Paired Sonos Ones in our kitchen to replace Alexa Echo.   Not when requesting music via Alexa on the Sonos, the volume is a”all over the place”.   Often starts very low or not at all, then jumps back to normal volume after 1 to 2 minute delay.   Removed and reinstalled Alexa Skill, but same problem.   Very annoying.   Just want Alexa request songs to play a normal volume and not eratic behavior.   Ideas? Moderator Notes: Edited Original post, so that it doesn’t look like it’s been replied.

When sending music to my other speaker (an old play one) in the kitchen from Sonos beam gen 2 everything is fine. But doing the same using tv audio I get sound dropping in and out. Is it something to do with my older play one or interference?

Ever since connecting my plex server to my brother's Sonos account as a music source (May 2021) I always have the option of casting to my brother's speakers from my plex mobile apps and from the web interface at app.plex.tv I have tried removing all Sonos references from Authorized Devices in plex settings. My brother has removed my plex server music from his Sonos app. He's even gone so far as changing his Sonos password. Regardless, I am still able to cast music to his speakers. I have my own Sonos account and can play my plex server music on my Sonos products via the Sonos app. However, from my plex apps the only Sonos casting options I can see are my brother's speakers. I can have my plex server authorized as a data source on multiple Sonos accounts; both accounts can play plex content on their individual systems. However, in my case it seems Plex apps themselves can only cast to the system of a single Sonos account. I don't know from where this limitation originates. It's as if my

Out of the blue, the sound from the LG OLED CX TV no longer gets played on the Arc.I tried: unplugging the TV, the Arc, and the FireTV, and replugging them.I also tried: enabling/disabling the eArc config in the TV settings and noticed that for a split second while I am doing that the sound plays and then stops.I tried connecting a laptop instead of the fireTV, no audio came out of the speakers at all.I tried different streaming services (Youtube, Netflix, Prime, etc.), the audio didn’t work for any of them.I tried playing music on the Arc via the Sonos app and Spotify, and that works. The issue started yesterday (Nov 19, 2022) - I’m wondering if there’s some new version of the software that got pushed to the speakers. My TV is offline (I block all internet traffic to/from it), so I’m pretty sure the software running on it did not get updated.I’m stumped. Anybody else is having a similar issue? Sonos Arc: Arc de TVSerial number: xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx (redacted)Sonos OS: S2Version: 14.19 (b

Hi  My Sonos ARC has recently started losing connection to my LG TV every time I turn off/on the tv. (LG 65NANO886) To reconnect i have to redo the complete setup process to obtain again sound from HDMI ARC. Already have the last software update, but still have the same issues. I have run a diagnostic which is 1479387262. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi,Has anyone noticed that since installing update 14.19 an intermittent problem of total loss of sound, or the 'odd' speaker dropping out, sometimes for up to approx. 5 secs?  More of an irritation than anything  else.  Never experienced this before and nothing obvious has changed on my network.I suspect the update is the problem but, one issue the update did 'cure' was a problem I had with speakers auto grouping post the previous update.Diagnostic (1066513742) provided within 5 mins of the last occurrence of this 'new' issue occurring. Any suggestions?

I have a Fortigate Firewall with a 8 ports switch and 3 Forti Accesspoints. My access points are configured in a separate native vlan (management). I have configured 2 SSID, one for IoT and a normal SSID voor users, with 2 seperate vlans. The sonos boxes are in the user wifi network as is my phone. I can connect and link everything in the sonos app, so far no problems. However, now I want to link my sub to the arc then this is impossible. Tried every setting but no luck. Anyone suggestions

I have two music services, Apple and Amazon. If I’m listening to a song and I want to browse the artist or see album info I can tap the three dots and do so if the song playing is from Amazon. If a song is playing from Apple Music, I can’t do either. I get a “No Selections available” message.I have reauthorized Apple Music, logged out and back in and I have an Apple subscription. I’m using iPhone 11. And if I am playing an Amazon Music song I go right to the artist or album. Not sure what’s up.

