Have a wedding coming up.Have an existing Move.Needed a small system to play via Bluetooth .was told via support that I could use both the Roam as well as the Move together, but not as a Stereo pair to play the same music (Spotify Playlist) through both the Roam and the Move.No wifi will be available on site, will need to be fully blue tooth.TestingController S2 is installed.Configured a “Group” to include the Roam and the Move with Wi-Fi active.Sound Playing in Roam and Move.Knocked down controller to test full blue tooth functionalitybluetooth is activeBoth speakers are connected.Any attempt to share music between the two or to move off WiFi to full Bluetooth connectivity seem to result in either loss of both speakers or the Move.What am I missing?Should I buy another Roam, will that be easier?  (I was told this configuration would work without Wi-Fi,)Any third party applications that facilitate easier configuration? 

I have a Beam 2 which is connected to a Samsung QLED TV.  I also have two B&O Beolab 6000 speakers which, using a dongle,  I can connect via Bluetooth to the TV. The overall sound is actually better using the Beam but I’d like to connect them via Bluetooth to the Beam and use them as surround speakers. Does anyone know if that’s possible or can I only do that using Sonos speakers? 

after changing Internet Service from Xfinity to ATT the Sonos app can’t find my system. My wifi and other network setting are the same the only change is the  network IP from 10.0.0.x to 192.168.0.X I tried power recycle the equipment but it did not work. any ideas?

Please add two wifi switches.  One for 2.4GHz SonosNet/data and one for 5GHz used during ad-hoc surround/sub usage.  I want incoming data handled over Ethernet but still need the 5GHz for bonded speakers.

My sonos roam won’t turn on and it’s only 2 months old. Bought it for my birthday but didn’t get round to try connecting it to my sonos app until over a month. Tried to connect it with no luck and now it won’t even turn on. I heard lots of people have the same issue and other issues with sonos roam. What do I do? Many thanks.

I have noticed at several stores that are showcasing the arc that the area where the LED is is bulging and the cover around  it is cracked. Just wondering if this is an inherent problem and if anyone here has this happen to their arc? 

Hello,I have a Sonos Connect, factory reset it, and green light is flashing.However when hardwired to router ethernet lights do not work ie. no connection between amplifier and router.  Tried different cables, different ports , resetting router ,etc but ethernet port will not connect.Any suggestions please?

I have an all Gen1 system, that includes a ZonePlayer. I can handle all the other stuff not working, but the Zoneplayer is what controls speakers in my yard with the outdoor TV.NO matter what I try I can not get the Zoneplayer to connect to the S1 app. Any suggestions?

Sony BRAVIA X90J TV audio output is not locking to the level control of the Sonos Sound bar Beam and sub. They get out of sync. 

Hi,I recently bought a second Sonos roam which I love. However I’m concerned about security & privacy.  I was listening to music using my iPhone which  was connected to my Sonos roam via Bluetooth. Frustratingly my neighbour was able gain unauthorised access and mess around with the volume and the play / pause button remotely without my permission.  He does not have access to my Wi-Fi and we are not acquaintances.  How has he gained access to control my Sonos speaker? Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening again?  Many thanks in advance   

Brand new Sonos move and a base charger not charging.  I have another move so I tried and it charges using my old base. The new base will not charge either of my Sonos MOVE SPEAKERS.  Seems like a faulty base. I’ve checked it and it doesn’t have any debris or anything on the points. Any ideas?

Play 5 gen 1 does not show in S2 app, but does when logged into account on sonos.com on system, no upgrade option showing. Trying to get the discount so can upgrade on line store….. Any ideas why?

Hello,Can you please help me with a speaker WIFI -issue.I am unable to transfer speakers to Wifi from cable connection.Speakers are now in WM:0 -mode (cable) and works with cable-ethernet.Reinstalled speakers after Wifi password change but they did not connect to Sonos after this.I am trying to Update network from S2 app.System stucks in loop trying to find products for 1-2 minutes.I tried to connect cable to mesh network primary router but without success to tranfer speakers to Wifi.Do you have any suggestions how to connect to wifi?I have 3 Play1 and 1 IKEA Symfonisk -speakers.All speakers are updated to version 14.14Restarted all systems reinstalled app without any success. Thank you for your answers!

Hi, I have recently noticed that Spotify controller (PC and Android versions) no longer can see my Sonos speakers in the ‘Connect to device’ option. Up until last week it was working fine. I have recently changed my router and had to reconnect all my speakers again. However, everything is working fine except this particular issue.Any suggestions?

