I am becoming increasingly frustrated with Tune In. My issue is that if I start listening to Sonos in one room and want to group this room with another room, I lose my radio station for a period of time to a barrage of advertising on Tune In. This is particularly frustrating when listening to speech radio where you can lose the thread of a discussion. Can this be stopped?

LONG time Customer with legacy components (Connect, ConnectAmp, Play1) that work just fine within Sonos S1 App - Don’t want, need or can afford to upgrade equipment.But thinking about adding a Sonos Beam gen2 soundbar - How do I integrate this product into my current system? Would separate S1 & S2 Apps work? Other better solutions?Sonos has been a great system but feeling a little left behind or forced to change... Thanks,BobJ

My Sonos one is showing in my system but beam isn’t. The Sonos one is connect on 5G but the beam will only connect on 2.4G. Would this be why only 1 of them is showing up? If so what do I do? many thanks 

I use Sonos as an alarm for Radio 4 each morning at 0700. For some weeks the radio has been cutting out after 20 mins. Have checked all the settings, nothing has changed.  How can this issue be resolved?

Hi, as per the Title, in the last week my Sonos system has started giving me that notorious error message every time I try to play something new, from any of my sources (Spotify/BBC Sounds / Pocket Cast etc).But - and this is the key thing. After I get the error message, if I try to play the stream again, *it works*.So my Sonos setup is still working, it’s just become really annoying as when I move from room to room (I have 7 Sonos speakers across 6 rooms + a Roam) I get the same error message when I start a new stream, and then I have to press play again for the stream to start. It was working fine until last week, and I hadn’t changed anything about my network or setup to cause this (to my knowledge!) I have a Virgin 500M fibre connection, and an Asus ZenWifi XT8 mesh system. The Sonos Beam in the lounge is connected via ethernet directly to router, and the rest are on SonosNet (apart from the Roam, obviously). I have tried all the usual troubleshooting steps - restart router, restar

Can the Sonos Arc display the volume connecter to a Sony A95k thru the e-Arc HDMI port??

My Amazon music app shows grayed out queue button and the option to add to queue on each song option is gone whenever I’m connected to a Sonos speaker. In order to add something to queue I have to disconnect, add to queue, then reconnect. Not a huge deal and I know I could just create another playlist but seemed weird and the queue feature is kinda nice so I was hoping it’d work smoother. Anyone experience something similar ? Is it an amazon issue ? 

Why can’t we just go back to the 14.10 update? it was working perfect then. My system sounds terrible now. Just add a separate volume like you did for Heights for those who want more voice. 

Hi, I have an issue where the speakers in the back and the sub gets deactivated by them selfs almost every day i my home theater set up. This is always at the first use of the day and never in the middle of playing a sound.Is this normal? I always have to activate them manually in the app. When I get home they are blinking slowly with green.I use the arc, sub gen 3 and 2 of the one sl.

So I thought I’d got this Sonos system off to a tee . Connected my play ones with my ray as a system and worked fantastic until I switched on tonight ray and the stereo system with the play ones all connected and showing in the app all good and connected but the problem is there’s no sound coming from the surrounds just the ray even though it’s showing all good in app I can adjust volume etc as normal but nothing coming out any thoughts on what’s wrong I’ve tried removing them and then adding them back but it’s the same no sound for the surrounds  thanksnin advance 

HiI’m about to upgrade a Gen 1 Connect for the Sonos Port. Am I correct in understanding that 24 Bit steaming is only available via Amazon Music, and Tidal is still only CD quality at 16 Bit? 

Hi, I just got my Sonos Arc (without sub). I was wondering how to tune Trueplay if you have 3 corner walls only. So my wall looks like:Front: where the tv is and the window at the backLeft: Concrete side wall with the couchBack: Couch with a wall (this is where I sit to watch)Right: Open spaceShould I tune on three walls or also do some tuning on the right side even though it is open space? 