I use an Android Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G.  I’ve noticed that if I pull up the Sonos app and start playing music, it will play on all my other Sonos speakers (12 in all) *except* the one that’s closest to my phone.  If I’m in my office, music will play everywhere except my office.  If I’m in my bathroom, music will play everywhere except my bathroom.  It takes up to a minute for the close-proximity speaker to kick in and start playing, and if I crank up the volume I can hear the music everywhere else in the house.  Am I the only one having this problem?  The music source is a central Plex server on my home network, not my phone.

I’ve had my Sono 5 for years and played my music library without issue for a while, however, the last year or so sometime the app (phone and desktop) tells me it can’t find my music library - in the past i’ve had to delete my existing and replace it but for the past 7 + months (i just gave up and started streaming Spotify) i’ve been unable to even add the folder - even when i’m using the desktop app (the comp. where my music folder lives) - it keeps saying it can’t find the computer I’ve tried changing my firewall & sharing settings as suggested on a Sonos article but it’s still not working I’m on a Mac running 10.14

Just got system up and running last week (Arc, subwoofer, two SL rear speakers).   I had to reroute power cord on Arc last week and lost all connectivity.  30 minutes later, after a call with support, had to power off/on everything.   All is fine for 3 days.  Today, my Sonos app on my phone can’t communicate with anything.   Worked fine two days ago.   Having to power cycle everything again.   This is not good engineering.   If I have to power down all components on a weekly basis, I need to return this and buy something else.  Suggestions?

Does anybody know what the screw sizes for the  official Sonos One stands are?  I’ve lost the screw kit that came with the stands.  There were two sizes per stand (instructions just list them as ‘black screw’ and ‘silver screw’)I went to Home Depot but couldn’t find any that fit Thank you.

Hi have brought a new to me ZP100 I had trouble connecting to my S1 system to start, but I could play a record player through it via speakers attached to it, good start, then I managed to connect it to my existing system, great but now I can play my record player through it ??? Help

The analog RCA outputs are said to be 24 bits. Is this per channel or is it 12 bits per channel 24bits combined?

My Xfinity remote will not control my Arc SL if I’m more than 3 feet away.

Hello,I am looking to purchase a U Turn Orbit Plus with a built in Pre Amp. Will my old Gen 1 Connect:Amp Z100 work with this turntable? Or will I need to get a more updated amp/port/five for this to work?I currently have a collection of (2)Sonos One SL and (2)Play:1 speakers, a Beam, and Boost. So does this work?  Turntable w/ PreAmp → Connect:Amp Z100 → Sonos speakers (One and Play:1 or Beam)

I searched and did not see this answered. I have two (2) Sonos Move (and a Sonos Ray, but not consequential for this question). My music service is ITunes. How do I play ITunes to both Sonos Move, simultaneously? I was told you could do this, which is why I invested in a 2nd Move. Seems only SONOS Radio allows simultaneous play?

It appears that Sonos is really suited for home use. I have a bar and I use Sonos and Spotify but customers that have access to my Wifi also have access to my Sonos/Spotify. I have set my speakers to a separate Wifi on the same router and used to the Sonos App to access my Spotify music but even though people have no access to that password they can still get access to my speakers. Is there a professional solution for commercial use to block access for my customers?

When using amazon music prime we cannot see the songs on the queue and hence can’t go forward or back in tracks during playlist playback

So I have a Samsung NU8000/8070. It has had a Samsung firmware update so effectively has eARC sound options are Dolby digital and Dolby digital plus. Sky Q will play in Atmos (confirmed via Sonos app) when the Q box is set to DD+ and the tv sound is set to DD+. But on Netflix, nothing play in Atmos, says it is playing in DD+ 5.1, the tv is still set to DD+ so I am not sure why it won’t play in Atmos, I have nextfkix premium, so I have access to Dolby Atmos, everything shows as 5.1 on the Netflix main menu and doesn’t change in film. Any ideas?