Hi - just moved house and inherited kit but can’t get it working. Rooms have ceiling speakers which are connected to QED pre-amp/powered amps. Then there’s an Onkyo receiver (which I didn’t want to use so thought I didn’t need) and a Sonos Connect. Previous owner showed me she used Sonos s2 app to play music thru ceiling speakers in one room or multi room. But everything got unplugged when she moved. So am struggling to know how to reconnect. Sonos now registered to me and app connected to my Amazon music. Haven’t yet been able to connect/pair onkyo with Sonos connect. Have tried connecting Sonos to QED directly using rca cables as per Sonos support but nothing plays thru ceiling speakers. So now think I need onkyo involved? Would onkyo need to connect to QED via wall sockets then to Sonos via Bluetooth? Losing the plot now!!!

I have had my system for a couple months now. I setup my Music Library, which is a folder shared on my Synology NAS, on day one. After the indexing occurred in the first 24-hours, I have had no issues accessing the library when I click into it. However, after the 14.14 update occurred, my Music Library is now missing! I am able to use Alexa and stream Amazon Music as well as Apple Music without issue. But my library is completely gone. I try to add it back in through the app, but it is not working. It indicates that an initial indexing needs to take place before my library will show up. I have waited for 2 days now, no luck! Any ideas?? I have rebooted NAS as well as rebooted my phone. TV works just fine, too. I would really like to get my library back… HELP! :) PS - I have an iPhone 13 Max Pro, in case that makes a difference. And I should also mention that the app on my phone as well as my Arc, Sub Gen 3  and (2) Sonos One SLs are all currently updated and running 14.14.

I am having another Sonos love/hate relationship that we are all so familiar with. I love these products but why do they have to fail so hard with setup?So, I got a new router…..(I know that’s how it always starts)….I have tried literally everything and I am several hours in. I disabled all the old networks. I disabled wifi-assist and cellular data on my phone. I closed the Sonos App on my computer so that it wouldn’t interfere and I was only operating on the IOS app on the phone. I unplugged my other Sonos devices. I plugged the One SL into the router with a hardwired ethernet cable. I made sure the phone was on the right WiFi network. I did reset the Sonos S2 app in App Preferences. I did a factory reset on the One SL. I tried to install the One SL as a new system. I did all of these things multiple times. EVERY SINGLE TIME IT IS THE SAME PROBLEM--it finds the One SL and says I added it to the system successfully, but that the system might not find it. It tells me that if the system

I can’t get this thing to connect wirelessly to my Archer AX5400 (AX73). Is this a new compatibility issue based on firmware updates? I have had Arc and One SL connected to this same router in a different location less than 6 months ago. Now, trying to set up a new system, it fails after I enter the WiFi password. 

Recently there is a marked difference between the volume and loudness. It seems I have to crank things up a bit to experience the loudness and umph I enjoyed before. Don't know if it is because i got out of the beta testing group, or after I enabled Sonos Voice, but i am not happy. Before volume 7-10 worked perfectly as background passive listening for my reggae music, now i have to crank it up to 15!! :(

Everything was working fine with my arc and Panasonic tv.But after the last Sonos update:The tv sound is not in sync.The (sky) remote no longer controls the arc volume/mute but now controls the tv instead.The tv sound plays at different sync to arc at the same time. Not sure what’s got out of whack. Any help welcome.thanks 

The title should of course refer to BBCI like to play podcasts from BBC Sounds on my Sonos system.  Normally these work just fine but if the podcast is flagged as having adult themes or strong language all I get is the warning message “What you’re about to hear contains adult themes and strong language” repeated over and over and the podcast itself never plays. Other podcasts from BBC Sounds play just fine and I can play those with the warning on other devices.It’s really frustrating and I’ve been unable to track down a solution. Malcolm

I am hoping someone can help. We have Sonos, a Beam (with TV plugged in via ARC), an amp (with turntable), an old Play 3 and a Roam.I am having real problems connecting the TV to the system. I can get it to play through the Beam, but not the other speakers, which was my hack for a surround sound type TV watching experience.This is a recent problem, and I've done the basics (all updates, unplug from power, unplug ARC, etc.) and still doesn't work.Sometimes the other speakers show up in my controller (sometimes they do not), and even if I crank the volume on the amp and the play 3, no sound comes out.I do find this constant connection issues frustrating with Sonos.Side note: primarily my wife uses the Beam voice controlled with Alexa, not sure if that is related or not.Any advice warmly appreciated.

I find the on-screen graphical user interface volume control overlay to be quite annoying while adjusting the volume up or down during a program or movie. I really don’t understand why it’s there at all, as it does not even give a sound level? Is there a way to turn this off? Thank you for your replies!

About two weeks ago, the Sonos app asked me to reauthorize Apple Music (I have an Android phone running Android 12). I followed the steps and ended up in an endless loop of requests for reauthorization. I’ve done everything I can possibly do - my controller and system (Play3) are up to date, I’ve factory reset, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the controller app and Apple Music, I checked my internet connection.I see several threads where this seems to happen from time to time. Is anyone else experiencing this issue and do Sonos/Apple ever fix it?