HiLong story short. I have a Gen 1 Connect. I’m about to upgrade my HiFi system (speakers and amp) and hoping to improve my streaming source (currently using Spotify) to CD quality using TIDAL, Apple or Amazon Music. Recently, have purchased Sonos Move via the official Sonos app with the following concerns -1. There is no voice assistant in India except Sonos Voice control. When shall we have this in place?2. It's challenging to press the mode button sometimes as it doesn't detect the pressing of it.3. It takes a very long time to switch to Bluetooth and to connect the already paired or searching device/new device.4. Bangalore, India's support team is not efficient.5. Any solution to switch off the Sonos move via Mobile App since the app doesn't have any advanced features it works with the basic ideology that doesn't even detect incoming calls. Sonos Move should at least detect the incoming calls and take necessary steps such as pausing the music.6. The sound quality and clarity have gone after the last update.7. Hello,How come I can’t just open a support ticket on sonos.com?Anyway, I often experience that the sound from my Sonos Connect suddenly and briefly disappears.I have changed the RCA cable between the Sonos Connect and my amplifier, and I have switched off all my Sonos devices and the router. The Sonos Connect is connected by cable to the router via an ethernet switch. Could there be a problem with miy Sonos Connect? Could there be some temporary packet loss?In my router’s web interface SonosZP is marked with a yellow icon. Yellow means warning.Maybe changing ethernet cables would help?Would it help to hard reset my Sonos system? Other suggestions?Thank you in advance.Kind regards,Martin 

Hi allThe mute on my Arc is now lasting around 10/15 seconds after command atm & I've tried Everything I know to fix it.....Reset,Reaquire with no luck

I have used a Mac from late 2013 as a music server since that date.  All was working well until it updated to Catalina and simultaneously I updated to S2.   Since then, Sonos cannot find the music library saying that it cannot find the computer.  S2 is literally running on the computer itself.  I worked with customer service and it was determined that this was likely due to the known problem with Catalina’s security update that messed up File Sharing on Mac computers.  Indeed, this problem was present.So, I moved all of the music files over to my PC via an external drive.  I copied the files onto a SSD drive on my PC.  I then tried to link the music library on the PC, and I am getting the same message--S2 cannot find the computer, now the PC, it is running on and therefore cannot index the files.  On both computers, I can see and play the files using other applications.  I ran a diagnostic on the PC right after this occurred.  The diagnostic number is 1588168447.I have once again asked

I know that my Play-speakers ain’t working with Airplay. But, is it necessary to change both to Sonos One SL or will it work if I just change one of them and then make a group (consisting of one Play and one One SL)?

2 Soundbars, ONE on each side of TV??? In the house we are currently building, I prefer to NOT have the soundbar sitting on the fireplace mantle under the tv. (the whole idea of having a frame tv is to keep it from screaming ‘I’m a TV’)  I’ll have cabinets with shelves on each side of the fireplace. I’m wondering if I can use 2 soundbars - one on each side of the tv/fireplace on the shelves?  Or just one soundbar off to one side of the tv?  I’m concerned that will make the sound weird if its not centered.  Or is there another sonos option - maybe a surround system - that would allow me to not have a speaker centered on the fireplace below the tv but still provide great sound and clear dialogue?Thanks for any help you guys can give! 

Forgive me if this has been discussed where I missed it, but…I’ve read a lot about the difficulty with should lag when playing from Sonos Connect, Port or similar through an AV receiver using DSP, assuming I want synced music from both the Sonos zones and the AVR’s wired speakers.  From what I gather, setting speaker output on the AVR to 2-channel/direct is the only workaround (and still dependent on the AVR model) as it reduces the DSP time to more closely sync with the Sonos.What about a scenario where instead of the Port or Connect originating the source music and running line into the AVR, the AVR originates the source signal and sends line out to the Connect?  It looks like many AVRs now support various streaming services.Thanks for any thoughts. 

I have a Sonos One in the living room and Sonos One SL in the bedroom.When I am playing songs from my phone (iOS 13.3.1), airplay to either speaker won’t work.The error message I get is > Unable to connect to “Living Room”.However, when I airplay to Apple TV, it works! Any kind soul can help what’s wrong? I try restart my router, speakers and phone. It doesn’t work at all.

Hello again!.I've been using WiFi Analyser and it seems 2.4ghz round my area is chocker blocked where as 5gh is relatively untouched.I have Playbar, Sub, Play:1's, Play One's, Play 3's and Move.If I go over to S2 will all these be able to connect via 5gh and if it came to it can I downloade all back to S1? (I have a Connect S1 only to keep the S1 system).My Move seems to be having the hardest time with connecting it seems.I'm back on Channel one for now.I would like to try a Mesh System really but Sonos doesn't seem to get on with these?.Can S2 do SonosNet in 5ghz band?.Thanks for any comments. 

Sony Bravia KD 75XG95xx.    I can’t get any sound out of my playbar    No matter what I do.   Any ideas please ??
