Hi, I am also thinking about an Arc + Amp with architectural ceiling speakers for surround (+ Sub (Gen 3) ):
The Sonos FAQ page states some hardwiring requirements for the Arc and/or the Connect:Amp, when a Connect:Amp is used.
My question is: With the new Sonos Amp (successor of the Connect:Amp), is it still necessary to hard-wire?

The Amp does not require hardwiring when used for surrounds.
The Sonos Amp has a built in 5 Ghz radio. The CONNECT:AMP does not.
