I have two Sonos One speakers on my home network. One in the living room, the other in my office. Plus, a google speaker in the kitchen.Whenever anyone uses the Sonos in the living room, it drops off the network for the other users.It takes ages to add the device back to the app. The scan loops forever, then it suddenly connects as it did before. Or not, and we give up.I've linked our accounts to the network.Does anybody know why?It's a massive pain.

Is Dual Mono available using Sonos Connect Gen 2 via S2 software?

Sonos Arc not appearing on app after working perfectly well since set up many months ago. I have powered off device, rebooted wifi and device. Sound working on TV through HDMI arc cable.  All other Sonos devices are working fine  Grateful for advice to get system back working again 

I’m about to purchase a Sonos set up and wanted to check my thinking. I want the Beam (2) and I can connect it to two One SLs for surround sound on the TV.If the TV is off and I ask Alexa to play some music, will the Ones both play the music as well or just the Beam?If so will the sound balance out? The TV will be in the corner and the Ones on either side of the couch facing the TV. It’s a fairly large room too.

I had google assistant on my beam, it wasnt working so i did the old “remove it and add it back on” routine, BUT i cant get it to add back on!Two hours on the phone, no go….now someone will call me back the next business day (two days).. anyone have a fix i can try before then?Fyi - i was able to add google assistant to my roam no problem… when trying to add it to the beam, i get the “no devices found” from the google assistant app..  

Hi,After a year or so of playing without any issues, I am now regularly experiencing issues where songs played from my music library (NAS drive) or Spotify are stopping mid song and then either restarting on the same song after several seconds or jumping to the next song. I would appreciate any suggestions to resolve this.I currently have no issues with my WiFi which is super fast (1Gbit). Hi all, While these are probably basic questions, I’m new to most of the technologies I’m asking about so It’s a bit overwhelming to search for info when you’re not familiar with the terminology and products 🙁. My current setup consists of older LCD connected to Apple TV and a Denon receiver which is connected to a set of regular speakers. I want to migrate to Smart TV, ditch the Apple TV, and replace the Receiver and speakers with two Sonos Five in the living room with the option of later adding subwoofer, and several One’s spread around the rooms in the house. All speakers (or at least the ones in the living room) will be connected via ethernet. My use cases:Connect my Roon (which is running on a NAS) to Sonos. I’ve already checked that this is possible (with few limitations). Have the option to connect the Smart TV to the speakers in the living room but have it trivial to switch between sound from the TV and speakers. Note, I’m not interested in Home Theatre Surround setup. Regardi

Hello everyone I have a digital karaoke machine but am having trouble connecting to tv. I have a sonos beam and a sonos port 

I’ve moved to a new house and wanting to set up multi room music streaming by integrating my NAIM hi-fi (Uniti Core music server and XP5 XS2 streamer, plus amps and speakers) with my Sonos system (Arc and two Play:1’s acting as surround sound for my LG television) and adding a couple of extra Sonos speakers for kitchen and patio.  Problem is that the Sonos system does not show the Core as either a uPnP source or as a music server.  After reading some posts that perhaps my ASUS Zen mesh network was the problem, I’ve added a switch and now everything is hardwired to either the switch (Core, XS2, LG-TV and Arc) or to the router (Both Play:1’s and obviously the switch is hardwired back to the router).  The LG tv can “see” the Core and play music from it via the LG media app. The Sonos can play from other music sources (eg Amazon Music). The NAIM streamer is very happy to play music off the NAIM core. Any suggestions why Sonos can’t see the NAIM core as a uPnP source?  

Hi. Can I turn down the TV audio whilst watching the TV picture but using the Play Bar for music?

This is crazy! The shuffle button always worked for years and now its gone (With Apple Music when I select my apple music).  But if I go straight to Apple Music, the shuffle button is there. Anyone know how to fix this? I called Sonos and they said they couldn’t help me but would take it under consideration.   Without a shuffle button, I would never have bought my two systems.  Sonos has to do better than that. 

Hi all, Really hoping someone can help. I’ve had 4 speakers hard wired into the ceilings with good quality speaker cable. 2x left and 2x right.The cables are too thick to fit 2 into a single banana plug that came with the amp. I purchased some stackable banana plugs instead which the cables fit into fine BUT the actual “plug” bit is too big for the holes in the back of the amp?! They fit fine in my Blue Sound amp. Please help :(

I have a ray and surround sound through an amp. I paired the remote and it says it is set up on sonos app.  The volume bar goes up and down on the screen but the volume doesn’t change when using Tv remote. The sound is coming out of the sonos system and not TV speakers so it is connected but not working. Any ideas?

I recently added a ray to my living room Tv. I already four speakers wired to a sonos amp in this room. I am trying to add the existing speakers to the ray to create surround. The online setup runs as it should but the connection fails every time and erases the amp from my system. The result is I have to restart the amp and I don’t get the surround sound desired.  Am I missing something?  I can pair the speakers, but since they aren’t truly setup as surround they just echo, it isn’t the desired outcome. Please help.

I’ve tried connecting the Port OUT L/R to the Audio IN L/R 1 line and assigning it in the settings to an input. I get no sound regardless of where I’ve connected so far. Thanks!

I just put up a tv on my outdoor patio. Currently there are two speakers mounted on the ceiling. These speakers are hard wired to my living room but not plugged in. So I have an issue with a tv located outside and speakers wired to the inside and can’t get the hdmi to the amp. What is the best recommendation for using those speakers with an amp or just buying new Sonos speakers for outdoors?     

If I throw Spotify from my iPhone to my Sonos One it will sometimes begin to distort and will completely cut off on my Arc. This does not seem to happen if I use the Sonos app, but that is not as comprehensive of a musical experience. This only recently (last few months) began to happen after having owned the speaker for almost two years.Any idea of a fix or am I resigned to using the Sonos app? 

Hi guys I’ve just upgraded from a Sonos play bar to a Beam gen 2 and finding it a bit confusing which settings to set up on the PS5.I also have a sonos sub and 2 sonos 1’s as surroundsI can only get 7.1 output on pcm but there is also Dolby and Dolby dts setting but they show 5.1could someone advise best settings on ps5 please to get best out of my setup ? Thanks in anticipation

Redoing my kitchen and I just found out that the Sonos Ceiling speakers I bought (really Sonance) need to be connected to the Sonos AMP. Can I hardwire my AMP and mount it into the ceiling? Has anyone done this?Thank you!

I have a Gen 2 sub that’s connected up to a pair of Play:1 Speakers and have noticed that it is not making any sound. The speakers are playing sound and I can see the sub connected up in the app to the speaker but nothing is coming out of the sub speaker!  I have removed the sub and reset it and added it back in again but still no sound at all!  Any ideas or tips?  

In the last 2 weeks my Sonos disappeared from my Windows based laptop app and iphone based app,I have got it back on my iphone cannot get it back on my windows based app. Tried all the usual, updated app, rebooted everything. Any ideas please.
