … and so on the look out for a smart looking remote for Volume Control. Any recommendations?

I’ve spent months trying to figure this out.  Through trial and error, I confirmed that when pairing a Sonos sub with a Sonos One, or One SL, I can only stream Amazon music in HD, and not Ultra HD.  A post from Dec 2021 confirms this as another user had the same issue with Play 5s.  Pairing the Sub with my Arc is fine, and streams Ultra HD.  Again from the other post, this is true for the Sonos Beam.  I will be reaching out to Support.  Looking forward to a fix.  I bought a 2nd sub to pair with my speakers for the enhanced music experience.  It would be great to stream to this setup in Ultra HD.

Hi,Appologies in advanced if this has been asked before.I have a old Panasonic 50” Plasma TH-50U30A which I am pretty certain does not do Dolby Passthrough from its Optical or HDMI ports.I have a spare Beam or Playbar (together with a Sub and two ones) which I can connect to this TV but in either case will only get Stereo PCM :-(Is anyone able to suggest a good splitter which I could use to connect:Apple TV → Splitter → Beam ARC Port (For Audio) and TV ARC or HDMI Port (For Audio) or Apple TV → Splitter → PlayBar Optical Port (For Audio) and TV ARC or HDMI Port (For Video)  Preference would be for the latter (Playbar)

Hi all , I'm using the S2 app for my beam gen 2 and I get the notification in the notification drop down menu on my android phone but when the TV is off the notification defaults back to the last radio station I had on but also I can't use the " remove notification" button , it does nothing, if I remove the home screen widget iam then able to remove the drop down notification, thing is , I like the widget ! Definitely a bug with the app .  

I’ve recently received a Sonos Roam SL as a birthday gift, I’m having issues turning it off and it remaining off, as per the instructions I push and hold the on/off button for at least 5 secs (minimum) until I hear the second tone, indications are that it has turned off, even the app says it’s off line, after about 5 to 10 mins the white status light comes back on and the app I dictates it available. Any ideas please.Thanks
